Let's Have a Wet T-Shirt Contest

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours. Got up this morning around 09:30 hours, got changedm ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. After that I got on the PS2 and played "Outlaw Golf 2" I use Summer and her caddie Autum. Boy what a pair, wish they were real. Around 13:40 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. Got dressed and made my way into the "Barn". Got there and met Bill and Dohn and off we went. Met Medic 6-2 on the scene and loaded the lady up. I drove the squad down to the high school and then jumped on the unit. We then took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed down there and headed home. I still can't believe that I missed the whole Powder Puff football game. Dropped the medic of in front of the school and headed down to "The Pit" to see if they were still playing. Of course they had just finished and at that moment, we got tapped out for a fall person in Millersburg Borough. Went responding on that and we took her down to Hershey Hospital. Boy did she ever dislocate her left ankle. G0t what we needed down there and headed on home. Got back to the station and logged my times in and talked a little bit with Dohn and Bill. Headed on home then and finsihed my golf game and watched the end of the Busch race. Eatting dinner right now and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. A Quiet Day

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this moring around 10:00 hours. Got changed and ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. After that I got on the PS2 and played for a little bit and ate lucnh while I played also. Bill called around 14:30 hours and told me that we would be setting tables up at 16:00 hours. Left the house here around 15:30 hours and stopped at the Post Office and picked up stampes for my mother, then headed back to the "Barn" to help set tables up. Helped Dohn, Carol, and Bill set tables, chairs and silverware up for the dinner tomorrow. Did a few other things while I was there and then headed on home. Oh this is my 9th Child

Went to bed last night around 02:10 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:30 hours for a pregnancy in Halifax Township. Got dressed and called Bill on the radio and told him to meet me at Dohn house to pick up the stuff to take into the "Barn" and wait for the guy from NAS computer service to show up. Met Bill at Dohn's house and gave him the things, then got in the unit with Dohn and off we went. Got on the scene and took the lady down to Harrisburg Hospital. It was hard to believe that this lady was only 32 and this was going to be her 9th child. Damn. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. Dropped the medic off at Sheetz and I ran in and got lunch, then we headed out to Dohn's so I could pick up my car. We then headed back in to the shed. Put a new sharps container in 13-2 and then Dohn headed home. I stayed at the station, and ate lunch and then stayed there while the guy from NAS installed the new DSL line. While we were there we got tapped out for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. Dohn cane in throught and picked me and Bill up at the station and we headed on up. Took her down to Harrisburg Hospital and then headed on home. Stopped at the station and my father was there. Logged my times in and we talked a little, then I headed on home. Got home and took a qucik shower and then got dressed and ate dinner on the way up to Berrysburg's Fire Station to help with a CPR class. My father then came up after I did and we helped with the class which lasted about 3 hours. Got home around 22:00 horus and watched the rest of ER. Football Game

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:50 hours for an accident with injuries, a vehicle on it's side in Reed Township. Got out of bed and got dressed and got in my car and headed for Dohn and Carol's house. Got into Fisherville and they cancelled us, since it was a Duncannon call anyway. Turned around and headed on home since we were not needed. Got home and ate breakfast and read the paper and watched a little tv. After that I got on the PS2 and played Football until 11:00 hours and got off to watch a little more tv. After that was over I got back on the PS2 and played some more. Ate lunch and then dinner while I played. Just got back from getting my hair cut. Sure been a quiet day today. Oh well, gonna hit the old email and surf the net. A Nice Day for a Drive in a Squad

