My Daily Thoughts

Around 01:00 hours last night our weather radio went off for a tornado warning in Cumberland County. With that we went out and watched the news channels as they were following the strong system moving through the valley. I hope that Amanda faired ok out her way, cause I know they got more rain and wind then we did. I went to bed around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got dressed and heaed into town. I stopped at Giant and picked up 2 gallons of diet iced tea for myself and then headed for the station. Once at the station, I logged my time in and then walked 20 laps around the inside of the bays. After that I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. Around 13:55 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Upper Paxton Township. I got in my car and headed into the station. Dohn was already there sitting in 13-1 waiting for me. I pulled in and got in the unit and off we went. We got put there and medic 6 was already there. We got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic of at his uint in Millersburg and then we headed back to the "Barn". When we got back there, I logged my time in and then I headed on home. I stopped by the hose house as they were out front playing with the foam on the tanker. I talked to Bubba fo a few minutes and then headed on home. Once at home I finished reading the paper and then had dinner. Me and my father headed in to the shed around 18:55 hours to pick up the unit and bring it home. Just finished watching the end of "Trauma, Life in the ER". I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

The wrath of Katrina
Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then went into the bathroom. While I was in there, the pager went off for back pains in Upper Paxton Township. Dohn, Carol and Bill headed to the station, got in 13-1 and off they went. I listened to the med pager and also grabbed the fire pager and then I got on the computer and on the net around 11:30 hours to do some surfing. I made lunch around 13:00 hours. It was another light lunch like yesterday. I have been watching the news channels and following the damage that Katrina has left behind. It is just som over whelmeing to see all th damage. Also to see that New Orleans has water coming into it from the Mississippi River along with coming up from the ground and into the city. It is hard to believe that 80% of the city is under water to varrying heights. New Orelans is really being devisated with the flooding, whilt Alabama and Mississippi all have major wind damage. I believe that it will be many months maybe even a few years until things are back to normal in all of these states. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this powerful storm. I am getting ready to eat dinner soon and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy laides want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
CAFS Training
Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and went over to the bathroom and weighed myself this morning. I was surprised at what the scale said. I weigh only 272 pounds. A lot lighter then I thought I weighed. After that I got changed and had a small lunch. I then watched some TV and then got on the internet to do soem surfing of the net. I ate dinner around 17:00 hours and then around 18:10 hours I got dressed and headed on up to the hose house for CAFS training tonight. It was a very quiet day today with no ambulance calls taking place. Up at the hose house, Bubba brought me his bunker pants for me to try on and they fit me. I got them all setteled in the trunk of my car and then went into the fire hall for class. The lecture lasted around 1-1/2 hours. After that we went outside and moved the apparatus around and played with the CAFS some. Training for tomorrow night had been canceled so our instructor can get back to North Carlonia. I left there around 22:45 hours and headed on home. I just finished taking a shower and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net some more. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

My Health Kick
After talking to Sue last night about santa coming up in about 3 months, I decided to get out the suit and try it on. I was relieved to find that it still fits me at this time. However, I still have almost 3 months to go before I need to use it. So with that in mind, I have decided to start watching my weight. I have started a program of scaling back my food portions and excerising every day now. I discussed it with my mother and I have her backing and support for me on this. I am also hoping to get the help and support of my friends. With that in mind I was able to go to sleep around 02:20 hours. I got up this morning around 11:00 hours and I took a shower, then made lunch and read the paper. I then watched some TV with my father. While I was watching TV, I laid on the floor and did some excersises. I then got on the PS2 for about 45 minutes, then I got off to clean my room. I spent about 2 hours cleaning up various places in my room. My mother then came home around 17:30 hours and I helped bring in 4 cases of water. I then went outside and walked 10 laps around the driveway and then moved my car. I am now eating dinner and am on call for my father tonight. I am getting ready to check my email and surf the net. To my night crew Bill and Sue, incase I forget to tell you guys tonight, tomorrow night and Tuesday night I have training with Fisherville in the evening, so I do not know what time I will be on. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy laides want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Quiet day of Football
Went to bed last night around 01:50 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours when the phone rang. I got changed and ate brekafast and read the paper. After that I got on the PS2 and played for a little bit. I then went outside around 13:00 hours to help my father with cleaning out the shed. About 20 minutes later our one friend showed up with his farm tractor and helped pull out the stumps from the bushes we had removed last month. I stayed out and helped until 14:20 hours and then I came inside to get cleaned up. I left the house around 15:30 hours and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Bill was already there in the office. Dohn then pulled in shortly after that and I got in the unit and turned the siren on to get Bill's attention. He came out and got in and we headed into town. We stopped at Sheel first and got disiel and then we headed back to the school and parked the unit up by the field and setteled in for the long evening ahead of us. I got out and got something to eat and got back in the unit. About 45 minutes after we were there, a lady from Williams French Fries came over and she had a bloody nose. We checked her out and put a band-aid on her nose and off she went. We were there until around 22:00 hours. We left there and headed back to the shed. I logged my time in for the day and then headed to Giant to pick up some milk. I then headed on home and watched the last 20 laps of the race at Bristol. I am getting ready to check my email and surf the net for a little bit. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy laides want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Twice in One Week
Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and around 06:00 hours this morning, the pager went off for a call in Millersburg. I listened to the pager as today was my day off. Dohn and Carol got out with 13-1. Smoehow I feel asleep with the pager in the bed. Then around 10:30 hours the pager went off for a headache in Millersburg Borough. I woke up and started getting ready to go. As I was going to put my socks on, I stopped and thought to myself, what am I doing, today is my day off. So I laid back down in bed and listened to the call. Dohn, Carol, and Bill took off in 13-1. As they were coming into Millersburg, they came upon an accident and called it into county. Chief 20-C went down to the accident to check it out. She then asked for a BLS truck for a sign off. The pager went off to assist at the accident. I layed in bed knowing that we would not get the second unit out. QRS 6-7 said that they would go down and do the sign off, so we were cancelled. After him being on scene for about 1 minute, he called county and asked them to send him a transporting BLS truck. The pager went off again to assist at the accident. Carol called and asked if I was available and I said that I was and she said that Dohn was going to drop her off at the "Barn" and I was to meet her there. So I got out of bed and got dressed and went out into the kitchen to get my hat and keys, when 6-7 came on and said that the Pt. was going down by POV, so we were placed in service. I got out of uniform, got dressed, and then hepled my mother load the car up for a trip to the receyling bins. We headed on in. We dropped the stuff off there and then went up to Giant to pick up a few things. As I was in line paying, the pager went off for another call in Upper Paxton Township. We had passes 20 coming home while we were heading into the store so I knew that we would be cancelled, and I was right. Me and my mother then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then made lunch and ate that while I played on the PS2 some NASCAR Thunder 2004. I had the fire pager over to listen to it since I had the day off. Around 14:50 hours Dauphin was tapped out for smoke from a structure. Tanker 29 headed down that way. They got cancelled. Then around 15:10 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. Dohn, Carol, and Bill went on that with 13-1. I found out that my father also stopped at the scene to help. While I was listening to that, the fire pager went off for a electrical fire at the post office in Halifax Borough. I quickly got dressed and got in my car and headed for the hose house. I got up there and there was one guy there before me. I got my gear on and opened both bay doors up. All we needed now was a driver for the engine. I put my boots in the back of the engine and then Jason pulled in. He said that we were taking the engine. I got in the officers seat and we went responding. So I got to work the good old Federal Q and the air horns. We got in there and it was traced to the lights. We were there for about maybe 30 minutes and the box was placed in service. So we headed back to the station. After we got there, I talked a little and then I headed on home. Once at home I ate a quick dinner and then headed into town, I stopped at the shed and dropped off the nasal's and then headed for the school. I got there and found out that the band was not playing at this game. So I decided to sit with the units during the game. I sat there and talked with Sue and Bill. We left there around 21:20 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

You were dicking around
Around 01:47 hours last night the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township at Camp Hebron. I started getting dressed and I heard my father getting dressed. About 1 minute later, the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township. We got in my fathers truck and we headed on into the station. We got there and we parked in got in 13-1 and went responding. We advised county that we would take the unconscious person and that our second unit would take the chest pains on Camp Hebron Road. We got there and MICU 6-3 was on the scene with Flipper. We got her loaded up and into the back of the unit and MICU 6-7 showed up. We took one of their guys and put him on MICU 6-3 to drive that unit down to Hershey, Flipper went with us, and MICU 6-7 with two paramedics took the chest pains, and put MICU 1-1 in service. We pulled out to head to Harrisburg Hospital and I saw that MICU 1-1 was behind us. They followed us the whole way down to the Hospital incase we needed there help. We didn't, though, Flipper did end up tubing the lady and I bagged her. While we were getting our info, 13-2 pulled up and parked and out came Dohn and Carol with the two medics from 6. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We dropped Flipper off at the unit and then we headed on back to the "Barn". Once there, I logged our times in, and we restocked what we used. After that we headed on home. Once at home, I got changed and flopped down in bed and fell asleep right away. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:00 hours for a traumatic injury in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed, got dressed, took my medication, got my boots on, got in my car and headed for the station. As me and Dohn were pulling in, the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Borough. We got in 13-1 with Bill and we took off for the unconscious person, and let Medic 6 handle the class 3 call. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital with Medic 6 on board. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. The medic went back up with 6-7. As we turned on to Front Street, right in front of Wendy's and the Jade, we saw a minor accident there. So we stopped and advised county of our location, and what the situration was. We got out and Dohn and Bill checked the people out and I checked the vehicles out. I advised county that the right lane was closed and that we would need a tow truck out there. Police got on the scene and I confrenced with them and we both agreeded that we needed the fire department out there for spill clean up. So Engine 37-1 showed up then and they took care of the spills and the one vehicle that was still running, but non-driveable. While we were there, the tones went off for bleeding in Millersburg Borough at the Health Center. We advised county that we were still on the accident scene and to go next due. Shortly after that we headed on back up through. We got back to the "Barn", and I logged my time in and then did my tripsheet from this morning. After that I ran up to Sheetz and got gas and something for lunch. After that I stopped at Giant and picked up some iced tea and then I headed back to the shed. I ate lunch there and I looked up a few things. I then left for home. Once at home I read the paper and watched a little tv. Around 15:00 hours I got on the PS2 and played some NASCAR Thunder 2004. My father then came home, and we played head to head on the PS2. Around 18:00 hours we got off and I ate dinner while I watched tv. I then watched "Trauma, Life in the ER". Around 19:40 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough. I got in my car and headed into the station. I got to Kiners and 20-1 got out and we were placed in service. I stopped at the station and logged my time in for the rest of today. I then headed on home. I stopped at the hose house and talked to Bubba for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I watched a little more tv. I went off duty at 21:00 hours and took a shower, and then ate a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Engine 216, go set up a fill site
Around 00:33 hours last night the pager went off for a structure fire in Halifax Township. I was not working last night so I started to get my socks on when I heard the house siren go off. I quickly finished getting dressed, ran by my father, got in my car and sped off for the hose house. I got there and was the first one there. I took my hat off, popped my trunk, got out of the car, went around to the trunk and started getting my gear on. About that time Robbie came walking across the yard and unlocked the station and opened the bay doors up. Bruce pulled in about that time. They got their gear on and I got in the back of the engine, cause dave pulled in. Bruce took the tanker and I was on the engine with Robbie and Dave. We pulled out with the tanker taking the lead. We went responding and were on our way. As we were heading in, Dave was putting on his SCBA and I was concentrating on what I may be asked to do. We got to the scene and they told us to drop our manpower and go set up fill site at Masser & Smeltz. So we dropped Dave off and Robbie decided to keep me with him to help set up the fill site. We got there and I helped him set up and we only filled one tanker. The fire was contained to the bedroom and was electrical in nature. After they told us to break down, I helped we pack the hose and then we stopped and got disiel for all three units. After that we went back to the station. I helped clean up the hose and make sure everything was back in place. I then left there around 03:50 hours and got home around 04:00 hours. I then took a shower as I smelled of smoke and finally got to bed around 04:30 hours this morning. I g ot to sleep in this morning and got up around 12:05 hours. I got up, got dressed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then wactched a little tv. Around 13:10 hours the pager went off for an AFA in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for the station. Just as I was getting close to the station, they placed us in service. I turned around at the station and headed on back home. I got home and finished watching tv. I then got on the PS2 for a little bit abd I ate dinner while I played. I then got off and watched the news, "That 70's Show" and then "Trauma, Life in the ER" I the ngot on the internet around 20:00 hours. Around 20:25 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got in my car and headed into the station. I got out of my devlopment, when 20 said that they would handle. So I turned around and headed on home. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Scoop it Up
Around Midnight last night, me and my mother headed into town. I stopped at the "Barn" to log my time in for yesterday and then I showed her our house on I/Net Viewer, then I showed her my grandparents house. After that we headed into Giant. We got out of there around 01:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home we brought the food in and then I finished up my email and then went to bed around 02:58 hours. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 10:00 hours for a fall person in at Polk Assisted living in Millersburg Borough. I got out of bed, got dressed and headed for the station. I met up with Dohn and Bill there and we got in 13-1 and off we went. Our medic was coming out of the city. We got up there and assessed her and we decided that we did not need the medic and we cancelled him at this time. We loaded her up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down therem we headed on home. As we were coming home, we were listening to the fire that was taking shape in Hershey. We stopped at Shell and got disiel and then we headed back to the shed. I logged my times in and then I took a quick look at a few things online, then I headed on home. Once home I made lunch and sat down to eat lunch and read the paper. After I finished eating lunch, I watched "The Cosby Show". My mother then came home and we talked some. We were sitting there talking, when I heard the UPS man pull up and back in the driveway. I went outside and he gave me the new scopp stretchers. I brought them in the house and then my father came home and we took a loot at them. I then loaded them into my car and headed into the shed. I stopped at Dohn's to show them to Dohn and Carol. They both liked them. I then went into the shed and marked the straps and then put them in the units. After that I headed on home. Once at home, I ate dinner, and then took a shower. I just finished watching "Trauma, Life in the ER". Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Sue when you get on I need to ask you about those braclet's. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Hey, Look, It's a Parade
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed, got changed, ate breakfast and read the paper. After I was done, I went back and got on the PS2 and played NASCAR 2004. I then made lunch around 13:00 hours. Then around 14:15 hours, the pager went off to assist Medic 6 with a sick person in Wayne Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and off I went. I pulled out onto Armstrong Valley Road in Fisherville and headed to the station. As I came around the turn by where that new house was built last year, the one where they had the yard sale over the weekend. I saw that Dohn was just passing Rutter Road. I then saw Bill sitting on Rutter, and then he pulled out and got behind Dohn, and then I pulled in behind Bill. It was our own little parade. All three of us had our lights on, Dohn with his two red ones, Bill with his Blue one, and me with my blue one. We all got to the station at the same time and Carol got out of Dohn's truck and then she opened the bay door up and we got in 13-1 and off we went. We were called to help 6 with lifting. We got there and MICU6-8 was there along with Medic 6-1. Then Engine 19 showed up and we got the guy out of the window and on to Medic 6's stretcher and then loaded him into the back of their ambulance, and off they went. We went available and returned to the station. I then headed on home and got back on the PS2. I ate dinner around 17:15 hours, and then I got off at 18:00 hours and took a shower. I then watched "Trauma, Life in the ER" and "Impact, Stories of Survial". I finished eating my snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Around midnight tonight me and my mother are going into Giant to do some grocery shopping. I will be on after I get back, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

