Life Lion Class

Around 01:30 hours last night the pager went off for a fall person in Halifax Township. It was near Sue's house so she went to the scene. My dad got up and headed to the "Barn" and him and Bill took 13-1 out to the scene. They then took their Pt. down to Holy Spirit Hispital. Somewhere around 03:00 hours I think I was, I was awaken to my mother yelling my name, and asking me if I was able to go on a call. I said yes and got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the shed. The call was for a person laying along side the road on the Elizabethville Mountain. As I was pulling into the shed, we got canceled as the person was drunk and PSP was taking him. So I turned around and headed on home. Once at home I got out of my uniform and went back to bed. My father got me up around 08:45 hours and I got out of bed and got dressed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then headed into Station 29. I got in there and gave Alf the old log book, and he gave me a box of the fire calls from 1995 to 2005. I then got setteled in for the Life Lion Class. The class was very good, the instructor was very good, she prsented the information very well. After the classroom time was done, there was lunch served. After I ate lunch, I ran back out to the hose house and picked up my gear and then headed back into Station 29. I got back and then got in gear and I helped with cutting up a car so we could pratice a hot load into the chopper that was coming. The class lasted about 4 to 5 hours and was a very good class. I enjoyed it and got a lot out of it, plus I got to see Amanda. After the class was over, I headed on home. I stopped at the hose house to drop my gear off. While I was there Lonnie pulled up with the Utility and I opened the engine, bay door. He came over and asked me if I was going to move the engine out, and I told him that I have never driven it before. So he said that he would teach me. I pretty much know how to start it up and drive it, I was just afraid that I would hit something with it. I actually did pretty good with it, I pulled it out and backed it in without a problem. After that I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then got on the PS2. I ate dinner while I was on the PS2 and got off at 20:00 hours. A nice day off, before all Hell breaks lose

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:30 hours when my father called the house. He told me that a giy from Com Pros was coming up at 09:30 hours to put a new antnenna on the roof of 13-1 and put the PL's in the radio that we had requested. So I got out of bed and I got dressed in street clothes and then I ate breakfast. I then headed into the "Barn" to wait on the guy to show up. He got there around 09:20 hours and put a new antenna rod on the roof of 13-1. He then added the PL's to the radio's in both units. After he left I headed on home. Once at home I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours and after that was over I read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things and work on the minutes. My mother came home around 15:00 hours and her and me talked for a little bit. I then got off the computer at 17:00 hours to watch some TV an eat dinner. Another Quiet Day

Around 23:26 hour last night the pager went off for bleeding in Jackson Township. I has just taken my uniform off so I could lay down to watch some TV. I put my uniform back on and then got in my father's truck and we headed into the "Barn". We got in there and got in 13-1 and took off. We got to the scene and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Once back at the shed, I logged our times in and pulled the times up for the call. I then put my tripsheet in my folder and we headed on home. Once at home I watched the end of my show and then went to bed around 02:15 hours. I got up this morning around 10:50 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. I then read the paper and after I was done with that, I got my boots on and headed into town. I went to Giant and I got a gallon of iced tea. I then headed to the shed to do my paperwork from last nigths call. After I was done, I headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer to do some work and to go through some more minutes. I got off around 16:00 hours to watch some TV and to eat dinner. Day off to work on the Minutes

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:50 hours. I got out of bed and I ate breakfast while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I read the paper and then took a shower. After that I got on the computer to do some things and to work on the minutes from Fisherville. Last night I was able to go through 1947 and 1948. So far today I have goen through 1949, 1950, and am now working on 1951. Rocky likes Me!!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed at 05:50 hours when the pager went off for a nose bleed in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Sue was already there and had the bay door open. I went inside and then Dohn showed up as Sue was pulling 13-1 out. I got in the back and Dohn got in and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded and Sue drove up to Sunbury while me and Dohn were in the back. After we got what we needed up there we stopped at Burger King and had breakfast. We ran into Lanny up there and we talked with him for a little bit. We then headed on back down home. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my tripsheet. I was getting ready to leave when the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. While waiting on Bill to show up, 20 got out as a single provider and decided to make a MICU with the medic from 6 and we were placed in service. I then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I got on the computer to do some things and start working on the old minutes from Fisherville now. Around 12:40 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and Bill pulled in behind me. We both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. I drove the squad up to Sheetz and then got back on 13-1. While I was driving the squad behind the ambulance, I noticed that we were missing an antenna. Rocky was down at the hospital again today. I really like her, I have a crush on her. I think she likes me to, she is always looking at me and talking to me when I come in. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then stopped at Shell and got disiel. We then went back to the shed. While we were there, I logged my time in and Dohn changed a "M" tank on 13-1. We then went back out to Dohn's house and picked up my car. I then headed on home and once at home I got back on the computer. I then went outside and helped my father move some stuff over from the old shed to the new shed. I then came back inside and ate dinner while I worked on the computer. A New Sink

