An offer to think about

Went to bed Tuesday night around 02:00 hours and got up at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. After that I then ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. Sue then got ahold of me on AIM and told me to go to my myspace, as Amanda had a job to offer me. So I checked it out. She is offering me a job to work as a detailer with her down at the body shop she works at in New Cumberland. I asked her some general questions and she gave me some info. I told her I would think about it and get back to her. I then ate dinner and then headed up to the fire house for bingo. Bingo went good. Bubba was working, so he wasn't there. I left up there around 21:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played some Grand Theft Auto and then watched Mythbusters on TV. I also sent Amanda another message, asking her for some more information on the job. I went to bed around 02:00 hours and tossed and turned and fell asleep around 04:00 hours. I got up at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper and then ate a pack of crackers. I checked my myspace and Amanda had sent me a reply. I am going down on Monday to talk to her manager about the job. After that I did some things online. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH. I then took a shower and helped my mother with a few things outside. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. File Cabinet

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 08:13 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate a small breakfast and read the paper. Me and my mother then got in her car and we headed on down to the lower part of the county to do some shopping. We first stopped at the Colonial Park Mall. I went to VS and got three gift cards. From there we went to Costco's and picked up three cases of water, and some other things. From there, we then went to Big Lots and picked up a few things. We then went to the Dollar Tree, Gabrial Brother's the bank and then finally to Staples. While I went into staples, my mother went to Giant and got a few things. I found a 4 drawer file cabinet that I bought for $119.00. I also got 5 boxes of hanging file folders. My total was an amazing $158.93 for everything. We got the file cabinet loaded up into the back of my mother's van and then we headed on home. Once at home, my father, who was home sick today, helped me bring the file cabinet in the house and into my room. Once I finished helping my mother unload the rest of the car, I set to work moving the stuff out of the corner beside my computer. I then placed the file cabinet in the corner at an angle. I then started the 6 hour task of filing all of my research, personal stuff, and training materials and info. After all is said and done, I think I made a great investment. I took a short break to eat dinner, and then I was right back to it. After I was all done, I took a nice realxing shower and then ate a piece of pumpkin pie. Radio Training

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper and watched a little tv. I then ate lunch and then changed into street clothes. We then loaded my car up with some stuff to take to the recycling bins. My mother and me then headed into town. We first stopped at the recycling bins and dropped off plastic bottles, tin cans, junk mail, and cardboard. We then went to Community Banks and had change that we had in a pretzel jar counted and deposited in our accounts. We then went over to Shell and took my car through the automatic car wash. We then ran down to Giant and picked up a few things. We then headed down to the Post Office and we each got two books of stamps. I then swung by the "Barn" as Bill was there. We went inside the office and I gave him that disk and logged my time in. We then talked a little bit and then I helped Bill take the sign down out front. We then headed on home. Once at home I helped my mother hang large ornaments on our Red Maple Tree out front. I then went inside and cleaned out the corner beside my computer again. I then swept the floor and stacked the stuff back in the corner for now. I then got on the computer and played a little Battleship while I ate dinner. After I was done, I headed up to the fire house for training tonight. Training was good tonight. We had Andy's father come in along with a friend of his and go over ham radio operators and what they do and how they can help the fire service in a disaster. We then went over radio proceedures for when we go responding and arriving on the scene. After that Andy showed Bubba the christmas party video and I went outside while they looked at it. I then came back inside and got some pictures of the old apparatus for andy to use in the slide show. I then went down to the fire house where Bubba, Robbie, Dave and Holly were. I helped them move old 1-1/2" hose on the hose rack around, so we could put the new hose on the rack to get it out of the way. After that I talked a little bit more and then I headed on home. Still fighting that Cold

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and boy did I ever sleep. I took a Benadyrl before I went to bed last night for my cold. I woke up this afternoon around 12:45 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I got on the PS2 to play some college football. The first game I played was against Akron. I won, 119 to 37. I then played a second game against Notre Dame. I won that game 90 to 48. With that second win, and with Texas losing, I moved up to the #1 team in the nation in the AP polls. My next game is against #8 Ohio State, should be a good game when I play it. I ate dinner while I played the second game. I then got off at 20:00 hours and came over to my room and cleaned out my one corner by my computer and threw some stuff away. I am now going to start looking for a filing cabinet for in my room to file a lot of my historial stuff, training materials, cert's, and other stuff away. Christmas Tree Lighting

