Transfer to Duncannon

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:34 hours when the pager went off for a transfer over to Duncannon Borough, Perry County. I got out of bed and got dressed, took my medication and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn pulled in shortly behind me. We both got in 13-2 and off we went. We got over to Duncannon EMS station and they said that they now had a few units available in the county and that we would not be needed. They thanked you gracisouly and we headed back to Dauphin County. We had come to find out that when we were first dispatched, every EMS unit in Perry County was out on calls. While we were leaving 29's station, Medic 6 got dispatched for an accident with entrapment in Wayne Township. We got back to the shed and we parked the unit and we went back into the office. The first thing I noticed was the empty boxes sitting outside the office door. Once inside the office, I noticed the note on the supply closet door. Well I was livde inside. I logged my times in for saturday and then looked up the times for the transfer and the times for the brush fire on saturday. Once Dohn left I looked in the closet and was livid once again as it was in the process of being re arranged. I left in a huss and headed on home. Once at home, I helped my mother get Toby in the cage and she headed up to the vets. I then ate breakfast, read the paper and watched some tv. She came home and let Toby out and then she headed into Giant to pick up a few things. She then came home and we watched out TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I ate lunch and did a few things online and then went through about 3 to 4 years worht of minutes, taking notes as I went. I then ate dinner and then me and my father headed into the shed to have a meeting with Bill and Sue on firemen's relief. Susie and Dohn were there and two heated arguments took place for almost 45 minutes. After that, me, Sue, Bill and my father had the meeting and then we headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Another car into a house

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:15 hours. I got out of bed and changed clothes and then I read the paper. My mother and father then left and went down to Costco's to pick up some cases of bottled water and a few other things. After I finished reading the paper, I made and ate lunch while I watched a Bill Cosby DVD I got for christmas. After that I got on the computer and did a few things online. My parents then came home and I helped them bring the cases of water in. I then got back on the computer and went through about 1-1/2 years of minutes. Then around 16:30 hours the pager went off for a fainting in Jackson Township. Scott and Kim took the call and took the lady down to Osteo, BLS. I then ate dinner and played a game on the computer while I ate. I then changed into uniform since I am covering for my father for about 2 hours tonight, while my mother and him go to a marriage class at our church. I am getting ready to hit the old emil and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just givr me a buzz.

County Utility 216 Responding

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into a running suit. I then read the paper and after that I made lunch and sat down to watch some tv. Around 13:30 hours the fire pager went off for Box 216-1 for a field fire. I jumped off of the love seat and ran back to my room and started changing clothes. As I put a t-shirt one, the ambulance pager went off for the field fire. Once I was dressed I ran out to my car and started it up. My father then got in after having goen downstairs and getting his gear on and off we went. We got up there and I parked the car and popped the truck and got out. My father got out and ran into the hose house and jumped on the engine and they took off. I then went around to my trunk and pulled my bunker pants out, pulled my shoes off and threw them in the trunk and put my pants on, then grabbed my jacket and helmet and she the trunk. I then went over and into the station. I went over and unplugged the utility and got in it. Then Dave got in the passanger seat, and I turned the master switch on and turned the key and waited until the little wait light went out and tried to start the engine. I did this like 7 times before it finally started. I then put us enroute and off we went. I pulled out of the station with the lights on and turned the siren on and left it on the whole way out to the scene. We got to the scene and I went up the lane and gave it some gas and went up a slight hill and parked the utility and put the emergency brake on. I then put my helmet on and got out. The engine was already there, along with Thomas (Chief 29-1). The engine had the trash line and a pre-connect off and both were running. I went down to the lower end of the field to where my father was and he gave me the nozzle on the pre-connect line and I stood there and held it. Brush 29 was the next piece to arrive on the scene, followed by Robbie (Chief 216-1), Tanker 216, I believe 13-2, Tanker 29 and then Engine 29, and towards the end, Bubba. We came to find out the the owner of the house, had got a pile of trash together to burn, set it on fire, and then went into Halifax for 25 minutes. While he was gone, he left no one there to watch it, and the wind got a hold of it and it took off. It burned about maybe a little under half an acre of the field. After awhile, Warren (Chief 29-2) told me to start wetting the field down, so I got some nozzle time in. I wet down the lower end of the field, and then Matt told me to start wetting the field down as I made my way back towards the engine with the line. I did that until the tank on the engine ran dry. We then broke the lines down and loaded them up on someone's pickup. I then moved the Utility and the Engine went down to get filled by Tanker 29. After the engine was filled, we all headed back. The engine left first, followed by us, then Bubba, then Brush 29. Back at the station, the engine pulled along side of the station so we could hose it down and clean the mud off of it. I went beside the old fire house and up along the hall and came around and parked it. When I got out I saw that I had gotten mud on the tires from going through the grass. So Bubba told me to take it for a drive to get all of the mud out of the tires. So I took it for a short drive and came back and parked it in the alley. After the engine was done they moved it in front of one of the bay doors and started packing hose on it again. They then brought the tanker down to hose it off and I took the Utility past the station and up the dirt alley and around and came back in on the road that runs between the hall and station and I pulled up behind the Tanker and I hosed the Utility down. After that we went over to start washing the hose, and Bubba told me to shut the Utility off. I told him that it was a bitch to start and them Robbie took me over and showed me how to start it. After that Bubba talked abotu a few things and then we set about washing the hose off. We did 6 sections of hose and then the engine was backed in. I then backed the Utility in and then me and my father headed on home. Once at home I changed clothes and then I took a nice cool shower. Best Report I Ever Heard

