Air Conditoner's Part 2

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed in to street clothes. My paretns were working on the air conditioner fro in the living room. So I decided to help them out. That did not turn out so well, as I seemed to be more in the way. So I decided to eat lunch and read the paper. After that I helped them redo the configuration of my air conditioner. After that they took a break before doing the one in their bedroom. So I got on the computer and played a game for a little bit. Then around 14:30 hours, we started on the last air conditioner, the one that was going in their room. It took us about an 30 minutes to get it in place and have it up and running. After that my father took a shower and I got on the computer to send and email to someone. After my father was done taking a shower, I took one and then ate dinner while I got back on the computer. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. The Millersburg Suffle

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:30 hours when the pager went off for a call in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got out of bed and got dressed and then me and my father got in my car and headed into the "Barn". We got there and Susie was there. Here we had forgot that Susie was on daylight today and not me. So my dad got in 13-2 to go responding and Medic 6 placed us in service. So then my dad took the ambulance home and I took my car home. Once at home I changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast and read the paper. I then watched some TV. Around 11:45 hours the pager went off for another call in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. 20 got out and we were placed in service. I then got on the computer around 12:00 hours. Then around 12:40 hours the pager went off again for another call in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. My father and Susie took this call. I then ate lunch around 13:00 hours. Then around 14:20 hours the pager went off for a Traumatic Injury in Millersburg's coverage area. 20 got released from the car fire and took the call and we were placed in service. Then the pager went off again for an AFA at Polk Assisted Living in Millersburg Borough. My father and Susie took that call. I then ate dinner and then Bill showed up to look at the new truck and to take pictures of the new truck. I then got back on the computer. Then around 18:45 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. My father and me got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. While we were going down Second Street in the city, we passed a motorcycle laying on the ground and a guy sitting on the ground talking to HPD. So we turned at the next street to circle around and see if everyone was ok, when county dispatched Life Team for an accident with injuries at that location. After 1-5 went responding, we advised county that we were 1 block away and that we would swing by and assist 1-5. We got there and we helped them, but the guy refused to go. So after we were done there, we headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got disiel. I got out and that was when I noticed that the left rear hub cap on 13-2 was missing. Once back at the station, I logged our time in and then did my paperwork. After that we headed on home. Footloose Part 2

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. My mother then told me that while she was at Wal-Mart yesterday that she found the movie Footloose on DVD and bought it. I was thrilled. We decided that we would watch it tonight once my father got home. I then got on the computer to do some things. I then ate dinner while I was on the computer and then took a shower. We all sat down to watch the DVD at 19:00 hours and boy was it ever a good movie. As was in the case with the play, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone who enjoy's seeing a good quality movie. After the movie was over, we looked at the Special Features on the DVD. It talks about how the movie got started and what inspired the writer to come up with the movie. They also talk to some of the stars from the movie and then it talks about the title song. It was a very good movie. Dads New Truck

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. Once there I got my dad's bagde out of 13-1 and then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch, read the paper and watched some tv. Around 14:54 hours the pager went off for a fall victim in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got in my car and headed back out to Dohn's. Once there I got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got disiel and then headed on out to Dohn's house. Once I got my car I headed back into the "Barn". Once there I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. After that I ran up to McDonald's and got something to eat for dinner and then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then my father and I went for a ride in his brand new truck. It rides very nice. His new truck is a 2007 Ford Ranger, Extended Cab. Metalic Red. Has bedliner, running boards, fog lights, and is an automatic. After we got back, I got on the computer for a little bit. I then left and headed into town to get my hair cut. After that, I ran up to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and a gallon of iced tea. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished having a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I know you

