The Good Old Days

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 07:45 hours when the pager went off. I got up and got dressed, ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got my boots on and headed into town. I went up to Sheetzs and got gas and then went back to the "Barn". Once there I put 13-1 out of service, and pulled it outside into the sun and then got the Windex and towel and went to work doing some touch up to the unit. Lewis from Keystone then showed up and went to work replaceing the letters on the driver's side of the box on 13-1. Bill then showed up and I talked to him for a little bit. At 11:00 hours I went into the kitchen and watched my tv show that I watch. During commercials, I went out and checked on Lewis to see if he had any questions about anything. My show ended at 12:00 hours and then me and Bill went through and put candy in all of the bags we will be handing out tomorrow. Lewis left there around 12:30 hours. I did a few more touch up's to the unit and then backed it into the bay and put it back in service. I then talked with Bill some more and then headed on home. Once at home I talked with my mother for a little bit and then I got on the computer and played a game. Around 14:05 hours the pager went off for a life alert activation in Halifax Township. My father had just walked in the house and I walked by him and got in my car and headed for the shed. I got there and Bill was just unlocked the front door to go in. I parked the car and got out and got in 13-2 and pulled it out. In the process of doing that, I did not wait for Bill to get fully in the back of the unit and close the side door. Luckly Bill yelled for me to stop and I did and he was able to get in and close the door. Dohn then showed up and off we went. We got there and Scott was already there, and he placed us in service as soon as we pulled up. So we talked to him for a little bit and then headed back to the shed. I logged my time in for the day and then I headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then got dressed and left the house around 18:05 hours and headed for the school for the football game. I got there and parked and took my stuff up into the stands and then waited for the band to show up. They showed up and I talked with quite a few people. It was a good game, but we did play sloppy. We won anyway, 28 to 7 over Tri-Valley. It was also homecoming tonight, so the place was packed. I left the shcool around 21:30 hours and stopped at the shed to go to the bathroom and then I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower. I am getting ready to check my email and then I am going to hit the sack. Got the open house tomorrow. So I will be on for a little bit longer so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

AMANDA NORNHOLD EMT!!!!

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours and ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. I then got dressed and headed on into town. I first went to Giant and picked up a few things and then went to the hardware store and picked up Simple Green and Windex to wash the units with and then I headed back to the "Barn". Once I got there, I let Bill know I was there and then I moved my car and then went inside and got the pick head axe and took it out to my car. I then got into my bunker gear and Bill took quite a few pictures of me. I then took my bunker gear off and as I was putting the axe away, the fire pager went off for lifting assitance. I got in my car and headed on out to the hose house. As I got there, they cancelled us. So I turned around and went back into the shed. I got there and Dohn getting ready to take 13-2 out to his house for the day. I pulled 13-1 out and went to work on washing it. It took me about 2 hours to wash it and then I washed my car. I then put everything away and then I talked with Bill for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower. I then ate dinner and watched "That 70's Show" and the evening news. I then got on the computer for a little bit. I just finished watching the live episode of "Will & Grace" and just finished eating my snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me just give me a buzz.

Clean those bugs

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and woken up around 08:30 hours when the phone rang. I layed in bed and I fell back to sleep. Then at 09:15 hours the pager went off for a resenditial structure fire in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and started getting dressed. About a minute later as I was getting dressed, I heard the house sirne going off. I took my medication and my mother gave me one of her prescriptions to drop off and I got in my car and headed into the "Barn". When I passed the hose house, the tanker was just pulling out. I went by Dohn's house and he was just getting ready to leave. I hit about 75 as I went by Dohn's house. I got into the shed and Bill was already there amd he had the bay door open with 13-2 running and was sitting in the passenger's seat. I got out and yelled to him if he had gotten any water. He said no, and he got out and headed to the kicthen, and I threw my stuff in the front and then grabbed the portable radio from the uint and went into the kitchen and started getting water and sport's drinks and put them in the back of the unit. I then stepped outside to see if Dohn was here yet and I saw him turning in and I put us responding and placed Medic 6 in service. I then went back into the kitchen and started feilling two Igloo's up with ice and then I filled one with water, while Bill filled the other and then Dohn came in and grabbed cups and we threw all of that stuff in the back of the unit and we took off. We got there just as they were placing the box in service. So rehab was not needed (grumble). We stayed for about 15 minutes until I talked to Thomas and he said that we could go. Turns out that a plastic spactual that was in the dishwasher had falled onto the heating elament of the dishwasher and had melted and that was what was making the dishwahser smoke. After that we headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got disiel and then headed on back to the shed. I logged my time in and then did my paper work on the fire, and then headed to Rite Aid to drop off my mother's prescription and then headed on home. Once at home I made lunch and watched tv and read the paper. I went back into town around 12:15 hours. I went to Rite Aid and picked up my mother's medication and then headed back to the shed. I got there and got things together to start cleaning the outside compartments. I started and Bill pulled up and then he helped me and then Dohn showed up with 13-2 and then Carol showed up. Dohn and Carol worked on trying to buff some of the scratches out while me and Bill worked on the compartments. Around 14:30 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Me, Dohn and Bill dropped what we were doing and got in 13-2 and took off. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him on down to Harrisburg Hospital. Once again Tindell with Medic 6 got out of going on a call. After we got what we needed down at the hospital, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then Dohn finished up part of the the front of the box on 13-1, cleaning off the bugs. I then left for home. Once at home I had dinner and watched "That 70's Show" and the news. Then me and my father headed into the shed to pick up 13-2 and bring it out to the house. Once at home we parked the unit and then went inside. I am getting ready to hit the old email and suf the net. My mind is wandering

