A New Medic

Went to bed last night at 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed around 11:17 hours when the pager went off for back pains in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom, weighed myself and I stayed the same. I then got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Carol was already there and had the unit pulled out. I parked my car and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. As we were getting on 22/322, county dispatched heart problems in Halifax Township. Bill and Dohn took that call, and we decided to stop by and help them get the guy loaded into the ambulance. We then stopped at Sheetz and I grabbed something to eat for lunch. We then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. I then headed on home once I was done. Once at home I read the paper and then got on the computer and played "The Sims" until about 16:30 hours. I then got off and started to make dinner. Bubba then called me and asked me if I could come up to the hall then, he wanted to ask me a few questions. I told him I would be up after I was done eating dinner. So I then ate dinner and watched a little bit of MASH on TV. I then left here around 17:20 hours and headed up to the hall. I talked to Bubba and Robby about a few things and then we bullshited. I left there around 18:00 hours as Bubba and Alf were having a meeting in the fire house. Once at home I watched the second hour of MASH and then took a shower at 19:00 hours. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Re-packing all the Hose

After I finished watching Patton last night, I watched Tora, Tora, Tora! until 03:00 hours. I then went to bed at 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed at 011:30 hours when the pager went off for an accident with ejection in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and parked my car and got in 13-1 and off we went. It ended up not being ejection, but the guy just crawled out of the vehicle. The guy told us and PSP that while his car was heading towards the telephone pole, he was trying to take his seat belt off because he was going to jump before his car struck the telephone pole. Luckily he did not suceeded in his stupid venture. We got the guy loaded up and took him down tto Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. I swung by Rite Aid and dropped off two perscriptions and then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the accident. I typed 773 words in the narrative of the tripsheet. I then sent a text to Sue, Amanda, Kim, Alf, and Bill telling them that. I then ran up to Rite Aid and picked up my medication, then ran to Giant and picked up a few thigns and then ran to McDonald's and picked up lunch and then headed on home. Once at home I filled the bird feeders up and then ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the computer and played "The Sims" while I talked to Bill and watched TV. I then ate a few oatmeal cookies and then watched MASH on TV. Around 18:30 hours the fire pager went off for a work detail at the fire house. I quickly did a few things on the computer and then headed up to the fire house. I got up there and Dave, Jason, LeeAnn, Lonny and Holly were there. I went inside and we got to work putting the 2-1/2", 5" and blitz line in the hose bed. We then put two crosslays back on the engine. Overall it took us I would say close to 2-1/2 hours. Bill then showed up and brought me a Sprite. I then headed on home around 21:25 hours. Once at home I took a shower and then watched All My Children with my mother. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Some More Snow

Around 00:18 hours last night the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there before Carol and went inside and got into 13-1 and waited for her to show up. She got there and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and the lady was just constipated. We got her loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got fuel and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. I then ran up to Sheetz and got gas and then stopped at Shell and got 5 more peanut butter easter eggs. I then headed on home. Once at home I did a few things online and then laid in bed and watched Celebreaty Deathmatch until 04:00 hours. I then went to bed and got up this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower and then changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got setteled in to watch the race from California Speedway. The race was good, with Matt Kenseth winning. Jeff came in 2nd and Jimmie came in 3rd. I ate dinner while I watched the race. I am now watching Patton on TV in my room and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Finally a TV in my Room

Went to bed last night at 02:00 hours and got up at 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. My father then got back from teaching CPR class. I then filled the bird feeders up and then I helped him install his wireless adaptor for DSL on his computer. After we were done doing that, we got to work on re routing the cable from the basement up to my room. We used to have a TV in the basement, oh about 15 years ago, so we had an extra cable down there that was not being used. We figured out where I wanted the cable to come up through the floor and into my room. We then drilled the hole out and threaded the cable up through the floor and connected it to the TV. So I now have a TV in my room to watch while I work on the computer. I then played "The Sims" on the computer and just got done playing about 20 minutes ago. I have been watching the Back to the Future marathon on ABC Family Channel. I then ate dinner while I played my game on the computer. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surfing the net. Show me your Junk

Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning at 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then read the paper. I then got on the computer to play a game and ate lunch. I then got off to watch All My Children. I then got back on the computer to post a few things. I then talked to Bill on and off while I played a game on the computer. I then got off at 16:30 hours and made dinner and then watched MASH on TV. Sue then called my cell phone shortly before 18:00 hours and we talked for a little bit. Bill then called and said we were meeting Amanda at the shed for cards. I then changed clothes at 18:00 hours and then left the house at 18:30 hours and headed into town. I ran up to Giant and got Bill a 2 liter of Root Beer, Amanda a half gallon of Turkey Hill Diet Decaffinated Iced Tea, and myself a 20 ounce bottle of Pepsi. I then stopped at the Beer store and found no 6 pack, so I went down to The Nook. I parked in the Post Office parking lot and then went inside and got a 6 pack of Coors Light. I then headed to the "Barn". I put the stuff in the fridge and then went back to the office to talk with Amanda until Bill got there. Once Bill got there we went into the meeting room and sat down to eat. Alf then swung by on his way home and talked for a little bit. When he left, Sue pulled in. She decided to come out to socialize with us. Alf then came back and then Kim showed up with the kids. Scott then showed up also. I had one hell of a night in there and really enjoyed myself. I had 3 Coors Lights and then stopped and finished off with my Pepsi. We all left there around 22:40 hours and went our seperate ways. I stopped at the fire house and put the other half of my 6 pack in the fridge at the fire house. I then headed on home. Second one in two Days

Went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed at 08:07 hours when the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Jackson Township. I got out of bed to start getting dressed and the fire pager went off. I finished getting dressed and then Carol called. I told her that I was heading to the scene and hung up. I then got in my car and headed to the scene. I heard Bubba go responding on the fire pager. Scott also went responding to the scene. Half way to the scene, county advised that the doctor on the scene had stopped CPR and was calling a signal 12. I turned my blue light off and continued to the scene. I got to Dividing Ridge Road and met Kim coming from the other direction. I ended up going past the house by mistake, thinking it was at the upper end of Dividing Ridge. I only realized my mistake when I saw Scott coming in the other direction. I turned around and headed back to the house. I parked in the driveway behind Scott. When I got out of the car, I noticed that part of the driveway was ice covered, and it happened to be right where I parked. Scott told Dohn that he did not have to bring the ambulance out to the scene since there was 3 of us there and we would be ok. We stayed and waited for Hoover's to show up. Once Hoover's showed up, we helped the guy load the body in to the van and then we all left. I ran into the "Barn" and logged my time in and then pulled the times up for Kim and then put the tripsheet in her bin. I then ran up to Sheetz and got gas and grabbed something to eat for breakfast. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and then read the paper. Sue then called me and we talked for about a half an hour. I then finished reading the paper and then got on the computer and played a computer game. I then got off an ate lunch while I watched All My Children. I then got back on the computer to do a few things. My mother then got home and I helped her bring stuff in from her car. I then brought in the TV I got from my grandprents. It's a small TV, but it is for in my bedroom. I have it sitting on top of my filing cabinet. I am just now waiting for my father to run the cable up from the basement into my room so I can hook it up to the TV. I then got back on the computer. Bubba then called and said that the Engine and Tanker were back. So I then ran up to the fire house at 16:30 hours. Once up there I got a look at the Engine and it looks nice. If you had never seen the Engine before, you would not be able to tell that we had anything done to it. I then headed on home around 17:50 hours. Once at home I made and ate lunch while I watched MASH on TV. I then got back on the computer. Sue then called me as she was coming into Lykens and we talked for close to an hour while she drove home and then some more once she was in the house. I had covered for her until she got hom from curves. Once I got off the phone with Sue, I took a shower. I then got back on the computer and then around 21:09 hours the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Halifax Township at the Top of Peters Mountain. I got out of my PJ's and threw on some clothes and then got in my car and started towards the mountain. I got to the top of the mountain and Scott was there with 13-1, Sue and Aamanda were there, also Tim from Company 29, Charlie Bisking, and PSP. I pulled in and parked beside Tim and we basically stood around and talked while we tried to figure out what was going on. We ended up not finding anything and everyone slowly left, leaving only me, Sue, Amanda and Tim at the top. We talked for about another 10 minutes and then we all left. I followed Sue and Amanda to the traffic light and then they turned to go to Station 29 and I went straight to head home. Another Website