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:30 hours. I had tossed and turned all night long with my nose. I am right now working my way through a cold, which is pretty common for me at the start of winter. I got out of bed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I got on the PS2 to play a game of college football. I started playing a game against Louisana Tech. At halftime, my parents asked me if I wanted to watch the movie Ice Age 2, The Meltdown. I decided to take a break from the game and watch the movie. After the movie was over, I finished my game while I ate dinner. I won the game, but I forget what the score was. I then left the house around 17:40 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and parked my car and went into the fire hall. Bubba's family was there and they were celebrating Thanksgiving. I sat down and talked with Bubba for a little bit and then I went down to the fire station to get my gear and put it in the Engine. Me and Lonnie took the Engine and Bubba and LeeAnn took the Tanker into the cemetary across from Giant. We were going to the memorial tree lighting. Ornaments are bought and placed on the tree in memory of someone. The money then goes to the local fire companies. Along with us, Halifax, Carsonville, Millersburg and Eville were all there. It was cold out and I ended up putting my bunker jacket on to keep warm. After the ceremony was over, we went up to the office for hot chocolate and cookies. After that we ran over to Shell and got fuel for the trucks. We then headed back to the station. Once there, I got my gear off the Engine and put it away and then went up to the hall to talk to Bubba for a little bit more and then I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then watched Fox 43 newx at 10 since they were at the ceremony tonight. Bubba was on TV, so now he owes me a beer. I then ate a piece of pumpkin pie. Too Close for Comfort

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper and watched some TV. I then ate lunch while I watched some more TV. At 14:08 hours, the pager wenr off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township. It was two houses above Sue's house. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and parked my car and got in 13-2 and off we went. Scott was on the scene before us. It ended up being seizures. Scott brought the kid out to the unit and we met medic 6 at the church and then we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off and then ran out to pick up mu car. Once I got my car I headed back into the "Barn". Once there, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. After I was done, I ran up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer to do some things. I then left the house around 18:10 hours to head up to Millersburg. I stopped at the fire house and grabbed my gear and then headed up to the Casey's house. Once there we played Uno, Phase 10 and then Texas Hold 'Em. I left up there around 00:10 hours and headed on home. I stopped at the fire station and dropped my gear off. I then headed on home. As I was getting ready to turn onto Creek Road, my cell phone rang. It was Sue. She asked me which way she was to turn to get to the call. I asked her where it was and she told me she thought it was on Enders Road. They found out the address and told me and I told Sue how to get to the scene and that I was heading to the scene also. It was for an unconscious person. I got on the scene and went inside the house, Scott then showed up, followed by 13-2. Sue, Amanda and Kim Stout were on the unit. Medic 6 then showed up. Me and Scott carried the stretcher down to the unit and then I talked to Sue for a few minutes and then they left and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a popsicle. I am getting ready to crash in bed for the night.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:30 hours. Amanda sent me a text message wishing me a happy turkey day, and I sent her one back. I then got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then read the paper. The three of us left the house around 11:50 hours and headed on down to Grantville to the Croass Roads Cafe for our Thanksgiving meal. We got down there and went inside and got seated at our table. My grandparents, brother and aunt and uncle then showed up. It was a buffet style dinner. They had turkey, ham, roast beef, and all the trimings. It was a good meal and I went away stuffed. We then all went back to my grandparents house and my brother showed us a movie. While we were watching the movie, around 15:41 hours, my fire pager went off for a structure fire in Halifax Township. Needless to say I was a little pissed that I was missing a structure fire. We left there house around 16:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I changed shirts and then got in my car and headed up to the fire station. I got up there and saw that the emptied the house. So I grabbed my gear and threw it in my trunk and then started in towards the scene and help with overhaul. I got as far as the ambulance shed, when I heard the Engine and Utility go available. So I turned around and headed back to the station to wait on them. The Engine and the Utility got back. Lyle and Lonnie had the Utility and they backed it in. Jason, Bruce, LeeAnn and Jamie were all on the Engine. Andy and Barb went to the scene along with Jean. Robbie and Sean were in the Tanker which was still at the scene. I helped them get the hose out of the back of the Utility and roll it out to be cleaned. I then wrote the report out for Jason. They then told me that the Engine ste up a fill site and that they sent man power down to the scene. It was a chimney fire with extension into an interior closet. We then talked and we all left there around 18:30 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. A Semi-Busy Day

