Farewell to 2005!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:30 hours when Amanda called my cell phone to talk to me and thank me for the christmas gift that I got her. I then talked to her for for a few minutes and then she hung up. I got out of bed and I made and ate lunch. I then read the paper. After that I then got on the PS2 and I played Midnight Club II. Around 15:45 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township at Camp Hebron. My dad got in his truck and headed into the "Barn". My father, Bill and Carol took the call. It ended up being a refusal and after he took care of a few things in there, he came home. He then sat down to read the instructions for his Comflict, Vitenam game for the PS2. At 18:03 hours we put it in the system and it started up, but we did not get to play it. At 18:11 hours the pager went off, followed by the fire pager for a structure fire in Jackson Township. I went running ovet to my room, threw my running suit off, put on jeans, t-shirts and shoes, grabbed my wallet and then headed out to my car. My father was getting his bunker pants on, and I thre his jacket and helmet in the trunk of my car and then we both got in and headed on up to the hose house. We got up there and Bruce and Robbie were already in the tanker and took off. I got out and got my bunker pants on and grabbed my jacket and helmet and headed inside. I went over to the engine and eric got out of the officers seat and I jumped in and looked over and my father was sitting in the driver's seat. After he figured out how to start the engine, we went responding. As we pulled out of the station, I heard county say that someone was reporting that flames were through the roof. As we passed Wil's house on Enders Road, Chief 29-2 held the box to Company 216, as it was a controlled burn. So we continued on in. As we arrived on scene, a 19 year old kid, ran into the back of an SUV that was stopped for the fire police. So I got out and went over and checked on the people and told Robbie to have EMS come out becuase the one drive was complaining of some back pain. So Dohn and Carol came out and ended up that the guy did not wanted checked out now. PSP then showed up on the scene. We were out there for about an hour, until both vehicles were moved off of the roadway. After that we headed back to the hose house and backed the engine in. We then got out and we talked for about 20 minutes with the rest of the guys. We then went outside and I got out of my bunker pants and we headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and am going to watch my father play his game on the PS2 and then get back on to check my email and surf the net. Now for a quick rundown of the year 2005. In 2005, I saw 4 deaths of people that I knew. Brandi West, Hilda, my Uncle Earl, and John Bradnt. 2005 also saw time to celebrtate. With Amanda gradurating high school, Amanda going off to college, the birth of Brayden, Amanda becoming an EMT, and Steve and Lori getting the house. In world news, you had the bombing of London, the hurricanes along the Gulf Coast, and the war in Iraq. At home you had Fisherville get a new tanker, Halifax getting a new tanker, us getting a grant to buy a new unit, the purchasing of a new unit, and elections were held once again. As we look ahead to 2006, there is the arrival of our new uint, Amanda gradruating from college, and the unknown. I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year and hope everyone had a blast in 2005, I know I did. Happy New Year Everyone!

6 More to go, to reach 600

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:30 hours this morning, for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and so did my father and then we got into my car and headed into the "Barn". We got in there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got on the scene at the same time as Medic 6. We got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. The medic's partner was not at Sheetz when we went by, so we went back to the shed to and he waited on his partner to come and pikc him up. I logged our times in and then pulled the times up for the call and then I did my paperwork for the call. After that we took the unit home. Once at home I laid down in bed to take a small nap and woke up about an hour later and read the paper and then ate lunch. I then watched some tv. Around 14:20 horus the pager went off for diabetic problems in Halifax Township. Me and my dad got in 13-1 and off we went. We picked up Bill at the station and then continued to the scene. We got there and they lady was sitting in the car, unconscious. SHe had a low blood sugar. Medic 6 showed up and he pumped her with some Dextrose and she came around. She ended up being a refusal. After we were done there, we went back to the station. I logged our times in and then my father mopped out the back of the ambulance while me and Bill made the stretcher up. The three of us then talked for a little bit and then we both headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer and did a few things while I ate dinner. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Slowly drawing to a close

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and I got up around 05:54 hours this morning to use the restroom. I had just come back over into my room and layed down in bed, when the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. So I kicked the covers off and got dressed and my father did the same thing. We then both got in my car and we headed for the "Barn". We got in there and got in 13-1 and off we went. After we went responding, county asked us if we would have a second crew or would the other unit be out of service. I advised county that I would check on that and let them know. So I first called Dohn and asked him if both him and Carol would be available and Dohn said that only he would. So I then called Bill and asked him if he would be available and he said yes he would. So I advised county that we would have a crew for the second unit. Once we got up to the scene, we got the giy loaded up and we took him down to Osteo. While we were on our way down there, we got hit for chest pains in Jackson Township. Dohn and Bill took that one and they took their Pt. to Harrisburg Hospital. Once we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We passed 13-2 at the top of the mountain, they were heading down and we were heading home. We stopped at Shell and got disel and then we headed back to the shed. Once at the shed I logged our times in and pulled the times up for the call. I then put the tripsheet in the folder and then my dad did a few things, and then we headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then headed back into town. I went to Rite Aid and I dropped of a perscription. I then went over to Giant and got a gallon of iced tea. I then went back over to Rite Aid and picked up mt medication. I then headed on up to Sheetz and got gas, and then headed back to the shed to do my two tripsheets. Dohn was already there when I got there and he was doing his two tripsheets. While he did that, I updated the closet inventory and then I dad a few things in the computer. Once Dohn was done, I slid over and started my two tripsheets. Dohn left shortly there after. Once I was done with my two tripsheets, I headed on home. Once at home I made lunch and I ate it while I played Medal of Honor: Frontline on the PS2. I ate dinner while I played that and got off at 18:00 hours to watch "That 70's Show" and the evening news. Then around 18:50 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed to Dohn house. Once there I got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and the trhee of us got out. The guy was a refusal for us, but he took a ride with PSP. He hit the tree with the right front of his truck and pushed the right front side in pretty good. After we were done there we headed back out to Dohn and Carol's house so I could pick up my car. I then headed back home. Once at home I took som trash out and I emptied the trash cans. I then ate a light snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net, I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk, just give me a buzz.