Got up this morning at 08:30 hours and got changed into street clothes. My mother then ran her van out to Heim's and I followed so I could bring her home. I then brought her home and then ate breakfast and read the paper. I then headed up to the township building at 10:00 hours to talk to Charlie about the website. I was there for about an hour and then headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer and played a game until 13:00 hours. I then ate lunch while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things and work on the township website. I then got off at 17:00 hours and watched MASH on TV. I then headed up to the fire house at 15:30 hours. Once there I went inside the hall and got things set up. LeeAnn then went down to the station to print off some bingo sheets. I went down also and grabbed a Mike's Hard Lemondae and had one of them before I went back up. We then had bingo tonight, first time in 2 weeks. I talked to Jess most of the night. After bingo was over and mostly everyone left, me, LeeAnn and Lonny sat in the hall and talked. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to soon get off to watch Mythbusters on TV.

DSL Baby!

Went to bed last night at 02:50 hours and got up this morning at 09:30 hours when my alarm went off. I called Sue's cell phone and she did not answer. I then called her home and she answered and she said that she was not going to make it in due to the fact that she did not get home until a quarter of 7 this morning. She said that she would call me when she got up. So I got up and then got dressed and then grabbed a pack of crackers and then headed into town. I ran to the bank first and cashed my check. I then went back to the "Barn". I got there and played cards on the computer until people started to slowly show up. Dohn showed up first, then Alf and Kim, then Carol, Bill and then Scott was last. Keystone then showed up with the new power stretcher and we took a look at them. They are really nice and work great. I then did a few things in there and then left and headed on home. I called Sue on my way home and she said that she was just getting ready to call me. We talked the whole way home and then some while I sat in the driveway. I then went inside and ate lunch while I watched All My Children. I then read the paper and then got on the computer to do a few things. Amanda then called me and asked me if I would be interested in her job since she would be quiting in 2 weeks. I told her to let them know that I was interested. Father then came home and once he was home we installed the DSL on my computer. Man is this shit great. I don't know how I lived without it before. I then ate dinner and stayed on until 19:00 hours for Sue tonight. Amanda then called me back a second time and told me that they wanted to see me down there tomorrow if I wanted the job. I told her to tell them that I would get in touch with them if I am interested. I then called Sue and talked to her to see if she was home yet. I then told her that I would see her in at the shed. I then changed into street clothes and then headed into the shed. I got there and played cards on the computer again until Sue, Amanda and Alf all showed up. The 4 of us then sat in the office and talked until Tuesday Supper Club was done in the bays. Sue asked me to give her another back massage, which I did. We then backed both units in and then me and Alf took them over the new stretchers and how they worked. We then went back in the officer and talked a little bit more. I then gave Amanda a quick back massage before she left. We all then left. I headed in tow and got a hair cut and then headed on home. Computer up and Running Again

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning at 07:30 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast while I read the paper. After I was done reading the paper, I shut my computer down and then unhooked all of the cables and dusted the tower off. While I was doing that, I noticed that my tower already had a ehternet card in it, so I would not be needing one from NAS. I then put my tower in my car and then headed to NAS. I got there and Tim had gone on an emergency call. So I sat and talked with the lady that works there until Tim got back. It took Tim about 30 minutes to put my new CD-ROM drive in my computer. After I was done there, I ran up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. I stopped at the fire house when I saw Robby's truck parked outside of it. I was there until 11:30 hours and then headed on home. Once at home I found out that my parents had to run back down to Lowe's to get some parts they needed for the water softner. I got my computer hooked back up and then decided to play a game on the computer, something that I had not been able to do for a few months, basically since my old CR-ROM crapped out on me. I then ate lunch while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got back on the computer until my parents got home. I helped them get some things in and then me and my mother ran up to Eville to get some bird seed and then came back home. Once at home I once again got back on the computer to play a little bit more. I then got off at 16:40 hours and headed up to the fire house to wash the Utility. LeeAnn was there when I got there. I then had a Coors Light as my way of celebrating Amanda and Sue's achivement. I then washed the Utility. Robby then came back and the three of us sat and talked after I was done washing the Utility. Bill then showed up and then people started showing up. We then had the meeting and after the meeting most of us went down to the fire house to bull shit. I left there at 22:30 hours and headed in to Shell to pick up some peanut butter easter eggs. I then headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. What a Finish to the Race