I then got dressed and left the house around 08:45 hours and headed on up to the fire house. I got up there, and no one was there yet. So I sat in my car until Bubba came over and then I got out. For training today, we discussed inncident command, then we talked about a couple of fire lately and how the inncident command was used at those fires. We then went over how to operate a SCBA. And then we discussed the CAFS training next Monday and Tuesday that I am planning to attend. Then while I was sitting there, the pager went off for a call in Elizabethville. Millersburg got out on that and we were placed in service. Some time later the pager went off again for a sick person in Halifax Township. My dad went responding and we heard him come through Fisherville. We wrapped up around 12:50 hours. I then headed on home and one at home I read the comics and took a shower. I then made lunch and sat down to watch the race. Scott called my cell phone and asked if I could cover for him a little bit, as he was just leaving camp and he was not sure if he would make it back in time to go on at 18:00 hours. I of course said yes, and then went back to watching the race. I am eatin dinner right now and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonigh, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Today's Special is Abdominal Pains
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 04:20 hours for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in 13-1 with my father and off we went. We picked up Sue at the firehouse and then continued onto the scene. We got down there and the jeep was sitting along the side of the road, and the tractor trailer was further up the road. The driver was gone, no where to be found. We stayed there until PSP got back to us if they had found the guy at his house on Million Dollar Road. Apparently, the guy hit one telephone pole, wrecked, pulled the keys and left the scene. Some time later the semi came along and plowed into the car which then hit another telephone pole. We went available then, dropped Sue off at her truck and then stopped at the "Barn" and logged our times in and got Sue her times. We then went home and I went back to bed around 06:45 hours. I got back up around 12:05 hours. I got changed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched Qualifiying for tomorrow's race. Around 02:30 hours the pager went off for Abdominal Pains in Wayne Township. I got my boots on and we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and I cancelled Medic 6 and we loaded him up and took him down to Osteo. After we got what we needed down there, we started for home. As we were pulling out, Company 9 got dispatched for a fall person at the Great Wall Restuarant, which was right above the hospital. We headed that way and got there, the same time that Medic 9-4 did. The lady did not want to go to the hospital, even though she should have. We got her refusal and then we headed on home. I did my two tripsheet at the shed and then we headed on home. We were home for a little bit doing some things outside, when the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Township. We got our radios and got in the rig and off we went. We got there and once again we cancelled Medic 6. We loaded her up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We stopped at the station and I did my tripsheet and logged our times. We then headed home. I am eating dinner right now and amd getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Happy Birthday Bill
Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and then around 04:50 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. Dohn and Scott took the call. I reset the pager and went back to sleep. Then around 07:07 hours, I was rocked out of bed when the pager went off for a fainting in Jackson Township. I got dressed and got in my car and met Dohn at the church in Fisherville. I met him there, got in and off we went. We got out there and talked to the guy and he decided to go see his doctor instead of going down to the hospital. So we got a refusal from him and then Dohn dropped me off at my car. I then headed into the "Barn" and did my tripsheet. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played NASCAR Thunder 2004. Around 13:45 hours the pager went off for a fall person at McDoanld's. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and got in the unit and off we went. We stopped at the shed and picked up Bill and then headed to the scene. We loaded her up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. As we were turning onto Front Street, I heard the tones go off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. We went responding from Front Street and had them hit for our second unit. Medic 6 went responding from Berrysburg and Perry 29 (Duncannon) came over. Dohn hit 76 with the ambulance on the highway, and we almost bet Duncannon to the scene. We pulled up and Duncannon was there, along with the fire department. We pulled in and I got out and started towards the scene. As soon as I got out of the ambulance, my heart skipped a few beats. The car was upside down on it's roof, the girl was screaming at the top of her lungs, and the car was blue. The first thing that entered my mind was Amanda. Amanda drives a blue sports car. My fears were relieved when I went around the back of the car and I saw it said GTO on it. This was not Amanda's car. Life Lion landed and came down to the scene. We loaded her into the back of the ambulance and took her up to the landing zone. We helped the flight crew and then we went back down to the scene. I took some pictures of the vehicle and then we headed back to the shed to clean the unit up. We cleaned the uint up and then went available. I went back to the office and logged my times in and then my father showed up. The four of us got talking and then we all left. Dohn took me back out to my car and then I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and then ate dinner. We then went out and picked the unit up and then we brought it back home. I just finished eating my snack and am getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz. Oh and HAPPRY BIRTHDAY BILL!!!!