Wrestling Tournament

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got out of bed at 06:30 hours this morning when my alarm went off. I got out of bed andI got dressed and ate breakfast. My father was already up, dressed and had already eaten breakfast. We then left the house around 07:20 hours and headed into the "Barn". As we turned in, Bill was just parking his truck around back. I parked the car and we went inside. I got the box of ice packs out and we put a box of combi-pads, traingualr bandages, and 4x4's in 13-2, along with a box of large gloves and a box of extra large gloves. Dohn then showed up as I was pulling 13-1 out of the shed. My father and Bill took 13-2 in and me and Dohn had 13-1 for the day. Once at the school, we parked 13-1 by the loading dock out back by the band room entrance and plugged the unit in. My father then parked 13-2 out along the side of the mat room. We then all went over to 13-2 and we got out the stretcher, first due bag, backboard bag, a backboard, CID's, the box of ice packs, the boxes of combi-pads, triangular bandages, 4x4's large gloves, and extra large gloves. We also grabbed the bag of band-aids out of the unit and we took all of this inside and parked it beside the table that the school provided us with. There was a total of 17 schools at the tournament today. They included the following: Boiling Springs, CD East, Cedar Cliff, Cedar Crest, East Juniata, Halifax, Harrisburg, Juniata, Littlestown, Mifflinburg, Northern Lebanon, Newport, Palmyra, Penn Cambria, Red Lion, Sealinsgrove, and Susquehanna Township. We had our regular stuff during the day, bloody noses, cuts, had a couple of kids get pooked in the eye. We gave out a lot of ice packs. Around 09:20 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough. Me and Dohn got our jackets on and headed on out to the unit. Just as we stepped outside, MICU 6-5 went enroute and told county that they would handle and to place us in service. So we went back inside and sat backdown to watch the match. Then around 11:19 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Elizabethville Borough. Me and Dohn got out jackets on again and went out to the unit and got in it and went responding, and Ambulance 6-6 went responding right afterwards and placed us in service. So we backed the unit back into position, and plugged it back in, and went back inside. Me and Dohn decided to go get something to eat for lunch from the cafe. I got three slices of pizza and a Sprite. After we were done eating, we went back down to the gym and watched the matches again. Then around 14:30 hours, the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township. Me and Dohn got out jackets on again and went out to the unit and off we went. We got there and Carol was already on the scene. We got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. My father called my cell phone and told me that they would need some more ice packs out there. So we went back to the shed and I logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call and I put my tripsheet in my folder. We then grabbed some more ice packs and headed back to the school. Once there, we parekd the uint and plugged it in again and we went back into the gym to watch some more match's. I then went out and got something to drink and munch on for dinner. We were done by 19:30 hours and we loaded the stuff up into 13-2 and we all headed back to the shed. Once back at the shed, we unloaded the stuff from 13-2 and I logged the rest of my time in for the day and logged my father's time in as well. The four of us then talked for a little bit and then we all headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then I made a ham sandwich and got on the computer. Then around 21:15 hours I got off to watch a little tv and eat a light snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. A Mud Bog

Around 02:00 hours last night as I was getting ready for bed, the pager went off for diabetic problems in Halifax Township. So I got dressed again and so did my dad and we got in my car and headed for the "Barn". We got in there and we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and pulled into the driveway and the guy's son told us to pull up onto the lawn if we wanted to, which we did. Well needless to say, the ground was soft and muddy. We did not get the unit stuck in the mud, but it was a mess to walk in. Medic 6 showed up aslo and after we got the guy loaded up, we took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at his rig at our station and then put the unit away. I then logged our times in and pulled the times up for the call. I then put my tripsheet in my folder and we headed on home. Once at home I went to bed and fell asleep. I got up around 12:30 hours and got out of bed and got drsssed. I then got in my car and headed into town. I stopped at Giant and I got batteries for the Pulse Ox. I then headed back to the shed. Bill was already there when I got there. I put the new batteries in the Pulse Ox off of 13-1 and then I did my paperwork from this mornings call. Me and Bill then talked for a little bit and then we both headed for home. Once at home I got the paper and the mail and I went inside and I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played my new 007 game. I then feed the cats and made myself a ham sandwich and got back on the PS2. At 17:57 hours I went over to my room and got changed. Then at 18:15 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. Kim and Carol were on and they took the call. After they were on scene for a little bit, they called county and asked for some help with an ice problem. Fisherville was dispatched for some speedy-dry. I did not go, but I should have. Oh well. I then got off the PS2 at 19:00 hours and I took a shower. I just finished eating my snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Post Christmas, Day 1

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and I got dressed and then ate lunch and read the paper. After that I then got on the PS2 and played two games of college football with my father. Around 13:00 hours, Carol called the house and asked my dad if he could go on at 15:00 hours today for Dohn and he said yes. She also asked me if I would care to run tomorrow for the whole day. I could always use the money, so I said yes. The first game that me and my father played was Penn State vs. Northwestern. I won as Penn State with a score of 66 to 13. After that my mother came home from having gone shopping down in Harrisburg. My father then got changed into his uniform and then we played our second game. The second game was Penn State vs. Notre Dame. I won again with the score 58 to 7. During the second game, Scott texted me on my cell phone and told me that he was not feeling well and asked me if I could run for him tonight. I said yes that was not a problem. Me and my father also ate dinner while we played the second game. After that I took a look at some of the features of the game, while my parents watched the DVD "Chicken Run" that the family got for christmas. I then got on the computer around 20:30 hours and talked with Bill for a little bit. Then my father came back and asked me if I wanted to watch the DVD "Tank" that the family also got for Christmas. I said yes and let Bill know that I would talk to him later and then went out and watched the DVD. It is a very good and funny movie. I finally got to see the whole movie for a change. I just finished eating a snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Merry Christmas!!!!