Went to bed last night around 01:13 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:20 hours for a hip injury in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then took my medication and then got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got in there at the same time as Dohn and I got inside and opened the bay door up and we got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we turned onto Front Street, I heard the tones go off for a sick person in Halifax Township. Carol, Bill and Susie were able to get the second unit out because Carol was at home, and it was to early for Bill to be on the call with me and Dohn. So we passed them at the traffic light and we went back to the shed and I logged my time and did my paperwork on the call while Dohn played cards on the computer. I had finished my paperwork and was talking to Dohn when the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. We got in 13-2 and took off for town. We got there and talked to the guy for a little bit and then loaded him up and took him on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. The other crew was already bacl and had left the station. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in for the second call and did my paperwork for the second call. I then went to work sweeping out the front of 13-1 and started scrubbing the doors when Bill showed up and he helped me clean the windows on the inside and also the dashboard and a few other things. We then talked about a few things and then I left around 15:45 hours and headed on home. As I was heading on home I heard on the radio that there was an overturned tractor trailer around the mountain. I immediately called my father on his cell phone and asked him where he was and if he had heard about the truck and she told me that he was just coming from there. I then got home and sat down and read the paper and ate dinner. Then around 17:30 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in front of McDonald's. I got in my car and headed on into the shed. As I went to pull out of my driveway, Warren across the street was backing out of his driveway and I let him go first since he has a red light and I would have had to pull over for him anyway if I would have been in front of him. When we got to the square of Fisherville, Warren pulled out with his siren going and I pulled up to check on the traffic. As I was waiting to pull out Thomas was coming from the Eville direction with his red light and siren going. So I waited until he passed to pull out and I fell in line behind him and followed him into the shed. Scott got on the scene first and he told us over private that there were 3 sign offs and that one unit would be fine. I got to the shed and Bill was already there and had the bay door open the the unit started. I got in the front and then Carol got there and her and Bill got in and off we went. We got there and it was two sign offs. The State Game Officer did not want to be checked out, he was more concerned over his truck. The two girls from the other car I knew form high school. We got them to sign off and then headed back to the shed. I got there and logged my time in and then got stuff together for the meeting tonight. Things went really good at the meeting tonight. I left there around 21:35 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then wacthed a little tv. I just finised eating my snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net a little bit longer. I will be on for a little bit longer tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

I lost two pounds

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours, I was really tired. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:15 hours for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and started getting dressed and my mother brought me my medication to take. I then got my boots on and got in my car and headed on into the "Barn". I got there and Carol haed just opened up the bay door for 13-2 and Bill was getting in the back. I got in the front and we played with the siren for about a minute, and then decided to just go. So we took off. It was at the house on the Yeager Farm. We got there and a 15 year old female was having abdominal cramps. We cancelled the medic and we got a refusal on her and headed on back to the shed. Once back there, I logged my time in and then pulled my car into the empty bay and had Bill get me the vaccum so I could sweep my car out. While I was sweeping the passenger side of my car, I looked under the front passenegr's seat and I found a can of strawberry cake frosting. I pulled it out and it was an unopened can. I sat it aside and wondered where it came from. I finished sweeping out my car and then put the vaccum away and then headed on up to Sheetz to get gas. While I was there, I ran into Lanny from Millersburg. We talked for a few minutes and then I headed for Giant. I went to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and iced tea and then headed on home. Once at home I put the milk and iced tea away and then weighed myself and I found out that I lost 2 pounds since last Monday. I was really happy for myself. I know it may not seem a lot to some people, but to me it is a lot of weight for me to lose in a week. After that I made lunch and read the paper and watched a little tv. Around 12:15 hours Dohn called and said that he was back. So I changed clothes and then headed back into the shed to clean the backl of 13-1. I got in there and got everything I was going to need to clean and then I took my t-shirt off and went straight to work. I cleaned the stretcher off first, and then cleaned the inside of the back doors and then started working on the inside walls, ceiling, grab rails, seats and other small areas. Bill showed up about this time and I had him help me out on a few things. I then started working on the cabinets. I started on the big one up front that has the Burn bag and vaccum splint in it. I had Bill pull the Burn Bag off to go through it and see if I needed to mark our name on anything. He called me over and said that there was a problem with the zipper. Come to find out that at some point one of the ice packs inside broke open, spilling the contents of it out and gunking up the zipper. So I was able to get one side open but not the other. So I got the other old first due bag down from the loft and we transferred the stuff over into that. I then continued to clean the rest of the cabinets and the windows inside. I then finished with the floor and then after that dried we put the stretcher back in. I then put my t-shirt back on and me and Bill headed up to Giant in his truck. He dropped me off at McDonald's and I got a very light dinner and he went to Subway. As we were waiting to pull out, I noticed a blue sports car in the turning lane waiting to turn in. When I saw the car and the rims on the car, I knew it was Amanda's car. They turned in as we waited to pull out and Amanda honked at me and me and Bill waved. We then went back to the shed and I ate dinner and then Dohn showed up to get somethings ready for class tonight. My dad then showed up, followed by Kathy, Kim and then Carol came in last. We had class and then I sat and talked for a little bit with Dohn, Bill and Kim about football. I left there around 21:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a snack and watched some tv. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on for a little bit longer tonight, and then I am hitting the sack, as I have another long day of cleaning tomorrow. So if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

What a race!

Around 01:29 hours last night the pager went off for an odor of gas inside a house in Millersburg Borough. I was still up and was able to get dressed fairly quickly and so did my father. I went out and started the unit up and he put us responding. We got out to the square of Fisherville, when Millersburg got out and we were placed in serivce. So we turned around at the church in Fisherville and headed on home. We parked the unit and went inside. My father went back to bed and I finished up a few things online and then hit the sack around 02:30 hours. Got up at 07:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and set it for an hour later and went back to bed. I got up again at 08:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed around 09:55 hours and then me and my mother walked a few laps on the driveway and then we got in my car and we headed on into church. Got in there and went inside, read the sricpture and then left after the serivce was over and headed on home. Got home and my father left to take the uint back into the "Barn". I took a shower and then made lunch after I got out and sat down to watch the race from Dover. Boy what a race, Jimmie Johnson won the race. My father is now watching a Steelers game and I am eating dinner and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. What a Game!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. U got out of bed and got dressed and then went out and watched a little tv and read the paper. I made lunch around 12:00 hours and sat down to watch the Penn State game against Northwestern. Boy what a game that was. Really kept you on the edge of your seat, as it went all the way down to the wire. Penn State came from behind to win the game 34-29. Boy was that ever a game to watch. After that I got on the computer and played a few games. I ate dinner around 17:30 hours. Then at 19:00 hours me and my father headed into the "Barn" to pick 13-1 up and bring it out to the house. We got in there, and I logged my time in and then we got in 13-1 and headed on home. As we were turning onto my street, we heard Millersburg get tapped out for an accident with injuries in Upper Paxton Township. We backed the unit into the driveway and sat and listened to it. Lanny (Chief 20-A) got on and told county to go next due. We started the unit up and started to pull out of thr driveway when they hit for Medic 6 and not us. So we stopped and I called down to county on my cell phone and advised them that we had a full crew if they needed a second crew. County in turn told Lanny and he told them to put us on the street since he was not there yet. So the pager went off and we went responding. We got up there and the people in the Jeep did not want EMS. So we stayed on scene until we were released by Command 20 and we headed on back to the shed. Once there, I did my paperwork on the call which took me about 5 minutes. We then headed on home. I just finished eating my light snack for the night and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Busy Day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got out of bed this morning around 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and ate breakfast and read the comics. I then got our fire extinguisher's and put them in the trunk of my car and headed on into the "Barn". Once I got in there, I took the extinguisher's inside and then got all of the station's extinguisher's and set them on a table and then waited for the guy from Phiffer's to show up to check them all out. Around 08:30 hours the pager went off for a headache in Halifax Township. I pulled the unit out at the same time that Phiffer's showed up. I told him where the extinguisher's were and that I had to go on a call. Dohn showed up and off we went. Carol headed to the scene and was there upon our arrival. After we loaded the lady up, I told Carol about Phiffer's being at the shed and she said that she would go back. We then took off for Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I put the extinguisher's away and then did my paperwork on the lady from this morning. Bill then showed up and we talked for a little bit and then I left around 10:55 hours and headed on home. I got home and put the extinguisher's away and then sat down and watched about 3 hours of tv. I then finished reading the paper while I ate lunch. I got on the computer around 14:00 hours. Around 15:30 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. Bill pulled in right behind me and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. As we pulled out of the road that lead's to Dohn's house, Sue passed us heading to E-ville. We got to the scene and my father and Scott were already there. We walked in the basement and there was my father holding the head of a 16 year old female that had fallen down the stairs and had a seizure. She was in a terry cloth robe, and THAT WAS IT!!! She was getting ready to go to the tanning room. After we got her backboard, Medic 6 shoed up and we took her down to Hershey Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the Medic off at his squad at the scene and then went back to the shed and restocked a few things and logged my time in, and then Dohn took us out for our cars. I then headed on home and took a shower and just finished eating dinner. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Big Hornet Nest