Around 22:50 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Millersbyrg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. Deb and Kim were on and they took the call. The at 23:00 hours the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Halifax Township. I started getting changed into my uniform and Carol called the house and my father answered. He told he that I was getting dressed. I then got in my car and took off originally heading for the scene. I got on the portable and I heard Scott calleing Carol, so I told him that I was responding to the scene. He asked me if there was a second person to get the unit and I said that I thought that Carol was coming in. He said that he would stop at "Barn" and pick up 13-1 and I would head to the scene. Well when he got there, I told him that I was just passing Kiner's and he told me to just stop at the shed then. So I pulled in and got in and off we went. We got there and Ambulance 20-2, Engine 29-1 and a few people from Millersburg were already on the scene and doing CPR. Me and Scott went inside and we took over CPR. Medic 6 then arrived on the scene and we continued to do CPR until the family said that the guy had DNR orders and they handed them to the medic, who then called medical command and told us to stop. Me and Scott stayed there to help the funeral home move the body and then we headed on back to the shed. Once back there I logged my time in an then did the paperwork on the call. While I was there, Deb and Kim got back and we talked for a few minutes and then they left for home. Once I was done with the tripsheet, I headed on home. Once at home I finished up my email and then went to bed around 03:00 hours. I got up this morning around 10:00 hours when Steph texted me. I got out of bed and got changed and got online and talked to her for a little bit. I then got off to watch my show at 11:00 hours. Around 11:30 hours the pager went off for seizures in Upper Paxton Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for the shed. I got there and Bill was already there and Carol pulled in behind me. We all got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and the lady did not want to go down to the hospital. While we were up there the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I called county and told them to let Medic 6 handle. Her family wanted her to go, but she was refusing to go. Then the lady went into another seizure and went unresponsive and we grabbed her and took off. I called county and had them dispatch ALS to meet up with us in Halifax. They sent over Perry Medic 81 and we meet at the high school. Before we meet, I gave her a report over the radio, and I found out tonight from Steph that the medic she was on with, was impressed with the report that I gave. So we were originally going to Hershey, but once Medic 81 got on board we went to Harrisburg. After we got what we needed down at Harrisburg we headed on home. As we were coming down the mountain Millersburg got dispatched for a structure fire. We dropped the medic off at the high school and while we were there, Engine 29-1 went by. They got cancelled anyway as the box was quickly reduceded. We then ran back up to the lady's house in Millersburg because we left the pulse ox and a stephoscope at her townhouse. We got up there and the manage was kind enough to let us in and apparently the kids had seen it and taken it with them to give to us when they got down to the hospital. Carol left a note for them to call us when they got back. We then headed back into Shell and got disiel for the unit. After that we headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and Bill did his paperwork on the call while Carol went to the store. Around 16:29 hours the pager went off for an eye injury in Halifax Township. Me and Bill went out to 13-2 and I started it up and Carol pulled in and we got in and off we went. We got as far as fourth street, and county called back and said that the family was going to take the kid down by POV and wanted to cancel us, so we were available. We then went back to the shed and the three of us talked for awhile in there, while Carol did some billing. All three of us then left and headed for home. Once at home I changed clothes and just finished eating dinner. I am getting ready to take a shower. After I am done with that, I will be hitting the old email and surfing the net. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got out of bed this morning around 09:15 hours when my mother called the house and told me that she was leaving the doctor's officer in town. So I got dressed and got in my car and drove out to Heim's to pick her up. I got out there and she pulled in about a minute later. After she took her keys inside, she got in my car and we headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then made and ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over the cat got on my lap and layed with me while I watched "Coach" for an hour. After that I turned on the history channel and watched that for two hours. Bill called around 13:00 hours and told me that Duane from the Sentinel was coming down around 16:30 hours to get a photo of 13-2. So at 15:00 hours I got on the computer and played a game until 15:50 hours and then I left and headed into Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and a gallon of iced tea. After that I went back to the "Barn". When I got there, Bill and my father were already there. Duane came around 16:30 hours and my father pulled 13-2 out so Duane could get some good pictures. Right after my father had gotten out of the unit, the pager went off for an oven fire in Upper Paxton Township. I ran inside and called Carol and asked her if she just wanted me and my father to take it since we were already in here and she said yes. So me and my dad got in 13-2 and off we went. We got as far as the Community Banks Headquarters when County said we were placed in service. So we turned around and headed back to the shed. Once back there, the three of us talked for a little bit and then we all left for home. Once at home I got back on the computer and played a game while I ate dinner. I then took a shower and ate a snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Busy Morning, Quiet Day

Around 00:00 hours last night the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. So I called Deb and Kims house and Deb answered and I asked her if she had heard the call, and she said that her and Kim were only on for the duration of the class last night. So I called Dohn and Carol's house and Dohn answered and I told him that I was just told that they were on for the night and he said ok and hung up. Medic 6 ended up taking in and Carol called back and I explained everything to herand she said that they would run for the rest of the night. So I went to bed around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:00 hours for diabetic probems in Halifax Township. I got on the phone and called Dohn and Carol and asked them if they had heard the call and they said that they did. So I then rolled back into bed and went back to sleep after I reset my pager. It ended up being a refusal again, one of our regulars. Then around 05:30 hours I was rocked out of bed again when the pager went off for a CVA in Millersburg. I rolled over in bed and again called Dohn and Carol and asked them if they heard the call and they said yes. So I rolled over back in bed and went back to sleep after I reset my pager. I then got up around 10:45 hours and I got changed and ate lunch while I watched my TV show. I then read the paper and watched a little tv. After that I went back to my room and got on the computer and started going through the old minutes of Company 25. I started in 66 and stopped on Nov. of 71. I then got changed into my uniform for tonight and ate dinner while I did a few things on the computer. After that me and my father went up to the Jackson Township building to talk to the manager about a few things and then came home. Busy Day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this moring around 07:45 hours for an accident with injuries in Reed Township, Perry County. I got out of bed and got dressed and took my medications and then got in the car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Carol was already there. Scott called down to county and asked if we were needed and they said no. So Carol had a few things to do and so did I. I left there around 09:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I weighed myself and I lost another pound. I then got breakfast and sat down to read the paper and watch some tv. Then around 09:45 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Jackson Township. I put my cereal back in the box and drank my glass of milk and then got in my car and headed for the station. I got in there and Bill and Carol were already there. I got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and Medic 6 was already there. We got her loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. As we approaced the intersection of North Second Street and Market Street, over on the other side of the street, a man was pointing at us. We saw a lady sitting on the street. So we went over and I advised county where we were at and that we had an unknown problem. County then dispatched Life Team to come out. We found out that she had been struck by a car. So we put a collar on her and got her on a backboard and trasferred her over to MICU 1-2 to take to Harrisburg. After that we continued on our way home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then we ran over to Shell and got disiel for the unit. After that we headed on back to the shed. Once there I logged my times in and pulled the times up for the call. Then the four of us talked for a little bit and then we all left for home. Once I got home I sat down to read the paper and watch some TV. I never got to read the paper as the cat got on my lap. Then around 13:40 hours the pager went off for a smoke in a structure in Millersburg Borough. I got in my car and headed to Carol's house and Bill pulled in behind me. We got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and staged until released by fire command and went back home. After I got my car I headed on home. Once back at home, as soon as I sat down, the cat was back on my lap. My mother then came home and I helped her bring some things in from the car and then I got to read the paper. I then got on the computer for a little bit and got off. I was talking to my mother when the pager went off around 15:00 hours for a structure fire in Millersburg Borough. I got back in my car and headed back to Carol's house. I got there and pulled in behind Bill and we got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and it was the same address and for the same thing, somke in the sturcture. We were there for about an hour and then was released by fire command and we headed back home. After I got my car, I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and ate dinner. Me and my father then left here around 17:30 hours and headed on into Station 29 for training tonight. We got there and other people started filling in. The class lasted for about 2-1/2 hours. After it was over, we headed on home in the winter mix that was coming down. Once at home I took a shower and had a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Day for accidents