A good massage
Around 20:37 hours last night the pager went off for a sick person in Jackson Township. I got in my car and I headed for the station. I met up with Scott in there and off we went. We got out there and we loaded the lady up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. We took her out to triage and then after we got what we needed we headed on home. We stopped at Sue's house before heading back to the station. We stopped there and Sue gave me the three bracelts. I put one on and she was like "you know those are for women." I said yeah I know, but I support cancer research also. So then the three of us talked for about 30 minutes and then we went back to the "Barn". I logged my times in and then I did my tripsheet. It only took me about 10 minutes to do it. After that I headed on home. I then went to bed around 02:00 hours. I got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things. I made lunch around 12:40 hours. I then got dressed around 14:30 hours and then left 5 minutes later to head in for my massage. I got in there and I went in the room and got changed and got on the table. Hello again, Mrs. Hoover
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:05 hours when the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. I got put of bed and I got dressed, took my medications, and then got in my car and headed for Dohn and Carol's house. I got there and Dohn was leaving in the van and Carol put us responding. We got there and we ended up calling Scott to come out and help with lifting. He got there and we splinted the guys leg and we got him loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. We stopped at the high school to met up with the medic. While he was checking the guy out, I saw that the girl's soccoer team was out running laps around the school and they were running RIGHT BY THE UNIT. Oh god I was in heaven. After we got what we needed down at the hospital, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz and I got something to eat for breakfast, and then we stopped at the "Barn" and I logged my time in and pulled my times up. I ate breakfast and then she took me out to my car. I then headed on home and I read the paper, and then I headed back into the shed to do my paperwork. Dohn and Carol showed up and Dohn hung the new bulliten board and Carol did her two tripsheets while I helped Dohn look at the one door leading to the bays. As I was sitting down to do my tripsheet, the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. The three of us got in 13-1 and off we went. We loaded her up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once we got back to the station I did my tripsheet and then I headed on home. Once at home I got on the internet to upload some more pictures. That lasted about maybe 15 minutes when the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for Carol's house. I got there and Bill was pulling in. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and here it was the lady that Medic 6 took down yesterday. We got her loaded up and we took her down to Holy Spirit. While I was outside by the unit waiting for Carol and Bill, Steve came out and we talked a little bit. After we got what we needed we headed on home. We stopped and got disiel and then stopped at the station so I could log my times in. After that Carol took us out to our cars. I am eating dinner right now and am getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Rainny Day
Went to bed last night around 02:15 hours and hot up this morning around 08:10 hours to move my car so my mother could leave to take her car to the garage. I then went back to bed until about 08:45 hours when I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. After that my mother came home and I got dressed and headed into town. I went to Sheetz and got gas and three mountain dews. I then headed back to the "Barn" to do the minutes from last nights meetings. I got there and I pulled 13-2 out of the shed and parked it outside. I drank one of my mountain dews while I typed up the minutes and a letter to the fire department, thanking them for thier hospitality to us at the carnival. I was then getting ready to leave when Bill pulled up and came in. I started talking to him and then the phone rang. I answered and it was Susie. She wanted to let me know that she was going to call an ambulance for her next door neighboor and wanted to give us a heads up. I thanked her and then I told Bill and then grabbed the first due bag from the office and headed into town. I dropped the letter in the mailbox and the pager went off. I then went over and helped Susie out until 13-2 got there with Dohn, Carol, and Bill load her into the ambulance. After that I took the bag back to the shed and then headed on home. Once at home I was talking to my mother when the pager went off for abdominal pains at Harman Stove Company in Jackson Township. I got my shoes on and went back to get my radio when the pager went off again for an unconscious person in Halifax Borough. I got in my car and headed into town for the unconscious person. I got there and there was someone from the fire department on the scene. I got there and took vitals and then the engine showed up along with Medic 6. I helped them out and then headed back to the station. About the time I got there, 13-2 went avaiable and I pulled their times up. I talked woth Bill for a little bit and then they headed out to get something to eat and I headed home. Once at home I made lunch and got on the computer to upload some more pics. I just finished taking a shower and am now eating dinner. I am also getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy laides want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Slow Day
Went to bed last night around 01:00 hours as I was extremly tired from running on only 3 hours sleep yesterday. I got up this morning around 11:10 hours. I got dressed and I read the paper. I then made lunch and got on the computer to upload some more pictures and look at a few websites. Around 17:10 hours the pager went off for breathing problems at SLV in Upper Paxton Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for the station. I just pulled out onto Armstrong Valley Road, when they cancelled us. So I pulled in at Dohn's place and talked with them for a little then Dohn went inside and I turned my car around. Dohn came out and said that I might as well head into the station awhile. So I headed into the station and Bill was already there, sitting in the passenegr seat of 13-1 with it running. I turned the unit off as Dohn was pulling up because I figured that we would not be heading up that way. About that time the pager went off. I got in the back and Dohn got in and we pulled out. We just got out of town when 20 went responding and we were placed in service. So we turned around and we headed back to the "Barn". We got there and Dohn parked the unit outside and then I got in my car and headed on home. I got home and I ate dinner, got changed and then headed back into the shed for the meeting. I got there and Bill was already there. I got all my stuff together and took it over to the meeting room. Bill helped me set a table up front and then we went back to the office. Deb showed up next, followed by my father, Sue, Scott and then Dohn and Carol came back from running 13-1 up to Engle. We were sitting in the meeting room when the pager went off for breathing problems at Polk in Millersburg Borough. Scott, Sue and Bed took that one. We had the meeting and then we did the coustomnary bullshiting afterwards. I left there around 22:45 hours and headed on home. I took a shower and just finished eating my snack. Crazy Morning