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Dohn was already there. I parked my car and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got as far as the school when we were placed in service. So we turned around and went back to the shed. Dohn dropped me off and then headed on out to the house. I went inside and grabbed a candy bar and then headed out to my car. As I walked outside the pager went off for abdominal pains in Jackson Township. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there anf got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and come to find out it was Holly. We got her loaded up and then took her down to Hershey Medical Center. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. After I got my car from Dohn's house, I headed back into the shed to log my time in and do the paperwork from Holly's call. After I was done in there, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then ate lunch and got on the computer to do some things. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. Around 18:30 hours me and my father headed out to Dohn's house to pick up 13-1. After we got 13-1, we ran up to the township building so my father could take a look at the radio that was installed. After we were done up there, we headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer. Then around 19:18 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Wayne Township. I got my boots on and then we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and then I ended up driving 6's squad down to Holy Spirit Hospital. The lady we took down was Holly from the fire companies grandmother. So Megan brought her down to the hospital and they met us there. After we got what we needed, we headed on back and the medic headed on over to Harrisburg. We stopped at Sheetz and the medic gave us a backboard that he picked up at Harrisburg. We then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and did my paperwork. After I was done we headed on home. Once at home I ate a light snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will then be going to bed after watching some TV.

Gallager

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got changed into street clothes and then me and my mother got in her car and we headed on down to Costco's to pick up a few cases of water for at home. We first stopped at Target where I got a bag of the white chocoalte M&M's and I picked up two DVD's that have 4 episodes of Gallager's greastest cable TV specials. We then went over to Costco and got 5 cases of water, one of thier big pizza's and my mother got two bags of fruit. After we were done there, we headed on back. We stopped at Giant so I could get some bags of my chips, but they were all out of them. So we continued on home. Once at home, we unloaded the car and then I took a shower. After that I ate lunch and then sat down to watch the two DVD's. My father then came home and him and my mother sat down to talk about the truck they looked at yesterday down in Duncannon. Quiet Day at Last

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then helped my mother get the cats in their cages and then into her car so she could go to the vets. I then ate breakfast and read the paper. Once she came home I helped her bring the cats back in and then she went into Giant and I watched some TV. I then made and ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. The Poconco Sweep

Around 00:30 hours last night the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. Me and my father got dressed and then got in 13-1 and off we went. County told us that PSP was on the scene with a 19 year old highly intoxicated and having problems breathing. We got there and PSP was there and Bill showed up a few minutes later. We had the guy loaded and then the grandmother said that she would take responsibility for the kid. So we cancelled the medic, talked to medical command and then got the grandmother to sign and we took him to her house. After that we headed back to the "Barn" and Bill came to. I then did my paperwork and the three of us talked. After I was done we headed on home. Once at home I finished my popsicle and my email and then went to bed around 03:00 hours. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:30 hours when the pager went off for I believe it was a sick person in Upper Paxton Township. My father got up and took 13-1 into the shed for Deb and Kim to use. I then fell back to sleep and then got up again at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then took a shower and got on the computer. I then called Bubba to find out how we did at the parade. The Tanker took first place for Best Appearing and Equipped Tanker/Pumper and we got Farthest Distance Traveled. I then ran into Sheetz and filled the two gas cans that we use for the lawn mower and then headed on home to sit down and watch the race at Poconco. Denny Hamilin won again sweeping both races at the track this year. After that was over, I ate dinner and then sat down to watch some shows on TLC. Footloose

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed and then ate breakfast and read the paper. Me an my father then went into the "Barn" to pick up 13-1. After we picked the unit up, we headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer to do some things. Around 10:50 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. We got our boots on and then got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and then we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were going down, we got hit for a second call for seizures in Jackson Township. Amanda, Deb and Carol took the call. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We stopped at the shed and I did my paperwork and log our times in. Bill then stopped in and we got talking and then Scott stopped in. We talked for a little bit and then we all headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and ate dinner while I was on the computer. Then me and my father headed into the high school to stand by at the play. I would highly recommend the play "Footloose" presented by the Twin Valley Players. A lot of good singing, dancing, acting, and 80's fashion's. We were there for about 3 hours and I could watch the play over and over again if I could. After the play was over, we headed on home. Fire in the wall

