Penn State Back In Form

Went to bed last night around 02:40 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:30 hours when the pager went off for a pregancy in Halifax Borough. Sue and Carol took that call. After they went enroute to the hospital, I reset my pager and went back to sleep. I was again rocked out of bed around 06:30 hours when the pager went off again for an unconscious person in Halifax Township. Bill and Deb handeled that call. After they went enroute to the hospital, I reset my pager again and went back to sleep. I got up around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3 until the start of the Penn State game. The game was good. Penn State looked a little rough in the first quarter, but then picked it up afterwards. I ate dinner while I watched the game. It was an overall good game, lots of scoring on our side. The final score was 33-7. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Lonely Day

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. I then ate lunch and watched a DVD for 2 hours. I then got off and got on the computer to do somethings and I also ate dinner. It was a quiet day with no calls. I went off duty at 18:00 hours and I headed up to the fire house to work on some things. I was there until around 22:30 hours and then Bill called me and asked me if I wanted to play cards for a few hours. I said I would be up and headed up to Millersburg abd played cards for a few hours. I left up there around 00:50 hours and headed on home. I am now getting ready to take a shower and then I am going to crash in bed.

Rainy Evening

Around 20:00 hours last night the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got there and Scott had just pulled in. We got in 13-2 and off we went. We ended up being cancelled, but we decided to head out to the house just to make sure everything was ok. It was and we headed back to the shed. Once there I waited for Sue to show up to do her tripsheets. She showed up and then Amanda showed up. Alf swung by also while we were there and we talked. I then did two of Sue's narrative's and Amanda's also. I had a hell of a good time out there last night. Once we were done in there, I headed on home. Once at home I ate a snack and watched Mythbusters. Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I sat down to watch an episode of Emergency. My mother then came home and we talked a little bit and then I watched 2 more episodes of Emergency. I have now finished Season 1 of Emergency. After I was done, I got on the computer to do somethings. It has been a quiet day with no calls. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. Right now it is raining out and the power went out once already for a few seconds before coming back on. I get my hair cut later on tonight and then I will be back online. Cards and more

Went to bed Monday night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed early in the morning when the pager went off for a call. I turned the pager down and listened to it and then reset it and went back to sleep. I then got up around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then read the paper and ate lunch. I then got on the computer to do somethings. I then got off a little before 15:00 and got on the PS2 to play a game of college football. I ate dinner while I played. I then got off and left the house around 18:10 hours to head to Millersburg. I stopped at the fire house first and picked up my gear. I then stopped at Viv's house to drop something off and her and me got talking. I then headed on up to Millersburh. I stopped at Shell in Millersburg abd got gas and then headed up to Keith and Michelle's house. Once up there we played cards and had pizza and talked. Me and Bill left there around 01:20 hours and I headed on home. I stopped at the fire house and dropped my gear off and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then crashed in bed. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:04 hours when the pager went off for a CVA in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to the "Barn". I got in there and parked my car and went inside. Dohn then showed up and we got in 13-2 and off we went. We got out there, and Sue was already there. It ended up being a refusal. We then headed back to the shed, and I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After that I headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things. I ate a light lunch while I was on the computer and ate dinner also. Then around 18:19 hours the pager went off for an Life Alert in Jackson Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the shed. Scott was already there when I got there and we got in 13-2 and off we went. Dohn went to the scene and it ended up that the lady accidently bumped the button. So we went available and headed back to the station. Once there, I logged the rest of my time in for the day and then headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Training

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours as I was really tired. I was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:00 hours when the pager went off. Bill and Dohn took that call. Then around 11:00 hours the pager went off for a second call in Millersburg, and Medic 6 handeled that one. I then got up around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things and then got watched Dr. Phil at 15:00 hours. I then ran into the "Barn" and picked up ths stuff that my father loaned to the ambulance to use and then headed on home. I then ate dinner and headed up to the fire house for training. Training was good and I learned some good things. I left up there around 20:15 hours and headed on home. Once at home I had a snack and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. At the Firehouse all day