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 10:15 hours for a fall person in Millersburg Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed, took my medication and got in my car and headed into the "Barn". Chief 20-C went responding as I was getting into my car. As I passed the Clugston Farm, Chief 20-C placed us in service as she could handle. So I continued into the shed and parked. Bill was alredy there and Dohn had just pulled in. The three of us talked for a few minutes and then Dohn headed on home to pick Carol up so they could go get 13-1 from Engles. I took that time to hang to pictures up back in the office. Then me and Bill talked for a little bit and then I headed on up to Rite Aid and got myself a phone card for my cell phone and then headed on home. Once at home I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours and read the paper. After my show was over I made and ate lunch and got on the computer. I added airtime to my cell phone and was doing a few other things. Then around 12:50 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed into the shed. I pulled in and Dohn and Carol pulled in behind me, and Bill was already there. He had both bay doors open and had both units started and was sitting in the front seat of 13-1. Scott had called us on the private and told us that he heard on the fire channel that there was only one patient. So Bill shut 13-1 off and got in the back of 13-2 and we took off. We got there before the fire department did. We talked to the lady and we ended up taking her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and the four of us talked. We then all left and I headed up to Giant to get a case of water for at home. After I got that, I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer to continue were I left off before. I was only on the computer for about 10 minutes when my father called the house and I answered. He told me that a school bus had been rear ended on Peter's Mountain Road and that he was still trying to get through traffic. So I told him that I would headed on into the shed awhile. After I hung up with him, I called Carol and let her know. I then called Bill after I got in my car and had started heading for the shed. When I passed Dohn house, he was sitting at the bottom of his road waiting to pull out, so Carol must have called him and let him know. So we all got in there and were standing around when the tones went off for the accident. Me and Dohn took 13-2 and Bill and Carol took 13-1 and we both took off. We got there and my father was already there, and Scott pulled in behind us. All the kids were ok and the guy in the car that had read-ended the bus was ok. He did take a nice ride with PSP according to my father. We were there for about maybe 20 minutes and then me and Dohn headed back to the shed, while Bill and Carol stopped and got disiel for 13-1. Once they got back we talked for a little bit and then we all left. I headed on up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and continued where I had left off earlier. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. I then took a shower. Just before I got in the shower, the pager went off for an Unknown Problem in Halifax Township. Scott and Deb took that call and took the person down to Hershey Medical Center. "The Bus" Rolls onto Detroit!!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. Then around 10:40 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Borough. Deb and Kim took that call. I ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a little tv. I then took a shower and got on the computer to start going through the log books that I got last night and to enter infomation into the computer for future reference. After I got out of the shower, my mother told me that Scott had called and he asked me to call him back on his cell phone. So I called Scott up and he asked me if I could cover for him until 21:00 hours tonight. Of course I said yes. So I got chnaged into my uniform. I got off around 14:55 hours and went out and got setteled in to watch the Steelers game. What a game it was. The Steelers really took it to Denver, winning in the end. It was a very good game and am sure that the Steelers will win the Super Bowl. I ate dinner while I watched the game. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net, while I continue to go through some of the log books. Hot Damn!!!!

Went to bed last night around 01:20 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bedn changed into my uniform and then ate lunch while I read the paper and watched some TV. After that me and my father ran into the "Barn" to pick up 13-2 and bring it out to the house. Bill was in there and the three of us talked for about 1-1/2 hours. After that we ran up to Giant and I picked up a loaf of bread and a gallon of iced tea. After that we headed on home. Once at home, me and my father worked on adjusting some of the shelves in 13-2. We also mounted the fire extinguisher in the unit. After that I got on the PS2 and played 007. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. Then around 18:10 hours, Bob Stoudt from Company 29 called the house and asked for me. I picked up the phone and he told me that he was digging through the loft in the station and he stumbles across some old minutes and fire log books, newpaper artciles and photo's. He said that he knew that I was into this kind of stuff and wanted to know if I had some time to come in and take a look at it. Of course I said yes. I took my plate out and told my father to get his boots on and that we were going into Station 29. We spent about 1 hours in there. I copied some newspaper articles, Bob gave me a disk with the pictures he scanned in, and he also gave me the old minutes, fire log book, and vehicle log books for me to look through. I was so excited. Bob then took a look at 13-2. After that we headed on home. My father stopped at Sheetz and got something to eat for dinner. We then went back to the shed and put 13-2 to bed, got in my father's truck and headed on home. I just finished eating a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. First call for 13-2!

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed at 05:34 hours when the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and did the five minute dance and then got dressed, took my medication and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and went inside and opened the bay door and started 13-2 up. Dohn then pulled in and got in and off we went on the first call with the new 13-2. We got on scene and Medic 6 was already there. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at the scene and he picked up his squad. We then headed back to the shed. When we got there, Carol already had 13-1 out and was wating for us to get back. We then headed up to Engle's to drop of 13-1 for it to be inspected. After that we ran up to Shell and got disiel in then ran over to Sheetz and we all got something for breakfast. After that we headed back to the shed. Carol then went home and me and Dohn went inside. I logged my time for the call and then pulled my times up. After that me and Dohn ate breakfast and then we decided to take a look at the lights in the office because some of them looked burned out. Well in the end, it is now worse then it was before. After that I did my tripsheet and then headed on home. Once at home, I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours and then I read the paper. After that I made and ate lunch while I played 007 on the PS2. Around 14:25 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Millersburg Borough. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got as far as Jody's house when 20-2 went responding and we were placed in service. So I turned around at the hose house and went back home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and I ate dinner while I played. I got off around 18:30 hours and I took a shower. After that I watched two hours of CSI and I ate a light snack. A relaxing day off

Went to bed this morning around 03:45 hours and fell right asleep. I got up this morning around 11:09 hours and I changed into a running suit and ran out and watched my TV show while I read the paper. I then talked to Steph online for a little bit. Around 11:55 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough at the health center. Bill, Dohn, and Carol took the call sine it was my day off. I then took a shower and then got on the computer and played "The Sims". While I was playing that my mother came home and I helped her bring a few things in from her car and then I got back on the computer. I ate dinner while I played on the computer and got off around 20:10 hours. I already ate a light snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. PSD (Painful Swollen Deformity)

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:30 hours for an accident with injuries in Upper Paxtown Township. I got out of bed, went to the bathroom and then got dressed and got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and pulled in behind Carol. We both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and there was 3 patients. MICU 6-3 had an ALS patient and ended up flying them out with the landing zone being at Station 29 and Stat Med-Evac flying the person out. MICU 6-8 had the other ALS patient and took them to Hershey and we had a BLS patient that we took to Hershey also. After we got what we needed down at Hershey, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz and both me and Carol got something for breakfast. We then stopped at Shell and got disiel and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then watched my TV show while I ate breakfast. After that I sent the list down to Lewis at Keystone, updated the closet inventory and called Tom Troutman to see if the new unit was on our insurance yet or not. After that I did my tripsheet from the accident and then I did the minutes for both meetings. After that me and Bill talked for a little bit and then we both headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and talked to my mother for a little bit. After that I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. Then around 19:59 hours the pager went off for seizures in Millersburg Borough. I got in my car and headed to the shed. I got there and pulled in behind Bill and Scott. Carol had already pulled 13-1 out for us and we all got in it and took off. We got up there and after talking to her and placing medic 6 in service took her down to Hrrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then me, Bill, Scott, Dohn and Carol talked for a while. After that I headed on home. Once at home I got online to do check my email and surf the net. Then around 23:45 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed in to the shed. I got there and went inside and started 13-1 up and Scott pulled up and got in and off we went. We got there and medic 6 showed up and they got on and we took the guy down to Hershey. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at her squad and then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then copied all my minutes from last year for both firemen's relief and regular association. While I was doing that a couple knocked on the front door. I went out and talked to them and they told me that they had broken down at the bridge by the park and wanted to know if they could use the restrooms and the phone, which I gladly said they could. I then let them stay inside to stay warm until there ride showed up. After there ride showed up I did my tripsheet for the call and then ran up to Sheetz and got a milkshake (very good, mmmm) and then headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the sack and got to sleep.