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:20 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. When I was done reading the paper, I got my shoes on and got in my car and headed up to the township building. I got up there and Charlie was there. So we talked for a little bit and then at 12:00 hours, my mother called my cell phone and told me that the guy had just called the house and said he was on his way over. Once he got there, he installed the antenna on the building and then set the radio up and hooked all the cable together. It took him about 1-1/2 hours to do everything. After that was done I headed on home. Once at home I got on my computer to do somethings while I sat in the air conditioned room. I was showing my mom a video when around 15:15 hours the fire pager beeped, followed by the ambulance pager going off for a structure fire in Halifax Township. I got my shoes on and grabbed my hat and keys and ran to the car as the pager went off and the house siren started going off. I got in my car and took off for the fire station. I got up there and pulled in and the house siren was going down. I ran inside and Robbie had just finished putting his bunker pants on. I ran over and took my shoes off and pitched them in my stall and then got my bunker pants on. I then opened the side compartment of the tanker and then grabbed my jacket and helmet and threw them in and shit the compartment fot door. While I was doing that, Helen came in and started getting her bunker gear on. Then both me and Robbie got in the tanker and we took off. We made pretty good time, but we were cancelled as we were coming upon the Community Banks Operations Center. So we turned around at that strip mall and headed on back to the fire house. Once back there, Bruce and Helen were still there and we talked some. My father then stopped and the five of us got talking for a while. We then all left to head on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and then ate dinner while I was on the computer. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Fire in E-towns station

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:30 hours when the pager went off for heart problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there, parked and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded and then headed on down to the Halifax High School. Fortnye had me drive the squad down to the high school and once I parked it, I got back on the unit and we continued on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off and then after IO got my car, I headed back to the "barn". Once there, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After I was done there, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the computer to do some things. I then got off to eat dinner and then I got dressed and headed on down to county for training tonight. I stopped at Rite Aid and dropped off two perscriptions to be filled and then I continued on down to county. Training went good tonight and I left down there around 20:40 hours and headed on home. I first stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then stopped at Giant and got some chips and two gallons of iced tea. I ran into Holly while I was there and we talked for a few minutes. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Air Conditiner is in!!!!

I got out of bed and got dressed and started to make lunch at 12:00 hours when the pager went off for a call in Millersburg. 20 got out, so we were cancelled. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things when around 13:31 the pager went off for a nose bleed in Millersburg Borough at the Health Center. 20 got out and we were cancelled. 1 minutes later the pager went off again for a GI Bleed in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for Dohn's house. Once I got there, I parked my car and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Community General Osteo Hospital. Once we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once I got my car from Dohn's place, I headed back into the "Barn". Once in there, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. Once done, I then headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and ate dinner while I was on the computer. Me and my dad then went to Dohn's and picked up 13-1 and brought it out to the house. We just finished putting my air conditoner in my room and it is really making a difference. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Klingerstown Parade

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast, read the paper and watched a DVD. I then got on the computer to do some things, I ate lunch while I was on the computer. I then headed up to the fire house around 15:00 hours. Once up there I pulled the Utility out and took my time washing it due to the heat. After I was done, Robbie came over and washed the tanker and then Andy washed the engine once he showed up. Helen and Jessica did not go, so we were low on people. I took the Utility, Andy and Tonita went in the Engine and Robbie and Leeann went in the Tanker. We left the station around 17:35 hours and got up there a little after 18:00 hours. We saw a lot of companies up there and boy was this parade ever long and the crowd was huge. After we parked we walked around the carnival for some time. I got something to eat for dinner and then looked at what games they had. Robbie and Leeann headed back first, since Robbie had to be home by 22:00 hours. The rest of us left after having walked around some more and talked to a few people. We stopped at the Shell in Eville and got disiel and then headed back to the fire house. Once the rigs were parked and I took my gear out of the Utility, I headed on home. Boy is it hot