Around 23:30 hours last night the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Borough. Scott and Deb went on that and were available 15 minutes later. Then around 00:30 hours that pager went off again for a traumatic injury at the Halifax High School. Scott and Deb again took the call. Went to bed around 01:30 hours last night, and was rocked out of bed this moring around 08:50 hours for a call in Millersburg, but they got out and we were cancelled. Went back to bed and fell asleep and got up around 11:40 hours. Got changed and ate lunch and read the paper, and watched a little tv. Got on the PS2 then and played until around 14:50 hours, when the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. Got my boots on and headed into Dohn and Carol's house since they had the unit there. Met Bill and Dohn there and off we went. Met up with Medic 6-1 up there and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital class 2. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. Dropped the medic off at SLV for him to pick up his squad. About 10 minutes later he was heading u to Williamstown for a call. Went and got diesel and then headed back to the "Barn". Dohn went by it thinking we wanted to get our cars first. So he went down Bunker Hill road by the clugston farm. About 1/2 a mile down the road we got hit for an accident in Jackson Township. The lady was a refusal. As we were finisiing up with her we got tapped out for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Me, Bill and Carol clearned there and off we went. Got on the scene and got him loaded and Medic 81 showed up on the scene. I got to drive Medic 81's squad down to the hospital. Took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. On the way back we stopped at McDonald's and all three of us got dinner. We then headed on back to the station and I changed the M tank in the unit. Carol then took us back out to her house and I picked up my car and came on home. Played on the PS2 a little bit more and am now getting ready to hit the old email. Will be hitting the sack soon. A Day of Relaxation

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:5 hours. Moved my car so my mother could take Toby to the vets. Ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. Got on the PS2 around 12:00 hours and ate lunch around 12:30 hours. Got off the PS2 around 01:40 hours and got dressed and headed into town. Went and got my massage from Amber and was really able to relax some today. After I got my massage, I went up to Gaint and picked up a few things for my mother and came home. Ate dinner and played a little bit more. Scott called and asked if I could cover for him until around 22:00 to 22:30 hours and I said yes. So I got changed and then me and my father headed into the "Barn" for training tonight. Dropped my father off at the shed and ran up to Sheetz and got gas then went back to the station. Talked to Bill for a little bit, and then Dohn and Carol showed up and we had class. Just finished eating my snack and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Nice Day

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours. Was woke up this morning around 08:30 hours when Carol called and asked if I could cover for Deb and I said yes I could after 11:30 hours today. She said thank you and I went back to bed. Got back up around 09:52 hours and quickly took a shower and got dressed for church and headed on in. Got to church and read the scripture and then left. When I got out to my car and turned my cell phone on I had a voice message. So I listened to it and it was Viv telling me that there was a call and asking if I could go. I quickly called her back and told her I had just gottne out of church and could go. About that time I turned on my radio and heard 13-2 go responding. I called them on our private and had them pick me up in the front parking lot of the high school. We were heading out to Powells Valley Road for a pshycatric person, who was trying to put his shotgun together to kill himself. PSP got there the same time we did and they got the scene under control and called us in. Here the guy was in so much pain and had so many problems going on that he just wanted to end the pain. Me, Bill and Kim took him down to Hershey. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. They dropped me off to pick up my car and I went up to McDonald's and picked up lunch, then dropped of some mail for my mother and headed back to the station. Clocked my time in and finished eating lucnh then went home. Got home and finished watching "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas with my parents. After that I chanegd and me and my father watched "Kelly's Hero's" Finished watching that and am now eating dinner. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. SUGAR!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours, abd got up this morning around 11:10 hours. Got dressed and grabbed a quick breakfast and read the paper quick. Then headed into the "Barn" tp help with the dinner this afternoon. Got in there and helped prepare a lot of the food and set a few things up. Arounds 14:00 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Millersburg Borough. Me, Bill and Carol got in 13-1 and headed on up there. Got on the scene and then bandana George from 20 showed up and helped us out. Took her down to Holy Spirit and got back in time to eat and make a platter up to take home for my dad. Finished tearing down and cleaned the place up and backed the units in. Headed on home and gave my dad his platter and sat down on the couch and watched a little tv until the race came on. The race was just getting ready to start when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Got in my car and headed on into the station. While on my way in it was redispatched as a fall person. Met Sue and Dohn at the shed and we jumped in 13-1 and off we went. Got on the scene and it ended up being a diabetic problem. Took him down to Harrisburg Hospital along with Medic 6. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. Dropped the medic off at Sheetz and headed back to the station. Helped Sue with her paperwork, and then headed home. Listened to the race on my way home and watched the end of it at home here. Eating a slight snack, and will be hitting the sack soon.