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 08:30 hours when my mother left to go down to my grandparents house to visit. I got out of bed, got dressed and then ate breakfast and watched a little tv. Around 10:10 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed into the "Barn" to meet up with Dohn and Bill. I got in there and they went responding and I got in the back of the unit and off we went. We got out there and Medic 6 was already there. After I helped them get the lady into the back of the unit, I went over to take the squad down to Sheetz. When I went to get in, Jim said look at that hornet's nest in that tree. Man was that thing big. So with that aside, I got in the squad and took it down to Sheetz ahead of Dohn. After I parked it, Dohn pulled in about a minute later and I got up front as it was a little crowed in the back, and then we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. Dohn and me talked on the way down as I knew I would be sitting in the back since Jim was along. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We dropped Jim and his student off at Sheetz and then went to Shell to get disiel. Engine 216 was at the shack getting food, and then they backed the engine up to get disiel. After we finished there, we headed back to the shed. When we got there, Carol was there. After we talked for a little bit, her and Dohn took their vehicle's to get gas and then came back. I fixed a tripsheet and then I did a few more things then left and went to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then walked some outside. I then watched a little tv and then my mother pulled up with my grandparents. She brought them up so they could go up to the Gratz Fair. We all sat in the living room and talked and watched some tv. My brother showed up around 16:30 hours. He got changed and then they left for the fair. My father had training at County tonight so he was not getting home until late tonight. I made dinner around 17:00 hours and watched the news. I then started to watch "That 70's Show". Around 18:20 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed to the shed. I got there and pulled 13-1 out and then waited for Deb to show up. Deb pulled in and I put us responding and she got in and off we went. We got there and then Medic 6 showed up. We got the lady loaded and then headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed. I did my paperwork and then went to Giant and picked upa few things and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and now am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Today's Special: Crazy People

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and around 02:35 hours the pager went off for a call in Millersburg Borough. I layed in bed and waited about 2 minutes before I picked up the phone to call Dohn and Carol to see if they were getting ready. After I dailed and the phone was ringing, 20 got out and we were placed in service and I hung the phone up, reset the pager and went back to bed. Then around 08:38 hours the pager went off for an overdose at the Daylias center in Millersburg Borough. I got out of bed, got dressed and took my medication and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and Dohn was just getting in the uint. I got in and we went responding. As we were heading up, county called us and told us that they were now sending the fire department for ventilation and that our Pt. was in police custody. When we got there, the guy was in thre back of the cop car and the Millersburg Police Chief talked to us along with the Medic from Medic 6. We came to find out that the guy had been sniffing Freon for about an hour. The guy talked to his boss and he finally agreed to go down with us to the hospital. After we got him loaded up, we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. We stopped at Wilit's to pick up Carol so she could drive and Dohn jumped in the back with me for the rest of the trip. As we were heading on down, I heard we had a call for back pains in Halifax Township. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Dohn took me out to get my car at his house after we dropped Carol off and then I went back into the "Barn" to do my paperwork on the call. After I got in there and logged my time in and pulled my times up, Carol showed up. followed shortly by Bill. We talked some while I did my tripsheet. While I was in the middle of my tripsheet, the pager went off for chest pains in Upper Paxton Township. I finished up my tripsheet and then waited out back for Dohn to pick me and Bill up. After he picked us up, we headed on back up to the scene. We got there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the guy loaded up and headed on back down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the Medic off at Sheetz and then we went back to the shed. I logged my time in and then left and went to Sheetz to get gas and then headed on home. I got home and I read the paper and talked to my mother some. Then around 15:30 hours we went back to my room and hung up the 3 posters I have had sitting in my room for a few months now. I now have 7 posters of Britney Spears in my room, one on the back of my door and six on the ceiling and one of Jessica Simpson as Daisy Duke on my ceiling. After that we watched a little tv and then the news and "That 70's Show" while I ate dinner. Around 18:10 hours the pager went off for a pyschatric Pt. in Halifax Township. I had just finished eatting dinner. I got in my car and headed to Carol's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We were meeting Scott on the scene and Dohn was following to pick Carol up. We got there and the lady was sitting her car yelling at her son and his wife. I called county and asked them to send PSP to the scene and they advised me that they were dispatched. I then looked back and saw that the lady was banging the wife off of the side of the vehicle. At this point I got out of the unit and approcahed the car and separated the son and his wife from the mother and then tried to talk to the mother. I had my hand resting on the driver's side door frame and the mother went to shut the door on my hand so she could leave. I grabbed a hold of the door so it would not shut on my hand. The lady looked at me and called me a "Son of a Bitch" and then the son came over and grabbed the door and pulled on it, resulting in the mother popping the inside door panel off the door frame. I then again tried to talk to the mother but she kept screaming at the son and his wife. I tried one more time to talk to the mother. at which time she took her left hand and swung at me in with her open hand and she caught me in the chest with her fingers. At this point Carol had told Dohn that we were fighting up there and they both showed up and Carol grabbed my shoulder and told me to back up before the mother hit me again. At this point I stepped back an called county again and told them to have PSP step it up. Scott showed up, then Bill and then PSP. PSP talked to her and we got her in the back of the unit and she checked her blood sugar and that was normal. After that she got out and was walking around talking on a cell phone and yelling at her husband who showed up shortly after PSP. At about 2 hours into it, she threatened to hit her husband over the head when they got home. Scott told PSP and when they confronted her about it, she got mad. Scott then said that she had threatened him and she went over to Scott and asked him what she said and he procceded to tell her and she said that was right. At this point PSP said that was all he needed to hear and he got his hand cuffs out and started putting them on her. She layed herself down on the ground and then they cuffed her hands together and placed her in the cop car. While they were talking to us, she was able to kick her leg up front in the cop car and turn the siren on. PSP then tied her legs together, and then headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital with her. We stayed a little bit to make sure the son and his wife were ok and then Scott, Carol and Dohn headed into the shed, while Bill took me out to my car and then we both headed into the shed. We got there and the five of us talked about different things, and then my father showed up. As I was back in the office documenting things, my dad came back and said that a plane was going to make an Emergency Landing at LAX in LA. Me and Bill went out into the kitchen and we watched the news on this for about 45 minutes until it finally landed safely and then everyone left and I finished up my documentation and then headed on home. Once at home I had a very light snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A calmer day