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed around 08:12 hours when the pager went off for a call at SLV. 20 got out and we were placed in service. I reset my pager and went back to sleep. I was rocked out of bed again around 08:52 hours when the pager wenr off for a CVA in Millersburg Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed. I then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and pulled in behind Dohn and we got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Bill was at the shed when we got there. Once there, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. I then talked to Bill for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. I then watched a little tv. Around 14:26 hours the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I parked my car and got in 13-1 with Dohn and Carol and we headed to the scene. Sue grabbed the second unit and met us on scene. Bubba and Kim Stout were there prior to us. It ended up being two refusals. I then talked to Sue for a little bit and then we headed back out to Dohn's house. Once out there I picked up my car and headed back into the shed. Once there, Bill was there again. I logged my times in again and did my paperwork for the refusals. I then helped him put the sign up out front and then we talked for a little bit more. I then headed out to the fire house for bingo. After bingo was over, me, Bubba, Robbie, Andy and LeeAnn went down to the fire station to talk and to look at some equipment online. I left there around 22:55 hours and headed on home. I am now getting ready to watch Mythbuster and eat a snack and then I am going to bed.

Massage

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and woke up this morning around 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do a few quick things. I left the housr around 13:30 hours and headed into town. I ran up to Giant and picked up a DVD and then went down to the massage place on second street for my massage at 14:00 hours. My massage lasted for 1-1/2 hours. When I was done with my massage, I headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer to do some things. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. I then left the house around 20:30 hours and headed into town to get my hair cut. After I got my hair cut, I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating a snack. Sue and Kim are just now heading class 3 to an accident with fire in Halifax Township for a refusal. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Hazmat Awareness

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:00 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I don't even remember us getting out as I feel back to sleep. I was rocked out of bed again around 11:45 hours when the pager went off for a call at Community Medical Associates. Sue and Bill were on their way back and took the call. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. After that I got on the computer to do somethings. Around 15:30 hours the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough. Sue and Bill once again took that call. I then ate dinner while I was on the computer. I left the house around 17:30 hours and headed into town. I stopped at the fire house and picked up my gear and then continued on into Station 29 for the Hazmat Awareness training tonight. I got there and Amanda came in while we were waiting got the class to start. I sat with her, Sammy, Cody and another junior member for the class. The class was good, although most of it was stuff I already know how to do and when to do it. The class was over by 20:45 hours. I talked with Amanda for a little bit and then I left and headed on back. I stopped at Giant and picked up some things and then headed on home. I stopped at the fire house to drop my gear off. Dave and Andy were there when I pulled in. So after I took my gear into the station, I stood outside and talked with them for about 40 minutes. While we were outside, Amanda went by in the ambulance, headed to Wiconisco. They got cancelled around Eville. I left the fire house around 21:50 hours and headed on home. A New Champion

Around 12:50 hours last night my cell phone rang. I answered it and it showed that it was Amanda's cell phone. It was Steph drunk calling me, except at the time, I thought it was Sue. So after Steph hung up on my, I called Amanda's cell phone back. She assured me that everything was ok. I then went to bed around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then went out and read the paper. While I was reading the paper, Amanda called my cell phone to appolgize for last night. I told her that it was ok and that I did not mind. That was also when I found out that it was Steph and not Sue that called me last night. I then finished reading the paper. I then made and ate lunch while I setteled down to watch the last race of the 2006 NASCAR season. It was a good race from the Homestead-Miami track. Greg Biffle won the race and Jimmie Johnson won the 2006 Championship. I ate dinner while I watched the race. After the race was over, I took a shower and am now eating my snack. Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:00 hours or so when the pager went off for that MCI drill at the Halifax Borough Park this morning. I reset my pager and went back to bed. I then got up around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then read the paper. I then made and ate lunch while I sat down and watched the Penn State game. We played a good game, but were very sloppy at times. We beat Michigan State 17-13. I think we could have played a better game then what we did. I then went back to the office and watched the Michigan vs. Ohio State game. That was a very good game to watch. Ohio State won 42-39. While I was watching the game, Bill called and asked me if I wanted to play cards after the game was ove. I said that I would be up after the game was over. I left the house around 19:10 hours and stopped at the fire house. I picked up my gear and then headed up to Millersburg. I stopped and grabbed a soda and some chips and then went to the Casey's house. We played Phase 10 and then Uno. Me and Bill left there around 23:00 hours and headed on home. I stopped at the fire house and dropped my gear off and then continued on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Wild Goose Chase