Long day

Went over to Sue's last night and had a blast watching the movie, hope to do it again soon. Left her house around 23:30 hours and got home around 23:50 hours. Had a glass of milk and got on and finished uo some email and went to bed around 01:30 hours. Got up this morning around 10:07 hours, ate breakfast, read the paper, and watched a little tv. After that I got changed and headed on into the "Barn" to help set up for tonight. Got in there and Bill, Dohn, and Carol were already in there. Helped them set up tables and place things on the tables, and then left there around 12:30 hours. Came home and got on the PS2 and played until 16:30 hours. Ate lunch around 14:00 hours while I played. Got in there and helped with the turkey and other things. Got to eat dinner around 20:30 hours and then we had to set up for a 50th wedding anviersery tomorrow. Did that along with Bill, Dohn, Carol, Sue, Viv, and Gary. Left the shed around 22:00 hours and headed on home. Got home and had a glass of milk and a small snack and watched the end of the Busch Race. Going to be checking my email and surfing the net for a little but. Then I am going to hit the sack, got another long day ahead of me tomorrow.

Early morning

While I was still doing my email last night around 01:00 hours. At 01:12 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Jackson Township. I got dressed qucikly and headed into the "Barn". Met up with Scott there and we took 13-2 and off we went. Got on the scene and Medic 6 released him to BLS and we took him on down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed down there and came on home. Got my times and showed Scott how to view his Con-Ed creidts online. After that I headed on home and went to bed. Around 08:28 hours the pager rocked me out of bed for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Got dressed and headed on into the station. Got behind a bus on my way in which delayed me a few minutes. Met Carol at the station and we took 13-2 an off we went. Got on the scene and got the guy in the back of the uint and Medic 6 showed up and we took him on down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. Got back to the station and Bill was there. Got my times, and did my two tripsheets. My father stopped in on his way home and the three of us talked for a little bit. Finished up in there and came on home and got on the PS2 and played until 17:00 hours. Ate lunch while I played. Took a shower and just finished eating dinner. Going to get ready soon to head on over to Sue's house to watch "Ladder 49" with her and amanda. Will be back on when I get home. Tooth pick in a hand

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:45 hours. Got changed and ate breakfast, read the paper, and watched a little tv. Around 10:45 hours the pager went off for a traumatic injury at Camp Hebron, Halifax Township. Got my boots on and got in the car and headed for Dohn and Carol's house. Got there and me and Dohn went responding and picked Bill up at the station. Got on the scene and the kid had a tooth pick punctured in his hand. Got him loaded and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. Go what we needed down there and headed home. Stopped at Super Sheetz and picked up lunch. We then dropped Bill off at the station and Dohn took me out to pick up my car. Got my car and went into Giant and picked up milk and ice tea, then went back to the "Barn". Wrote a letter up to Lake Tobias, and did a few other things that I needed to do while I ate lunch. After that was all done, I headed on home, and got on the PS2 and played until 22:00 hours tonight. Ate dinner while I played and them Dohn picked my dad up so they could go to County Council meeting tonight. Getting ready to hit the email and surf the net. Racing all day

Went to bed last night around 01:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:20 hours. Ate breakfast, read the paper, and watched a little tv. While I did that my father ordered the DSL line for in at the "Barn". I got on the PS2 around 11:30 hours and did not get off until 20:30 hours tonight. Ate lunch while I played on the PS2 and listened to the many calls we had today. Played NASCAR all day long. My mother came home and I helped her bring in the groceries that she bought, then went back to the PS2. Ate dinner while I played and then changed into unifrom to cover for my father tonight. That's so small