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. Around 08:00 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Millersburg. Then around 10:05 hours the pager went off for diabetic problems in Halifax Borough. Dohn and Carol handled the 08:00 hour call and Bill joined them for the second call. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then watched a little tv. I got dressed around 12:00 hours and headed into the "Barn" to do the minutes from last nights heated meeting. When I got there, Dohn, Carol, and Bill were there. I went into the office and I finished some paperwork up from last nigth until Dohn and Carol left. After thet left, I talked to Bill for a little bit and then he left. I then typed up the minutes and did a quick cloest inventory and then looked at a few websites, and then left for home around 14:30 hours. I got home and talked with my mother some and watched a little tv. My father then came home and I went with him out to Hiem's so we could talk while his truck was being worked on for routine service. We talked some out there and then we headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finihsed eating dinner. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. The night of the outburst

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 06:30 hours. I got out of bed and I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed around 07:15 hours and then put the cooler in my mother's car and then we left the house around 07:30 hours to head to Harrisburg for our doctor's appointments. We got down there around 08:10 hours and we left there around 09:00 hours. After we were done there, we headed over to the Dollar Tree and my mother got a few cards, and then we went to the Giant down there. After that I went to the bank and cashed a check and added some money to my savings and checking account. After that we went over to Wal-Mart and we did our monthly shopping for food. After we were done there, we headed on home. When we passed the "Barn" I saw that the unit was parked out back by the office and Bill's truck was there. When we got home I hepled bring the food in and then I called Bill and had him check the siren on 13-1 and my fears were confirmed when I was told that one speaker was blown out on 13-1. So I called my father and let him know and then I called Keystone and talked with them and they are going to send the part up. After that I made lunch and watched some tv. I got on the computer at 15:00 hours and played a game. My mother took Toby to the vets at 16:00 hours then my father got home shortly after she left. My mother then came home. I ate dinner around 17:00 hours and we left at 18:00 hours for the shed in my car. When we got there, Viv was already there. We got in and I did a few things and then the meeting started at 19:30 hours., Kevin Fischer from Aflac talked for about 30 minutes, and then we started the meeting. The meeting lasted about 1-1/2 hours long and ended up being adjourned by my father as it was getting out of hand, as a result of a loaded question that was asked. We left there around 21:30 hours and headed on home. I talked to Bill some after the meeting and then Sue called the house around 24:00 hours and I talked to her for 37 minutes about what went on tonight. New Jersey State Firemen's Convention

Around 02:10 hours last night the pager went off for a fall person in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I was still up so I started getting dressed and so did my father. We got in 13-1 and went responding. We got as far as the end of our street an 20-1 went responding and placed us in service. So we went around the block and parked it back in the driveway. We went inside and I went to bed. I got up this morning at 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got up and ate breakfast while I read the paper. I then got on the computer for a little bit and then got dressed and left the house around 08:50 hours and headed to the hose house for training. I got there and nobody was there. I waited until about 09:15 hours and then I left to go into Giant. I went in there and I got bread, milk and iced tea and then headed on back home. I stopped at the hose house one more time before I headed on home, and no one was there. So I headed back home. When I got home, I told me father and he said that he knew. I asked him how and hse said that Bubba had sent him an email saying that they were going to the New Jersey State Firemen's Convention this weekend. Boy was I pissed. I asked my father why he had not told me this before hand, and he did not answer me. After that I called Sue's house and left a message that my father needed another braclet. I did this so she could bring one home tomorrow night if they have any ready, and give it to us at the meeting tomorrow night. So I got back on the computer until 12:30 hours, when I got off to make lunch. I made lunch and around 13:05 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Upper Paxton Township. Dohn and Carol headed into the "Barn" and they got in 13-1 and went responding. I reset my pager and sat down to watch the race from New Hampshire Raceway. Ryan Newman won the race. Boy what a wild race with a lot of temper's being tested to thier limits. I am getting ready to eat dinner and to hit the old email and surf the net. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:45 hours when the phone rang. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate breakfast while I read the paper. After that I watched a little tv and then got on the computer and did a few things. We left the house around 11:45 hours and headed for the "Barn". My father dropped me off and he went back home to get his cell phone. I took the cooler in and put ice in it and then I went back to the office and Bill was finishing up his tripsheet. I got on and did mine from yesterday's call. After that we headed on down to watch the little kids play football. Whem the midget's came on for the second half, the pager went off for a traumatic injury in Halifax Township. We went responding right away. We got there and we were going to fly the lady, but then we decided not to an cancelled the chopper. After we got her loaded up, we took her down to Hershey Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off and then went and got disiel and then went back to the "Barn" to log our times in and restock the unit. After that we headed on home. Once at home I got online and I made a sandwich. Around 19:54 hours the pager went off for back pain in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I got my boots on and me and my father got in 13-1 and off we went. We got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We came home around the mountain. We passed Steve's house and I saw a moving truck and cars. I was confused by this as I did not recieve a call that he was moving in today. Oh well, Sue and Steve probally got all caught up in packing and loading the truck up that they forgot to call me, and that is no big deal. We stopped at the shed to log our times in and I did my tripsheet. After that we headed on home. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Stupid piece of Shit

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and around 02:30 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Penn Township, Perry County. We were cancelled about 7 minutes later and I rset my pager and went back to sleep. I got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate breakfast while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of football. Around 16:00 hours my father came home and he took my mother up to the Gratz Market. I was at home playing on the PS2 when around 16:10 hours the pager went off for a seizure person in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I pulled in right behind Bill and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and Scott was on the scene. After he brought the little girl over into the ambulance, the pager went off for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township. I asked Bill if he would be ok by himself in the back with the medic and he said yes. So with that I got in Scott's truck and we headed back to the "Barn" to pick up 13-2 and headed on up to Millersburg. We got back there and got in 13-2 and off we went. The siren was not working again and thw whole way up to the scene, I tried to get it to work, by tunring the siren off and on, turning the red lights off and on, and even beating the siren control panel to see if that would get it to work. It did not. So we got up to the scene and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and pulled my time up along with the time's for the first call and then Scott ran me out to Dohn's house so I could get my car. We got out there and I talked to Dohn for a little bit and then got in my car and headed on home. Once at home my father left to go pick up the unit and bring it out to the house and I moved my car. I then came inside and took a shower and then ate dinner. I then watched two episode's of "Trauma, Life in the ER". I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Sue, where are you?