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I went outside and helped my mother dig up some flowers for her to take down to my grandmothers house on Wednesday. After that I got on the computer to do some things and work on 1994 of the Halifax Fire Department from the log book. Around 15:43 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Elizabethville Borough. I got in my car and headed out to he church in Fisherville to wait to be picked up by Bill and Dohn. Medic 6 was able to get out and we were placed in service. So I got back in my car and headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer. Then around 17:06 hours the pager went off for a call in Upper Paxton Township. I got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and 20 got out and we were cancelled. So I turned around and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner while I was on the computer. Around 19:50 hours Scott called me and asked me if I was around to help him and Gary unload the sink from the back of his truck. I said I would be in and I got in my car and headed into the shed. I swung by the fire house first and picked up a my work gloves from out of my bunker pants and then went into the shed. Once there I helped Scott and Gary unload the sink from the back of Scott's truck and then talked with them for some and listened to thier ideas for the kitchen. I then left and headed up to Sheetz to get gas and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. Finally after 3 months of working on it in my spare time, I have finally finished the old fire log book from Powell's Valley. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Volunteer Sunday

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower. I then got changed into street clothes and then read the paper. Around 11:30 hours, me and my father realized that we had missed Volunteer Sunday at Fetterhoff's Church this morning. I then ate lunch around 11:45 hours and then I got on the computer to do some things and work on 1994 from the log book. I then ate dinner while I worked on the computer and then around 17:30 hours, I got changed into my uniform. Kim and Scott had 3 calls today so far, so who knows what tonight might hold. A night race in the desert