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning at 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. My parents then got hom from Lowe's. I helped my father bring in the new water softner and take it down to the basement. I then ate lunch and read the paper while we watched all the pre-race stuff on TV. The race started at 15:30 hours and boy what a race it was. There were no bigs wrecks until there was 25 laps to go. After the half way point, Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart wrecked and took each other out while they were fighting for the lead. Mark Martin was in the lead when they had a 5 car wreck with 5 laps to go. The race ended up being red flaged for 11 minutes until the track could be cleaned up. The race restarted and it looked like Mark was going to finally win, when Kevin Harvick charged up on the outside and stole the win from Mark. Meanwhile behind them, the big one finally happened. I would say about 10 to 15 cars were involved, with Clint Boyer crossing the finish line on his roof and on fire. It was a great finish to a great race. I then took a shower and then decided to take my car out for a little test drive since I had been having a vibration in my right front the past few days. Now last night I pulled a few chucks of ice out from the wheel and I wanted to see if that had helped at all. So I drove into the "Barn" and back and the vibration was gone. So on my way back I stopped at the fire house to see if the Engine was back yet, and it is not. I also checked to see if we had water in the fire house yet, and we do. So sometime tomorrow I will probally go up and wash the Utility. I then came home and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Red Heeled Boots

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got out of bed this morning at 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and then read the paper. I then watched the BUSCH race from Daytona on TV and talked to Bill for a little bit. I then got on the computer around 16:00 hours. About 10 minutes later, Sue called the house and we talked for about 20 minutes and then at 16:40 hours the pager went off for seizures in Halifax Borough. I told Sue that I would talk to her later and hung up. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn and Deana were already there. I pulled in and parked and then got in 13-2 and off we went. It ended up being a refusal. We then went back to the shed and Amanda was there working on her tripsheet. Deana left and Dohn said he would do the tripsheet, filled out his information and the left also. I logged my time in and then talked to Amanda. She asked me to type her narrative for her since I type faster then she does. So I typed her narrative while she told me what to type. I also saw that she had her red heeled boots on. I lifted her jean leg up to get a good look at the boots. Man they are nice looking. Amanda also looked nice, dressed in jeans, a pin stripe blouse and the red heeled boots. Alf then stopped in and the three of us talked. I then gave Amanda a hug and the three of us all headed to our respected homes. Once at home I made and ate dinner while I got on the computer to do a few things and talk to Sue and Bill. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Morning Accident

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and I got out of bed around I believe it was 08:30 hours and went to the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom I heard the EMS pager talking. We had be dispatched to go to Wiconisco in place of Medic 6. Kim Stout called my cell phone and told me that us and 24 were the only ones left in the Upper County. So I got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". As I passed Fetterhoff's Church, 961 went responding and we were cancelled. I decided to continue into the shed to see if Dohn had gotten out of bed for the call or not. I got into the shed and his truck was not there. So I pulled around front and sat for a few minutes until my car warmed up and then I left to head home. I got as far as the stop sign when the pager went off for an accident with entrapment in Reed Township on South River Road. I turned around and parked and then pulled 13-2 out and then waited to Dohn to show up. He showed up about 5 minutes later and once he got in off we went. We got there and Engine 29-1, Perry Rescue 2, and Perry Ambulance 29-1 were all on scene before us. It was two cars headon. We ended up flying the lady from the car, Life Team took the guy from the truck to Harrisburg and there other unit took the lady's three kids to Hershey. We ended up taking a firefighter from Company 29 that had been injured during the extrication of the lady from the car. We took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We stopped and got fuel at Shell and then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then headed on over to NAS. I talked to the lady there and my computer is going up Monday morning to have some work done to it. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. I then watched All My Children and then Dr. Phil as I had a cat on my lap and could not get up. I then made dinner and then ate it while I watched MASH on TV. I then took a shower and 19:00 hours. I then got on the computer. Then at 20:14 hours the pager went off for abdominal pains in Halifax Borough. I decided to get my shoes on and headed into town since Sue and Amanda were on incase they needed any help. Just as I got to the station, Amanda called my cell phone and said that they were going to be ok since Alf was with them and the girl was walking out to the unit. So I went back to the station and did the tripsheet from the accident this morning. After I was done I headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Firemen's Funeral