Went to bed to last night around 02:30 hours. Around 05:27 hours the pager went off for a call at SLV and we were cancelled right away as 20 got out. So I went back to bed and got back up around 08:00 hours to open gifts up. My brother and mother were already up and my father got up shortly there after. We opened gifts for about 2 hours. I got a Penn State Blanket and Very Sexy gift set from Sue. Amanda got my a nice Bills mug and a lovely Bills fleece pull over. Bill got me a very nice EMT mug and the NCAA 2005 game for the PS2. I also got the complete collection of "The Sims" from my parents. My brother got my two games for the PS2. I also got some boot socks, undershirts, three calander's, a few books and some things to sit around. We then took a break and ate breakfast and then we opened up the gifts in our stockings. My brother then got his stuff together and loaded his car up and left here around 11:30 hours and headed on down to my grandparents house. I then got changed and and we loaded the car up and headed on down to my grandparents house. We got down there around 12:40 hours and we took things inside. Then my mother's sister and her husband showed up and they brought over some more gifts. I then helped my brother set those gifts out and then we sat down to eat dinner around 13:30 hours. We ate for about an hour and then after everything was cleaned up, we headed into the living room to open gifts. There were 8 of us that all had gifts to open up. My brother ran out first, followed by myself, then my father, my uncle, my mother, my aunt and then my grandparents brought up the rear with the most gifts. After that we had candy and cookies to munch on. My Aunt and Uncle left for home. We stayed until 18:00 hours and then we headed on home. We took some time to look at lights and then we went home. We unloaded the car and I put my things away and then I took a shower. I then ate a very light snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Christmas Eve

Went to bed last night around 02:39 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I played on the PS2 for about an hour. Then around 12:25 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Jackson Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for the "Barn". As I came into the square of Fisherville, Bill called me on the radio and asked me if I wanted him to go on early for me. I asked him if he was going to be ok by himself and he said yes, so I told him that he could go on for me now and that I owed him one. I went into the shed anyway and I logged my time in for the day and then I headed on up to Giant. I had just pulled into the parking lot, when Bill called me on the private and asked me to come out and help with lifting. As I was heading out to Straws Church Road, the pager went off for bleeding in Jackson Township. My dad and Carol took that one. I got to the Straws Church Road call and helped Dohn and Bill with lifting and loading the lady into 13-1. I then got in my car and headed over to the Ridge Road call for the bleeding, because it is a heavy guy that I knew they would need lifting for. Medic 6 had two units there and while I was there, Fisherville showed up with the engine. I was there for abour around 40 minutes and then we all left. I headed back into Giant. I dropped of a perscription at Rite Aid and then ran over to Giant and picked up a few things that my mother asked me to get. I then went back over to Rite Aid anad picked my medication up and then headed on home. Once at home I got changed and watched TV until my father came home and then we ate dinner. My brother showed up just as I finished eating my dinner. After I finished eating dinner, I started getting things together for my trip around as santa on the fire engine. I left the house around 17:15 hours and headed up to the hose house. Once up there I checked the chair our and then Bubba showed up. I then helped him get the chair on top of the engine and then other people showed up. While I was getting changed, they were setting the speakers up on top of the Utility. We left the hose house around 19:00 hours. We first went around Fisherville and then we hit two delvopments off of Tourist Park Road. After that we hit my two devlopments. We then headed on over to Enders and did Enders Grove Road and went around Enders. After that we did the two devlopments off of Miller Road and then we did the two devlopments off of Powells Valley Road. After that they took me up Ridge Road, down Dividing Ridge Road and then on to Jacobs Church Road and we pulled into the church pakring lot and I got down for the last time and got in the engine. We then went to Shell to get gas for the genrators and disel for the engine and utility. While they were getting fuel, I stood along the edge of the road and waved to people passing by. I had two cars stop and I talked to the kids in them. We then headed back to the hose house. Once back there I changed out of my suit and then I headed on home and took a shower. I then headed into church for Christmas Eve services. We got done there around 00:10 hours and I left and headed over to Sue'e house to exchange gifts. I got there and the house was dark, so I called Sue's cell phone and she answered. She then came outside to my car and we exchanged gifts and we talked for a little bit. After that I headed on home. Once at home I had a light snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be going to bed shortly so I can get up early later on this morning. Busy Day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom, then I layed back down in bed. Then around 10:30 hours the pager went off for back pain in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and I got dressed and then I got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got there and Dohn pulled in behind me and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Bill was at the shed when we got back. I logged my time and then pulled the times up on the call. I then started to do my paperwork on the call and Dohn had just left. I heard on the scanner county call 13-1 and ask Dohn if we were available for an emergency call in our district. Dohn said that yes we were. So at 12:45 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. Dohn turned around at the church and came back to the shed and picked me and Bill up and we headed on our way. We got there and then Medic 6 showed up and we got the guy loaded up and we headed on our way. I took the squad up to Sheetz and then jumped on and we took the guy down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time for the call and then I pulled the times up for this call. I then finished my paperwork from the earlier call and then headed on home. Once at home I went back to my parents room and layed down beside my mother in her bed to talk to her and read my mail. The two cats then layed on me as I talked to my mother. Around 03:20 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Upper Paxton Township. I got back in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We picked up Bill at the shed and then continued on our way. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the lady loaded and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We ran the medic back up to his squad and then headed back to the station. Once there we put the unit back inside and I logged my time for the call and pulled the times up for the call. Dohn then gave me a ride put to his house where I picked up my car and headed on home. Once at home I sat down and read the paper. Around 06:45 hours the pager went off for heart problems in Upper Paxton Township. I got back in my car and headed back into the shed. I got there and pulled in behind Dohn and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got disel and then ran the medic back up to his squad and then headed on back to the shed. Once there I logged my time for the call and pulled my times up. I then did my paperwork on the call. After I was done there, I headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and got on the computer. I had a few problems with my hard drive and shut my computer down and when I rebooted it, my screen no longer worked. So I shut the computer down for the night and decided to read a little bit before I went to bed.