Around 00:51 hours last night, Williamstown got dispatched for an accident with injuries off of Route 209 in the State Game Lands. At 00:57 my fire pager went off for our OIC to call county. Then at 01:24 hours my fire pager went off again, for all available personel to respond to the station for a search detail. I quickly got dressed, grabbed my shit and got in my car and headed to the fire house. I got up there and LeeAnn had just pulled in. We both went in the fire house. While I got my gear on, she started the Engine up. Adam and Bubba then came in and got there gear on. Bubba drove the Engine, I took the OIC's seat, and LeeAnn and Adam took the back seats. We picked Robbie up at the Mountain House, so I switched back to the back seat and Robbie took the OIC's seat. We searched Wolf Pond Road and Lykens Road and came up with nothing. Dave, Jean, and Matt came in the Utility. They checked Lykens Road also. We then met up on Powell's Valley Road with Brush 19 and QRS 6-3. Once we got there, I called Bill and told him what was going on and that I might need him to cover a few hours for me this morning, depending on how long we would be looking. Well Command 24 placed the box in service at 03:28 hours. We loaded back up in the Engine and followed Powell's Vallley Road out to Lykens. We then headed down to Eville and stopped at Shell and got fuel. We then headed back to the fire house. We dropped Robbie off at his truck and then continued to the fire house. I left the fire house at 04:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I crashed in bed around 05:00 hours. I got up this morning at 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ran up to the fire house to grab something, and then I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and watched TV. My mother got home around 16:00 hours and I helped her bring stuff in from her car. I then got on the computer and ate dinner while I was on the computer. CPR with Sue

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 09:45 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then got in my car and headed into town. I saw Bill pulling out from the station was I headed into town. He was heading home from a call. I went to Giant and got two jars of peanut butter and a gallon of iced tea. I then headed to the "Barn". Once at the barn I picked up the CPR equipment and then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then helped my mother bring Christmas stuff down from the attic. I then ate lunch while I watched some TV. I then got on the computer and did some things. I left here at 15:10 hours to head up to Williamstown. I stopped at Sue's dental office at Williamstown and went inside. She was not there, so I asked them when she would be back. They told me she was up at Curves today. They called her and they told me that I was supposed to head up to Curves. They joked around with me for a little bit before I left and headed up to Curves. I got up there and Sue let me in the back door and I set things up. Angie then showed up and then my father showed up. We had them look at the video and then gave them the written test. We then did the practical with them. I had a blast up there with Sue and Angie at Curves, plus we helped both of them out. Me and Sue left there around 18:40 hours and we both headed on home. I followed her the whole way from Curves till the shed, when I turned in to drop off the equipment. I then headed back out to the fire house. Once at the fire house Andy showed us the video. We then went down to the fire station. Andy then taped the doors coming up on the station, and then the apparatus pulling out, and then the apparatus backing into the station. Andy then set up his externial hard drive for me to download pictures of the local companies apparatus. I left there around 21:30 hours and headed on home. I got to Drive Home

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for a call in Millersburg. 20 got out and we were placed in service. I went back to bed and was once again rocked out of bed around 09:20 hours when the pager went off for a laceration in Millersburg. 20 got out again and we were placed in service. I went back to bed again to try and get a little more sleep. I was rocked out of bed again at 10:00 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to the scene. I got there and it was a 1 week old infant. It ended up being a refusal. As we were getting ready to leave the driveway, the pager went off for a CVA in Millersburg Borough at the Health Center. I told Dohn that I would take my car into the "Barn" and he could pick me up there. I followed Dohn to the shed, parked my car and then got in 13-1 and we continued on up to the health center. We got up there and Medic 6 was already there. We got the guy loaded up and ALS released to us and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, Dohn gave me the keys and let me drive the unit back. I think I did a really good job. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the two calls. I then left and went to Sheetz and got gas and then I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and am now getting ready to do somethings online and eat dinner. I have bingo at 18:45 hours tonight, so I probally will not be on later.