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning around 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast and read the comics. I then headed up to the fire house for the chicken BBQ. Once up there I put the charcoal in the trailer and then set to work on the door. LeeAnn showed up next and then Bubba came up. We ended up taking the door apart on the old fire house and that took us probally almost close to an hour to do that, so we were a little behind from the start. We then got the trailer out and got the chicken going. We set that canopy up since it was raining off an on and we cooked under the canopy. We finished cooking the chicken around a little after 11:00 hours. We had quite a bit of chicken left over and I went out and sold about half of the one cooler before I went back to the fire house. I dropped the cooler off and then ran back out home to pick up my chicken half and a Gatorade and then headed back up to the station. I ate my chicken and then we started on building barn style doors for the old fire house. It took us about 5 hours to build them and then we put the trailer away. I then talked for awhile up there and then finally left there around 21:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack and read the paper. I am getting ready to crash in bed soon as I am really tired.

Sue's Tattoo

Went to bed Thursday night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for heart problems in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Dohn was already there. I parked my car and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and it ended up being released to BLS and after we loaded the lady up we took her down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After I was done, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch. I then got on the computer to do some things. I ate dinner and then around 17:53 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township. I got in my car and headed to the church in town. I parked my car and went over and stood in front of Bubba's house and Dohn picked me up there. We got on scene and got the lady loaded up and Medic 6 went down with us, and then we headed on down to Community General Osteo Hospital. While we were heading down there, the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. Sue, Amanda and Carol took that call. After we got what we needed down at the hospital, we headed on back. We dropped the medic of at his squad and then Dohn ran me out to my car. Once I got my car, I stopped over at the fire house and picked up my gear and then headed home. Once at home I quickly changed into street clothes and then grabbed some things and threw them in my car and headed back into the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. 13-1 then got back and I talked to Sue and Amanda and Sue showed me the tattoo she got. It is really cute, though she said it hurt like hell. I then talked with them for a little bit more and then headed up to Millersburg to play cards with Bill, Keith and Michelle. We played cards until 02:00 hours in the morning. While I was there, Michelle got a call that Matt Danner was in Hershey Hospital. Once at home, I took a shower and then crashed in bed. I got up this morning around 11:20 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I got on the PS2 to play Burnout 3. I then got off to watch the Penn State game. I ate dinner while I watched the game. The first half was good, not a lot of scoring, but then the second half, we really shot ourselves in the foot. Too many mistakes were made and we ended up losing 28 to 6. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I want to work at Victoria Secrets

Went to bed last night around 02:05 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours when the pager went off for a call. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then read the paper and then ate lunch while I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3. I then got ready to head down to the job fair at the Harrisburg East Mall. Me and my mother left in seperate cars around 14:30 hours and headed on down. We got down there and went in. It was not as good as we thought it was going to be. I talked to a few people, but not like I wanted to. We then walked around the mall and then met up with my father. Me and my father then headed over to Sam's. He went to Wal-Mart and picked up some Thera-flu for my mother, while I got gas at Sam's. We then went into Sam's and got water and something to eat. We then headed over to County for training. Training was good, and we talked with a few people and then we headed on home. I stopped at Sue's to drop Amanda's CPR card off, and they were nto home, sop I called Sue's cell phone. They were out at the Carsonville Hotel, having a get together. So Sue told me to put the card in the mailbox, which I did. I then went to Giant and got some popcicle's and then went back to Sue's house to double check that I had put the card in the mailbox, which I did. I then stopped at the "Barn" and picked up a few alcohol swabs for my father. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack and am soon going to go to bed as I am tired.

The End of an Era

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my boots on and headed into the "Barn". When I got there, Carol and Susie were there. So I parked over by the kitchen and I ate a ham sandwich. I then saw Susie leave and then I headed back to the office to do my final minutes. Carol was still in the office talking on the phone when I walked in. She only stayed for a few more minutes, and then she left. I then did the minutes and gathered up some stuff that I took in there for the association to use, and brought the stuff home. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the computer to do somethings. I just finished eating dinner and my father is still gathering up things to take in to the shed to drop off, as he is resigning. It is a damn shame that it has to end like this. but in the long run it will be better for his health, and the ambulance company is losing a very good man that has done a lot for that company. Training on Trains