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I laid in bed for a little bit and ended up falling back to sleep again. I got up the second time at 12:15 hours. I got out of bed, got dressed. I then ate lunch while I read the paper. After I was done reading the paper, I headed into the "Barn" to do my tripsheet on the refusal from yesterday afternoon's accident. I got there, and Carol and Bill were already there. I went back to the office and Bill was finishing up his one tripsheet from yesterday. After Bill was done, I got on to do my tripsheet. While me and Bill were back in the office, Dohn showed up. About 20 minutes later, Dohn came back and said that we had a Pt. in a car out front. I saved my tripsheet on Quicktrip and we both went out front to see, and sure enough, there was a car sitting. We got the lady loaded up and I advised county of what we had and that we were heading to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz so Bill could get something to eat and then we headed back to the shed. When we got back there, I logged my time in and then finished my tripsheet. I left there around 15:45 hours and headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played a little football. Around 16:45 hours the pager went off for a call in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. Millersburg was able to get their second crew out and we were placed in service. I then got back on the PS2 and then I made dinner and ate it while I played. Kim called around 17:45 hours and told me that pratice was cancelled for tonight and he asked me if I wanted him to come on at 18:00 hours instead of 21:00 hours like he was supposed to. I said that if he wanted to come on at 18:00 hours it did not bother me. After that I finished up my game and then I got off and took a shower. I then came out anf watched the end of the news and then watched "Trauma, Life in the ER". I just finished eating a light snack of apple sauce and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I hope Sue gets back online tonight so I can talk to her about this Saturday and see if Steve is moving in this Saturday, or next Saturday. A long scratch

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of football on Madder 2004. When it got to half time, I decided to go outside for my daily walk in the driveway. I got my boots on and grabbed my towel, and went outside. As I finished my 10th lap, the pager went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough at Polk Apartments. I went inside and got my radio and cell phone and then got in the car and headed to Carol's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We picked Bill up at the "Barn" and then continued up to the scene. We got there and got the guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hosptial. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Carol dropped Bill off at the shed and took me out to her place so I could get my car. After I got my car, I headed back into the shed and logged my time in, and then went up to Rite Aid and dropped of a perscription and then ran over to Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea. I then went back to Rite Aid and picked up my medication. I then headed on home. Once at home I finished my game of football and my mother brought my dinner back around 17:45 hours. I went out to the kitchen to pour my soda, when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I put my cup back in the freezer and got my stuff and got in my car and headed to Carol's house. I got there and passed Dohn as he was leaving to head into the shed to get the other unit incase we needed it. We did not need it however. After we go the lady loaded up we headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital. While I was down there, I ran into Steve and we talked for a few minutes. I found out the he finally closed out on the house this afternoon and that he was hoping to be moving in soon. After we got what we needed we headed on home. Carol took us out to her place to pick up our cars and then me and Bill headed back into the shed to log our times and tripsheets in. My father then showed up, followed by Dohn and Carol and then Scott. We all talked for about an hour and then we all left. A Pussy in my Pants

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed and got my stuff together and then left the house around 08:10 hours and headed for Harrisburg. I got to the eye doctor's around 08:40 hours, parked the car and headed on up to the doctor's office. I signed in and talked to the reciptoinst at 08:45 hours. I stepped aside to write the check ahead of time. About one minute later, the nurse called my name and I headed back, 30 minutes before my scheduled time of 09:15 hours. She did her thing and took me to a room, where another nurse came in and did a few more test, and then the doctor came in and looked at my eyes, told me that they had not changed drastically, gave me my prescription and I was done. A whole 30 minutes. After I was done there, I headed over to Wal-Mart. Once I got there, I headed back to the shoe department and looked at sneakers. They did not have a big slection and I did not find any sneakers that I liked. I then looked at the work boots. I found a nice pair of new work boots that look like the ones I currently have. So I tried them on and they fit, so I bought them, and I also bought a new pair of boot laces, to replace the ones on my current work boots. After I was done there, I went to the Harrisburg East Mall. I went to Payless Shoes, and they had a very shitty selection of shoes, so I then went to the Shoe Department. I walked in and there was a cute girl running the counter. I looked around until I found a nice pair of Reebook's that I liked and they were on sale for only $29.98. So I got them and then headed over to my grandparents house. I stayed there and visited with them for about 3 hours and I left their house around 14:10 hours and headed on home. Once I got to the triangle, I went back to Sue's house to drop off her CPR card. When I got there, Lori was there with the two kids. I walked up the driveway and Eros started barking from the picture window, and Lori's little girl saw me and ran over and opened the door up. I asked her if her mother was home and she said yes and I came in. Lori was laying on the sofa in the den sleeping and did not hear me come in. Her daughter went down and woke her up and she was a little shocked to see a man in the house, until she realized who it was. Boy I tell you if the daughter would not have woken her up, I could have touched her foot, and scared the shit out of Lori probally. After I left there, I stopped at Sheetz and got gas. While I was fueling up, Brush 29 went by with it's lights and siren running. I then stopped at Scott's work and dropped of his CPR card. I asked him where 29 went and he said that 216 had a brush fire. Boy was I pissed that I had missed the brush fire on my day off. We talked a little bit more and then I headed to Rite Aid to pick up a phone card for my cell phone. After I got that, I went to Giant and got a gallon of iced tea. After I left Giant, I stopped at Susie's house and gave Jessica her mom's CPR card. I then headed for the "Barn" to put Bill's card in his bin. I got there and put his card in his bin and then logged on to see all the calls they had today. They had 4 calls, abd transported two of them. The first two that they were cancelled on were for Klingerstown and Dalmatia in that order. My father then showed up and he asked me to help him with a few things. So I did, and then Viv asked me to pull 13-2 out, so I did. Then Dohn, Carol and Bill showed up and the five of us talked for a little bit. We all then left at the same time. Once I got home, I showed my mother what I had got and then put them away. I ate dinner while I watched "That 70's Show" and the News. I then watched "Trauma, Life in the ER". I just finished adding air time to my cell phone and am getting ready to go in for my hair cut. After I am done there, I have to go to Giant again and pick up a few things for my mother. Today's Specail is Accidents