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got semi-dressed to try and stay cool. I then ate lunch and started to read the paper when around 12:15 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got the rest of the way dressed and then got in my car and headed for Dohn's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the guy loaded and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and then stopped at Shell and got disiel. We then headed to Dohn's house. Once I got my car I headed into the station to do a few things. I then headed to Giant and picked up two gallons of iced tea and headed on home. Once at home I finished reading the paper and then laid around trying to stay cool. I then ate dinner and then headed in to the "barn" for the meeting tonight. After the meeting was over, I stayed to do the minutes and my tripsheet. I was starting the regular meeting minutes when the pager went off for a fall victim in Halifax Township. I pulled 13-1 out and Kim showed up and off we went. It ended up being a refusal. Once back at the station I finished the minutes and then did my two tripsheets and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate a snack and am now getting ready to soon go to bed as I am tired and it is getting late.

Festival Day 3 and Party

Went to bed Friday night around 02:00 hours and got up at 07:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and headed up to the fire house so me and Bubba could fill a swimming pool in Eville. I called down to the house at 09:00 hours and Bubba was up at the fire house by 09:30 hours. While I was waiting for Bubba to show up, it rained off and on. Once Bubba showed up, I threw my gear in the tanker and then we left. We stopped at Gunder's and got something to drink and to eat and then continued over to the house. Once there, we filled the pool up and when we were done, we headed towards Millersburg to head on back. We stopped at BG's to pick up some supplies for the festival and then we went up to Shell and got disiel. We then headed to the pump house and filled the tanker up. We then headed back to the fire station. Once there I ran home real quick and grabbed my Fisherville shirt and a bottle of Gatorade and headed back up to the station. Once back up there, I helped Bubba enter fire call reports into the computer and then I entered in the information from all of the pool fills. We then got in the Utility to head up to Kratzer's for some supplies. As we were pulling out of the station, we heard the ambulance coming, and then the siren stopped. We noticed that they were headed over to Lake Tobias. So we decided to head on over that way to see if they needed any help. We got over there and 13-1 and Medic 6 were there. We stayed back and helped when they asked us to. After they left, we headed on up to Kratzer's. We picked up 2 box fans for in the hall window's and some othr misc. stuff. We then headed on back to the station. Once there, we put the fans in the window's and then I started carring stuff outside and setting it up. Then at 17:50 hours, Bubba said that we had to go fill a pool on the corner. So we went down there and filled the pool and then ran into the pump house and filled the tanker up again. After we were done in there, we headed on back out to the station. We got back and Bubba blocked the street off with the tanker and then I moved the Utility down and blocekd it off. I then grabbed a bite to eat and headed over to the dime pitch to get ready for the ensuring crowd that was going to come. We had a very good crowd last night. I made quite a bit of money on the dime pitch. It would have been more, but I gave about 50 bucks out from people winning the center money pot. I shut the stand down around 22:30 hours so we could tear down. It did not take us long to tear down. We were done by 00:30 hours and head everything put away also. After that I changed shirts and then we all sat around outside. They drank beer and I just drank soda. I really had a great time up there. Helen brought a radio down and we listened to music. Then people started putting ice down other peoples shirts. Then Jason and Lyle got the hose out and sprayed Holly. Well that started everything. Holly went and got a pitcher of water and went after Jason and Lyle. They jumped in Jason's truck and she got on the back and waited for them to get out. So Jason then took Holly for a ride around the block. Then they started spraying everyone and everyone got soaked except me and David. Oh I had a blast. We finally wrapped up around 05:00 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I crashed in bed and got up at 13:30 hours this afternoon. I got out of bed and took a shower and then ate a light lunch and read the paper. I then watched the race from New Hampshire. Kyle Busch won the race. I ate dinner while I watched the race and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Festival Day 2

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:10 hours to foloow my mother out to Heim's garage. She dropped her car off and then I took her home. Once back at home I went back to bed as I was still tired. I then got back up again at 10:40 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things. I then headed up to the fire house around 15:50 hours. I got up there and Bubba was setting up his drum set on stage. I started bringing stuff outside for the stands. Once everything was out, I went to work, setting the glasses up for the dime pitch. I then helped set some other things up. I then ate dinner up there and business started picking up around 19:30 hours. I think we had a very good crowd tonight and should have made a nice profit. We wrapped up around 22:30 hours and I left around 23:10 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack and am getting ready to go to bed as I am tried once again.