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up thsi morning around 07:30 hours when my father woke me up. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast. Me and my father then left here and we headed on down to the Norfolk Southern rail yard in Harrisburg for training. We got down there and registered and then laid out what classes we were gonna take. It was an overall good day. There was a lot of good classes, but of course we could not attened all of them. A boxed lunch was provided for us and then we continued with training after lunch. We left there a little after 15:00 hours and headed on home. We stopped at the Exxon on Front Street and my father got gas for his truck and then we continued on home. Once at home I read the paper and ate dinner, and my father went around gathering stuff up to turn in at the "Barn", as he is resigning from the company. I then headed on up to Keith and Michelle's to play cards. I stopped at he fire house and picked up my gear and then headed up to Millersburg. I got there and Bill showed up about a half an hour later. They then ordered some pizza and then we played cards. I left there around 00:03 hours and headed on home. While I was heading home, the pager went off for a call in Millersburg, I called Sue to see if she heard the call, and we ended up being placed in service as 20 got out. I then got home and once at home I took a shower. I then got on the computer to do some things. Then around 01:50 hours the pager went off for a fall victim in Millersburg Borough at Polk Appartments. I called Sue to make sure she heard the call, and I talked with her until she went responding. They are now heading to Holy Spirit Hospital. I am going to bed very soon, as I am tired.

Secretary no more

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 11:00 hours when the pager went off for a Psychiatric problem in Millersburg Borough at the Frederick Health Center. I got out of bed and got dressed and then headed into the "Barn". I got there and pulled in behind Carol. We both then got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the kid loaded and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at Sheetz and got disiel and then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After that I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched Dr. Phil. I then got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3 and ate dinner. Me and my father then headed into the shed for the meeting tonight. Well in the end, the meeting turned sour again, and I have now resigned as Secretary for the Association and the Firemen's Relief. We left the meeting and headed on home. CPR

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 08:55 hours. I got out of bed and asked my father what the hell he was doing, as class started at 09:00 hours. He thought it started at 13:00 hours and I said no. We then hurried around and got dressed and then headed into the "Barn". Amanda, Bill, Scott, Kathy, Dohn and Carol were all there already. Kim and Deb came in later. Class took some time but it was good. We finished before 15:00. Amanda then did her tripsheet from Friday and then my father downloaded, and then I did my refusal from yesterday. We then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched the end of the race. Kevin Harvick won again. After that I took a shower and then ate dinner while I got on the PS2 and played Burnout 3. I then got off around 20:30 hours and got on the computer to do some things. Then around 21:20 hours the pager went off for a traumatic injury in Jackson Township. It was the guy that refused to go down yesterday. Amanda, Scott and Carol handeled the call. Scott then called my cell phone and asked if we could come out to help lift, and I told him that we would be out. So me and my father got dressed and then got in his truck and went to the scene. We got there and Dohn had just pulled up also to help. We helped carry the guy down the steps and put him in the ambulance. Then they went down to the hospital. My Day with Sue, and my Evening with Amanda