4 More Days to Go!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours when my father called to ask me a question. I got out of bed and got dressed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched TV. My mother then came home around 15:30 hours and I helped her bring some stuff in from the car. I then came in and watched some more TV. Around 16:45 hours the pager went off for a traumatic injury in Halifax Township. So I ran back to my room and put my boots on and then got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got there and pulled in behind Bill and Bill unlocked the door and we ran in and got 13-1 ready. Carol then pulled up and I put us responding. Kim and Deb went to the scene and Kim told us that the driveway was icy and that we would probally need to put the chains on. We got about halfway up the driveway and the back end slid on us and we lost traction and started to slide backwards. So I got out to try and help Carol back the unit down the driveway. I then saw Kim walking down the driveway towards the ambulance and then I saw him slip and fall on the ice. So I made my way to the front of the unit and yelled to him and asked him if he was ok. Kim said that he was ok. So he got in the unit and backed it down the driveway and then he got in Medic 6's squad and went up with the medic and we turned the unit around. We then stopped by the driveway and next thing we knew the Medic said that he wanted a backboard and a c-collar ready. Then he asked for Life Lion to be flown and land at Station 29. So we got the things ready and they brought him down. When we got him on the stretcher, was when we noticed that it was a state trooper that we all know. So we got him loaded into the unit and then I got in the squad and took it up the road and turned around and came back down and followed the unit out to Station 29 and I got to drive it with the lights on!! We got to Station 29 and the fire crew was already there and had the landing zone set out. About 4 minutes later Life Lion landed on the ground and the flight medics got in the unit. We then got him loaded onto Life Lions stretcher and then the fire department carried him over to the chopper and put him in. After they took off, we headed back to the shed to clean the back of the unit up. I then mopped the back of the unit out and then I headed on up to Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea and then headed on home. I just finished eating dinner and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Get Better Steve!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:35 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. After the show was over I called Carol and asked her if Dohn was home yet and she said that I could go off and Bill would run. So I changed clothes and loaded the recycling stuff into my car and then headed into town. I went to the recylcing bins and dropped off cardboard and I did one bag of bottles. I then called Bill at the "Barn" and asked him what time the untis needed to be pulled out and he said by 13:00 hours, it was 12:30 hours when I called him. So I went over and moved the units out and then went back over to the recycling bins and did the other two bags of bottles. I then dropped a piece of mail off at the post office and then went to Giant and picked up a few things, then headed back to the shed to do the minutes for last nights meetings. While I was doing that the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. Bill went out and got in 13-1 and waited for Dohn and Carol to get there. Shortly there after I finished up and went up to community banks and filled out a little more paperwork for my savings account. I then headed on home. At 15:49 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I was at home and my dad called and asked me if I was coming in and I said yes. So I put my long sleeve shirt on and got in my car and headed for the shed. I parked and got in 13-2 with my dad and off we went. We got there and Medic 6 showed up and after they released the guy to BLS we took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged our times in and then pulled the times for the call. My father then went home and I did my paperwork on this call. After that I went to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. I passed my father on the way home, he was heading in to do his tripsheet from Sunday nights call. I took a shower and ate dinner. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Safe for another year.

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:00 hours. When I woke up I had pain on the right side of my head in the rear of the head. I got out of bed to go get some Tylenol and in order for me to even walk, I had to take my right hand and press it against the back of my head. I took some Tylenol and then I got on the scale and weighed myself. I lost 3 more pounds this past week. I then went back over to the bedroom and layed down in bed and tired to go back to sleep, but I was unable to. So I got up and I moved my car and then came inside and helped my mother get Toby in the cage and put him in her car to take him up to the vets. I then got dressed and then ate breakfast and read the paper. My mother then came home and I moved my car back in front of her car. I then sat down to watch my TV show. At 11:30 hours, the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. I went back to my bedroom and got my boots on and then got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got in there and went inside and opened the bay door up and unpluged the unit. I then retied my boots and then Dohn pulled up and I got in the uint and put us responding. We got up there and it took us about 30 minutes to get the lady down from the second floor and then loaded up and then we headed on down to Osteo Hospital. After we got her loaded the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. We did not have a second crew, and 20-2 was on their was back with Medic 6 and it was a class 1 call, so they took it. When we got down there, there was 5 units sitting there, and one sitting off to the side waiting to back in. So we pulled around and got in line and two units pulled out, and we backed in. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got diesel. We then went back to the shed. Once at the shed I logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call. I then did my paperwork on the call and then got things ready for the meeting tonight. I then headed on home. Once at home I watched the rest of my show and then I got on the computer for a little bit and I ate dinner while I was on the computer. My father then headed into the shed for the annual board meeting. I then got off and took a shower and then headed into the shed myself. I got in there and Bill was sitting at a table in the bays. So I got my stuff and set up shop in the bay for the meeting. The meeting went good and then the time for elctions rolled around. We had to vote on the President, Vice President, Secretary and the 3 Chiefs. The vote for the President was tied between my father and Susie. Kathy got Vice President over Bill. About that time the pager went off for a fall person in our district somewhere. Sue, Deb and Kim wrote down there votes for Secretary and the Chiefs before they left. There was a tie for Secretary between myself and Deb. Dohn got Chief A and Kim got Chief B and Scott Chief C. So it was up to my dad to break the tie between the President and the Secretaty. He broke the tie and he got President and I got Secretary. The meeting then ended and we had a short firemen's releif meeting. Everyone then left for home. My dad left, then Bill then myself. 1 MORE WEEK!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:26 hours. I had just layed down in bed and pulled the covers up when the pager went off at 02:30 hours for an assault in Millersburg Borough at the Millersburger Hotel and it was for Company 20 or 13. I layed in bed foe a few seconds and then I heard my dad over in his room getting dressed, so I kicked the covers off, sat up in bed, put my hearing aid in, put my glasses on, put my watch on, put my braclet on, 20-1 went responding. I then took my braclet, watch, and glasses off, and took my hearing aid back out, reset the pager, layed back down in bed, and pulled the covers back up and went to sleep. I then got up at 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then loaded the gifts into my mothers van. She then went to church and met up with my brother. My dad then came home. I then took a shower. I then made lunch and then got on the PS2 and played SOCUM II for a few hours. My mother then came home and my dad got a shower and they went down shooping in Harrisburg for a few hours. Once they got home I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. Quiet 42 hours