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate breakfast and read the paper. I then sat down with my father to watch a Bonaza Marathon. Around 11:15 hours the pager went off for a medical alarm in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then me and my father got in my car and headed into the "Barn". We turned into the station and Scott who went to the scene put us in service as the lady only need help getting up. So we then brought 13-2 out to the house with us. Once back at home, I got on the computer for a few short minutes and then I went back out to continue watching Bonaza. I ate lunch while I watched TV. At 16:00 hours me and my father put the new VCR on top of the TV and programmed it. I then made dinner and we went back to watching Bonaza. My mother then came homw around 18:00 hours. Around 19:34 hours the pager went off for an allergic reaction in Halifax Township at the High School. Me and my father got our boots on and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the girl loaded and Medic 6 got on and we headed on down to Osteo. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at his squad at the high school and then we went up to Sheetz so my father could check the air in the right side rear tires. After that we went back to the shed. Once there we put 13-2 away and then I logged our times in and then did my paperwork on the call. We then headed on home. Once at home I sat down to watch the end of the race. I had a very light snack while I watched the race. Kevin Harvick won the race. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Sue is driving!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed. I then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. Around 11:25 hours the pager went off for a physocscamtic in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Sue and Dohn were already in there. Sue was driving!!!! I got in the back and we were on our way. We got up to Engle-Rissinger and we stagged there to wait for PSP to go into the scene. They got there, and we came to find out that the guy had not lived there for some years now. While we were waiting for PSP to show up, there was a call in Millersburg. 20 was already out and Perry 29-1 was coming over to take it. After we were released from the kersone drinking man, we advised county that we would handle the Millersburg call since we were closer. We got up there and Millersburg Police was on the scene. Medic 6 showed up next and it was Boyer. That was a surprise that he came out of the office. We got the lady loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. Sue did really good driving down to the hospital. Boy I had fun with Rocky in registration today. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We ran Steve back up to his squad in Millersburg and then headed on back to the shed. We got there and Bill was already there. Sue still needs some work on backing up but overall the whole round trip was very good. I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. My father then showed up and the 4 of us talked for some time. We left there around 16:30 hours and I headed up to the doctor's office to see if they were open to pick up my dad perscription. They were not so I turned around and headed back to Giant. I passed Sue sitting at the traffic light waiting to turn left. I got a gallon of iced tea at Giant and then headed on home. I stopped at the fire house as I saw that Bubba was there. He gave me a few more pics to scan and place on the website. We then talked for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate dinner while I got on the computer. After I was done eating, I ran the pics back up to the fire station. Once back at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this moring around 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and I ate lunch while I watched TV and then I read the paper. I then took a shower and then got dressed. I then ran the stuff from the display case back up to the firehouse. I dropped the bag of pictures and county patch off at the fire house and picked up the key for the fire hall. I put the stuff back in the display case and then grabbed a few things I wanted to take home and make copies off to keep with my records. I then went back home, made the copies and then ran the stuff back up to the fire house. I grabbed the key to the fire hall out of the station again and put the stuff back in the display case. I then took the key back down and Bubba was out mowing the front lawn. I then headed on back home. I then got on the PS2 and played for about 30 minutes. Around 15:24 hours the pager went off for chest pains at Community Medical Associates in Halifax Township. Dohn and Bill handeled the call. I left the house around 15:30 hours and stopped at the "Barn" to log my time in for today and use the bathroom. I then headed on down to City Island. As I passed the doctor's office, Dohn was putting his seat belt on in the unit. I then got behind a school bus going around the mountain. Once I got on the highway and got up to the Dauphin on ramp, I saw 13-2 coming down it, I was one car in front of them the whole way down Front Street. I got over and parked and went to the gate and met up with my father who had already got the tickets. We then waited for my brother to show up. He got there a few minutes after they opened up the gates and we went in and had a feast. I might have over done it on the food, but it was good. We then watched the game and left in the middle of the 7th inning. I headed on home then and once at home I got on the computer and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. More Historical Stuff

Went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:15 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then I got in my car and ran my schedule out to Carol. I then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. After that was over, I got on the PS2 and played for about 3 hours. Around 14:00 hours my mother came home and I helped her bring some stuff in from her car. I then got back on the PS2. I then got off at 15:00 hours and headed on up to the firehouse. I got up there and Bubba was already there. Him and me worked on the website some and then my father showed up and the three of us talked. We then went up to the fire hall and Bubba gave me some boxes of old minutes and papers to go through, and he also gave me some stuff to scan and post on the website. I left there around 16:55 hours and headed on home and brough everything in. I then ate dinner while I was on the computer working. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Long Minutes

Went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:44 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. I then read the paper and after that I called Bill's cell phone to see where he was at. He told me that he was at the "Barn" and no one eas there. I then got in my car and headed into the shed. I got in there and Bill told me that Viv wanted me to move the units outside, which I did and then I worked on the minutes from the meeting last night. I sat there and listened to the tape of last night while I did the minutes. While I was there, the pager did got off for an accident over in Perry County, but we were cancelled right away. Dohn and Carol came in and dropped off some tables and chairs and then took 13-2 out to the house. After I was done in there, I ran up to the store and picked up a few things and then ran up to Sheetz and got gas. I then headed on home. Once at home, I took a shower and then got on the PS2 and played while I ate dinner. At 17:30 hours, I got changed into my uniform and turned my pager back on for the night. Shit hit the fan

