POP! SMASH! Goes the window

Around 21:55 hours last night the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. Since the on-duty crew for the night was already out, and I was already dressed I headed on in. I was able to get ahould of Scott and I met him at the station and we jumped in 13-1 and off we went. Got on the scene and the Medic 6 showed up and we took the guy down to Hershey Hospital. Got home and had a piece of my birthday cake and finished up my email and then went to bead around 01:30 hours. Got up this morning around 10:30 hours and got changed and ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. Around 11:45 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Millersburg Borough, at the Health Center. Got my boots on and got in my car and off I went. I had just passed Dohn and Carol's house when Ambulance 20-2 went back inservice and went responding, and we were cancelled. So I turned off my blue light and continued on into Giant and picked up some milk and ice tea, then went back to the "Barn". At the shed I did my paperwork from the call last night. Bill then showed up followed by Marshall. Marshall installed the county equipment. He finished and then Bill showed me the program for a little bit. Around 15:00 hours, I headed for home. When I got home my mother told me she had some news about vacation. She said that the hotel where we are staying at called my brother today. SHe told me that they asked him if he wanted a room beside Jean Hocker (my grandmother) and he said yes. They asked him if he wanted to go with the penthouse suite for the same price as the two rooms. Of course he said yes and then they told him about the room. It has a full sized living room, a kitchen with a dinning table that can seat 10 people, two bedrooms with two queen size beds in each one, two bathrooms (one for each bedroom), and a balcony with our own personel 4 person jacuzzi. So now I am really looking foward to going down. Anyway, so my father then came home and we went up to Hoffmans and picked up the mower now that it was done. We put it in the back of my fathers truck and he placed the cargo bar across the bed of his truck and made sure it was secure and off we went. Well, as we turned onto Sally Ann Drive, which is an incline, the mower shifted backwards, knocking the cargo bar lose and proceeded to strike the back window of the cap, busting it out. So when we got home we spent about an hour cleaning it up and covering my dads window up. After that we ran into the shed and picked up the unit and brought it out to the house here. Just finished eating dinner and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight so give a buzz if you want to talk. And rememberl, only two more days until my BIRTHDAY!