Festival Day 1

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this motning at 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and took a shower and then ate breakfast and read the paper. I then put all my pins and badges on my dress shirt and then got changed into my dress uniform. I then headed up to the fire house around 08:45 hours. I got up there and Eric was already there and Bubba was just heading into the station. We left the station around 09:30 hours and headed on up to Millersburg to the funeral home. We got up there and waited until 29 got there. Engine 29 finally showed up with like 5 minutes remaining of the viewing. After the viewing was over, we all lined up and headed for long's cemetary for the burial. As we were coming up on Dollar General, county toned out Box 216-2, for a smoke investigation. We turned around and headed back out on the call. It ended up being a controled burn and the box was placed in service. So Bubba went to the Shell in Eville to fuel up the tanker and I headed on home with the Utility to change clothes and to eat lunch. Once at home I changed out of my dress uniform and then ate lunch. After I was done I headed back up to the fire house. Once there I waited on Eric to get back so we could go out and hang up some posters in town. Once he got back we headed on into town and hung quite a few posters up. I then stopped at Shell and got fuel and grabbed something to drink. I then stopped at McDonald's so Eric could get something to eat. We then headed on back to the fire house. Once there we worked on setting various things up. Me and Bubba then ran out to Valley Ag and Turf so Bubba could pick up the tractor for us to use these three nights. We then got the rest of the stuff set up for the festival. I think things went very good for it being a Thursday night. Sue came out with the grandkids, so I got to see her, before she had to leave so suddenly. We wrapped up the carnival and I got home around 23:00 hours. I took a shower and ate a snack and am getting ready to hit the old bed and get some sleep.

On the roof

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 13:30 hours as I was really tired from doing all that work yesterday. I got out of bed and ate lunch and watched some TV and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things and ate dinner while I was on the computer. After I was done eating dinner, me and my father got into his truck and went into the "Barn" to pick up 13-1 and bring out to the house. After we picked up 13-1 we headed on home. We stopped by the fire house on the way home to talk to the guys and girls there. While we were there, it poured outside, but only lasted for about 8 minutes and then it stopped. We then headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer and juat finished eating a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. My Finger

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch, read the paper and watched some TV. I then got changed into street clothes and then headed up to the fire house. Eric was already there when I got there. We went in the old fire house and brough the cake wheel and ballon dart stands out and leaned them up against the hall. Bubba then showed up and we all piled into the Utility to go pick up some supplies. We first headed to Swab's so Bubba could show us a truck similar to what we are looking to build. After that we went to Kratzer's to pick up supplies. Whrn we came out, Eric put the box in the back of the Utility and when I shut the tailgate. the middle finger of my left hand, got caught between the tailgate and the cap. Boy did that son of a bitch ever hurt. I was able to drive, but my finger was really throabing with pain. We stopped at Gunder's to pick up iced tea and I grabbed two Gatorade's and had to sit on the bench outside as I was feeling a little lightheaded. After they loaded the Utility up, we headed back to the station. After we did that, Eric left and then me and Bubba started working on trying to put the steps back together. While Bubba was trying to do that, he had me move the chicken BBQ rack out of the old fire house and over across from the fire house for the time. After we could not get the steps working, we decided to run up to Klinger Lumber and get some wood to just start new again. Before we left, we moved the trailer over beside the fire house so we could chain it fast to one of the siren poles. We then ran up there and picked up some wood and then headed on back to the station. Once we got back, Helen and Leeann were there. Barb and Andy then showed up, followed by Lonnie, and then Bruce. Me, Bubba, Helen, and Leeann worked on the steps for a least 5 hours or more. While we were doing that, everyone else put the stands together and hung some of the lights. I left up there around 22:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack. I will be going to bed soon as I am really tired.