The Future is Trash

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning at 08:45 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. My mother then ran her car over to Heim's to have the oil changed. I followed her over, and then brought her back home. I dropped her off and then headed into town. I went to Rite Aid and dropped of two perscriptions and then went to Giant and picked up a few things. I went back over to Rite Aid and picked up one of my perscriptions. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and then I read the paper. I then got on the computer to do some things. I ran my mother back to Heim's around 16:20 hours and then came home. Once at home I ate dinner while I was on the computer. Bill then called the house. Here Dohn had Bill call me at the house. Anyway's, Dohn told me that I have been put on driver probation. Which means that I can start driving the ambulance home from the hospital, and also on some class 3 calls. I then left the house around 19:10 hours to head to the Reed Township meeting. I stopped at Rite Aid and picked up my other perscription and then headed to the township building. I got there and talked to Marge and had her sign some things. I then had the rest of the supervisiors sign paperwork during the meeting. My dad then stopped in late. The meeting was over at 21:30 hours and we both headed on home. Quiet Day Again

I fell asleep in my office chair last night while I was online. I wole up around 00:35 hours, logged off of the internet and then crashed in bed. I got up this morning at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed. Mom had taken Toby to the vets this morning and they had just got back about 5 minutes earlier. Come to find out that he has fluid in his lungs and the wall of his heart is thining. He is now on a heart medication and a water pill. I read the paper and then I ate lunch while I played on the PS2. I then got off around 17:30 hours to eat lunch and watch TV. I then took a shower at 19:00 hours. Ham Dinner

Went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this morning at 06:30 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate breakfast and read the comics. I left the house at 08:10 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and took the three pies in the hall and sat them down. Once again, the roof in the kitchen was leaking. Dave and Eric were on the roof, working on stretching another tarp over that section of the roof. I also found out that two breakers were tripping due to the water running down through the walls. Martha and LeeAnn were already there also. More people started showing up to help. We had our first group of people early again, around 10:40 hours. After they had just sat down, the kithcen help yelled that we had a fire in one of the ovens. It was a small grease fire on the tin foil in the bottom of the oven. After that whole event was over, the rest of the day went smoothly. We wrapped up around 13:50 hours, and we all sat down to eat ourselves. After we were done eating, we cleaned the hall up and reset the tables and chiars back to how there were for bingo this Wednesday night. We then sat around and talked for about a good hour and a half. I then left there and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then read the paper and watched the end of the race. Well Hello There

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this afternoon, around 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed. I then ate lunch and read the paper. Then me and my father sat down to watch the Penn State game. It was a great game. Too bad for Temple, but they really sucked. Too bad JoePa wasn't at the stadium to see the game first hand. We won 47-0. I made and ate dinner while the game was on. In the middle of the third quarter, around 17:30 hours, the pager went off for a fall victim in Millersburg Borough. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and pulled in behind Kim and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. It ended up being a public assist. We went available and headed back to the shed. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then headed on home. Once at home I finished watching the rest of the game. We then sat and watched a western movie. Around 19:05 hours, the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. I got my boots on and got in my car again and headed back into the shed. I had just turned onto Armstrong Valley Road, when we were cancelled. So I turned around and went back home. Once back at home, I sat down to continue watching the movie. Then around 21:22 hours, the pager went off for a fall victim in Halifax Township. I got my boots on once again and got back in my car and headed back into the shed. I got in there and got in 13-1 and then Carol showed up and off we went. We got there and Amanda, Alf, Kim, Matt, Matt, and his wife were there, along with Dohn. The guy had a compound fracture of his left ankle. After we got him loaded up, we took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped Tony off at Sheetz and then headed back to the shed. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate a snack and am getting ready to hit the sack as I am really tired.