Went to bed last night around 01:45 hours and was rocked out of bed around 04:45 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I layed in bed for a few seconds then got up and started getting dressed as well as my father. We then got in his truck and headed for the "Barn" to get the second unit as they were calling for both units. Scott, Dohn and Sue got on 13-1 and took off and we were not fae behond them with 13-2. We got there and there turned out to be no injuries. So after I checked on the tractor trailer driver, we headed back to the shed, and 13-1 was not far behind. I pulled up the call to take a quick look at the remarks and then we headed on home. Once at home, I went back to bed and fell right asleep. I was rocked out of bed again at 07:15 hours for an accident with injuries in Jackson Township in front of Gunder's Grub House. I got out of bed and started getting dressed, As I was getting dressed, the house siren went off. I got my boots on and got in my car. I called Carol on the portable and let her know that I was heading to the scene. Once I got on the scene and assessed the call, I called County EMS on my cell phone and cancelled Medic 6 as they were not needed. 13-1 showed up and I was surprised to see who was sitting in the passenger seat up front. It was SUE! They got out and she got a blood pressure on the guy and then we got him on a backboard and loaded into the ambulance. We took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Dohn stopped at the McDonald's on Front Street so Sue could get a cup of coffee and something to eat, then we headed back up home. We dropped Sue off at the "Barn" and she left to go home and get cleaned up and go to work. I pulled the times up while Dohn logged our times in, and then he took me out to my car. I then headed om home. Once at home, I walked 20 laps in the driveway, and then came inside and read the paper. I then got the mail around 12:00 hours and then I made lunch and watched a little tv. I got on the PS2 around 13:00 hours and got off around 18:00 hours. I ate dinner while I played. I just finished taking a shower and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Company 13, responded to Station 216 for a 5 year old chicken in cardiac arrest

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got upt his morning at 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got up and ate breakfast and then I got dressed and headed up to the hose house. When I got up there I started getting charcoal together to take down to the pit. Other people started showing up then. Bubba then showed up and pulled the tanker out and then the utility. We loaded most of the stuff onto the back of the Utility and took it down to the pit. We got the fire going and got the chickens on. Around 09:20 horus the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Borough. About 6 minutes later I heard my dad pull out onto Armstrong Valley Road and head towards town. About 10 minutes later he called me and asked me to come in and pick him up and take him out to his truck. So I got in my car and ran in and picked him up and ran him out to Dohn's house so he could pick up his truck. I then went back to the hose house. We sold out of chickens around 11:30 hours. They really went fast this time. I left there around 12:45 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate my chicken half and then got on the computer for a little bit. Around 14:15 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. Dohn and Carol headed in to the shed to pick up 13-1 and went responding. The emdic got there and the lady changed her mind and did not want to go down, so he cancelled us and handeled the refusal himself. Then around 15:45 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Dauphin Borough. Dohn and Carol went responding and they actually made it down there and took the lady to Hershey Hospital. Around 16:00 horus I got dressed and headed into the "Barn" for CPR tonight. People started showing up around 16:45 hours and we started class around 17:15 hours. Class lasted for about 1-1/2 hours. After wards, me Bill, Sue and Scott went back to the officer and talked for a while. I left the shed around 19:45 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eatting a light dinner. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. We are Penn State

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got up and read the paper. I then got on the internet and surfed the net some. I made lunch around 12:30 hours and I watched the Penn State football game. Penn State beat Cinncinati 42-22. After that I got back on the internet and finished a few things up. I then at dinner and around 17:55 hours me and my father headed to Dohn's house to pick up 13-1. We got there and we talked with the for a little bit and then we went into the Great Wall, where my father got dinner. After that we headed on home. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got upt this morning around 10:00 hours. I got dressed, ate breakfast and read the paper. I then went outside and walked 20 laps on the driveway and got the mail. I then came inside and got on the internet for a little bit and then got off to play a game on the computer. My mother then went up to the vets to pick up April's medication and then she came home. Once she got home her an me were reading some article online, when around 16:57 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries and entrapment in Halifax Township. As I ras getting my radio, Carol called and told me that the units were at the station. So I got in my car and headed for the shed. Dohn and Bill took off for in 13-1. Scott and Kim went to the scene and when I got to the shed, I got in 13-2 with Carol and off we went. We got there adn 13-1 was working on the lady from the van while everyone else worked on the girl in the car, who I happened to know from school. I went and stayed with her mother who also knew me. After they put the girl in Life Lion, we placed the mother on a backboard and headed on down to University Medical Center. Once down there, I went and talked with the husband, other daughter and son. After we got what we needed we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz and dropped of some equipment that the medic had left in the uint. We then went back to the "Barn". Once there I logged my time in and got my times for the call. I then ran up to Rite Aid and dropped off a prescription and then ran up to Sheetz to get gas which is now $2.89 a gallon. I then went back to Giant and got a gallon of iced tea and then went back to Rite Aid and picked up my medication and then got as milkshake from McDonald's. I then headed back to the shed and did my tripsheet. After I was done Sue called and told me the score, we beat Line Mountain. I then headed on home. Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this monring when one of those freakin jest from the gap flew over the house at a low altitude. So I got out of bed, got dressed and read the paper. I then walked 20 laps outside and got the mail. I then came in and ate lunch while I scanned some pictures onto my computer. I then got on the net and surfed a little. My mother got home around 15:00 horus and I helped her bring stuff in. My father then came home and told me that Engle's had picked up 13-1 and were taking it up there to see what the problems was. I then got off the net and started to play a game on the computer, when the pager went off for a fall person in Williamstown Borough. I got in my car and headed for Dohn's house. I got as far as into the square of Fisherville when the police department up there, placed EMS in service. So I turned around and headed back home. Once back home I got back on the computer. Around 17:45 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. The house was on the street above me, so I went to the scene, while Dohn and Bill broight 13-2 out. They showed up at the same time as Medic 6. We got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then Dohn took me out to my car. I then made the very short trip home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a light snack. You killed it