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning around 08:40 hours when the pager went off for a fall person. Got out of bed and ate breakfast, read the paper, and watched a little tv. After that I got dressed and me and my mother ran what we did not sell from the yard sale up to goodwill and dropped it off and came home. Got home and got on the computer until it was time to leave for my father's operation. Around 11:30 hours the surgery center called and asked if we could come in early since the doctor had a delay in his scehdule. We said yes and off we went. Got down there and waited in pre-op for about 2 hours before he went back. While he was back, me and my mother webt over to Best Buy and I got my nes PS2 with my voucher I got today. Went back and picked him up and headed on home. When I got home, I set up my new PS2 and ate dinner and headed on into the "Barn" to get things ready for the meeting. Had the meeting and did the minutes tonight. Left the shed around 22:20 hours nad headed on up to Giant to pick up a few things and got a milk shake from McDonald's. Headed on home and finsihed my milk shake. Just finsihed taking a shower and will be going to bed soon after I check my email. Will be on the PS2 most of the dat tomorrow.

What the hell is going on?

Around 19:35 hours last night the pager went off for a phyhsicatric person in Halifax Township. Me and my dad got in the unit and off we went. We got on the scene, followed shortly by Medic 6-1 and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed and headed on home. Dropped the medic off to pick up his squad and went back to the "Barn" Got my times and changed the one D Tank and then we headed home. Got home and finished checking my email and went to bed around 01:00 hours. Got up this morning around 09:30 hours and ate breakfast. Got dressed and me and my father took the unit back into the station and I did my tripsheet from last night. After that went to Fisherville's station for the mandatory meeting for the new S.O.G.'s for the company. That meeting lasted for about 1 1/2 hours. Got some equipment from the chief and we came home. I took a shower and ate lunch while I watched the race. Getting ready to run in and pick up a pizza and bring it on home. Will be checking the email and surfing the net. Made some money today

Went to bed last night around 01:40 hours, and got up this morning around 06:40 hours. Got dressed, ate breakfast and watched a little tv. Then got a few things together and me and my father headed on into the "Barn" to meet Josh and finish setting up a few things for the yard sale. Josh showed up and helped him with his stuff. People started comiung in around 08:30 hours and buying things. Things were busy for the first two hours, then it slowed down a lot. Sold quite a few things and made $22.00 in profit from it for myself. Got lunch there and a piece of cake. Around 13:30 hours as things were winding down, the pager went off for abdominal pains in Upper Paxton Township. Me and my dad got in 13-1 and took off. Took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed and headed on back to the shed. By the time we got there, everything was cleaned up and everyone was gone. Did my tripsheet while my dad changed O2 and he pulled my car inside. Brought 13-2 home and went through the yard sale stuff to see what we are giving to good will. Counted out the money and put things away. Slow day

Followed Bill in and helped him set up and then my mother came in. Helper hed unload the stuff and then we set up all of our stuff on the tables. After that I went to Giant and picked up a few things and then came on home. Got home and ate lunch and played on the nintendo. Got off and got a few more things to try and sell tomorrow and then took a shower and ate dinner. Just got back from taking the other stuff we found in and ran into Dohn as we were leaving. Got out of bed, did the 5 minute dance, got dressed and headed on into the shed. Met Dohn there and we hoped in 13-2 and off we went. Got on the scene and met up with Wertz from Medic 6 and took the guy down to Holy Spirit Hospital. Got what we needed down there and headed on home. Took Wertz back out to the squad and dropped him off, then went and got diesel for the unit and I got breakfast. Met Bill back at the station and I ate breakfast, and then worked on the spare first due bag with Bill. After that was done, I headed on home and read the paper, and watched a little tv, then did some more pricing of things to sell. Got on the computer at 15:00 hours and played for a little bit. Took a shower and am getting ready to eat dinner and hit the email and surf the net. After I eat I will be getting ready to go on over to Sue's house to watch Ladder 49 with her and amanda. Slow past two days