A rematch against Millersburg

Went to bed lase night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 11:04 hours when the pager went off for a psychaitric problem in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn already had 13-1 pulled out. I parked my car and got in and off we went. We got there and got the kid loaded up and took him down to Herhsey Medical Center. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. While we were coming back, Steve Boyer from Medic 6 called me and asked if he could bring a check down for Dohn to sign, which I said was ok. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. Steve then showed up and he asked me if I could follow him down to the post office to help him carry some mail trays in that had Medic 6's subscriptions in them. I told him that I could do that and then I headed on down to the Post Office. After I was done there, I headed back to the shed to finish up my paperwork. I then headed towards home. I swung by the fire house when I saw that the Engine was sitting out. LeeAnn and Katine were cutting potatoes when I pulled in. I sat and talked with them and then Jess came up and we talked some. I left there around 15:50 hours and headed on home. Once at home I changed clothes and grabbed what I need for the county executive board meeting, and then headed back up to the fire house. I then helped them cut potatoes. After we were done, I helped them move tables around in the fire hall. I then left there around 18:20 hours to head down county. I stopped at McDonald's and grabbed a milk shake and then headed on down to Lower Swatara's Station. I got down there and talked with the guys before the meeting started. The meeting went good. We tossed around some ideas. We then had food afterwards and we talked some more. I left there around 20:30 hours and headed on home. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then read the paper. I just finished eating a light snack and am going to once again crash in bed as I am really tired.

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then read the paper. Sue called me around 11:00 hours and asked me if I wanted to cover for her tonight, since she was still not feeling the greatest. I told her that I really wanted to, but I already had plans for tonight to play cards. She told me that it was ok, and that she hoped that I had fun. I then ate lunch and watched an episode of Season Two of Emergency. After I was done with that, I got a few games together, my controller and memory card, and then left the house to head up to Millersburg. I stopped at the fire house and picked up my gear and then headed up to the Casey's house. When I got up there both Keith and Michelle were there. Michelle was getting ready to head back to work. Me and Keith played a game of college football. Sue then called me and asked me if I would go on for her at 02:00 hours, which I said that I could. I also told her that I could stay on until 16:00 hours today for her. I won the game when Keith forfeited in the fourth quarter. We then took a break and sat down to play Test Drive, Eve of Destruction. Michelle then came home and we ordered out for dinner. Me and Keith then went down and picked the subs and pizza up and brought them home. We ate dinner and then Michelle left to go to her Aunt's house. So the three of us played Uno Attack. After that we played Texas Hold 'Em. Michelle then came home and we set up to play another round of Texas Hold 'Em. House went out first and then I went out. So while Michelle and Bill played it out, me and Keith got back on the PS2. I left up there around 00:32 hours and headed on home. I stopped at the fire house and dropped my gear off and then headed on home. Once at home I took the trash out and then took a shower. I am getting ready to crash in bed as I am really tired.

New Jersey State Firemen's Convention next year, I think I might go

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 08:39 hours when the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Carol pulled in behind me. We both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up. Medic 6 released to BLS and we took the guy down to Community General Osteo Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. Bill and Dohn handeled a call for an unconscious person in Halifax Township, while we were on our way down to the hospital. I then headed on home. Once at home I grabbed the money to go into my savings account up here at Community Banks and then headed into the bank to deposit that money and to cash my check. After I was done at the bank, I ran over to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. I then left the house around 17:35 hours and headed up to the fire house to help with bingo tonight. I got up there and put the disk of pictures on the desk in the fire station and then went up to the hall. A few people were already there when I got there. I went into the kitchen and found that we forgot to put the buckets under the sections of the roof that leak, so there was water all over the floor. I mopped that up and then I started selling tickets. Robin and Jess then showed up. Bingo went good, there was a good amount of people there. After everyone left, we had a little fun. Today was Lonny's birthday, so Jess brought up 4 of those test tube drinks for Lonny. Jess put hers down the front of her pants and made Lonny drink it that way. We then sat around and talked about different things, and one of them was the New Jersey State Convention that they went to this year. I really think that I am going to make the trip down with them next year so I can have some fun and relax. We all then left and went out different ways. I am getting ready to go watch Mythbusters and then am going to hit the sack.