Last night around 18:30 hours the pager went off for a Cardiac Arrest in Reed Township. Me and my father started getting dressed and I called Dohn and Carol to make sure that they heard the call and were going. We then got in my car and headed for the scene. By the time we pulled up, they had just called a Signal 12. So we thanked the fire department and they left and we all stayed behind to talk to the husband and wait on the funeral home. While we were waiting, the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township. Me and my father stayed behind, while Dohn, Carol, and Bill got in 13-1 and took the call. The funeral home showed up around 20:30 hours and we helped them load the body into their vehicle. When then made sure the husband was ok and asked him if he needed anything to which he said no. So we left and swung by the Reed Township monhtly meeting to let them know that we would get them a report on the cattle truck accident shortly and then left for home. We stopped at the "Barn" and I logged our times in and then we headed on home. Once at home I finished up online and went to bed around 02:30 hours. I got out of bed this morning around 10:45 hours, got dressed and headed on into the shed to meet up with the guy from NAS to take a look at the computer that had the virus on it. He was there for about an hour and then left. I then headed on up tor Rite Aid to drop of the camera from 13-2. I got up there and parked and got out and started walking towards Rite Aid, when the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. So I turned around and got back in my car and headed for the station. I had Carol and Bill pick me up there and we headed on up. We got there and Medic 6 was already there. We got her loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. I took the squad down to Sheetz and then jumped on the rig. After we got what we needed down at Harrisburg we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then stopped to get disiel. While we were filling up, Bubba pulled in with the tanker. I talked to him for a little bit and then we left. Once back at the shed I logged my time in and then headed up to Rite Aid to drop the camera off. This time I got to drop it off and then I went over to Giant and got some hot dog buns. I then headed back to the station. Once back at the station I emptied the trash and took it out and then walked 20 laps inside the bays. I then did a few things on the computer, when the pager went off for a Phsycoscamtc in Halifax Township at the Elementary School. We had Carol pick us up on the way in. We got there and after some moving around, we got him loaded up and took him down to Hershey Hospital. After we got what we needed down there we went out to the unit and it would not start. We ended up calling Dohn and he called Triple L and he brought 13-2 down to pick us up, We waited about an hour until Triple L showed up and got the unit all hooked up and then Dohn showed up and we transferred the equipment to it and then we left for home following 13-1. We got back to the station around 20:00 hours. I called my father and he came on in. I ran up to Rite Aid and picked up the pictures and then went back to the shed. I logged my times in and then headed on home. My father brought 13-2 home also. I just now finished eating dinner, the first food I have had all day long. Boy what a night last night. What a weekend it has been with that search and rescue Friday night and then this accident yesterday evening stretching into the early morning hours. I finally crashed in bed this morning around 04:00 hours and petted my cat for a little bit and then feel asleep. I woke up this monring around 12:00 hours, got out of bed and ate a light lunch and read the paper. I then watched a movie online and then got on the computer around 16:00 hours. I am soon getting ready to eat dinner and hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Were Familiar

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 10:10 hours for bleeding in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed, got dressed, grabbed Amanda's t-shirt, took my medication, got in my car and headed for Dohn's House. I got there and Dohn and Bill picked me up at the bottom of their road. I got in and off we went. We got there and it was a lady that we have taken often. Medic 6 showed up and was released by medical command. We loaded the lady up and headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at the "Barn" and I logged my time in and pulled the time up for Bill, while he logged the call in and restocked the uint. After that we headed on out to Dohn's house. Once there, I talked to Carol and got Sue's t-shirts, then walked down to my car and headed for Sue's house. When I got there, Bob was out in the driveway, waxing Steve's car. I took the t-shirts inside and gave them to Sue and gave Amanda her t-shirt. I stayed and visited for a little bit. Sue gave me money to gvie to Carol for the t-shirts. After a while I said goodbye to everyone and left and headed for Carol's house. I stopped there and dropped of the money and talked with Dohn and Carol for a little bit. I then left and headed for home. Once at home my mother came outside and we walked 20 laps around the driveway. After that I went inside an I read the paper. I then watched some TV and had a banana to munch on around 15:20 hours. I then got on the computer and did a little typing and then ate dinner. I then took a shower and went out to watch "Trauma, Life in the ER". We turned the station on, and come to find out that it is not on. Oh, I was so upset. So now I am back on the computer, getting read to hit the old email and surf the net. I was getting ready to do my email but was interupted when the pager went off for an accidene with entrapment in Reed Township. I got dressed as well as my father and we both got in our own vehicles and headed for the "Barn". My father picked up Deb in front of her house and then picked up Sue at the firehouse. Me and Dohn took 13-2 and headed on down to the scene. We got there and the guy did not want to be checked out so they had nothing to do. I got some pictures of the truck on it's side and then, me and Dohn headed back to the station to pick up rehab supplies. We picked up the rehab supplies along with Carol and headed back out to the scene. We got back there and they were still working on getting the cows out of the trailer. At 22:49 hours, Deb and Sue headed on back in 13-1 and left me, Dohn, Carol, and my father at the scene with rehab. After a little bit company 29 came back with their trailer and they had brought snacks, soda and a grill to cook hot dogs and hot sausages on. Things were going good until the owner of the cows came back to the scene and procceded to go to Alfe and bad mouth and critizie him for not moving fast enough. Well that was all it took to set Alfe off. He told everyone to pack their stuff up for they were done. My father tried to talk to Alfe and PSP, but to no avail on PSP's part. I went over and talked to the gentelman and ended up giving him a piece of my mind. Scott came over and pulled me away and then my father told me to go relax for a little bit. So I went over and sat on the back of Scott's truck tailgate while the FD packed their stuff up and headed on out. They did leave two pieces of equipment to provide very minimal lighting. A crane then came in to remove the truck from the tracks. While this was going on a Working Structure Fire was dispatched for Millersburg Borough. I listned to it for a little bit and then they marked control. We got otu of there around 04:00 hours. I am doing very minimal stuff right now and am going to be very soon hitting the sack. I guess all the sexy ladies will have to wait until tomorrow night to talk to me.

Happy Birthday Bro!

Last night while I was talking to Sue, around 23:06 hours, the pager went off for breathing problems in Wayne Township. I said bye to Sue, then me and my father got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and met up with Medic 6 and then went down to Holy Spirit Hospital class 2. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at his unit and then went back to the "Barn". I logged our times in and did my paperwork on the call, while my father changed both "M" tanks in the unit and put a new "D" tank in also. After we finished we went up to Shell and got disiel. After that we headed on home. We got home around 02:40 hours and I finished up a few things on the net and went to bed around 03:00 hours. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:45 hours when the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. My father got up and took 13-1 into the station and Deb and Kim got the the shed and took13-2. After they got out, I reset my pager and went back to sleep. About 15 minutes later the pager went off again for Medic 6 to assist 13-2 and for any avaiable 13 personnel to assist at the scene. So I got out of bed and got dressed, and got in my car and headed for the scene. When I got there, it looked like the guy had gone into cardiac arrest. 13-2 was parked in the driveway, Sue's car was parked along the road on the left side of the driveway, Scott's truck was along the road with his lights on, on the right side of the driveway, I pulled in behind Scott and had mu blue light on, and then Dohn pulled his truck behind my car and had his red lights on. Then medic 6 showed up. We helped carry the guy down the staris on the reeves and then loaded him into the ambulance and they went on their way. I talked with Sue for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then I made breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the net for a little bit and got off around 12:00 hours and got ready to head down to my grandparents house for my brother's 29th b-day party. We got down there around 13:10 hours and we took the stuff in and then we ate around 13:40 hours. My brother cooked out on the grill. After we ate, he opened up his gifts and then me, my mother, brother, and grandmother played four games of Upwords. I won two games, my mother one a game, and my grandmother one a game. After that we had the ice cream cake. Boy was it good. We left there around 17:45 hours and headed on home. On the way home, we stopped at giant and I picked up a few things and then we headed home. Once at home we unloaded the car and I took a qucik shower. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I might be heading over to Sue's house a little later on to visit with Amanda and give her, her shirt. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy laides want to talk to me just give me a buzz.