Was unable to post last night, due to the blog being down. Went to bed last night around 02:30 and got up this morning around 09:30 hours. Got changed and ate breakfast read the paper, and watched a little tv. After that I went into the station to install the new dome light in 13-1 and put a new battery in the clock in the back of the ambulance. Finished that up and came on home. Came home and got the mail and came inside and started pricing things for the yard sale at the "Barn" this Saturday. Did that for about two hours, while I ate lunch. Then I got on the nintendo and played a little bit, then got back off to clean a few things up and price them. My father came home then and we had dinner. After watching "That 70's Show", me and my father went into the station to pick up the unit and bring home. Got in there and I played solitare while he did a few things on the computer. Viv was there along with the Lion's Club. Kip and Kathy then showed up and brought their things in for the yard sale. I pulled the unit out and and my dad pulled his truck in. Signal 12

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours. Was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:50 hours for an accident with injuries in front of the Clarks Ferry Truck Stop in Reed Township. Got out of bed and quickly got dressed and headed on into the shed. When I was almost there they cancelled us, and I wenr right on by and up to Sheetz and got gas and breakfast, then dropped off two perscriptions at Rite Aid. After that I headed back to the "Barn" to do my two tripsheets from yesterday. Got at the station and Carol was there doing a tripsheet. I had just stepped into the office, when the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Halifax Township. I threw my brekafast on the desk and ran out to the unit followed by Carol and we went responding, along with Medic 6-1 and the fire department. We got on the scene first and went back to the guy and he was beyond any help, so we called a Signal 12, and had county place the medic and the fire department in service as we could handle. Dohn showed up shortly behind the ambulance. Waited for the corner to come up and Bill came out to help move the body. The corner showed up and me and Dohn helped him move the body out of the trailer. After that we went back to the station. I ate breakfast, and then did my tripsheets. Left there and went to Rite Aid and picked up my medication, and came home. I was really looking foward to hanging with Sue and Amanda tomorrow night, but something came up tha I have to attend tomorrow night, so I am hoping to reschedule for later in the week, or next Tuesday. A day to thank volunteers

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this moring around 07:30 hours. Got changed and ate brakfast and me and my dad headed in to Fetterhoff's church for the volunteer apperication Sunday. Got there and Fisherville pulled in behind us with the utility and the engine. Went inside and sat down and then Viv and Gary came in. Got our check and enojyed the service. Took some pictures afterward and then me and my father headed home. I changed and read the paper and watched some tv. Went back to the office around 11:00 hours and played in the nintendo until 12:10 hours. Got off and came out and made lunch and sat down to watch the race. Finished eating lunch and started watching the race, when Deb called and asked if I would cover some time for her. Naturally I said yes. So I went back to my room and changed into my uniform and came back out to watch the race. Around 15:00 hours, the pager went off for a fainting in Wayne Township, with us in place of Medic 6 for BLS. Got my boots on and headed for the car and then to Dohn and Carol's house. Got in the unit and we went responding. Got on the scene and Medic 6-1 arrived a minute later. Loaded her into the ambulance, and I drove the Squad up to Sheetz and then got in the back of the ambulance and we went back on our way. Took the lady down to Hershey Hospital and headed on back home. Dropped the medic off at Sheetz and headed back down to the Halifax Community Fellowship Church for the volunteer apperication dinner. Got there and had a nice turkey and ham dinner. During the dinner the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. My dad, Carol and Bill took 13-1 and went responding, and me and Kim took 13-2 and went responding. County advised us that they were going to keep 13-2 in quarters at this time, so we went availabe and went back inside and finished eating. Had desert of home made vinallia ice cream and chochoate cake with peanut butter icing. Me and Dohn then got cake and ice cream for the three on the call and started back to the "Barn" in 13-2, when the pager went off for a traumatic injury in Halifax Township. We went responding and met up with Scott on the scene. Gave him the cake and ice cream to take back to the station and oput in the freezer, while we took the gilr down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed and headed on home. Got to the shed and Sue was there doing her two tripsheets. Talked with her, Dohn, Carol, Bill, and my dad for a little bit, and then my dad took the uint home for the night. I got a ride with Dohn and Carol out to thier house and picked up my car and came home. Took a shower and ate a late night snack. Going to hit the sack soon, had a long day, and got a day ahead of me tomorrow.

