Everyone on the Engine

Around 20:42 hours last night, Scott called my cell phone to let me know that the girls basketball team won the league title. I told him ok and then called Bubba and let him know. I then got dressed and headed on up to the fire house. When I got there, Bubba was pulling the tanker out, and then he pulled the engine out. I then grabbed my gear and threw it behind the officers seat. Robbie then came over and me and him took the engine and Bubba took the tanker. We headed on out to Patton Road and waited for 29 to show up. The town cop was next to show up, followed by both of 29's engines. Then we waited on the bus to show up. When they did show up, the town cop lead the way, then 29's two engines, then the bus, then we followed the bus. We lead them up to the school and then they all piled out of the bus. They all got on top of Engine 29-1. Me and Robbie sat in the engine while they did this, and we heard county call Engine 29-1 at least 6 times. Finally county toned out Box 29-6 for a reported accident in front of the Jelly Bean Junction. Alf got on the radio and said that Engine and Tanker 216 would handle the call as they were on another detail. So Robbie backed up and then we took off. We made took the turn by the school there, and I slammed my foot down on the Q and laid on the air horns. We got down to the scene the same time that Lt. 29-1 did and we found nothing. We then went up Market Street, into the Heights and found nothing up there, so we placed the box in service. By this time both engines were coming down 4th street, so we picked up the front and lead them down 4th, then a left on to Armstrong Street, then a left on to Second Street, then a left onto Rise Street, then a right back on Peters Mountain Road, we then turned in at the school, while the rest of the parade went up to Giant and turned around and came back down. We then backed out into traffic and held traffic while the parade turned in at the school. When the engine with the girls on it went by, I laid on the Q and air horns. We then feel in line at the back and went around back again and parked. The girls off loaded from the engine and then Alf wanted a pic of the team in front of the engine. So he told us to move the engine over and turn the quartz lights on. So we moved the engine and Robbie went around back and started the generator up while I climbed up to turn the lights on. When I went to turn the first one on, the girls started chantting "Jesse, Jesse, Jesse". After I turned that one on, I climbed up on top and turned the other one on, while the girls chantted "We love Jesse, We love Jesse". After that we left and headed on up to Shell to get disiel and then headed back to the station. Once back at the station the three of us stood around and bullshited until 23:30 hours when we all left. Once at home I took the trash out, then checked my email qucikly and then went to bed. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 11:40 hours when the pager went off for an accident in Perry County. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got as far as Fisherville, when they placed us in service. So I turned around and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then made lunch and got on the computer to do a few things. Then around 15:30 hours the pager went off for wires down in Upper Paxton Township. I got in my car and slowly made my way into the shed. When I got there, 13-1 was already pulled out and Bill put us responding. We got as far as Seiders Road, when the FD placed us in service. So we turned around and headed back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in for yesterday and then talked to Bill for a little bit. I then went to Rite Aid and got a powerball ticket for us and then headed on home. I had just walked in the house, when the pager went off for chest pains in Millesburg Borough. I got back in the car and headed back into the shed. I got there and 13-1 was already out and Bill put us responding. We got up there and got the guy loaded and met Medic 6 at the high school and then continued on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. The medics truck was moved down to our station so we dropped him off and then backed the unit in. I then logged my time in and got the times for the call. I then talked to Bill for a little bit and then we both headed for home. Once at home I took a shower and ate dinner and just finished eating a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