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:00 hours. I moved my car and put Toby in the car for my mother and then went back to bed. Around 09:15 hours the pager went off for a chocking in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I did not get that far when county advised Medic 6-1 that the Pt. wanted to cancel EMS and we were placed in service. I turned around at the fire house and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I got on the computer to do some things and work on 1993 from the log book. Around 13:45 hours the pager went off for sezirues in Halifax Borough. I got in my car and headed into the shed. Dohn was already there when I got in there and I got in 13-2 and off we went. We got the kid and mom loaded up and then headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got diseil and then headed on back to the shed. Once at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. I then headed on home and ate dinner and then me and my father headed back into the shed for the dreaded meeting tonight. Lets just say that shit hit the fan and I am going to express me god givne constitutinal rights and espress myself, so here it goes. Dohn - Dohn is the biggest asshole I have even seen in an organization. He thinks that just because he is chief that he can do what ever he wants and not have to answer to the association. I have lost all respect for him, since he stopped showing me respect. Carol - Carol is the biggest bitch and dictator in the organization. She thinks that she can run the whole god damn show because she has been in it so long. I have no respect left for her. Kathy - Kathy is a washed up bitch trying to make a come back into the EMS field. She thinks that since she is on the Board of Directors, that she can do and say what ever she wants. Burt - Burt is ok, has not given me a lot of problems, but like his wife is trying to make a come back into the EMS field. Susie - Susie for all I care can fuck herself and that is all I will say about her. Mike - Mike needs to stay home with the kids since they can not be left home alone. Sue - Sue is one of the very few people in there that I trust and am able to talk openly to about stuff and know that she will not stab me in the back. Bill - Bill is another one of the very few people I trust in there and can openly talke to about stuff. Paul - Paul a Board of Director's member. Very nice man, I think he is just caught up in a lot of bullshit. John - John is a very good man and a Board of Director's member and once again caught up in this bullshit. Gary - Gary is good and once again a member of the Board of Director's. He pissed me off some at the meeting. Deb - Deb I do not know where she stands, but dose not piss me off a lot. Kim - I lost some respect for Kim tonight when he yelled at me during the meeting when we wewre arguing. Viv - Viv did not say much while we were fighting during the meeting. I feel that she is one that I can trust, but maybe only to a certain degree. Needless to say the meeting was very interesting, but I got all the shit on tape recording. After I got home, I ended up changing and going to the fire house to sit and clear my head and think hard on some things and my future with the Halifax Ambulance. At this point, I may quit after May, I might not, I do not know yet. I will be on for a little bit longer and then I am hitting the sack.

Boy what a long night. I did not get to bed until 03:30 hours this monring and got up around 09:30 hours. I read the paper and then I took a shower and got dressed and then we loaded up the car and headed on down to my grandparents for Easter dinner. We got down there around 12:00 hours and took everything inside. Me and my father set the table up since my brother injured the big toe on his right foot last night and the hospital told him to stay off of his toe. We then set the table and then I went into the living room and read the paper. I then went out and sat at the table until dinner was ready. We had ham and all of the fixings. After that we sat around and talked and then I looked at a book. We then ate desert and talked some more before my Aunt left and headed on home. We then left around 17:30 hours and headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz and got gas in my mothers car and while we were sitting there, I saw 13-2 go by. We then stopped at the "Barn" and my dad downloaded the info from Quicktrip and then we headed on home. Tanker Transferred to Londonderry

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played for about 1-1/2 hours and then I got off and got dressed and then headed up to the fire house. I got up there and parked my car and got out. LeeAnn and Katina got in the Utility and headed up to Enders-Fisherville School. I put my gear in the tanker and then me and Bubba took the tanker over. We got over there and set things up and then waited for the kids to show up. The kids started to show up around 12:30 hours. It lasted for about 30 minutes and then it was all over. The Easter Bunny paid a visit and we had a coloring contest also. After that we headed back to the station and I took some new pictures of the apparatus with Gary's digital camera. After that I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the PS2 and ate some lunch. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. I also had some ice cream while I played on the PS2. I got off around 21:00 hours and got on the computer. At 21:15 hours the fire pager went off for the tanker to transfer to Londonderry Station 54. I got up to the station and put my gear in the tanker. Lannie was there and then Bruce showed up. Me and Bruce ended up going down. We were down there for about 3 hours and ran no calls. After we were released, we headed on home. We stopped at Shell and got disiel and then headed back to the station. I am now getting ready to hit the sack, got to get up early later on this morning to head down to my Grandparents house for Easter.