Interview

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 04:53 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Sue and Scott handeled the call and they took the kid to Harrisburg Hospital. After they went enroute to the hospital, I reset my pager and went back to sleep. I then woke up at 07:00 hours, got a drink of water and went back to sleep. I then woke up at 08:00 hours, got another drink of water and went back to sleep. I then once again woke up at 09:00 hours, and got another drink of water and went back to bed. Then around 09:09 hours, Steph texted me and asked me if we had a call this morning and I told her that sue had one around 04:30 hours I believed. She said that she thought so, she then asked me if I was working today and I said no and then she wished me luck with my interview. I then went back to sleep and woke up again around 10:20 hours. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom and then weighed myself and I lost two pounds this past week. After that I then shaved and trimmed my mustache. I then ate breakfast and read the paper while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After my show was over, I went to the bathroom again and I brushed my teeth and my some clougne on. I then got dressed and left the house at 12:20 hours, just liked I wanted to. I got down there around 13:05 hours, parked my car and headed over to the HR Department. I got there anc checked in and was takend into a room and did a twenty minute survey. After that I went back out and sat down and waited. The reciponist told me that my interview was at 14:00 hours and that the survey was to be taken before the interview. I got in around 14:05 hours and the interview lasted about 30 minutes. I think that the interview went very well, I had the lady laughing a few times, and she was very cute. After I was done there, I went back out to my car and called Sue and she told me that she never went to work and asked me if I wanted to meet her at McDonald's up here and I said sure. I then called Bill and he was at Harrisburg Hospital and I told him that I was done. I then headed on home. While on Second Street in the city, my father called me on my cell phone and told me that I needed to move his truck out of the bay because Tuesday Supper Club was in there. So I stopped at Sheetz first and got gas and then headed to the "Barn" to move his truck out of the bay. I got there and got the key and got in his truck and it would not start (I later found out that I had to push the clutch in for the truck to start). So I ended up pushing his truck out of the bay and over towards the parking spots out front. But I was only able to get so far before it became hard for me to push it back. About that time 13-1 showed up and Bill and Dohn helped me push it back over. I then moved Bill's truck around back and then got in my car, called Sue and headed for McDonald's. I meet her there and we had dinner and talked about my interview and a few other things. While we were sitting there, talking I saw my father go by in 13-2. So after me and Sue finished up, I went over to Giant and she went to Rite Aid. I got a gallon of milk, a gallon of iced tea and some sharp cheese for my mother. I then headed on home. I stopped at the shed to pull up the times for Kim and Sue's calls last night, as Sue told me that I-Net was not working last night or early this morning. Carol said that she got them, so I headed on home. Once at home I talked to my parents about how it went. Then around 17:36 hours the pager went off for a nosebleed in Halifax Township, Dohn, Bill and Carol took the call. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Backstabbing, maybe

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed and then ate breakfast and read the paper. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I helped my mother fill the bird feeders up and then I got on the computer and did somethings online. I ate lunch while I was on the computer and then I also ate dinner. Then around 18:10 hours me and my father headed into the "Barn" for the meeting tonight. Scott, Viv, and Bill were already there when we got there and Carol was not to far behind. Me and Bill talked some and then we helped move tables off of the one rack that was way over stacked with tables. Dohn then showed up. Halfway through the meeting, Kathy showed up, followed by Sue. The regualar meeting went very well I thought. Then came time for firemen's relief. Most of it went very good until we got to nominations. Dohn nominated Bill for president along with my father. Dohn also nominated Sue for vice president. Then Scott nominated Mike for Treasurer, but since he was not there to accept, he could not be nominated. Well that did not sit well with Dohn who started complaining right away. Dohn lost his argument. Well two new officers were put in tonight. Bill is now President and Sue is now Vice President. Me and Scott held our offices. Well after the meeting, me, Bill, Sue and my father talked off and on. Me and my father then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack. Around 22:54 hours the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Township. Sue, Scott and Kim took the call and took the lady down to Holy Spirit Hospital. Pack Up!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 07:30 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got breakfast and ate it while I checked a few things online. I then got dressed and went out and got the paper, and then I came back inside and read the comics. I then headed up to the hose house. I got up there around 09:02 hours and I parked my car and popped my trunk and took my gear inside the station. A few people were already there. We were there for about 45 minutes and then they pulled all the apparatus out. I put my bunker pants on and got smaller suspenders from Bubba. I then got a Fisherville jacket that fit me and I put my Halifax Rescue jacket back in the trunk of my car. We then all got on the pieces. I got on the engine and we all headed on out to Dave Foust's farm to do vehicle fires. We used his old demo car from the Gratz fair last year. Carsonville came over also to train and to also respond on any structure fires in the township, while we broke down the lines and got stuff repacked. We pulled the trash line off of the engine and then pulled a preconnect off of the tanker to use as a safety line. Dave then started a fire in the call and four of us packed up along with 2 from carsonville. I packed up for the first time and I got to play with the trashline on the fire. After each person hit the car, we would wait about 10 to 15 minutes to let the fire get going again, and add stuff to the car as needed to keep the fire going. After we played around with the trash line, we used the line off the tanker and started flowing CAFS. We then played around some with the CAFS and then we took a group picture. We then started breaking down both lines abd putting the air packs away. We then headed on over to a house on Small Valley Road, who had called county and reported that a tree on this guys property looked like it was going to fall any moment. It was funny, all three pieces from Fisherviller went out along with Carsonville's two engines. So there were like 20 of us standing there looking at this tree. We told the guy that it was a PP&L problem and to call us when the tree falls down and we will come out and cut it up. After that we headed back to the station. Once there, we all went inside and I cleaned the mask that I wore and put it away. I then took my bunker pants and boots off and put my shoes back on. I then took the 4 rolls of hose off of the tanker and layed them out in the bay to dry. Bubba then called in and order 5 pizzas, since we invited Carsonville back to our station. We then watched the Steelers/Colts game. The pizza then showed up and we ate while we watched the game. I stayed until half time. At half time, Carsonville left and headed on back to their station and then Bubba and Robbie took the engine and tanker into get fuel. So I then took my gear out and put it in my trunk and then got in my car and headed on home. I got home around 14:50 hours. I then went inside and told my parents what we did and then I took a nice, hot relaxing shower. After that I watched the rest of the game. It was a very good game, but the Steelers could have played better then what they did. They did win however and are moving on to face the Bronco's in Denevr next Sunday. After that I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3 and ate dinner while I played. I then got changed into my uniform so I could cover for my father while him and my mother went into something at church. They were gone for about 1-1/2 hours. I got off of the Ps2 around 17:55 hours and I got online. I then had a light snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Snow

Went to bed last night around 01:00 hours again, as I was really dragging ass again, don't know why I was so tired. I got up this morning around 10:50 hours and I got out of bed and got dressed and went out and sat down and started to read the paper. Around 11:30 hours the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and so did my father and then we both got in his truck and headed for the "Barn". We got in there and Bill was waiting on us. We all got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. On the way doen it started to rain. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped by at the fire museum to talk to someone about our memberships, but ther person we needed to talk to was not there. So we got back in the unit and headed back to the shed. Once there I logged our times in and my dad put a new box of XL Gloves in the unit and then we took the unit home. Once at home we moved my car and my mothers car around and then I sat down and finished reading the paper. I then g0t on the PS2 and ate dinner while I played Midnight Club 2. I got off of that around 17:45 hours and me and my father took the unit back into the shed. Once there, we parked the unit and then I made sure the heater was turned on in 13-2. By this time it was snowing and the wind was really blowing. After that we headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then the three of us played the Price is Right DVD edition for about 1-1/2 hours. I then ate a snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Inventory

