A Day of Pratice
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 10:50 hours for a fall person in Jackson Township. Got out of bed and got dressed and headed into the shed. Passed Dohn heading to the scene while I was heading in. Got to the station and met up with Bill and Carol. Got on the scene and Dohn was there. Took the lady down to Harrisburg Hospital. Got what we needed down there and headed on home to the "Barn". Got there in time to meet up with Marshal for him to install the county box onto the computer. Once he got there I headed on up to Sheetz and got gas and lunch, then headed down to Rite Aid and picked up a mothers day card, and then stopped at Long's and ordered my mother a fruit basaket to be delivered tomorrow to the house. After that I headed on back to the station and heled set up for the wedding tomorrow. After that I headed in and did my paper work from last nights call for breathing problems in Halifax Borough, and ate lunch. After that I talked to Sue for a little bit, then headed on home. Once home I did a little computer work, took a shower and ate dinner and then headed back into the station to do some EMT class work with Amanda and her partener. Bill came and helped out for a little bit, but then had to leave. While we were pratcing, we got a call for an allergic reaction in Halifax Township. Our class was abruptley adjourned for the evening as me and Sue headed on out to the scene. Got there and my dad and Carol showed up in 13-1 and Medic 6 showed up. The guy decided not to go down as he was not having a sever reaction. Took Sue back out to the station to clean up from class and the four of us talked for a little bit. Then took Sue back out to her house and we talked for about almost two hours at her house. I hope that we can really help Amanda and her partner make it through the pratical, as it is obvious that she will not be getting the help at school. Oh well, doing a few thing online, then going to hit the sack, pulling a 24 tomorrow.