Quiet Day

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ran up to the township building to vote. That took all of 2 minutes and then I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then ate lunch and got on the computer to do some things. I went over to Bill's house around 15:40 hours to pick up a CD of pictures that he had burned for me. I then talked to him for a little bit and then headed on home. It was a quiet day today with no calls. it is unknown what the night will bring. Once at home I ate dinner while I was on the computer. I just finished taking a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I got on the computer to do some things. Around 14:30 hours, the fire pager went off to assist Company 29 on a vehicle fire in Halifax Borough. I already had my shoes and hat on (heard them dispatch 29 for the call). So I grabbed my keys and jumped in my car and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and slid to a stop and ran inside the fire house. Adam was right behind me. We both got out gear on and I put my jacket and helmet in the Engine. I then opened the bay door and we waited for someone to show up to drive. Dave and Jason showed up and they got in the Engine and we went responding. All we did was go around the block, as the box was held to Company 29 and we were placed in service. Once back at the fire house, Dave filled the report out and then I headed on home. Once at home I got back on the computer. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. I left around 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire house. I then got ahold of Sue, and she thought I was coming into training, so she had my fruit papers in there. I told her to leave them in the truck and I was on my way in to get them. Once at 29's station, I grabbed the papers out of her truck, left her a note and then headed back to our fire house. Once there, I went into the hall and crunched numbers. Sue then texted me with her orders and then I handed my papers in. Alltogether, I sold $780.00 worth of fruit. After the meeting was over, I headed down to the fire house and talked with Bubba, LeeAnn, Andy, Dave, Robbie and Holly. I left up there around 21:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

BINGO!!!

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then read the paper and ate lunch. After bingo was over, a bunch of us went down to the fire house with Bubba to talk about things. I left there around 19:20 hours and headed on home. Another Loss

I laid down in bed around 00:45 hours last night, and I fell asleep. I woke up around 02:20 hours when I heard the fire pager talking, because I forgot to close it when I laid down in bed. I closed the fire pager and closed the internet down, and then craweled back in bed and went back to sleep. I got up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into town. I went to Tab's and picked up the fruit paper I left in there last week. I talked to her for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper. I then made lunch and sat down and watched the Penn State Game. We did not perform well on the field. We ended up losing to Wisconsion, 13-3. Joe's left knee got hit by the helmet of a Wisconsion player at the start of the third quarter, and was eventually taken off the field and back to the locker room to have it looked at. Here is hoping that JoePa is doing good. After the game was over, I got on the computer to do somethings. I am hoping to hear from Sue tonight about the fruit papers from her. I am getting ready to eat dinner now. I am also getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on alte tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

The Days Keep Getting Busier

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours, and was rocked out of bed around 06:47 hours when the pager went off for an overdose in Halifax Borough. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and pulled in and parked and then went inside and got in 13-1. Dohn then showed up and he got in and off we went. We picked up Sue at the Post Office. She was coming along, because she thought she knew who the patient was. It turned out not to be who she thought it was, but she still decided to go down anyway, as an extra set of hands. We got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at sheetz and then dropped Sue off at her car. We then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and then sat down to do the paperwork from the call. I started doing my narrative, when the pager went off for breathing problems at SLV in Upper Paxton Township. Dohn picked me up at the station and we headed up there. After we got the lady loaded, we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While I was down there, I finally met Matt, Sue's friend. We talked for a little bit and then after we got what we needed, we headed on back. While we were down there, we got hit for a CVA in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. Bill and Carol took that call. We dropped the medic off at his squad and then went back to the station. Once there, I logged my time in and then finished the paperwork from my first call, and then did the paperwork from this call. After I was done, I headed on home. Once at home I sat down to read the paper. I got to read the front two sections, when around 13:30 horus, the pager went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough at the Diaylsis Center. I got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. After we got that lady loaded, we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. This time I got to talk to Steph. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at his squad again and then headed back to Dohn's house. Once there, I picked up my car and headed back into the shed. Bill was there when I got there. I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. Me and Bill then talked for a little bit and then we both headed on home. Busy Past Two Days