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. Around 10:00 hours, Steph texted me on my cell phone and then I got up and got online after I got dressed and we talked for about 10 minutes. I then I read the paper. After that I made and ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I went out and got the mail and brought it in. When I came in my mother was haning the phone up and told me that was Bill on the phone. Here come to find out that the fridge at the station was not working now. So I headed on into the "Barn". When I got there, Bill was already there. We talked for a little bit and then he ran home to get his digital camera and then came back. Once he got back I pulled 13-2 out and he got some pictues of it. I then pulled 13-1 out and he got a few pictures of both units. I then moved 13-1 off to the side and I angled 13-2. I then angled 13-1 the other way and then Bill took a few pictures. It was at this time that I noticed that the white light in the center of the box up front was out. So I went inside and I got the bulb for that and the bulb for the fog light and the ladder and I replaced both of them. After that I then moved 13-1 off to the side again and I moved 13-2 straight ahead. I then nosed 13-1 into 13-2 and Bill took a few more pictures. After that I moved 13-1 to the side one more time, and I moved 13-2 so that the nose was facing the park. I then backed 13-1 up to 13-2 and Bill took a few more pictures. I then put 13-1 away and then backed 13-2 in. After that me and Bill rested for a little bit and then we took 2 hours and did inventory on 13-2. After that I went back to the office and I typed up the new inventory for 13-2. While I typed, my father stopped and the three of us talked for a little bit. Then while I was sti, Viv, and Jack showed up and started to look at the fridge. When I finished typing, I went out and Gary showed up also. Me and Bill sat there and watched then until we left around 17:30 hours and we headed on home. Once at home I talked to my mother and then I changed clothes at 18:00 hours and I got on the PS2. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. Around 18:15 hours the pager went off for a nose bleed in Halifax Township. My father got his boots on and got in his truck and headed on into the shed. Sue, Bill and my father took the call and took the person down to Harrisburg Hospital. After I finished eating dinner, I took a shower and then helped my mother put christmas decorations up in the attic. While I was doing that, Steph called on my cell phone and we talked for about 10 minutes and then she had to go. I then had a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. New Fridge

Went to bed last night around 01:10 hours as I kept nodding off at the computer, boy was I ever tired for some reason. I got up this morning around 10:00 hours and I got changed and read the paper. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. Then around 12:10 hours Lowe's showed up with our new fridge. To bring it inside they took the hardware off of the screen door, then they took the inside door off of it's hinges and then they brought the fridge in and put it in place and then put both doors back on. After that me and my mother took some time to look at the new fridge. It is nice looking, but it does look smaller inside then the old one was. I then took a nice relaxing shower. After that I made and ate lunch while I got on the computer and played the Sims's. I ate dinner while I played on the computer. I also ate a snack while I played on the computer. I got off around 21:20 hours. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just gice me a buzz.

The new 13-2 arrives!!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:35 hours for a fall person in Wayne Township. I got out of bed, did the five minute dance, got dressed, took my medication and then got in my car and headed to Carol's house. Once I got there, I got in 13-1 and off we went. Dohn headed on out incase we needed any help. We got there and Dohn was already there along with two PSP cars. The guy told us that he was ok and that he did not want an ambulance. So we went available and Carol took me back out to her house. Once there I got my car and headed on into Giant to pick up four cases of Pepsi One, a gallon of iced team, a gallon of milk, doritoes, and some chesse spread. After that I headed on home. Once at home I put everything away and I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After my show was over, I headed back on into town. I stopped at the Post Office first and got 45 2 cent stamps. I then headed on up to Sheetz and got gas for my car, and then I headed on back to the "Barn". Once there I started washing 13-1 in the rain. I was able to wash it in the rain, and only got a little wet. I then backed the unit in so Carol could clean the windows off. We then decided that we should go to Dollar General and buy the tubs that we were going to need for the new unit. While we were heading out there, the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Watts Township, in Perry County. We went responding right away and when we got to Shell, County advised us that Perry was canceling us, so we went in service. So we turned around at Sheetz and headed back to Dollar General. We got there and went inside and got the tubs that we were going to need and we were standing in line when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. So we sat our stuff down and the cashier said that she would watch it for us. We all pilled in to 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the lady loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. On the way down the medic ended up tubing her and we bagged her for the rest of the way. After we got the rig cleaned up and got what we needed, we headed on home. We ran the medic up to his squad at SLV and then headed back to Dollar General. After we got the stuff, we ran up to McDonalds and we all grabbed something to eat for dinner. After that we headed back to the shed. My father was already at the shed when we got there. We had just taken the stuff in the office, when the new unit arrived. We looked it over and then we started stocking it. Sue, Scott, Bill, Carol and my father all helped restock the unit. After it was restocked, we talked for a little bit and then we all headed on home. Once at home I ate a light snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. The Sims

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was woken up by my mother this morning around 09:30 hours. She told me that my father's truck was getting towed to Heim's in Fisherville, because the electric fuel pump went bad on it. So my father had taken my mother's car to work today, and will be taking it to work tomorrow also. So I got changed and ate breakfast and read the paper. Then around 10:00 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Dohn, Carol, and Bill took the call. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. Then around 11:30 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Medic 6 handled the call after county realized that we only had one unit in service. After my show was over I got on the computer and installed my firefighter game, but it needs a certain graphic card to be able to play the game, and unfortantly, I do not have the right graphic card. So I made lunch. Then around 12:55 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. They had gotten back and were able to take the call. So after I ate lunch and then loaded up my "The Sims, Complete Collection" and then I played that. I ate dinner while I played on the computer. Around 19:20 hours, the pager went off for back pains in Halifax Township. Dohn and Carol took that one and took the person down to Harrisburg Hospital. I then ate a snack while I played on the computer also. Then around 20:30 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Halifax Township. I tried getting ahold of Dohn and Carol to ask them were they were at, but to no avail. Medic 6 went responding and then eight minutes later, they went available and county advised them off the call and they took it. They were originally going to Geisinger, but they just changed their destination to Harrisburg Hospital. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Taking down the decorations