Went to bed last night at 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:22 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper and ate lunch and watched some TV. The cat then got on my lap and layed with me for 2-1/2 hours while I watched TV. I then helped my mother make some cookies and then I got on the PS2 and played for about 1-1/2 hours while I ate dinner. I then got off and helped my mother wrap gifts for down at my grandparents house. She is going to give them to my borther when he comes up tomorrow to go to church, so he can take them down and they will already be down there. I ate a snack while I helped her wrap and I watched some more TV. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I have had no calls in the 42 hours that I have been on duty so far. 8 More Days To Go!!

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper and watched my TV show. At 11:30 hours the pager went off for Seizures in Upper Paxton Township. I went out to my car and was getting ready to get in, when 20-2 went responding and we were placed in service. So I took the stuff off of my car, got the mail and went back inside to finish watching the rest of my show. I then ate lunch and played on the PS2 for about an hour. I then got off and helped wrap some of the gifts that my mother bought for the family, while she baked cookies. I watched TV while I wrapped and then my father came home. I wrapped for about 2 to 3 hours. I then ate dinner while I watched the news and "That 70's Show". I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Snow, Ice, and Rain

Went to bed last night around 01:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:58 hours when the pager went off for Seizures in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I pulled in behind Dohn and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and pulled in behind Medic 6. I grabbed the bag and headed into the house, while Dohn moved the uints around outside. It turned out to really be a Diabetic Problem with the guys blood suagr being 22. The medic pumped him full of Dextrose and we got a refusal on him. After we got the refusal, we headed back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and talked with Dohn for a little bit. After that we both headed on home. Once at home I changed and went back to sleep. I was rocked out of bed again around 10:48 hours when my cell phone rang. It was Carol and she asked me if I was at home. I told her that I was going to be busy for the day and that I could not run. She told me that as of that time, we were the only ambulance and upper county was Millersburg was out of service, Williamstown was all out and Medic 6 was all out. I then got out of bed and read the paper and watched my TV show. I then made and ate lunch while I played on the PS2 for a little bit. I then got off and put some windshiled washer fluid in my car and then filled the bird feeders up. I then got dressed and headed into town. I dropped off some mail at the Post Office and then headed on up to Giant. As I turned onto Market Street, the pager went off for Breathing Problems in Halifax Township. I went to Giant and got some butter for my mother and then headed on down to get my massage. I pulled into the parking lot and sat there for 2 minutes and 13-1 went by with Dohn, Carol and Bill on it. I then went inside and had my massage for 1-1/2 hours. When I was done they had a stocking with coupons in it ranging from 5% off to 50% off. I pulled out the 50% off. So I paid and then went outside and cleaned my car off. I then took my time heading home as the roads were partially covered with snow. Once I got home I put the stuff on my car to keep the snow and ice off of the windshield and mirrors. I then came inside and took a shower. I then got on the PS2 and played for about an hour. I then got off and ate dinner while I watched some TV. Single Digits

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:08 hours when the pager went off for a gas leak at the Dialysis Center in Milllersburg Borough. I got out of bed and started getting dressed. I then took my medication and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". When I got there, after I pried my frozen hands off of the steering wheel, I went inside and started the unit up awhile. Dohn pulled in and I put us responding and away we went. We got up there and the fire company and Medic 6 were already there. We were there for about an hour until all the Dialysis people got rides home, as the center was going to be closed for the rest of the day. After we were done there, we headed on back to the shed. When we went through Millersburg, the bank said it was 2 degrees outside. I could believe that!!!!! Boy was it ever cold this morning. Once we got back to the shed, I logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call and then did my paperwork for this call. I then went up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and read the paper. Then around 10:50 hours the pager went off for Seizures in Upper Paxton Township at the Family Dollar. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there an Medic 6 was already on scene. They told us that the guy would not be going down and that they could handle it. So we went available and headed back to Dohn's house. Once there, I got in my car and headed on home. Once at home I watched the end of my TV show, I then got on the PS2 and played for a little bit. I then made lunch at 13:00 hours and ate it while I played on the PS2. Around 14:50 hours, the pager went off for a sick person in Jackson Township. I turned the PS2 off and got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and Bill pulled in right behind me, and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were heading down to the hospital, the pager went off for a comercial AFA at Pro Plastics in Upper Paxton Township. We ended up getting canceled on it (big surprise there!). After we got what we needed down at the hospital, we headed on home. Dohn dropped us off at his house and we picked up our vehicles and we headed back into the shed. I logged my times in and pulled the times up for this call. After that I talked with Dohn abd Bill for a little bit and then I headed on home. Wrapping all done

Well lest see, Sunday night I went to bed around 02:00 hours and got out of bed at 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got up and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed and me and my mom got in my car and we headed on down to Harrisburg for our doctor's appointments. After we were done with them, we did a little shopping. We first went to Giant and then to the bank, then to Gabieral Brothers, and then over to Big Lots. We then headed on home. On the way home, we stopped at Rite Aid and then we headed on home. Once at home I got the mail and found out that my credit card came. So I went inside and I watched my TV show and then I activated my credit card. After that I was not feeling well, so I went back to my bed room and layed down in bed. About an hour later I got up and went over to the bathroom and I ended up vomiting. After that I went back over to the bedroom and crawled back in bed and fell back asleep. About 3 hours later I got up and went back over to the bathroom and ended up having dirrhea and vomiting at the same time. During that episode, I got extremly dizzy and at one point thought I was going to pass out, but I did not. I then crawled back over to bed and fell back asleep. Throught the evening I would wake up, usually get a drink of ginger ale, then roll back onto my side and fall back asleep. I called Bill and asked him if he could run for me tomorrow and he said he could run in the afternoon. I then fell back asleep and then called Dohn around 23:00 hours. He said that hw was able to run for a little bit this monring and I thanked him and then fell back asleep again.