Two days for the price of one

Went to bed Thursday night around 02:00 hours. Carol called me around 09:00 hours and said that they were ready in at the station. So I got up and got changed and grabbed a coffee cake and headed on in. Just as I was to the station, the pager went off for a fainting at Denny's Lennies in Halifax Township. Pulled in and parked and got in 13-1. Carol came out and started it up and I waited for Dohn. Dohn showed up and I put us responding. Got on the scene and cancelled the medic and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed down there and started home. As we were going down front street in Susquehanna Township, there was a call for chest pains in Dauohin Boroughm that county wanted to send MICU 1-4, who was in Cumberland County to. We advised county that we would be closer and that we would handle the call along with Medic 7-8. Turned on the lights and headed to Dauphin. Met up with Medic 7-8 and took the lady to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed again and dropped the medic of in Dauphin, then headed back to the "Barn". Got my times and talked a little with Dohn, Carol, Sue, and Bill. Helped out with the funeral then and helped clean up also. Started setting up for the county firemen's meeting that night, when the pager went off for breathing problems at SLV. Me and Dohn went out to the unit and waited for Sue to show up. Once she showed up and got on baord, we went responding and headed for SLV. Our medic was coming out of the cith, and by the time we got the man out to the ambulance, they were on scene. We cancelled them and rode it down BLS. Got back from that call in time for the county meeting. Did my two tripsheets, than sat in on the county meeting and had dinner afterwards. I had finished dinner, Sue came in and my dad was starting on his second hot sausage, when the pager went off for a fall person in Upper Paxton Township. Carol called in and said that since I was there to just take iot and go, which we did. Took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed and headed on home to the shed. Stopped and put 13-2 back inside and clocked us in, then my dad took 13-1 home and me and Sue followed behind him shortly. Read the comics when I got home and talked to my mother a little bit, and then took a shower and went to bed.

Dohn and Carol took it, it was in Mifflin Township and they went to Lewisburg Hospital. Ate breakfast and read the paper and then got changed and went outside to start cleaning out the shed. Cleaned up a lot of my old toys that I am going to try and sell this Saturday at the flea market at the "Barn" Spent about 5 hours doing that and then came inside and took a shower, since I am on call tonight. Eating dinner now and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight, so give a buzz if you want to talk.

Was getting ready for bed again last night around 00:20 hours, when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Borough. Got dressed again and went out to the unit, followed by my father, and we want responding. Got on the scene and did our assessment and then MICU 6-5 showed up on the scene. The medic rode along down and we took her to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed there and headed on home. Dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed to get my times and log the call in. After I did that we headed home again. Got home and put the unit to bed, then went to bed myself. Got up this morning around 11:10 hours, and got changed into my uniform. I then headed into Giant and picked up a few things for my mother and got lunch for me. I then went to the "Barn". Met Bill there and I started my two trip sheets. Dohn and Carl showed up and Dohn went for an oxygen run, while we set tables up for tomorrow. Finished doing that while Dohn came back, then we helped him unload the oxygen tanks. Did a few things in the office and then headed home. Took a shower and am now eating dinner and getting ready to hit the email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight, give a buzz if you want to talk.

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours this morning. Got up at 10:00 hours and changed into my uniform, then ate breakfast, watched some tv and read the paper. Got on the computer around 12:00 hours and did some work. Around 12:50 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Borough. Got in my car and took off for the station. While I was enroute to the station, Carol called me and told me to go to the scene. So I went to the scene and met up with Carol and Bill. Also Scott was on the scene to help. The guy turned out to be Paul. Took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got our things down there and headed back to the "Barn". Took care of a few things there and headed on home. I had just gotten out of my car at the house, when the pager went off for breathing problems in Millersburg. Got back in the car and wetn back into the station. Met up with Carol and headed on up to Millersburg. Got up there and met up with Medic 6 and took this guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. Dropped him off there and started heading home. As we were coming out of Harrisburg, we got hit for a call in for seizures in the Borough of Dauphin. We went responding on that and got on the scene. While we were on the scene, 12's unit showed up and we let them handle it. Headed on up over the mountain, and dropped Jim off and then went back to the station. Got my times and my dad took 13-1 home. I then headed home. Eating dinner now, and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. WIll be on late, give a buzz if you want to talk.

