Burning stumps
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this monring around 08:58 hours when the pager went off for back pain in Elizabethville Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and took my medications, while my father went out and started the unit up and put us responding. We got up there and took the lady down to Holy Spirit Hospital. While we were on our way down, the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Medic 6 advised that they would handle the call and to keep our second unit available as a BLS truck. After was got what we needed down there we headed on home. My father stopped at the house of one of his brothers and they talked for a little bit, and then we continued on home. We stopped at Shell to get disiel. I got out of the unit and closed the door and looked at thw white truck beside us and I saw a cute girl get in it. Just as she was about to close the door she looked at me and I saw that it was Amanda. She saw me and said "Hey". So I went over and talked to her for a little bit and I got to meet her boyfriend Zach. He is a very nice boy. I then left them go as they had to get to the truck show. After that we stopped at Tru-Value and my father picked up something. We then stopped at the "Barn" and I logged our times in and I got my times for the call. Bill then showed up and showed me his new blue light that he has on his truck. We then left for home. As we passed Dohn and Carol's house, Chief 29 called us on our private and asked us if we wanted to start heading to his station, because he had a walk in with an allergic reaction. So we turned around and headed for station 29. When we got to the station and checked the guy out, we had county dispatch Medic 6 to our location. Jim got on board and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. Ambulance 6-7 pulled in behind us, so Jim went home with them. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we were coming around the mountain, Medic 6 got toned out for a brush fire in Jackson Township. Me and my father headed out that way and when we got on the scene, here some guy was burning some old stumps and some old, moldy hay. From there, we went on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched a little tv. I just finished eating dinner and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I hope that Amanda had fun at the truck show today. Will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