I woke up this morning around 09:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate saltines and toast for breakfast and read the paper. I found out that my father had stayed home from work today because he was not feeling well. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I sat down and started my wrapping. It took me about 5 hours to do all of my wrapping. I wrapped around 48 gifts this year. After that I got on the PS2 and played a game of football while I ate dinner. After that I took a shower and just finished eating a light snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. All Gifts Are In

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours. Around 01:58 hours the pager went off for breathing Problems in Jackson Township. Dohn and Carol were on, so I grabbed the pager and layed down in bed and listened to the call. I fell asleep while I had the pager in bed and woke up about 2 hours later when I heard it talking and I found it laying in bed. So I reset it and put it back in the charger. Then around 08:45 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township. Deb and Kim were on so they took the call. I layed in bed and listened to the call. After Medic 6 went on scene, I reset my pager and went back to sleep. I woke up at 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then watched a movie with my father. At14:00 hours, me and my dad got on the PS2 and played a game of football. I won of course. After that we both at dinner and then got changed into uniform and headed into the "Barn" for training tonight. Bill was already there when we got there. We set things up and then Dohn and Carol showed up followed by Sue. Carol did her tripsheet in the office and then left. Class tonight was on how to respond to WMD, and it lasted 3 hours. While class was going on, it snowed off and on. When we left it was snowing big flakes. It has now stopped snowing and it only lightly covered the roads, nothing much. All Stuffed Up

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:30 hours. I got out of bed and I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played for about 2 hours. I got off around 11:30 hours and ate lunch and watched Tv until 14:20 hours. Around 14:00 hours the pager went off for a structure fire in Halifax Borough. I went back and grabbed the fire pager and listened to what was going on. It tunred out that the caller did not know what Borough they lived in and the fire was really in Gratz Borough, so everything was placed in service. At that time I got dressed and me and my father got in my car and headed into the "Barn". Bill was already there when we got there. The three of us talked a little bit and then we all got in 13-2 and headed on up to Millersburg. We got up to there house and parked the unit and plugged it in. We then went inside and talked with Deb, George and Heather. They all left at 15:00 hours and we watched TV for 2 -1/2 hours/ At 17:30 hours, we headed on over to the church for the dinner. We got there and talked with quite a few people and then we had dinner at 18:00 hours. They had Turkey, Ham, Filling, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Green Beans, Applesauce, Rolls and Punch. Then they had Ice Cream for desert. After desert they had drawings for prizes and they read a story to the children. We letf there around 20:00 hours after we siad our goodbyes and headed on back to the shed. We got to the shed and parked the uint and I logged our time in and we headed on home. SNOW, SNOW, and more SNOW

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and my mom woke me up this morning around 08:15 hours. She said that my father had called and said that he heard Millersburg go out on a call. So I got out of bed and got dressed and went outside and shoveled a pathway to my car from the side porch. I then cleaned my car off and went back inside. I had just sat down in the chair when the pager went off around 08:55 hours for a chimney fire in Middle Paxton Township. I slowly got my jacket on and then 12Q said that they would handle the call. So we were placed in service. I then ate breakfast and was getting ready to read the paper, when the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. So I got in my car and I headed into the "Barn". The back roads were ok, had some spots that could have been better. The main road was pretty good. Once again there were a few spots that could have been better. I pulled in behind Dohn and Bill pulled in behind me. Jack was there plowing the parking lot out. We all got in 13-1 and went responding. 6-8 then called us and asked us if we just wanted them to handle the call since they were almost in Millersburg. We said ok and we turned around and went back to the shed. Aftwr we parked the unit, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then watched my TV show. Around 11:25 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough at the health center. I got in my car and headed back into the shed. I got there and pulled in behind Dohn. Bill was already there and had the unit warmed up. Me and Dohn got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got diesil and then ran the medic up to the health center so he could pick up his squad. We then headed on back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time and pulled the times up for the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played until my father got home. Once he got home I went outside to help him with the snow blower to clear off the driveway. We spent about around 2 hours on it and then came inside. I then ate dinner while I played on the PS2. Around 01:48 hours last night the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. I was still up, so I quickly changed into my uniform and got my boots on and my father did that samething. We then got in his truck and headed into the "Barn". Once we got in there, we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and Medic 6 was right behind us. We got the guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We met MICU 6-8 at the shed and dropped the medic off and then put the uint inside. I then logged our times and pulled the times up for my call. I then threw the tripsheet in my bin and we headed on home. Once at homeI got ready for bed and hit the sack around 04:15 hours. I got up this morning around 10:45 hours. I got out of bed and got changed and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. After that I headed into town. I stopped at the recycling bins and dropped off a few things and then went to the shed. Carol and Bill were already there. I went back to the office an I did a few things. Carol then left and Bill finished up with his tripsheets. I then did two tripsheets from the CO2 alarm from last night and then did the paperwork on the call from this morning. After I was done with that, I talked to Bill for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I helped my mother hang bird feeders up outside and fill them up with birdseed. While we were finishing that up, I heard UPS coming down our street. He made two stops and then pulled into our driveway. I knew what he was brining. It was our NC's and NRB'S. So I loaded them into my car and then headed into town. My mother asked me to stop at Dollar General and pick up a few things, which I did and then went back to the shed. Once there I logged in the supplies and put them in the closet and then headed on home. Once at home I brought the gas cans up from the shed so my dad could go get gas for the snow blower. I then went inside and got on the PS2 and played Grand Theft Auto III for about an hour. I then helped my dad move the snowblower into the basement and change the bulbs in the floodlights on the house. After that I came back inside and ate dinner while I continued to play on the PS2. My dad went for gas and came back home. I got off the PS2 around 18:00 hours and watched "That 70's Show". I then took a shower. The Shed is up, finally