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and I only got 3 hours sleep as the pager went off at 04:55 hours for breathing problems at SLV in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then me and my father got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and Medic 6 was already there and we loaded her up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital BLS. After we got what we needed there, we headed on home. Me and my father stopped at Dennies, Lennies and had breakfast. We then headed back to the "Barn" so I could do my paperwork for the call. I just sat down and had logged our times in when the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. We went responding and then Medic 6 went responding. We got there and we have taken this guy before, so I knew what to do. We put some oxygen on him, got him on the stretcher and then loaded him in the ambulance and headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital. As we were heading down there, the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. We did not get out and Dauphin ended up coming up and taking the call. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we were dropping the medic off, the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. We went responding and the medic was right behind us. About 2 minutes later the pager went off again for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. Dohn and Carol took that one. When we got there, Chief 29 and his wife were there. We loaded the lady up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were waiting for a bed down there, Dohn and Carol showed up. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off and then headed on home. I sat down and read the comics, while my father took a shower. I then made lunch and watched the race. Tony Stewart won again. After that we headed back into the shed and he changed the outside tank and I did my three tripsheets. After that we went and got disiel and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower. I am now eating dinner and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late, sop if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
She wore a skirt and looked stunning
Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I read the paper and then the pager went off for bleeding in Elizabethville Borough at the Keppler Home. Dohn and Carol headed into the station and went responding in 13-1. When they got up there, Carol called the house and told us that there might be a second call at the Keppler home. So me and my father got dressed and headed into the "Barn" and picked up 13-2 and went back home. We got home and I made lunch and ate it while I watched qualifiying from Walkins Glen. After I had finished eating lunch the pager went off for chest pains in Elizabethville Borough. We went responding and we got maybe 20 feet from our driveway when Medic 6 got on and said that they had a BLS truck and that we could go in service. So we went around the block and backed the unit back in and went back inside. We sat down and watched some more qualifiying and the pager went off again for an Accident with unknown injuries in Northumberland County. We went responding and and we got further then we did the last time, but altimately we were placed in service again as there was only one patient. So we went back home again. Dohn and Carol then got back and we took the unit back into the station and picked up my car and then headed on home. Once at home I got changed and got on the computer to upload some more pictures. I then got off around 17:50 hours and watched some of the Busch race and then I got dressed around 18:20 hours and then me and my father headed into the shed to pick up 13-1 and Bill and head into the carnival. We got there and I got ice for the cooler that had the water in it and then we all got in the unit and off we went. We got there and we parked the unit and got the chairs out and then my father went to talk to someone and I went to the restroom and then to the poster trailer and with one dart got aonther poster for Amanda. I then got some food and talked with some other people. Dohn and Carol showed up with the grandkids and the Susie showed up and we talked some. We put a band-aid on a small kid. Then we were sitting there talking and Bill pointed at someone and I turned to look and there was this nice looking lady in a skirt with very smooth and toned legs, and it was SUE! My jaw almost dropped, because I have never seen her wear a skirt. She came over and Steve was with her and he had the baby. Then Amanda and Zach came over and I hugged both her and Sue and then I gave Amanda the two posters I got for her and then she said that she wanted something to eat and I went over and got her some french fries, and then I got her and Zach both a Mountain Dew. Sue went off to talk to someone and then a lady came over and asked if there was a woman working because her duaghter cut her foot on a piece of glass and was in the women's restroom. So me and Sue headed over to the restroom with the bag and the mother. As we neared the restrooms the mother said that she was right here and the she came out of the restroom. So we took her back over to the ambulance and me and Sue took a look at her foot. Sue started to kneel down and then she asked to borrow my towel and I said yes and she laid that on the ground and then knelt on that. Her and me washed the girls cut out and then wrapped it while the girls mother went and got the car and then they left. Steve left with the baby and headed on home. Sue and me talked some more and I told her off all the times for you to wear a skirt and here you were kneeling down on the ground helping this girl. She said her goodbyes and then she left with Amanda and Zach. We stayed at the carnival until around alomost 22:45 hours and then we left and headed back to the station to drop Bill off. I logged our times in and then we headed home. I am checking my email right now and surfing the net. I will be on for a little bit longer so if an sexy ladies want to talk to me just give me a buzz.