Went to bed thursday night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed around 05:30 hours when the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in the car and headed for the "Barn". I got there and Sue was already there and sitting in 13-1. I parked my car and got in and off we went. It was Scott's grandmother. We got there and got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back up. We dropped Scott off at his truck and then dropped the medic off at Sheetz. We then went over to Shell and got diseil and then went back to the shed. Sue did her tripsheet from the other day and then I did my paperwork from the call. After we were done, we took the unit an went to her house for the day. I went out to her house to help her price stuff for the yardsale, but she wanted to clear her kitchen first. So I helped her move some stuff around and I kept her company. We ran up to McDonald's around 14:00 hours and grabbed something to eat and then went back to her house. Kimmey stopped in to clean Sue's house while I was there, and my father also stopped to talk to Sue about a few things. Bob then came home and we left the house around 17:45 hours to take the unit back to the shed. We stopped at Giant so I could pick up some Chocolate Milk for my father and then took the unit out to the shed. Once there, I got in my car and headed on home. Once at home I changed clothes and then headed back into the High School for the football game. I got there and parked and took my trumpet up to the stands and then grabbed something to eat for dinner. We played Williams Valley and blew them out of the water. Sue and Amanda saw me in the stands and, Sue asked if she could borrow some money from me so they could get something to eat. So I gvae her a $20. After I watched the half time show, I walked over to talk to them, and they were getting ready to take a lady down to the hospital. So I talked to Dohn for a little bit and then I talked to Lee, Dave, and Bones, and then Matt and Charlie for a little bit and then went back over into the stands for the fourth quarter. I was sitting in the stands when I saw Engine 29-1 leaving with it's lights on. So I called Scott to ask him what was going on, and he told me it was an accident with entrapment. So I put my trumpet away and then said goodbye to Aunkst and Damon and then ran to my car and then headed out to the scene. I got out there and parked my car and then went to my trunk and grabbed my turnout jacket and put that on. I then grabbed my keys out of the igination of my vehilce and then started to run towards the scene. I got about a foot from my door, when I stepped in a driange ditch, twisted my ankle and feel. I got right back up and continued over to the scene to help with extrication. Medic 6 ended up taking the call, cause they weren't back yet. We ended up flying the guy out. I then helped clean stuff up and then talked to a few of the guys from 29 and then headed to the fifth quarter at the church, so I could have either Amanda or Sue look at my left ankle. I got there and parked and went down to the ambulance and Amanda said she would look at my ankle. She was so sweet, kind and caring for me. I took my shoe and sock off and she found some swelling, so she took an ice pack and put it in a triangular bandage and then wrapped it around my ankle. She then took some wipes and cleaned my pants off, so it wasn't so evident that I had fallen. She then got me a drink from the church and kept checking on me. After I rested in the unit for about 45 minutes, it felt somewhat better and I then got out to talk with them, along with Alf, Matt and some of the other guys from 29 that showed up. I then left and headed up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then crashed in bed.

I woke up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed had just gone out in the living room, when the pager went off for a call in Millersburg Borough. I put my boots on and then me and my father headed out to my car, when we were placed in service as Millersburg got out. We decided to head into the "Barn" and get the unit. So we brought 13-1 home and once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch. I then got on the computer to do some things. The pager went off again for another call in Millersburg. I got my boots on and we went responding, and 20-1 placed us in service. So then we headed into Rite Aid to look for some batteries for a stop watch. We could not find them, so we went home. Once at home I got back on the computer. Then around 16:40 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township. I got my boots on again and then we got in the unit and off we went. We got there and then Scott showed up, followed by Bill, PSP, and then Perry Medic 81. The Pt. refused to go down, so we got a refusal and then went back to the shed. Once at the shed, I logged our times in and then got my times and put the tripsheet in my folder. We then went to McDonald's and got something to eat for dinner. We then headed on home. Longest Game of Uno Ever

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 06:30 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township, in front of Sheetz. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there, parked and pulled 13-2 out. Dohn and Carol then showed up. Dohn got in 13-2 and Carol pulled 13-1 out. Bill turned in as we were pulling out. We got on the scene and Halifax Fire Department was already working on removing the roof of the vehicle. After we got the people out, both units headed down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We then took 13-2 up to Engles and then headed back to the shed. Once at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After I was done, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch and got on the computer to do some things. Then around 14:04 hours the pager went off for an unconscious person in Millersburg Borough at Dr. Ellis's office. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed for Carol's house. I got there and parked and for in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded and then took her to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed there, we stopped at Wendey's so Jim could get something to eat. We then headed on back. We dropped Jim off at Sheetz and then headed back to Carol's house. Once I picked my car up, I headed back into the shed. My dad was there, when I got there and we talked for a little bit. I then logged my time in and did the paperwork from the call. After I was done, I headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner while I got back on the computer. I left the house around 18:25 hours to headed up to Keith and Michelle's house. I stopped at the fire station first and grabbed my gear and put it in my trunk and then headed up to Millersburg. I had a great time playing cards up there, and can't wait to do it again. After we were done up there, I headed on back. I stopped at the shed to talk with Bill for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to hit the sack as I am tired.