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for heart problems in Halifax Township. I got out of bed, did the fire minute dance, then got dressed, ran out to the kitchen and took my medication and then jumped in my car and headed into the "Barn". As I came over the smalle hill just before Dohn's house and he had just pulled out on to the road, so I fell in behind him. We got into the station and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and the lady had a pulse of 26. She said that she wanted to go to Sunbury, and I just looked at Dohn while I continued to get the b/p cuff out of the bag. Medic 6 showed up and the medic talked her into going down to Harrisburg Hospital. We finally got her loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. While we were coming down second street in the city, we heard over the radio us get tapped out for a call in Jackson Township. Medic 6 handled it since we only have 13-1 at this time. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then me and Dohn went inside and grabbed something to eat for breakfast. After that we headed back to the shed. Bill was already there when we got back. Once there, I logged my time in and Bill got my times for the call. I then did my paperwork for the call while I ate breakfast. After I was done with my tripsheet, we started taking the christmas decorations down in the bays. We started by taking all the stockings down, followd by Bill taking all of the beads off of the garland. While Bill was doing that, I took the wreath's off of the doors and put them away. I put the center piece on the serving window ledge away and then put that big center piece on the drink table in it's bag and sat it there. Me and Dohn then started working on taking the garland down. After we had the garland down and put it their bags, we started working on the tree. I started taking the balls and candy canes off, while Dohn took the gold icicles off of the tree and put them in a ziploc bag. Bill then came out and helped with take the rest of the balls and candy canes off of the tree. Me and Dohn then started taking the garland off of the tree. Once that was all off, I put the decorations in the same tub as the garland and put that in the sled, while Dohn started taking off the lights. Dohn took the lights off and I put them in the other tub and then put that tub in the sled also. I then took the angle off the tree and put her away after taking the ribbion off of her. I then put that box and the rest of the decorations in the sled. Then the three of us started taking the tree down and putting it in the box. After that we swept the bays out and then we talked for a little bit. I then called NAS and talked with the girl there and asked her to have a tech call me at home when he got back in. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and talked with my mother. I went back to the bedroom around 13:50 hours to get on the PS2 when the tech from NAS called and he said that if I brought my tower in right away, he could have a new floppy drive put in, in no time. So I unhooked everything from the tower and put it in my car and headed for the shop. I dropped it off at 14:00 hours and then headed back to the shed. When I got back, Bill and Dohn must have just left as they were still there when I first went by to drop my tower off. So I went into the office and I shreeded some more papers. Then around 14:46 hours the tech from NAS called and said that my tower was done. So I got in my car and headed back out to the shop to pick up my tower. After I paid my bill, I put the tower back in my car and headed on home. Once at home I hooked the tower back up and refired my computer and the new floppy drive worked. I then got online and reposted stuff that I could not post while my floppy drive was bad. I then ate dinner while I was on line and then left the house around 18:47 hours and headed on up to the hose house for the meeting tonight. I got up there and found out that it had been cancelled. So I headed on home and got back on the computer. I just finished eating a light snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Steelers Move On

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:45 horus for a call in Upper Pacton Township at SLV with either us or 20. So I layed in bed and I heard my father get up and put his pants on, so I got out of bed and slowly started getting dressed. I had just put my boot socks on, when 20-1 went responding. So I took my boot socks off and the rest of my stuff and I went back to bed and so did my father. I then got up at 12:00 hours this morning. I got out of bed and got changed into a running suit and then made and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then helped my mother fill the bird feeders up and then I came in and re arranged some things in my bookcase in the living room. After that I got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I took my created team, the Halifax Wildcats (of course) and played against Penn State. I lost 51 to 43. I have played 4 games so far, two against my father and two against the computer. I am now 2-2-0. While I was playing, Steph called on my cell phone and we talked for about 20 minutes. I ate dinner while I played and then I got off and took a shower. I then watched the 4th quarter of the Steelers game and they won. I then ate my snack. While I was down in the basement getting my glass of iced tea, I heard the pager go off for breathing problems in Wayne Township. Scott, Sue and Carol handled the call. Merry Christmas!!

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:00 hours for breathing problems in Jackson Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and my mother brought back my medications and I took them and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got behind a tractor trailer that pulled out from Tobias Road and boy was he ever going slow. I passed Dohn's house and he was just coming down his driveway. I got in there and Dohn pulled in behind me and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got out there and Medic 6 was already on the scene. We got the lady loaded up and we took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. The medic was Heidi and she was very good. I knew the lady because her son runs with Fisherville Fire Company. I also know the lady's mother by the same way, except it would be her grandson. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheel and got disel while Heid ran over to the Sister's Coffee House and got breakfast. We then went back over to Sheetz and dropped her off and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call. I then did my paperwork on the call and talked with Dohn. My father then showed up and he signed the checks. He gave Dohn his and Carol's checks and then Dohn left for home. After I finished my tripsheet I did a few things on the computer and then both me and my father headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. I then left the house around 12:43 hours and headed back into the shed. When I got there, Bill and Viv were already there. I went in and I helped Bill move the tables and chairs around. Then around 13:30 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Dohn called the station and I answered and he told me that he would pick me up. So I went outside and waited for Dohn to show up. Once he did, I got in 13-1 and off we went to the scene. Once we got there, the mother stated that she had gotten the boy on a nebulizer treatment and that he was doing better and that she did not want us. We cancelled Medic 6 and then went up and just checked on the boy to make sure he was doing ok. After we checked him out and he said that he felt fine, we went available and returned to the station. I then helped Bill finish setting things up for the christmas banquet. I then went back and started shreeding the papers that need to be shreeded. People started showung up around 15:00 hours. By 15:30 hours we were all ready to eat. Prayer was said and we all dug in. The food was good and so was desert. After that my father handed out some money rewards to the people that helped out in the kitchen this past year and we also gave a check to Viv for all the work that she does. Bill then had a few games for us to play with prizes handed out. After that we started breaking stuff down. It was a very nice banquet and I think that everything went great. By 17:15 hours, most everyone had left and there were only a few of us there. Bill then left a few miutes later and then most of us left around 17:25 hours. As I was walking over towards the office, I felt something hitting my eyebrow. So I took my glasses off and I watched as the screw that holds the frame together to keep the lense in place, fall out and land on the floor. I immediately laid my glasses on the tables and got down on my knees and started looking around for this tiny, tiny screw. My father and Dohn then came over and they started looking for it also. I did manage to find it and I put it in a piece of tape to take home. I then got my stuff together and then got in my car. I drove home without my glasses on. Once at home, my father got out his repair kit and he put the screw back in and my glasses were fixed. After that we opened the gifts were got for the Russian Orthodox Christmas. I got my annual Planters Peanut set, another memory card for the PS2, my brother got me a book, "The Redneck Dictonary", and my father got me a firefighter santa statue. Demolition Derby in Upper County

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:25 hours when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township, in the parking lot of Giant. I layed in bed and then the phone rang. My mother answered it and then yelled back to me to see if I was able to go, I rolled over in bed and said yes and then got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I had just passed the Clugston farm when county advised Medic 6 that PSP was on the scene and the Pt. was only sleeping in the vehicle and EMS was not needed. So I continued on into the shed and pulled in and talked to Dohn for a few minutes and then headed on back home. Once at home I went inside and changed back into my PJ's and layed down in bed. My cat jumped up in bed with me and I was just getting ready to fall asleep when the pager went off for an accident with injuries and rollover in Halifax Township. So I got back out of bed and got dressed again and got in my car again and headed into the shed again. I got in there an pulled in behind Dohn and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there before the engine did and we talked to the two firefighters from 29 on the scene. It was the same lady that had fallen asleep in the parking lot of Giant. She was heading home to Millersburg and fell asleep again, but this time while she was driving. She was not hurt and eneded up being a refusal. She took a ride with PSP down to the hospital to have blood drawn. We were on the scene for about an hour and then left and headed back to the shed. Once at the shed, I logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call. I then did my tripsheet for the call before I headed on home. Once I was done with my tripsheet, I headed on home. My father was just leaving when I pulled in the driveway. I went inside and sat down in the chair in the living and was talked with my mother. The cat jumped up on my lap and got comfortable when the pager went off for and accident with injuries and rollover in Jackson Township. I got up and took my medication and then called Dohn's house and told him to pick me up in front of the church in Fisherville. So I then got in my car and headed on out to the church and parked my car and crossed the street. I then waited for Dohn to come get me. While I was waiting, I heard the engine coming out, so I ran out and stopped traffic and waved the engine on through and then went back over along the side of the road. Dohn showed up about 4 minutes later and I got in and we continued to the scene. We got there and the engine was already there along with PSP. Bubba came over to me and told me that I would not have to worry about a Pt. as he already had hand cuffs on and was in the back of the cop car sitting. So I talked with the guys some, and then I helped them roll the car onto the driver's side. We were there for about 30 minutes and then we left. Dohn dropped me off at the church and I got in my car and headed on home. Once at home I changed into my PJ's and then went back to bed and went to sleep. My father called around 07:45 hours and asked if my mother had left yet and I said yes. I then fell back to sleep. Then around 08:30 hours my cell phone beeped and it was Steph. We texted back and forth for about 10 minutes and then she said that she would call me later. I then fell back asleep. I then got back up around 11:30 hours and I got out of bed and I got dressed and then I read the paper. I then made lunch. While I was making lunch, Bill called and asked me if I could come in around 13:30 hours and help set up for the banquet today, and I told him that I could do that. So I then ate lunch and played on the PS2. I left the house around 13:05 hours and headed on into the "Barn". Bill was already there when I got there and I talked with him and did a few things on the computer. Then Carol and Dohn showed up. We then set the tables up and after we were done there we talked for a litte bit more and then we all left for home. Once at home I got back on the PS2, then my father and mother got home and I helped my mother bring some things in from her car. I then ate dinner while I played on the PS2 and I got off of there around 18:50 hours. I then took a shower and then ate a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Here comes the tanker