County Booster Meeting

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours. Got out of bed and got dressed and then Lowe's showed up and dropped off the 3 storm doors that my parents had ordered on Monday. After they left I ate lunch and watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After the show was over, my mother and me took the storm doors down to the new shed to store them until they are ready to be installed. After that I came back inside and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some stuff and I started in 1993 from the log book today. I then got off the computer at 17:00 hours and I ate dinner while I watched TV. I then took a shower at 18:00 hours and left the house around 18:35 hours and headed on down to Progress's Station for the County Booster Meeting tonight. I got down there around 19:04 hours. The meeting was good and they had pizza afterwards. I left down there around 21:00 hours and headed on home. I stopped at Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and iced tea. I then stopped at the "Barn" and logged my time in for yesterday and today, and then I headed on home. Once at home I had a light snack and then around 22:40 hours the pager went off for a rib injury in Halifax Borough. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Another Quiet Day in EMS Land

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:30 hours when my father called. I went out to his truck and removed some things from it and then went back to my bedroom and layed down for a bit. The tow truck then came around 09:00 hours and I went out and talked to the guy and he loaded it up onto the flat bed and then took it out to Heim's Garage in Fisherville. I then went back in the house and layed back down in bed until 10:30 hours. I then got up and changed into my uniform and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I got on the computer to do some stuff and work on 1992 from the log book. Around 15:45 hours I ran my father out to Heim's to pick up his truck and then I came home. I then got off the computer at 17:00 hours to watch some TV and eat dinner. When I was done I took a shower. Around 18:40 hours the pager went off for an assult person at the Giant. I just finished eating a snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Problems with the Truck

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then me and my mother went into the Post Office, so she could mail something overnight. After we were done there, we headed back home. Once at home, I read the paper and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I got on the computer to do some things and to work on 1992. I got off around 15:20 hours and headed into the "Barn" to help my father move the training cabinet so carpet could be layed in the meeting room tomorrow. I went by the shed first and some people were still there, so I went up to Sheetz and got gas. I then headed back and they were gone and my father was there. We moved the cabinet and then headed on home. Once at home I helped my father replace the spark plugs and spark plug cables in his truck. He then started it up and his muffler was making nosies, and then the truck would not start at all. So that will be going out to the garage tomorrow. I then came in and took a shower and just finsihed eating dinner. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Quiet Day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours ahd got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and I ate a small breakfast and I read the paper. I then watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I ate lunch while I got on the PS2 to play some. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2 and I got off around 20:00 hours. I just finished eating a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Nothing happened today, it was a very, very quiet day. Fisherville Website

Last night around 20:30 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. Me and my father got in his truck and headed into the "Barn". We got in there and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got to the scene and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital with Medic 6 on board. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged our times in, pulled my times up and faxed the buffer sheet up to Medic 6. I then put the tripsheet in my folder and then we headed on home. Once at home I finished up on the computer and then went to bed around 02:00 hours. I was rocked out of bed around 08:30 hours when the pager went off for chest pains in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the shed. I got in there and Dohn put us responding as I was getting into 13-2. We got on the scene and got the lady loaded up and Perry Medic 81 got on and we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at his squad back up at the scene and then headed back to the shed. Bill was already there when we pulled in. I went back to the office and logged my time in and then did my tripsheet from last night and the paperwork from this mornings call. I then helped Bill take down the message on the sign out front. I then headed on home. I stopped by the firehouse when I saw the Utility and the Engine sitting out. Bubba was there, so I quickly ran home and grabbed the information on the websites and ran back up to the firehouse. I helped him wash the Engine a little bit. I also signed up to drive the Utility for County Convention. So starting in May, most of my free time will be spent working on cleaning the Utility and getting it ready for convention. We then talked about websites and decided to go with orgsites.com. I signed up for it at the firehouse, then got some information off of Bubba, and then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer and the internet and started working on the website. I ate dinner while I worked on the website. I then got off for a little bit to watch some TV and take a shower. I then got back on and finished the website about 1-1/2 hours ago. I ate a light snack while I worked on the website also. Deep Fried Oreo's