Festival Week

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:50 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and ate breakfast, watched TV and then read the paper. I then got on the computer to surf the net and do a few things. I ate lunch while I was online and then ate dinner while I was online. I went off duty at 16:00 and Carol came on to cover for me, since I had the fire company meeting to attend tonight. I headed up to the fire house around 18:30 hours. Once up there I took the other two boxes back to the closet in the hall and put them away. We then had the meeting, followed by us working on the stage for the festival. We worked on the stage until 22:00 hours. I then headed on home and once at home I took a shower and ate a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. County Executive Officers Re-Organization Meeting

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got dressed and then me and my father left to head on down to Penbrook for the County Executive Officers Re-Organization Meeting. We stopped at the "Barn" first to drop something off and to look at the door that was hit last night. Boy is it really bent. It is going to need replaced. We then continued on down to the meeting. We got down there and Joe and his son were there and Don and Darlene had just pulled in. Everyone else showed up and then we ate and then went over the committee's and the meeting places for the upcoming years, and then elected a Chairman and Vice-Chairman. After the meeting was over, we headed on home. Once at home we sat down and watched the race and then I ate dinner. Jeff Gordon won the race. After the race was over I took a shower and just finished eating a snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Pump Primers

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 08:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast. I then got dressed and then me and my father got in my car and headed on down to Harrisburg. We swung by Bill's house to pick up his camera for me to use and then we continued on our way. We got down there and parked and then walked over to river front park. We got there and went through the flea market. I got two books, three patches, $30.00 in pictures, a scanner, and a scale model open cab tiller for my father. My father got two books for himself. After we were done buying stuff, I ran it back over to my car. We then went and looked at the apparatus and took pictures. We first looked at the one's up on the grass, then went down along the river to the ones that were pumping. After we were done there, we got something to eat and then headed on home. We stopped at Sheetz on the way home and I got gas and then we stopped at the "Barn" so I could give Bill his camera and my dad could sign the checks. After that we headed on home. Once at home we shoed my mother what we both got and then I got to work scanning my many photo's in. I then took a shower, ate dinner and then a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Sue and Me

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and found out that the stuff I ordered from the Discovery Channel had arrived today. So I made lunch and then sat down and watched the DVD that I got. After that I got on the computer to do some things and to go through this last box of stuff from the fire house. Around 13:58 hours the pager went off for chest pains at Community Medical Associates in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I was excited because me and Sue were on today. So I got there and got in 13-2 with Sue and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped Jim off at Sheetz and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then I did my paperwork while I talked to Sue. She called Bill and then the three of us talked while I did my tripsheet. After I was done I headed up to Rite Aid and got a phone card and then headed on home. Once at home, I ate dinner and then took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Some Good Finds

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and then got dressed and then headed up to Troutman's. I got up there and they ended up taking the float out for good. I will just have to check my brake fluid regularly, which is not a problem. I then headed back down to Halifax. I went to the Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea and then went to the "Barn" to do my tripsheet from last night. I then headed on home and once at home I read the paper and watched some tv. I then changed the sheets on my bed and then made and ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. I then ate dinner while I was on the computer. One for the day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:58 hours when the pager went off for a call in Millersburg. 20 got out and we were cancelled. I stayed up and called Troutman's and got an appointment for my car to go in tomorrow. I then ate lunch and read the paper. After that I got on the computer to do some things. Then around 17:24 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at Shell on the way back to get disiel. After that we ran out to Dohn's house. I got my car and headed back into the "Barn". Once there I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and got back on the computer. Then around 20:20 hours the pager went off for an unknown problems in Jackson Township. Me and my dad got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the kid loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped Jim off at Sheetz and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged our times in and then put my tripsheet in my bin and then we headed on home. Once at home I ate a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Happy 4th of July!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. Me and my mother then ran into town. We stopped at the recycling bins and dropped off some stuff and then we ran up to Giant. While we were at Giant, I ran into Lyla from school and we talked for a little bit. We then got what we needed at the store. After that we headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. After I was done, me and my father started to play a game of football. Then around 17:30 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. My father and Deb took the call. I then ate dinner while I played some more football. Accident with Entrapment and Flyout