Search and Rescue

Around 22:06 hours last night the pager went off for a search and rescue detail in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and both me and my father got in 13-1 and off we went. We told Sue to head to the scene and we would meet her there. Scott got ahold of us on our private and told us to stop at the "Barn" and pick up some rehab supplies. So we stopped and picked up water and ice and loaded the stuff into the unit and headed to the staging area. Once we got there, my father started setting pu the rehab area. I took the unit portable over to Alfe since Scott and Sue were going to be helping with the search and rescue aspect of it. I then went back to the unit and got out the reflective vest and put it on so team members would know that I was EMS. I then talked to Sue and gave her the money for the 5 bracelets that my dad took into work. She then took off with Scott. About 30 minutes into the search, the kids were found by their mother, walking back along the road from Dollar General. So with the news we started breaking down the rehab area. Scott and Sue came back and we talked for a little bit and then Sue headed on home and we were right behind her. We stopped at the shed to log our times in and get my times and do my tripsheet. When we got there we found out that the computer that we do the tripsheets on was infected with a virus. We spent two hours last night working on it to no avail. We left there arouind 00:54 hours as my father was starting to get angrey and so was I. So we headed on home. Once at home I got back on the internet and did a few things before going to bed. And boy this diet has really gotten me on an emotional roller coaster. When I came home last night I felt depressed and very down. I was depressed that I would never find a nice girl and settle down with her. I was also feeling lonely. I went to bed around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:00 hours. I got up ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed and me and my father headed into the shed to work on the computer with the virus. Bill showed up around 11:20 hours. He was there for about 10 minutes when the pager went off for a sick person at SLV in Upper Paxton Township. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We just got out of town, when 20's second unit got out and we were placed in service. So we went back to the station. We got back there and went back to the office, and I sat down to fix a tripsheet, when the pager went off for a unconscious person at SLV in Upper Paxton Township. So we got back in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there right in front of Medic 6. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, Jim had us stop at Wendy's so he could get something to eat to keep his blood suagr up. We all got something to eat, I got a soda and some fries. When then headed back home. We dropped Jim off at Sheetz and then headed down to the field for the midget football game. We got down there and they were on the second half of the Pee Wee's game. We stood by and had an uneventful game. We left there around 17:30 hours and headed back to the shed. Once back there i fixed my one tripsheet and then did the paperwork on the search and rescue last night. After that we headed on home. We stopped at Dohn's house and picked up our extra t-shirts and then headed on home. Once at home I had a light dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email anf surf the net. Amanda's Back in Town

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours again and woke up this morning around 12:00 hours when Carol called to let me know that Dohn was brining the unit out to the house. I got up, got changed, ate lucnh and read the paper. I then went out and walked 20 laps on the driveway and then came back inside and went back and got on the PS2 to play some NASCAR Thunder 2004. I was on maybe 10 minutes when the pager went off for a fall person in Lykens Borough. Damn. We were going in place of medic 6. I got on my car and headed for Dohn's house. I got there and Bill pulled in shortly behind me and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and loaded he lady up and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. From the sounds of it, it was a busy time of the day for upper county. Medic 6 had all of their units out, Millersburg's crew was out, we were out, Williamstown was out of service, so Tower City took a call for them. After we got what we needed down at Holy, we headed on home. As we were leaving Holy Spirit, we heard over the radio a call for abdominal pains in Halifax Borough. My father called me on my cell phone and asked me where we were. I told him we were still in Camp Hill and that Carol was home. So they both headed for the station and got 13-2 and took off. They loaded their Pt. up and took them down to Harrisburg Hospital. We stopped at the "Barn" and I logged my time in and got Bill his times, and then we headed back out to Dohn's house. Once out there we got our cars and Dohn took 13-1 back into the shed and I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and finished my game. I got off around 18:00 hours and came out and watched "That 70's Show" and the news while I ate dinner. I then watched "Trauma, Life in the ER". My father got home with the unit around 19:00 hours and then he ate dinner. Carol called the house around19:50 hours and said that they were home and that she had our t-shirts. So I got in my car and went out to their house and got the t-shirts. We talked for a little bit and then I headed back home. Once at home I finished watching the second "Trauma, Life in the ER" and ate my snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I am glad to see that Amanda is home for the weekend. Maybe I will run into her at some point, but hard to say. I will be on late tonight, so if any sexy laides want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

I need six more

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed around 04:30 hours for a fire alarm in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and was dicking around some cause I knew we would get cancelled, but my father was running around getting dressed in a hurry. So I final got dressed and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got into the town of Millersburg, when we were placed in service, just like I knew we would. We went back to the "Barn" and dropped the unit off and we pickmed up my father's truck and headed on home. Once at home I went back to bed to try and get some more sleep. I got to bed around 05:15 hours and was once again rocked out of bed this morning around 08:30 hours for a CVA in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and got in my car and headed for the shed. I got there the same time that Dohn did. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We ended up placing medic 6 in service and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. After I gave the report, the one lady from registration asked me for the guys information so she could register him. I gave it to her and she siad that the laptop computer on the stand was not working and to come into the registration room. So I went in and she went through her whole bit again and I gave her all the information that I had and she called me "Awsome". I think she was flirting with me. After we got what we needed we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got disiel. It cost us $82.00 for a half of a tank. After that we headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my times in and got my times and then did my one tripsheet from yesterday. Bill then showed up as I was doing my tripsheet and the three of us talked for about 45 minutes. Then we all went our different ways. I headed on home and made lunch and read the paper and watched some tv. I then went outside and walked 20 laps on the driveway. I then went back in and watched some more tv coverage of Katrina. I then went out to our one friends house and helped my mother unload a Holly Bush from her van and then headed back home. My father then came home and I ran him back into the shed so he could transmit and I could do my tripsheet from this morning. After we were done there, we headed on home. Once at home I was sitting there watching the new when around 17:20 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Jackson Township. I got in my car and headed for Dohn's hosue I got there and was followed by Bill. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and all the lady needed was helped up which we did and then went available. Dohn took us back to our vehicles and I ran into Choice and got gas for $2.99. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate dinner while I watched "Trauma, Life in the ER". Getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net.