Oh boy, where do I start. I went to bed Tuesday night around 01:30 hours and was rocked out of bed at 05:43 hours when the pager went off for a headache in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Sue was just pulling in. I parked my car and her and me got in 13-2 and off we went. We got out to the scene and we cancelled Medic 6 and then got the guy loaded up and took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. While we were heading back. Sue missed the off ramp for Lewistown, so we got off at Progress Avenue and went down to Lingesltown Road, and then got on 322 from there. We stopped at Shell and got fuel and then went back to the shed. We talked the whole way home and then talked a little more at the shed, and then she left and headed on home. I then headed on home. Once at home I sat down and read the paper and ate breakfast. It was short lived as the pager went off for a CVA in Halifax Township. I got back in my car and headed back into the shed. I went the back was since they were doing construction, so I got to the shed before Carol did. We got in 13-2 and off we went. We got to the scene and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we head on back. We dropped Jim off at his squad and then went back to the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and then headed on home. Once at home I finished reading the paper and then got on the computer to do some things. I went to the kitchen around 12:50 hours to get something for lunch. I just got a glass out and put ice in it, when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Halifax Township. I got in my car and headed back into the station. I got there and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and called county and had them dispatch 29 for lift assist. We ended up taking the guy out through the bedroom window. After we got the guy loaded up we headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. While on the way back, we got hit for breathing problems at SLV. Dohn and Bill took that call, and we ran Jim up to the scene. He released to BLS, so we ran him back down to his squad. After we dropped him off, we headed back to the shed. We had just backed up and I had just gotten out of the unit, when the pager went off for a fall victim in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. We got back in 13-2 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded and took her down to Community General Osteo Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and Bill got my times for me. I then ran up to McDonald's and got something to eat for dinner. I then headed back to the shed and did my 4 tripsheets. After I was done with them, I headed on home. I stopped at the fire station to see if they were done with bingo yet. They were. They had just finished when I walked in the hall. So I helped them clean up and then me, Bubba, Robbie and LeeAnn went down to the fire station and Bubba showed us some apparatus on the computer. Then we stood around and talked. I left there around 23:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate a snack and then watched Mythbusters. I went to bed at 02:00 hours.

I got up this morning around 09:56 hours and went out and got a drink and sat down to watch the end of a show. I then went back to bed to try and get a little more sleep. I had just gotten comfortable, when the pager went off for diabetic problems in Millersburg Borough at the Health Center. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn" I got in there and 13-1 was gone, but we had been placed in service as 20 got out. So I headed on home. Once at home I started reading the paper. Around 11:55 hours the pager went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I got back in my car and headed for Dohn's house. I got there and parked and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her up to Pottsville General. After we got what we needed up there, we swung by KFC and I grabbed something to eat for lunch and then we headed on back. We dropped Jim off at his squad and then headed back to Dohn's house. Once there, I picked my car up and headed back into the shed. Once there, I logged my time in and then did my paperwork from the call. While I was doing my tripsheet, the pager went off for a fall victim in Millersburg Borough at the Polk Apartmetns. Dohn and Bill took that call as I went off at 15:00 hours. After I finished, I headed on home. Once at home I finished reading the paper and then changed into street clothes. I then took some trash out and grabbed a soda, when the fire pager went off for a tree down. I got in my car and headed up to the fire station. I got there and Robbie, Lyle and Jamie were all there. I asked Robbie if he wanted me to take the Utility, and he told me he didn't care. So I told him that someone would have to moce the Engine so I could get the Utility out. Lyle moved the Engine out and I went responding. I got on scene and we cut up the tree, moved it off the road and then swept the road off. We all then headed back to the fire station. I put the Utility away and then Robbie had Jamie put the Engine back in. I then ran back home, grabbed my stuff for EMA training, along with a pack of crackers and my soda and then headed on down to county for training tonight. Training was good and I left there around 21:15 hours and headed on home. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Happy Halloween

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours as I was tired. I got up this morning around 09:00 hours when my mother asked me to move my car so she could head to her doctor's appointment on the west shore. I moved my car and then came back inside and tried to go back to sleep, but I was wide awake. So I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then read the paper and watched some TV. I then made and ate lunch while I sat down and watched another episode of Season 2 of Emergency. My mother then came home around 12:30 hours. She told me that she is getting her operation on December 4th. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I then took a 15 minutes break, and then got back on to play another game of college football. I ate dinner while I played the second game. The second game I played, was for the 2005 National Championship and it was the Rose Bowl. I played Miami. I won 65-58. It was a hard fought game, and at times very nerve racking for me. I then went to the off-season, and did recruiting for the 2006 season. I then got off around 20:30 hours.