I looked at my father as asked him if the windows in the unit were up. We looked at each other for about 10 seconds and then we both got up and scrambled outside to check. Burning stumps
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this monring around 08:58 hours when the pager went off for back pain in Elizabethville Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and took my medications, while my father went out and started the unit up and put us responding. We got up there and took the lady down to Holy Spirit Hospital. While we were on our way down, the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Medic 6 advised that they would handle the call and to keep our second unit available as a BLS truck. After was got what we needed down there we headed on home. My father stopped at the house of one of his brothers and they talked for a little bit, and then we continued on home. We stopped at Shell to get disiel. I got out of the unit and closed the door and looked at thw white truck beside us and I saw a cute girl get in it. Just as she was about to close the door she looked at me and I saw that it was Amanda. She saw me and said "Hey". So I went over and talked to her for a little bit and I got to meet her boyfriend Zach. He is a very nice boy. I then left them go as they had to get to the truck show. After that we stopped at Tru-Value and my father picked up something. We then stopped at the "Barn" and I logged our times in and I got my times for the call. Bill then showed up and showed me his new blue light that he has on his truck. We then left for home. As we passed Dohn and Carol's house, Chief 29 called us on our private and asked us if we wanted to start heading to his station, because he had a walk in with an allergic reaction. So we turned around and headed for station 29. When we got to the station and checked the guy out, we had county dispatch Medic 6 to our location. Jim got on board and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. Ambulance 6-7 pulled in behind us, so Jim went home with them. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we were coming around the mountain, Medic 6 got toned out for a brush fire in Jackson Township. Me and my father headed out that way and when we got on the scene, here some guy was burning some old stumps and some old, moldy hay. From there, we went on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched a little tv. I just finished eating dinner and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I hope that Amanda had fun at the truck show today. Will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Around 13:45 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Dauphin Borough. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got in 13-1 and off we went. We got to the station to pick up Bill and the Pt's mother was going to take him in her car and she cancelled us. So we turned around and Dohn took me back to his house and I picked up my car. I then went into Sheetz and got gas, then decided to stop by my brunet baby's house and visit her. I pulled in and went up to the door. I rang the doorbell and Sue answered the door. She looks good with her hair that color, it makes her look younger. Eros was all over me and I petted him for awhile. I sat down at the table and was talking with Sue and petting Eros when the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. I said goodbye to Sue and Eros and got in my car and took off for Dohn's house. I got there and met up with Dohn and Bill and we went responding. We got there behind Jim. We loaded the guy up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped Jim off at Sheetz and then headed for Dohn's house. Me and Bill picked up our cars and headed back into the "Barn". I logged my times in and downloaded a few of the pictures that I have on my online photo album. Dohn showed up with the unit and Carol brought our new bulletin board in. The four of us talked and then I headed for home. Once at home I ate dinner and watched "Trauma, Life in the ER" until 21:00 hours. Then me and my father headed into the shed to pick up 13-1. We just got home with it and I just had my snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Dead Tired.....Part 2
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was once again rocked out of bed this morning around 07:20 hours for a sick person in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed, took my medication, and got in my car and headed for the station. Boy was it ever foggy out. I met up with Carol at the station and off we went in 13-1. We got there and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were at the house, the pager went off for a fall person in Jackson Township. Bill was unable to go, so Dohn went to the scene. Luckily the lady only needed help getting back up, which Dohn did and placed Ambulance 20-1 in service. After we got what we needed down at Harrisburg, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz and I picked up something to eat for lunch. We then went back to the "Barn". I logged my time in and pulled my time up. I then went up to Rite Aid and dropped of a perscription and then went over to Giant to pick up a gallon of iced tea. While I was standing in line to pay for my iced tea, the pager went off for breathing problems in Jefferson Township. I got out of line and sat my iced tea on the express checkout line and headed for my car and then headed for the station. I got there and Carol and Bill were already there. We got out there and 6Q was on the scene and our medic was Perry Medic 81. He got there and he asked me if I would take his squad down to Harrisburg Hospital for him and I said yes. As we were getting ready to get on the mountain the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township. Carol told me to call Dohn and see if he was still able to go. So I did and he said yes he was. So I then turned around at the top of the mountain and headed back for the station. I got there and parked the medic's squad, got in 13-2 and off we went. We took this lady down to Osteo Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We got back at the shed and Dohn left to get to his doctor's appointment. Carol and Bill came back shortly after that. When they got back I headed back up to Rite Aid and picked up my medication and then I went over to Giant again and this time was able to get my iced tea. I then headed back to the station and sat down to eat lunch while Bill worked on some of his tripsheets. Around 15:30 hours the pager went off for abdominal pains in Millersburg Borough. I pulled 13-1 and Carol came in and off we went. We got up there and it was a reuslt of a domsetic situration. The girl was 30 weeks pregant and she was slapped in the face accidently by her mother. She wanted to go down to Harrisburg Hospital to be checked out. Her and me talked on the way down and we have so much in common. But alas she has a boy friend and has a baby on the way. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Bill finished his one tripsheet and then I got on and did my four. Came on home and took a shower and am getting ready to eat a snack. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies out there (AHEM) want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Dead Tired
