Lights and Sirens

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around08:30 hours for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. My mother brought my medication into my room as I was getting out of bed. I got dressed and got in my car and headed for the station. I got there, and Dohn pulled in almost right behind me. I pulled the unit out and then got in the passengers side and Dohn got in and off we went. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We loaded her up and took her down to Osteo Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We ran the medic back up to his sqaud at SLV, and then headed on back to the "Barn". When we got there, I logged my time in and then started on my tripsheet. Dohn leff to head on home and get ready for his doctor's appointment. Bill then shoed up shortly after Dohn left. Bill came in with lunch and he had bought mr a sprite also (than you Bill). I finished up my tripsheet and then Carol came in and we bagged candy for tonights parade. Out of 300 bags, we filled 295. After we were done with that, we got the flags out for on the units tonight. Bill and Carol left for home and I ran up to Sheetz and got gas, and then stopped at True Value and got zip-ties for the flags. After that I headed on home. Once at home I sat down and read the paper. Just as I got to the comics, the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough, at the health center. I got in my car and headed back into the station. I pulled in behind Bill and Carol pulled in behind us. We all got in 13-1 and off we went. When we got there, medic 6 was already there. We loaded her up and I took the squad down to Sheetz and then we headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed. I logged my time in and then headed home for a little bit. Once at home I finished reading the comics, then changed into my white shirt for tonight, and then headed back into the station. I got in there I got to work putting the flags on the units. Bill was already there, Deb showed up, followed by Dohn and Carol. We loaded the candy up and headed out to the school. We got there and got lined up and then we waited. While we waited, I watched the end of the judgeing and I saw my good friend and pal, Dave Housel was one of the judges. I talked to him for a little bit and then the parade started. I had lots of fun sitting on the back of the ambulance throwing ot candy to the kids. After the parade we went back to the park and stayed until 22:40 hours, then we headed on back to the shed. I logged my times in and then headed on home. I just finished taking a nice cool shower and eating a light snack. I am checking my email right now and soon will be hitting the sack for the nigh.