Middle of the Week

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of sleep this morning around 08:30 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Borough. Dohn and Carol took the call. The Pt. was Deb. I fell back asleep and was rocked out of sleep again around 09:40 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. Medic 6 took that one. I could not go back to sleep, so I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then read the paper. I then watched three episodes of Emergency on tv and ate lunch. After they were over, I got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. After I was done, me and my father ran into the "Barn" and brought 13-2 out to the house. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Car and Research

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of sleep around 04:30 hours when the pager went off for a Cardiac Arrest in Halifax Township. Bill and I believe Dohn handeled the call. It ended up being a Signal 12. I then reset the pager and went back to sleep. I then got up around 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got uot of bed, ate breakfast and then changed into street clothes and then headed up to Troutman's. Once up there I dropped the car off and then read the paper and talked with Chris at the service desk. After I got my car back I went over to the Sentinel and did research in 1966, 1967, and 1968. While I was sitting there, Millersburg was dispatched to Polk Assisted Living for a Cardiac Arrest. I ran out and down to my car and went uo to Polk to help. I got up there and it ended up being a Signal 12. After I made sure they did not need any help, I headed back to the Sentinel to finish up my research. I left up there around 14:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I set to the task of logging all my articles in to my database. I ate dinner while I did this and I fished up around 21:20 hours. I then took a shower and just finished eating a snack. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. 5 Years

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:45 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ran into Community Banks and cashed my check. I then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch while I played a game of college football on the PS2. I then ate dinner while I played on the PS2 also. I then left and headed up to the fire house for the meeting. The meeting went good. I got my chicken BBQ tickets and also my fruit papers. After the meeting was over, me, Dave and Holly stood outside and talked for about close to 2 hours. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old sack as I am tired. Also least we not forget everyone who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.

A Day of Relaxation

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then read the paper and then ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. It was a slow, relaxing day today for me. Bill had two calls today, one in Millersburg and then an accident around 13:50 hours in town. After I was done eating dinner, I ran into the "Barn" to help my father set things up for class tonight. After I was done in there, I headed on home. I will eat my words

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of sleep around 04:00 hours for breathing problems in Reed Township at the truck stop. 12 got out and we were placed in service. I reset the pager and went back to sleep. I then got up at 09:00 hours and got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then we got stuff together for Josh's birthday party at Hoss's. We left the house up here around 10:00 hours and headed on down to my Grandparents house. We picked my grandparents up and then headed over to Hoss's. We got there and got everything set up. The party was great and there was a good turn out. The food was great as it always is and the cake was good too. After the party was over, we took everything down and then headed back to my Grandparents house. We dropped them off and grabbed a few pieces of cake to take home and then we headed on home. We got home in time to watch the second quarter of the Penn State game. I will eat my words, as we lost to Notre Dame. They played a better football game then we did, but I still believe that we are going to be a good team this year. But all you Notre Dame fans, mark my word, your Big Ten conference winning streak will be one, cause Michigan is gonna run all over you next weekend. After the game was over, we watched the race from Richmond. Kevin Harvick won the race. It was a good race, not a lot of cautions again this week. I took a shower earlier in the evening, during half time of the game, so I ate a snack after the race was over and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Dave Houseal

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning arounf 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then helped my mother with the picture poster board for my brothers birthday party tomorrow. After that I then sat down to play a game of college football on the PS2, when around 13:49 hours the pager went off for a fainting in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn was already there. We both got in 13-2 and had some problems starting it, so we jumped over to 13-1. We went responding and got on the scene and Medic 6 released and we got the guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. After I was done I headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and got ready to head on down to Lingelstown for the County Booster Meeting tonight. I left here around 18:45 hours and headed on down. The meeting was good. Dave Houseal was the guest speaker and he talked about the various fire stations of the 16 companies of the city of Harrisburg. I talked to Dave after the meeting was over and left down there around 22:20 hours and headed on home. I ran into construction traffic going around the mountain. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then stopped at Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a snack and am soon going to go to bed as I am tired.