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 08:30 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the computer for a little bit and then got dressed and headed up to the fire hall for the festival meeting. The meeting lasted for about 2 hours. After I was done there, I headed into town. I stopped at the shed and logged my time in for yesterday. Bill showed up to pick something up from his bin and we talked very breifly and then I got in my car and headed to Rite Aid. I dropped two perscriptions off at Rite Aid. I then ran over to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and iced tea. I then ran back over to Rite Aid and picked up my medications and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then got changed into my uniform. I was covering for Deb and my father was covering for Kim. Around 10:15 hours my father called my cell phone and told me that Kim was taking Deb down to the hospital and that we were covering. I told him that I could not cover until I got home, as I was not in uniform and I did not have any of my stuff with me (pager or portable). I then ate lunch while I played on the PS2 for a little bit. I got off the PS2 around 13:30 hours and went out and setteled in to watch the race from the Texas Motor Speedway. It was a good race. Kasey Kane won the race. Jeff was 2 laps down after he cut a tire and had to pit under the green flag. I ate dinner while I watched the race. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Easter Bunny

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for a fainting in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got into my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and parked my car and went inside and pulled 13-2 out. Dohn pulled up and I put us responding, then he got in and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and placed Medic 6 in service. We then took the lady down to Community General Osteo Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz on the way home and put air in the right outside rear tire, which we noticed was low looking when we were down at Osteo. We then headed back to the shed. Dohn dropped me off and then he ran out to his house. I went inside to the office and logged my time in and then Bill showed up. I had Bill pull my times up while I did my paperwork from the call. Sue and Steve then showed up, followed by Dohn with 13-2 and then Carol. Steve changed into the bunny outfit at the shed and then got in 13-1. Me and Dohn got in 13-2 and headed out awhile and 13-1 was close behind. We put 13-1 out of service, since we were pretty sure we would not have a second crew to staff it. I think there was a very good turn out considering the weather. We took about 60 pictures with the Easter Bunny and made $126.00 to donate to the Halifax Fire Victims. The fire department had the easter egg hunt and a chicken bbq. We left there around 12:45 hours and headed back to the shed. Once back at the shed I counted the money and then talked to Bill for a little bit. I then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the PS2. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. I got off around 21:00 hours and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. A Quiet Day Off

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show at 11:00 hours. After that was over I read the paper and then got on my computer to do some things and work on 1991 from the log book. Around 12:45 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. Bill, Dohn and Carol took the call. Things have been quiet for me so far today on the fire side. I got off the computer at 17:00 hours and ate dinner while I watched some TV. The Manor at Susquehanna Village

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and read the paper. I then sat down to watch my TV show at 11:00 hours. Around 11:17 hours the pager went off for a sick person at the Manor at Susquehanna Village in Upper Paxton Township. I got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and parked in then got in 13-2 and off we went. Bill was pulling in as we pulled out. We got up there and got the lady loaded and ended up calling for Medic 6 to meet us at the Halifax High School. It was a good thing we did, because the lady's blood sugar was low. After we got what we needed down at Harrisburg Hospital, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at his squad in the parking lot of the high school and then headed back to the shed. We got back there and Bill was still there. Bill showed us the cards that the gentleman from Card Data Systems had made up as examples and me and Dohn picked out the one we liked. I then did my paperwork from the call and logged my time in. I then helped Bill put letters up on the sign out front. After that I headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played until 19:00 hours. I ate dinne while I played on the PS2. After I got off I took a shower and just finished eating a light snack. A Quiet Day

A guy from Install America came today around 10:15 hours and measured the window's door's and looked at the siding. He left after he got the measurements and looked at the siding. We then watched our TV show at 11:00 hours. After that I got on the computer and worked on color coding 1990. I then ate lunch while I was on the computer. It was a quiet day today with no calls. I got off around 17:00 hours to watch some TV and eat dinner. I then watched the news and am now back on the computer and getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. A Long Day of Many Calls