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:30 hours for abdominal pains in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and I got dressed, took my medication and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I came over the hill before Dohn's house and he was waiting to pull out, so I flashed my headlights and let him go in front of me. I tucked in behind him and we both pulled into the shed at the same time. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We got to the scene and loaded the guy up and headed on down to Osteo. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time and pulled the times on my call. Bill then showed up and I went out to change 2 dome bulbs in 13-1. I got one done and as I was taking the last screw out of the second one, the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. I quickly put the screws back in and threw the stuff in the office and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and we cancelled medic 6. While we were sitting there, the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Borough at Boyer Apartments. Dohn was able to get ahold of Carol and I jumped on with the medic and we headed into the scene. We got on scene and Carol pulled up right behind us. We got the lady loaded up into the unit and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, Carol told me to head on back with Dohn and Bill since she could no longer run. So I got on 13-1 and we headed on back home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time and pulled the times up for the call. Dohn then changed the M tank on 13-2 and I restocked a few items on 13-2. While we were doing that, the pager went off for a Fire Alarm in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. We went responding and were placed in service right away. So I went back and did my two tripsheets and then headed on home once I was done there. When I got home, most of the shed was up. The walls were up and the roof was on. It took them about 3 hours to build and they got finished around 16:00 hours. I then got on the PS2 and played Grand Theft Auto III until the pager went off at 17:00 hours for a CO2 alarm in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed on into the shed. It was kind of neat, we had a little parade going. Bill was up ahead a little ways with his blue light on, next was Dohn with his red light on, then Warren with his red light and siren on, and then I was behind Warren with my blue light on. I pulled into the shed and Bill had just pulled in and so did Dohn. We all got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the 4 kids and the mother loaded up and took them down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then went up to Sheetz and got gas. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Fill it out online

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I got dressed and loaded a few things into my car and then me and my mom headed on down to Blue Cross. I got down there and went inside and went over to the security guard like I was supposed to. I asked him for an application for the position in the mail room. He asked me if I had access to a computer and I said yes and he gave me a card and said to go online and fill out an application and it would be filled elctronically. So I went back out to the car and we left. We stopped at my mom's sisters house and she dropped off some gifts that my Aunt had asked my mother for. After that we headed on home. We stopped at Community Banks and I opened up a saving account. After that we swung by Giant and my mother picked up a few things. We then headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played Grand Theft Auto III. I just got off and I just finished eating dinner. I do get my hair cut tonight at 20:30 hours and then I will be back online after I take a shower. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. The Tree is up

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 09:50 hours. I got dressed and then headed into town. I stopped at the Post Office first and picked up two books of stamps for my mother. I then went to Giant abd picked up a few things. I then headed back to the "Barn" to do my tripsheet from last nights call. Dohn was there loading O2 tanks into his truck. I talked to him a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. We then brought the tree upstairs and we set it up. Then around 12:45 hours the pager went off for a Chimney Fire in Halifax Borough. I got in my car and headed into the shed. I pulled in and Dohn already had 13-1 pulled out and Bill was getting in the front seat. I got in and we went responding. We got there and Tom was already on the scene in his POV. The engine pulled in shortly after us. We were there about maybe 15 minutes before they placed the box in service. So we went back to the shed and I logged my time in and talked to Bill for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I finished putting stuff around the house and then we got the decorations down from the attic. After that we took a break and I got on the PS2 and played Grand Theft Auto III and ate dinner. After that we spent about 2 hours decorating the tree. I then got on the computer and did my resume for tomorrow. I just finished taking a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Holly, What did you do?!?

Around 12:10 hours last night the pager went off for an accident with entrapment in Jackson Township. I went to the side door and saw that it was snowing out. My dad got his boots on and we got in his truck and headed into the "Barn". We took our time going in there, as it was very slick. We got in there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got out there and Engine 216 was there along with a few people's POV'S. We got out and I was told that the driver was drunk and that he was sitting in the back of the engine. So I walked down to the engine and when I got there, he was ont sitting in the back of the engine. So I went down and talked to Robbie and he said that he had put him in his truck. So I went up and looked in his truck and the guy was not there. I let them know this and we all kind of figured out that the guy bailed on them. So I went to the ambulance and got out a flashlight. Then myself, Thomas Pottiger, Robbie Stoneroad, and Jamie Stoneroad started following the guys tracks. We followed them down through a field where we found one of the guys shoes, stuck in the mud. We then followed them back into the edge of the woods and we saw them lead to a small creek that ran through the woods. At that point we stopped as we did not want to go through the creek and be out all night looking for this guy. So we went back and told everyone what we found. Shortly after that, me and my dad left. We took the unit back into the shed and then headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and the internet. Then around 02:50 hours the pager went off for an accident person at the scene of the accident. So I got ready and so did my dad and we got back in his truck and headed back into the shed. Once we got there, we got in 13-1 and off we went. We staged at the Grub house and Robbie brought the Pt. up to us. Here it was Holly. She had been directing traffic at the intersection of Rutter Road and Armstrong Valley Road when she saw a truck heading straight towards her. She jumped out of the way and laned on her right side on the bank. After she got up she knew that she hurt her right wrist and right hip. So we got her loaded up and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there and we said goodbye to Holly, we headed on home. I fell asleep in the front of the unit on the way home. Once we got back to the shed, I logged our time in and pulled the times up on this call. I then threw it in my folder and we headed on home. We got home around 05:35 hours. Once at home I went to bed and fell asleep instantly. I got up this morning around 12:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then got dressed and headed into town. I swung by the hose house and saw that Dave was there. So I stopped and asked him how Holly made out. He said that she had a sprained wrist. I talked with Bubba for a little bit and then I headed into town. I went to the post office first and got a book of stamps and mailed out my christmas cards. I then ran up to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk. When I came out I saw Bill getting in his truck and I went over and talked to him. While I was talking to him I saw Dave and Holly go into Rite Aid. After I was done talking with Bill I got in my car and headed back to the shed. Once there I did my paperwork on Holly from this morning. When I was done with that, I went to do the thank you letter to the township and the pager went off for a CVA in Jackson Township. I pulled the unit out and then went back into the office. Just as I walked in, Carol called and asked me if I could go in place of Deb and I said yes. After I hubg up, Viv called and asked if I was going and I said yes. I then went out and got in the uint and waited on Scott to show up. Once Scott showed up, I put us responding and off we went. Travis Enders was already on the scene and he placed ALS in service. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I did the tripsheet and logged my times and then did the thank you letter. I then mailed the letter and went bad got gas at Sheetz. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating dinner. The pager just went off for Chest Pains in Millersburg Borough. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. It looked like a convention