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:30 hours when the pager went off for a basement fire in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed and went over to the bathroom and did the five minute dance and then came back over to the bedroom and got dressed, then I took my medications and then jumped in my car and headed on into the "Barn". As I passed the alley in the square of Fisherville, I saw the tanker coming down the alley. So once traffic stopped to let me out, I pulled out on the road at an angle, blocking traffic and waved the tanker on out, and then I fell in behind it. As I passed Dohn's house, he was just coming down his driveway. Traffic was really bad this morning, very heavy at places. I got into the shed and Dohn pulled in behind me and we both went inside. I asked Dohn if he wanted to fill up an Igloo with water and he said sure, so we filled that up and I put cups and Gatoreaid in the back of 13-1 and after the Igloo was done being filled, I put it in the back of the unit and we got in and went responding and county advised us that the box was placed in service. Boy was I a little pissed. After we unloaded everything, Dohn headed on home and I stayed and filled out the application that Sue had left in my bin. I then headed on up to Giant and got a case of water and then headed on home. I stopped at the hose house and talked with the guys until Bubba got back with the tanker. I then talked some more. I was up there for probally about around 1 hour. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then went back to the bedroom and sat down to play a game of college football on the PS2. I had just started the game when the pager went off for a fall person in Millersburg Borough at the Frederick Health Center. So I turned the game off and got in my car and headed back into the shed. I pulled in behind Dohn and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and then Perry Medic 81 showed up and we placed him in service. The medic helped us get the guy on the backboard and then we loaded him in the unit and took him to Harrisburg Hospital. This guy did not know the meaning of "DON'T MOVE". This guy kept rolling back and forth on the board, trying to get comfortable. Well guy when you are paralized, don't come crying to us, because we tried to warn you. So after we got what we needed, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I restocked the unit and then did my tripsheet as Dohn had logged my time in and pulled the times up for the call. After I was done with the tripsheet, I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and started the game over again. I was Penn State and I played Flordia State. It was a very good game, just like the Orange Bowl, with the score being tied through out most of the game, but alas, Flordia State beat me with a score of 34-30. My father then played his game, Conflict, Desert Storm until around 22:30 hours when he got off. I played some also until around 22:00 hours when I got off after we had a small fight over how I played the one mission in the game. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

What a day!

Went to bed around 03:00 hours last night and around 03:45 hours the pager went off for a call in Upper Paxtown Township at SLV. I leaned out of bed and grabbed the phone and called Dohn and Carol houses to make sure that they were up, which they were. I then went back to bed and got up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. The cat then jumped on the bed and I layed back down after turning my alarm off. About 3 minutes later the phone rang and I picked up and it was the delivery guys from Lowe's saying that they would be up between 10:00 hours and 12:00 hours. I then told my father as he walked by to use the restroom and then I layed back down in bed. I then got up around 07:54 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed something for breakfast and got in my car and headed into town. I ran up to Giant and picked up four cases of Vianilla Coke for my brother, I also got a gallon of milk and a gallon of iced tea, and a pint og chocolate milk for breakfast. I then headed on back to the "Barn". I then did my paperwork on yesterdays call and then I checked my email quickly and then I started clearing the stuff out of the cab of the ambulance. Bill then showed up and we cleared out the outside compartments, and then Carol showed up, followed by Dohn. We then cleared out the inside compartments and then I called down to Keystone to let them know that the unit was stripped and ready for them to pick up. They said that Alan was out on the road and that he would call me back before he came up. Dohn then made an oxygen run and me, Bill, and Carol sat the the shed. Dohn got back and just as he did, Keystone called me back and said that Alan was on his way up and should be here between 14:00 hours and 14:30 hours. I then helped Dohn unload the Oxygen tanks and put them away and then we put the stretcher in the mechanical room for now. Then the four of us talked. Alan then showed up around 14:00 hours and we talked for a little bit and then he took off with 13-2. Kind of felt strange seeing it go for the last time. On the one hand, she was a good truck and had a lot of memories on it, on the other hand, she was starting to become a problem with systems on her. Then around 14:30 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. We got in 13-1 and off we went. County advised us of what we had and that the lady was requesting to go to Pottsville General. So I called Dohn and asked him if he felt up to taking a trip and he said yes and I told him to meet us at SLV. So we got up there and got the lady loaded onto the stretcher and then into the ambulance. By that time, Dohn was there and he parked his truck. Carol then said that since we had no second unit, she would go along and ride up front so she could see how to get to Pottrsville for future reference. We got the lady up there and after we got what we needed we headed on home. We stopped at KFC and we all got something to eat for dinner. We then continued on our way home. We got back to SLV and Dohn picked up his truck and we went back to the shed, I logged my time in and then talked for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I got to see the new fridge downstairs and it looks good. We now have everything that we had in the coolers in this fridge. I then setteled down to watch the Rose Bowl. Boy what a game. Texas comes back to best USC in the final 2 minutes of the game. I am glad the bowl games are over, I do not know if my heart could take another night of a close game, and boy was this game ever close. The paper today hit the score almost dead center of the nail head. They said that Texas was going to win 40 to 38..... the score was 41 to 38, Texas. I will be checkeing my email shortly and then hitting the sack as it was another long day.

WE ARE PENN STATE!!!!