Busy, Busy Day

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours. Around 06:37 hours this monring the pager went off for chest pains in Upper Paxton Township. 20 got out a minute later and we were cancelled, so I squechled the pager and went back to bed. Then at 07:03 hours the pager went off for a nose bleed in Millersburg. Carol called right away and asked if I could go since Dohn was sick, and I said yes. So I quickly got dressed and headed on into the station. Met up with Carol and Bill and away we went. Took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital and came on back home. Stopped at Sheetz and got breakfast, and then went back to the "Barn" to put my time in and eat breakfast. Stayed there for about half an hour, and then headed on home. Watched a little tv and read the paper, and then was sitting in the living room talking to my mother when the pager went off for Breathing Problems in Halifax Township. Said good-bye and got in my car and headed to Carol's house since she had just brought the unit home. Met Bill there and off we went. Got on the scene and met up with Tony and we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were heading to the hospital, we got hit for a second call for breathing problems at Station 29 in Halifax Township. QRS 6-8 took the Pt. and met up woth Medic 1-7 from the city and they came to Harrisburg Hospital also. Came back home and stopped at the shed to restock and get times. Then we headed back out to Carol's house to pick up our cars. Just as we turned onto their road, the pager went off for a sick person in the Borough of Elizabethville. We went responding right away. Got up there and took the guy back down to Holy Spirit Hospital. While we were waiting for the buffer sheet at Holy, our pagers went off for an accident with injuires in Halifax Township, in front of Dohn and Carol's house. Quickly got in the unit and we headed on up that way, but no one was transported. Went back to Dohn and Carol's house and picked up our vehicle's and then headed back into the station. Put a new M tank in 13-2 and logged my times in, and my dad stopped and took 13-2 home. Came home, took a shower and am eating dinner now. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Oh what these eyes have seen...

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and my mother woke me up around 07:00 hours this moring, because there was something the matter with out cat April. I came out to the living room and we talked about what was wrong, and we decided that my mother should run her up to the vets when they opened up. I got changed and ate breakfast. I then helped put April in her cage and then my mother took her up to the vets to be checked out. They got back home around 10:30 hours. Our little girl was ok, she has some arthrities in her back, a slight problem with her liver, and an over-active thyroid, which she is on medication for all three. Read the paper and watched a little tv. Then I got on my computer to do some work and eat lunch. Bill got on and I was talking to him. Then Scott got on and he told me that there was a brush fire in Halifax Township, but we do not respond on them, unless the fire department needs us. A few minutes later, Millersburg got tapped out for an accident with injuries with a head on collison. I got my boots on incase we would get called to it, and we did. So I headed on into the shed and before we got there they cancelled us. So me, Bill, and Carol were standing outside talking when we heard 29's house siren go off, followed by our pagers. It was for a strucutre fire in Millersburg Borough. We went responding right away and stood by for about 1 hour. We had just backed the unit into the "Barn" and I had gone back to the office to get my times, when we were tapped out for an Accident with injuries involving a motorcycle, and the motorcyclist was under the van. Went responding right away and got on scene. In five minutes he went down hill. When we pulled up, he went into cardiac arrest and five minutes later, we called it. Stayed there until everything was sorted out and then headed back to the station. Got my times and me and Bill went up to McDonald's and got dinner and headed back to the station and I did my paper work for my two calls. Sue then stopped in and we talked about the accident. She then left and I finished up around 22:00 hours. Headed up to Sheetz and got gas, and then headed home. Took a shower and just finished eating my snack. Got a few things to do, then I am hitting the sack it has been a long day.