EMERGENCY!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then sat down and watched three episodes of Season 1 of Emergency. Then around 14:50 hours the pager went off for a Chimney Fire in Upper Paxton Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Carol was already there and she was pulling 13-2 out. I parked my car and got in and we went responding. I then asked County to check with Command 20 to see if they needed us at the scene, and County came back and said that fire was placing us in service. I then headed on back home to finish watchign Emergency. I just finished eating dinner and will be taking a shower soon. I wll then check my email and surf the net. A Day in Millersburg

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 09:30 hours when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed for the "Barn". I got there and Dohn was already there and he was pulling 13-2 out. I parked my car and got in and off we went. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the guy loaded and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We dropped Scott off at his squad and then headed back to the shed. Bill was there when we got back and I logged my time. I then headed back home and picked up my pill bottle and then ran back into Rite Aid. Once I got my medication, I then ran over to Giant and picked up a gallon of iced tea. I then went back to the shed and did my paperwork from the call. After I was done there, I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then I got on the computer. Then around 15:59 hours the pager went off for seizures in Upper Paxton Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed for Dohn's house. I got there and parked the car and then got in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and ended up calling for Medic 6 for ALS and Millersburg Fire Company for lifting assistance. After we got the lady loaded up, we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at Sheetz and he went responding on another call in Millersburg. 20 was in service now and they took the call. We then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. My father came in while I was doing that and then we brought the unit home. He dropped me off at Dohn's house and I picked up my car and then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. My Last Day Off

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. I did not do much today. I relaxed as it was my last day off before I go back to work. I played 2 games of college football on the PS2. I also ate dinner while I was on the PS2. There were a few calls today, one came in while I was out moving stuff around in the one shed, trying to find something for my mother. I got off the PS2 around 20:00 hours and then watched "Dirty Jobs" until 24:00 hours. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then I ate a small lunch and read the paper. I then helped my mother get things together for the cook out down at my Grandparents today. I helped her load the car up and then we left here around 12:00 hours. We got down there and took everything in. My brother then started cooking on the grill, and I spent some time talking to my Grandparents. We ate and then we pulled out some photo albums to look through. My mom and my brother went over to Sam's to pick up a few things and then came back. When we got down to their house, they asked us if we had heard about the Steve Irwin, the Crocadile Hunter being killed and we said no. So we turned on CNN and watched them talk about what happen. It is a terriable loss. He then opened up his gifts and then we ate ice cream cake. We stayed and visited to a little bit more and then we left and headed on home. Once at home we unlaoded the car and I took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Accident with Fire

ut Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then took a shower. I then got on the computer to do some things. I was on the computer and had the fire pager open, when Box 29-2 was hit for a vehicle fire around 14:16 hours. I didn't think anything of it, until county hit for the engine. I then threw my shoes and hat on, ran out and told my dad what we had, then jumped in my car and headed for the station. I pulled in up there, and ran inside and Robby was getting his gear on, and I heard the engine running. Bubba had the engine running, so me and Robbie got in the engine and we took off, my dad just missed the engine, so he followed us to the scene. We got there and Matt Danner and Chuck Matter was already there, along with Kim Stout. I got out and we checked the car and found no fire. Me and my father and me decided to put the chopper in the air, due to at the time we thought she was ejected. The medic ended up cancelling the chopper. After we helped get the girl on a backboard and then onto the stretcher and loaded into the back of the ambulance, we were released and we headed back to the station. Once back at the station most of us sat around and bullshited about things. I then ran home and grabbed my cell phone and watch and headed back up to the station to help Bubba with some things. I left there around 20:10 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and watched the race from California. Kasey Kane won the race. It was a good race, not a lot of cautions. A Good Start to a Season

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and got on the computer to do some things and check on some things. I then got off and read the paper. I then setteled down to watch the Penn State game against Akron. The game was good, considering it was raining. Morelli looks really good, has a great passing range. The Wide Reciever's look good also. Over all it was a very good game, with Penn State beating Akron. I made and ate dinner during half time of the game. After the game was over, I had a few things to do to help my mother get stuff ready for the cook out this Monday at my Grandparents. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I ate a snack while I was on the PS2. I then got off and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Here Comes the Rain

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things. The beginning of the day was slow, then around 16:29 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Borough. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and pulled in behind Carol. Bill was there and had the bay door opened, the unit running and had our information for us. We both got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and then Jim showed up and we then headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped Jim off at his squad and then backed the unit in. I then logged my time in and did the paperwork from the call. After I was done, I headed up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home.