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning when the phone rang. After I was done talking, I got out of bed and got dressed. I then went and got the paper and read that. After that I made lunch and ate it while I played Grand Theft Auto III on the PS2. After that I got on the computer to print out my address so I could do my christmas cards today. As I was printing them out, the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township at McDonald's. I got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Dohn pulled in right behind me and Scott went to the scene. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and Scott was there with ins truck and ambulance 20-1 was there. They were on their was back from the hospital and had Medic 6 on board. Once we got there and went inside, MICU 6-7 arrived on the scene along with Halifax Police Department. The lady did not want to go down. So after we got the refusal, I got a large vanilla milk shake and Dohn got a large soda. After that we went back to the shed and I logged my time in and did my paperwork for this call. After that I went home. Once at home, they were already home. I did my christmas cards and then ate dinner and watched a little tv. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:30 hours for an accident with injuries in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and took my medication and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I pulled in as Dohn was pulling 13-1 out. I parked and got in the unit and off we went. We got there and got the two kids loaded up and dad rode along down with them to Holy Spirit. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we were passing Fort Hunter, county called us and asked us if we were on our way back. I advised them that we were and they said that there was a call for us. So we were dispatched for a Diabetic Problem in Halifax Township. We went responding from the Dauphin area. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I updated the supplies list and then did the two tripsheets from this morning accident. Bill was there when we showed up and he had just finished his tripsheet when I walked into the office. After I got done with the tripsheet, I talked with Bill for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I talked to my mother a little bit. Then around 13:00 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Reed Township. I got back in my car and headed to Dohn's house. Once there I got in 13-1 and off we went. Bill met us on the scene. This was the same lady that we had just taken down Wednesday night. Medic 6 showed up and we got her loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic and Bill off at the scene so they could get their vehicles. After that we went back out to Dohn's house and I picked up my car and went back into the shed. Once there I logged my time in and talked to Bil for a few minutes and then headed back home. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the PS2 and played a game. Then around 16:50 hours the pager went off for heart problems in Halifax Township. I got back in my car and headed back to Dohn's house. We then went into the shed and picked Bill up and then continued on to the scene. We got there, followd by Medic 6 and we got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital class 1. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. While we were on Second Street, we heard 13-2 go responding and then on scene, and then ask county to dispatch medic 6 to the scene for alltered level of consciousness. Medic 6 then had county dispatch Medic 1 from the city to come up. By now we were on Front Street and Jim advised county that we would respond on that call. So we headed on up towards town. My father, Sue and Carol took 13-2 and once they got the lady loaded up, they met us at Reinhard's auto center, and Jim jumped onto 13-2 and went down with them to Harrisburg Hospital. After that, Dohn took me to pick up Carol's van in town and then I took it to the shed. I then got back on 13-1 and we went to the scene and Bill took the squad back to the station, while Dohn took me out to his house to get my car. I then headed back into the shed and I logged my time in and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate dinner. Then around 22:50 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. My dad headed back into the shed and him, Sue and Bill went responding with 13-1. They got on the scene along with Medic 6 and it ended up being a refusal. They then stopped by the house to harrass me. Sue, sorry I did not come out, thought my dad had brought the unit home and I was getting ready to come outside when you guys left. Oh well, I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Last night around 21:20 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Me and my dad got in his truck and headed into the "Barn". Once there we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got to the scene and got the lady loaded up and Medic 6 showed up and then we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We took the medic back out to the scene so he could pick up his squad. After that we went back to the shed. My dad changed the tank in the unit and I logged our times and got the times for the call and then did my paperwork on the call. After I was done we headed on home. Once at home he went to bed and I watched my TV show from this morning. Around 01:10 hours the pager went off for an overdose in Jackson Township. My dad got out of bed and got dressed and then we got in his truck and headed back into the shed to get the unit. We got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We were told to stage in the church parking lot. So we staged there with medic 6 for about 20 minutes. Once PSP said we could come in, we went over to the scene. We got the lady loaded up and took her back down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged our times in and then pulled the times up and then put the paperwork in my folder and we headed on home. Once at home I hit the sack and got up this morning around 08:00 hours. Ate breakfast and read the paper. Me and my mom then left and headed on down to Harrisburg area. We first went to the Bon-Ton and then from there we went to K-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Ross's, $5 and lower store, Moore's, Giant, Bank, Dollar Tree, Sam's and Wal-Mart. After that we went over to my grandparents house and dropped a few things off and then headed on home. I stopped at Rite Aid and my mother dropped off one of her prescriptions. After that we headed on home. Once at home we unloaded the car and I headed back into town. I stopped at Rite Aid and picked up my mother's medication and then went back to the shed to do my paperwork from this morning's overdose. After I was done with that I put a new brake light in 13-1, and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net.