Your dancing days are over

Around 01:30 hours last night I was getting ready to get off the internet and go to bed. But alas, once again I did not make it into my bed. The pager went off for a Pedistrian Struck up at The Mountain House. I put my boots on and my father came out of the bed room and we went responding since we had the uint at the house. Got up there and MICU 6-3 had just got on the scene and we placeing him on the board. Guy was in an extreme amount of pain from his left leg. Took him down to Harrisburg Hospital with an obvious compound fracture of his tibula/fibula. Took him in and they took an x-ray of this leg. Me, my dad and Steve Boyer the medic got to look at the x-ray. Man was his tibula/fibula ever shattered to bits, and this was a hit and run. Came on back to the "Barn" and got my times and my dad did a few things until 06:00 hours and then we wennt home. When we left it was snowing, SNOWING, in April. Boy was it hard to see to drive. Came home and went to bed around 06:30 hours. Got up around 11:30 hours and took a shower. Got dressed and headed on into town. Went to Rite Aid and got some more halls and something for lunch, then headed back to the shed to do my paperwork, from the fire call yesterday and the call this morning. Came home then and watched the rest of the race, then sat down to eat dinner. Just finished watching "Ladder 49" A very excently movie, which I would highly recommend. Oh Oh a structure fire

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours. Just as I had fallen asleep, around 02:00 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg. My dad got up and took off for Dohn and Carol's house since they had the unit. He got as far as the end of creek drive, when Millersburg went responding and we were cancelled, so he came on back home and went back to bed and so did I. Got back up this morning around 08:30 hours when the pager went off for a nose bleed in Reed Township. Got out of bed and quickly got dressed and we took my car to Dohn and Carol's and picked up the unit. Dohn and Carol then took my car into the station and parked it inside. Picked Bill up at the High School and continued on our way. Got to the house and took the lady down to Holy Spirit Hospital. Dropped her off and headed on back to the "Barn". Dropped Bill off to pick up his truck and then headed back to the shed. Pulled my car and pulled the unit in and my dad transmitted the tripsheets, while I did a few things. Left Bill alone to do his tripsheet and headed on home. Got home and read the paper, and then got on the computer and played a little. Ate lunch and watched to see if they were going to run the Busch race, and of course they did not, because it was raining at Bristol. So went back and played some more, then came back out when I heard that the Pope had died. God rest his blessed soul. After a little bit went back and got back on the computer. Ate dinner and had just closed my game out and went out to the kitchen and got my dad another plate of his dinner, when the pager went off for a structure fire in Jackson Township. Since we had the unit at home, we responded right away. We arrived on the scene right behind Engine 19 and Chief 29-2. Stagged out on Mountain House Road, since it was a single dirt lane back to the house. Fire turned out to be a chimney fire that had set a small part of the roof on fire. Action on my day off

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours. The pager went off at 07:45 hours this morning for a sick person at SLV, which, Dohn, Carol and Bill took since it was my day off. Listend to it for a little bit, and then squelched it and went back to sleep. I then got up at 10:07 and ate some toast and watched tv. I then read the paper, and got on the computer and played while I ate lunch. Then the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I put my game on pause, and quickly got changed and headed to the scene. I believe I hit 90 M.P.H. as I passed Kiner's heading on in. Then I got behind the slowest person ever as he pulled out from the station and never pulled over for me. Then we came to the intersectoin of 4th and Market Streets, what a nightmare. Sat there for about 4 minutes until someone finally let me go and I continued on my way. After this bozo pulled over, I got behind a few more people who would not move over. As we came upon Denny's I pulled over into the center turning lane and blew past all of them. Got to the scene and helped them load the lady into the ambulance and off Dohn, Carol, and Bill went. Moved Bill's truck to the parking lot of Baker's and then went back to the "Barn" to pick Scott up and take him to his truck at Willits, after he had taken 13-2 back to the shed. Dropped him off and then headed on home and got back on the computer. My father then came home and UPS dropped off more supplies at the house. So I took them in to the shed and stopped at Giant and picked up a few things. Took a shower and am getting ready to eat dinner and to check my email and surf the net.