Boy what a nice cap off to a bad day. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours when my mother woke me up. Apparently the day had started out on the wrong foot already. She proceeded to tell me what had happened so far. When she got up this monring and went out to get the paper, she noticed that the right rear tire on her van was flat. So she came inside and woke my father up and he went out and looked at the tire. He then took the tire off and put it in his truck and ran it out to Heim's, where it was found to have a nail in it. A plug was put in the tire and it was brought home and put back on my mother's van. My father then told her that John had said that she was going to need new tires on her van before it got inspected. So then my father came inside and went to wash his hands. My mother said that he came stomping out of the bathroom and turned the faucet on in the kitchen and told he to look. There was no water coming out, the well pump had broke. So my father called Matt Foust and he said that he would be here sometime after 13:00 hours. So he thought it was the switch on the well tank inside so he got a new switch at the hardware store, but it turned out that it was not that. So once I was up, I read the paper. Carol called around 11:00 hours and asked me if I could cover for Dohn, and I said that no I could not as we were having problems with thw well and my mother was going to need help taking both cats up to the vets later on. So as soon as I hung up with her, the pager went off for an unconscious perons in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Dohn, Carol, and Bill all took the call, but 6 said that they would handle and we were placed in service. Then around 12:15 hours the pager went off for a diabetic problems in Halifax Township. It was our frequent flyer that they had two days ago. Dohn, Carol and Bill took the call and it was a refusal again. Then around 13:00 hours me and my mother took the cats up to the vets and we wrre up there for about 30 minutes at the most. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3, Takedown. Then around 15:45 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. Dohn, Carol, and Bill took that one and they took the guy to Hershey Hospital. My father had just sat down to plat Conflict Desert Storm on the PS2, when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Upper Paxton Township. We both got dressed and then got in his truck and headed on into the "Barn". Once in there we got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and medic 6 was already there. We spent about 15 to 20 minutes on scene trying to talk the guy into going down to the hospital to get checked out. He finally said yes and we took him down to Hershey Hospital. While we were at the house, the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Township. Ambulance 6-6 handled that call for us. After we got what we needed down at Hershey, we headed on home. While on the way home, we got tapped out for a call in Halifax Township. Dohn, Carol, and Bill took that one and took the person down to Harrisburg Hospital. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and both me and my father grabbed something to eat and then went back to the shed. Once back at the shed, I logged our times and pulled the times up for the call. I had just put my tripsheet in my folder when the pager went off for abdominal pains in Jackson Township. I had alreday talked to Deb about her being on while I got my hair cut and until 13-1 got back. So she made her way into the shed and my dad pulled 13-2 back out and they went responding. Meanwhile I called my mother and had her come in and pick me up at the shed and then we headed on home. Once at home I ate my sub and chips and then got dressed and headed on into town and got my hair cut. After that was done I headed on home and sat down to watch the Orange Bowl. Boy what a game. I listen to the game on the radio on the way home and I heard us score the touchdown. Once at home, Flordia State score on a 86 yard punt return and then on their followoing possesion scored on a 57 yard pass. But the kicker missed the point after, which made the scoe 13-7, FSU. We then scored a tocuhdown right before the half making it 14-13 us. Then in the third quarter, not much was done, with a lot of punting going on. Then in the fourth quarter, we got a safety, making it 16-13, us. We then made a drive down to the 4 yard line, bnut fumbled the ball off of the snap and FUS recovered. FSU was able to kick a field goal to tie the score. We then tried for a 29 yard field goal, but the kick went wide left. So we went into overtime. FSU had the ball first and tried for a field goal, but it went to the right. We then tried for a field goal, but it went wide left again. So in to double overtime. We scored a touchdown which made it 23-16 us. Then FSU scored tieing it up again at 23-23. So now into Triple Overtime. Boy my heart could not take this any longer. FSU tried for a field goal, but the kick bounced off of the right upright. We then kicked a field goal, making it 26-23. Boy what a nail-bitter of a game. I am getting ready to take a shower and then am going to hit the sack. It has been a long day for us.

Two new fridges

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 04:50 hours for a Diabetic Problem in Halifax Township. It was one of our frequent flyers that we have. Dohn and Carol took it and it ended up being a refusal. After they were on the scene for a little bit and I did not hear anything from them, I reset my pager and rolled over in bed and went back to sleep. I woke up at 10:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. I then made lunch and ate it while I watched the Rose Parade on HGTV with no commercials. Boy was it ever raining out there. First time in 51 years that it has rainied on the day of the parade. I was surprised at how well the flowers on the floats held up. It was a nice parade even with the rain. I watched it for 2-1/2 hours and they were just showing the start of the parade on TV, the floats, marching bands, and horse teams, still had 5-1/2 miles to go before the parade was over. After that I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3, Takedown. My parents then came home around 14:20 horus and they told me that they got two fridges. One is for upstairs and the other is for downstairs to use for soda and other things and to also have as a back up. My father went downstairs to start making room fo the new fridge that was going downstairs. Then around 14:30 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Jackson Township. This was another one of our frequent flyers that we have. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. Once there I got in 13-1 and off we went. Bill met us at the scene. We got there and went inside and the guys wife was flipping out that he was going to pass out and that he was going to bleed to death because he shit out blood. She was also flipping about no one starting an IV on him because of blowing his good remaining veins. We got the guy loaded up after Jim got there and we went class 2 down to Hershey. Boy was his wife ever flipping out and there was no need for her to be. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. On the way home, Scott called my cell phone and asked me if I could cover for him until 22:00 hours tonight and I said yes. We dropped Jim and Bill off at the scene to pick up their vehicles, and then Dohn took me out to his house so I could pick up my car. After I got my car, I headed into the "Barn". Once in there I logged my time in and pulled up the times for the call. I then talked to Bill for a little bit and then I left and headed up to Rtie Aid. Once there I got a phone card for my cell phone and used my credit card to buy it. After that I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and I ate dinner while I played some more. I then got off around 21:05 hours and got on the computer. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. After rining in the new year last night, around 00:18 hours the pager went off for an accident in Halifax Township. This means that we got the first EMS call in county for the new year. Me and my father started getting dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn" incase they needed the second unit. We got in there and went responding and Scott placed us in service, saying that there was only one Pt. So me and my dad got back into my car and we headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and did a few more things. I went to bed around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours. I got out of bed and I ate a very light breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed and we all pilled into my mothers car and headed on down to my grandparents house for new years day dinner. Once down there, we turnd Fox on for the Steelers game. My aunt and uncle then showed up and then we sat down to have dinner. We had pork and all the fixings. After that we went in and sat down to watch the game. And what a game it was. A very close one from the start, but the Steelers came out on top. I did not see Sue, Bob, Amanda, or Zach though, and believe me, I looked. After that was over we had desert, and then we left for home. We stopped at the shed on the way home and talked with Dohn and Carol for a little bit and then we went home. Once at home, Sue called and we talked for about 15 minutes. I then took a shower. Once out I started the internet up and then went out to the kitchen to get a drink of iced tea. When I took a swig, I noticed that it was warm. So I checked other things in the fridge and they were warm. So I went in and told my parents. So my dad came out and checked it, and then he checked the freezer and all the stuff in there was warm. So it confirmed our fear that our fridge/freezere had crapped out on us. So we saved what we could from the freezer and moved it to the freezer downstairs. Then we moved everything from the fridge into coolers. Then my father and me took three of them into the shed. Two of them had stuff in and we put ice around them, the third one we filled with ice to use to put in the coolers as the ice melted. We then headed on back and moved the coolers around. We placed two of them in the back of my fathers truck and the other one we put downstairs, that one has the stuff we will need to use tomorrow, like milk, iced tea, orange juice, and some lunch meat and cheese. The good thing is that my parents were already going down to visit my mother's friend, so now they are also going to be looking for a new fridge/freezer combo for the kitchen. I am now checking my email, surfing the web and talking to Sue and Bill. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