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then I ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 to play a game of college football. Around 13:00 hours I believe it was, the pager went off for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Dohn and Bill handled that call. I then finished up my game and my father came back to play a game with me. Then around i guess it was 15:20 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Reed Township, my father got dressed and headed into the station. After I could not find anyone, I ended up getting dressed and then headed in. I told my dad to just go responding and I would meet him on the scene. I got there and the guy ended up refusing to go down. So I then headed back to the "Barn" and Bill was there. I got my times and my dad came in and called Deb about her tripsheet and she said that she was on her way down now. After Deb finished her tripsheet, my father downloaded the information and then I did my paperwork from the refusal. I then heade up to Sheetz and got gas. I then headed on home. Once at home, I grabbed the one box of old minutes and ran them up to the fire house since I saw that the bay doors were opened. I then talked to him a little bit and then headed on home. As I left the firehouse I noticed that my brake light was on again. Needless to say that I was not happy. Once at home I called Troutman's and left a message that I wanted in this week and I wanted the new brake switch installed. I then was getting ready to make dinner and I opened my fire pager up and heard Eville responding to an accident on the top of the Berry Mountain by the quarry. My father got dressed and headed into the shed and I called Deb to let her know to headed towards the shed awhile. I then heard Chief 21-2 ask for us to be dispatched to check the other car on our side of the mountain. Since I was already dressed and had already put my shoes on, I grabbed my hat and keys and jumped in the car and headed towards the fire house awhile. When I pulled in the house siren was just starting it's second revalution. I ran inside and got my pants on and then grabbed my jacket and helmet and got in the officer's seat of the engine. Helen and Leeann were getting in the back and Bubba was getting in the driver's seat. We then pulled out of the station and Bubba had me run back inside and grab the portable radi0. I came back out and got in the engine and then we had to wait for Eric to get on the engine. We then went responding and headed on up towards the mountain. We ended up setting up a landing zone for life lion. We got up there and I grabbed the cones off of the engine while Bubba turned the engine around. Life Lion then landed and Chief 21 came down and took the flight crew up to the scene. We then waited for the ambulance to come back down. After about 20 minutes the ambulance came down and we loaded the Pt. in the chopper and then Life Lion took off. Oh I forgot to mention that Andy and Barb brought the Utility up to the scene also. We then hung around to help block the road off. We then headed back to the station to fill out the report. I then talked for some time and then I headed into Shell to grab a bottle of Gatorade. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate dinner around 23:30 hours. I will be going to bed soon as it is late.

Down to the Grandparents

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got upt his morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower and then read the paper. I then got dressed and moved my car over in front of my father's truck. I then brough the cooler up and started getting things ready to take down to my grandparents house. We then loaded everything up in my mother's van and headed on down to their house. We got down there and took everything in. My brother then cooked out on the grill and we then ate. While we were down there, we also celebrated my grandmother's birthday which is July 6th. After we ate she opened her gifts and then we sat around and talked. We then ate desert and then played the Price is Right on the tv. We then left and headed on home. Once at home we brought everything in and then I got on the computer to hit the old email and surf the net. I just finished eating a snack. Slow Day in July

Went to bed last night around 00:30 hours as I was really tired and got up this morning at 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then are lunch, read the paper and watched a little tv. Me and my father then headed into the "Barn" to get 13-2 and bring it out to the house. We stopped at the house and my father picked up some paperwork and then we ran out to Wayne Township to drop it off. After that we headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 to play some college football. I ate dinner while I played and then got off to watch the Pepsi 400 from down at Daytona. Tony Stewart won the race.