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for a call at SLV. in Upper Paxton Township. 20 got out right away and we were placed in service and I went back to sleep. I was rocked out of bed again around 08:15 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn was already there. I got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. Bill was at the shed when we got there and se brough the medic back with us and someone came down and picked him up. I logged my time in the book and then did my paperwork from the call. I then talked to Bill and then headed on home. Once at home I watched my show and then ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the computer and was able to finish 1990 of the log book today. I then got off around 17:00 hours and watched some TV while I ate dinner. Around 15:43 hours the pager went off for an allergic reaction in Wayne Township. I got in my car and headed into the shed. I got in there and Bill and Dohn pulled in behind me. We all got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and loaded the lady up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital, BLS since Medic 6 did not go down. When we got down there, they had at least 4 phsycoscamtic people sitting in the hall as they had no rooms to put them in. After we got what we needed, we headed on home. Once back at the shed I logged my time in and was sitting there talking with Dohn and Bill. Around 20:00 hours the pager went off for another allergic reaction in Wayne Township. After I confirmed that Deb was coming in, I headed on out to the scene, which was a joke. None of the mailboxes in that area of Enders Road was marked so I never did get on scene. The reason for that was, while I was sitting in a driveway with my blue light turned off, the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Borough. So, I headed on back to the shed. I got there as Carol was pulling 13-1 out of the shed. We went responding and got there and Engine 29-1 had just pulled up. I was told that the girl did not want anything to do with a male, so Carol went in to check on her. I called Susie and asked her if she was available to go down since I can not drive yet. I then helped them load her up and then got a ride back to the station with Waylon. I then got my car and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a snack. Around 10:00 hours the pager went off to assist at the scene of a gas leak in Halifax Township. Deb and Dohn took that call and are now back and so is Carol. Day Off

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and I got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch while I watched my TV show. Ham Dinner

Went to bed last night around 02:00, but really 03:00 since we turned the clocks ahead last night. I got up at 09:00 hours when my mother woke me up. I got out of bed, ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got changed and headed up to the hose house. I was up there by 09:58 hours. I went in and helped put stuff out on the tables. Some people came in around 10:30 hours and got take out dinners. The people that wanted to sit down and eat started coming in around 10:45 hours. I helped put food on the tables and clear and re-set the tables after people left. I then went in the kitchen and helped dry dished and then washed some dishes and then help dish out corn into the bowl's for on the tables. Things slowed down around 13:30 hours and most of us guys were able to sit down and eat. The dinner was over at 14:00 hours and then it was time to continue cleaning up. I left there around 16:25 hours and headed on home. It was a good fund raiser and I think we did very well. Once at home I took a shower and then watched the end of the race. Tony Stewart won the race and Jeff came in second. Around 17:20 hours the pager went off for a call in Halifax Township. My dad was covering for Deb so he got his boots on and took off. After the race was over I got on the computer to do some things. Around 19:10 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries involving a motorcycle on dead man's curve in Halifax Township. Dohn and Kim took that one with 13-2 and Scott went to the scene. They ended up flying the guy out. Then around 20:00 hours the pager went off again for chest pains in Halifax Township. My dad, Carol and medic 6 were just going available and took the call. I just finished eating a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 02:45 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injuries on the south side of Peters Mountian. 12 got out and we were placed in service and I went back to bed. My mom then woke me up around 07:00 hours so I could move my car so she could get out to go down to her parents house for the day to visit. I then went back to bed. I was rocked out of bed around 08:00 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injureis in Perry County, Reed Township. I got out of bed and got into my uniform and we got in my father's truck and headed into the "Barn". We got in there and went responding and as we were pulling the unit out, county advised us that Perry placed us in service. My father then did some work in the office and then we got lunch from the boy scouts who were having their yard sale today. After we ate we took a look around the yard sale. I got two hot wheels. My father got 4 books, a stuffed animal and an electric blanket for my mother. After that we took the unit out to the house. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the PS2. Around 11:45 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township. We got as far as our side door and 20 got out and we were placed in service. So I got back on the PS2. Then around 12:45 hours the pager went off again for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. We got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital with medic 6. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then headed back to the shed. Once at the shed I logged our times in and then did the paperwork from the call. After that we headed on home. Once at home and I got the mail, I saw that my pics from Pat came in the mail today. I was so happy that I looked at them as soon as I got into the house. After that I got back on the PS2 and I ate dinner and a snack while I played. I got off the PS2 aroound 21:00 hours and got on the computer.