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:10 hours when the pager went off for a fall person in Reed Township. I got out of bed, got dressed, took my medications, and got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I met up with Dohn and Bill there and off we went. We got there and put an air splint on her ankle and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We were on our way out to Dohn's house to pick up our cars, when the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough at the Health Center. We turned around and went responding. We got up there behind Jim when we pulled in. While we were helping the guy onto the stretcher, the pager went off for a near fainting in Halifax Borough. I asked Dohn if Carol was home and he said yes and to call her. I did and she said that she was available and that she was going to head to the station. Jim asked if we had a second crew and I said I was going to head on down with them. He told me to just take the squad and go on down and meet up with Carol. So he got his gear out and let me have it. Boy was I walking on air. I got to drive the squad, with the lights on and the siren running. I got down there and Perry Medic 81 came over. We took her down to Osteo Hospital, and Dohn and Bill took there guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were down at Osteo, I called my honey Sue and harrased her with my best deep sexy male voice I could muster. We had a good laugh. After I got what we needed down there we headed on back. Dohn and Bill were ahead of us when the pager went off again for a laceration in Halifax Township. They went responding. I called Bill and told him that if Jim was not going to go down to let us know and we would pick him up and drop him off at his squad. Well that did not last long, because about 6 minutes later the pager went off again for a CVA in Millersburg Borough at the Polk Assisted Living. We went available and went responding with Perry Medic 81 on board. We got up there and Perry Medic 81 was not needed. The daughter wanted us to take the guy up to Gessinger up in Danville. Jim was not needed so he came up and picked up Perry Medic 81 and took him down to his squad. As we were leaving to head to Gessinger, Medic 6 was dispatched back to the Health Center in Millersburg Borough for another chest pains. They took that guy down to Hershey. While we were heading up to Gessinger, we heard a call dispatched for a fall person in Upper Paxton Township for a fall person. Dohn and Bill went responding and got there and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. Dohn said that while they were on thier way down there, Millersburg went to the Dialis center in Upper Paxton Township. We got up to Gessinger and took her in and I gave the report. After we got what we needed up there, we headed on home. We stopped at Wendy's and we both got something to eat for dinner. After that we headed on back down. As we were getting closer to Dauphin County, we heard that Medic 6 had a call in Berrysburg and that they were going to be heading to Gessinger. We got back in to the county and into town and went and got Disiel. Carol then ran me out to her house so I could pick up my car. I then headed back on into the station to log my times and trips, and to pull up all the times for the day. Dohn and Bill went avaiable and came back to the "Barn". My father then showed up and the five of us got talking. Bill then left and then the four of us continued talking. Me and my father left there around 20:20 hours and headed on home. I am getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I hope that Amanda did extremly well on her State written tonight and I hope that she passes. Well be on late tonight, so if any sexy women (ahem, no names will be mentioned *coughSUEcough*) want to talk to me, jusy give me a buzz.

Blonde to Brunet, will she still look sexy....HELL YEAH!!!
Last night around 11:45 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. I grabbed the pager and listened to it. Sue got to go on a call last night since she was on the schedule. I then went to bed around 01:45 hours. I took some allergey medication and boy did it ever make me tired. I was out in like 5 minutes. I got up this morning around 09:00 hours when my mother called me. I ate breakfast and read the paper. Around 10:10 hours I headed on into town. I stopped at Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea and then headed back to the "Barn". When I turned in Keystone was already there, so I opened up the empty bay and had him pull in. He worked on 13-1's running boards for about almost 4 hours. It took him 2 hours to install the one on the driver's side. Bill came in around 11:00 hours to do his tripsheet. Around 12:45 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Duncannon. I pulled 13-2 out and Dohn and Carol came in and off they went. Now before they left I told Bill that I would give them five minutes and then they would be placed in service. About one minute later they were placed in service. They came back and the talked for a little bit and then they left. After the guy from Keystone left, me and Bill were not far behind. Bill went into Giant and I headed home. As I came into Fisherville, the pager went off for an accident in Elizabethville Borough, involving a motorcycle. Since I was already on the road, I headed up that way to help out. I got up there and helped out until Dohn and Carol got there. The left side of this guys head was swelled up and when I palpated it, I could feel the fluid moving around. They took him down to Harrisburg Hospital and I went on home. Once home me and my mother talked for a while, and then I took a nice cool shower. I then ate dinner and watched some tv. I then got on the net and ate my snack. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight so any sexy ladies out there want to talk to me, just give me a buzz, I will be here waiting.

Here we go again
Went to bed last night around 01:45 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:00 hours when the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Borough at the Boyer Apartments. I got out of bed and got dressed and got in my car and headed fo Dohn's house. I got there and Dohn put us enroute was he was waiting for me. We got there, followed by Medic 6 and then we took her on down to Harrisburg Hospital. As we were getting ready to leave, Jim stepped on the grate of the running board and his foot went through it. So we ended up getting the hammer out and beating the rest of it off of the running board. I called my father on the way home and told him what happened and to call Keystone right away. We dropped the medic off at Boyer Apartments and headed back to the "Barn". We logged in our times and showed my father and Carol what happened to 13-1. After that Dohn ran me out to his house so I could pick up my car and then I headed back into the station to do my paperwork from the call. I finished that up and headed on home. Once home I read the paper and then made lunch and got on the PS2 and played Outlaw Golf 2. Around 16:30 hours the pager went off for an assult person in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house again. I pulled in behind Bill and we both got in 13-1 and went responding. Scott was on the scene and said that it was safe to come in and that it was not an assult. We got there and Scott was already there along with a few other people. So we started to ask the guy questions and we decided to have county start Medic 6 our way. So after that I go over and get the backboard from Dohn. I take it over and am undoing the straps and I turn and look towards the traffic light and I see this curvacious blonde haired women struting over towards my direction. I turned my attention back to the backboard, but for some reason I looked at that women again and it was Sue. We ended up taking that guy down to Hershey Hospital again, for the fourth day in a row, but we did not go into the trauma room. After we got what we needed down there we headed on home. We dropped the medic off and then headed to Dohn's house. We picked up our cars and headed back in to the shed. I logged my time in and then headed to Sheetz to get gas and then to McDonalds to get dinner. After that I headed on home and ate dinner and then took a nice cool shower. While I was shaving a cut my chin and boy did it start bleeding. I got that bandaged up and then got online. Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Will be on late tonight so give a buzz if you want to talk.