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read a little bit of the paper. I then called Bubb at 12:00 hours to see if he had made a decision regarding the Utility. He said that we could take it down. So I then got changed into my uniform and me and my father headed up to the fire house. Bubba was there when we got there. We went inside and we put our gear in the back of the Utility and talked to Bubba for a little bit and then headed on our way down to Camp Hill. We got down there around 13:45 hours and parked with the rest of the apparatus. We then met Larry Cook and went inside the church. We signed the book and then viewed Hap's body. I then ran back outside to clear the wind shield of the Utility off. I then went back inside. A few more people from th County Association showed up and we talked to them. We then had the church service and got out of there around 16:30 hours. They sat all of the firefighters together during the service and then afterwards they sent us all outside to stand at attention while Hap was brought out to the hearse. We then all got in our trucks and the apparatus brought up the rear of the funeral prossesion. It took us about an hour to go from the church in Camp Hill to the cemetary in Oberlin. I bet we pissed a lot of motorist off, due to police had a lot of intersections blocked off and they even had traffic stopped on 11/15. When we got over to the cemetary, we were able to get in the cemetary, but not that far. I do not believe that all of the apparatus was able to get into the cemetary. We then walked over to the grave site. Life Lion then did a fly over and a short 10 minute service followed. We then decided go to Lower Swatara's station for the recepition afterwards as traffic was a mess. We had something to eat there and left around 19:15 hours and headed on home. We stopped at Shell to get fuel as we really needed it. After we got fuel we headed back to the station. We got back there around 20:20 hours. We got out gear out and then headed on home. Once at home I called Carol and thanker her for covering for me and then called Sue and told her I was back on. She then said that she was going into the "Barn" to do her tripsheet from the call last night and she wanted to know if I wanted to come in. Of course I said yed. I then changed into my uniform and headed into the shed. I got there at the same time as Bill did. We went inside the office and waited for Sue to show up. She got there and we started talking. Bill then gave me a small valentine's gift. He also gave a gift and card to Sue. I kind of felt bad for not getting them something. I then went out to the kitchen to get a soda and I noticed that everything in the fridge was warm. I looked at the temperature and it said it was 78 in the fridge. I told Bill that he should call Viv and let her know. So he called her and then went out to the kitchen to take a look at the fridge while he talked to Viv. He ended up throwing everything out except for the soda's. While he was doing that, I decided to give Sue a back massage as my valentine's gift. I gave her I would say almost an hour long massage. Alf and Kim then stopped in and the five of us talked. The whole time that Sue was doing her tripsheet, talking to Alf and Kim, and then after her tripsheet, when she was talking to Carol and Kim on the phone, I was giving her a back massage. She really enjoyed it as it made her feel more relaxed. She said that she will have to take me up on a back massage more often as that really helped her back and she said that she would probally sleep better tonight. We all then left and headed our seperate ways. I went down to the post office and mailed a few letters for Sue and then went to Giant and picked up a few things. I then headed on home. Sue then called me on my cell phone and said that she was heading over to Steve's awhile for the night. She was going off at midnight so that she could be there at 04:00 hours to watch the kids while Steve ran Lori down to Hershey Hospital to have her tubes tied. So I told her I would talk to her later and then took the food inside. I then took the trash out and finished reading the paper. I am going to crash in bed as I am tired.

Happy Love Day

Sue called the house last night around 01:20 hours and we talked for almost one hour. I then went to bed at 02:30 hours after I got off the phone with her. At 04:15 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then Sue called my cell phone to make sure I was up and moving around and to be careful driving in. I told her that I would be careful and told her the same thing. I then went outside and started my car up and started cleaning it off. I then got inside and started into the "Barn". None of the roads had been plowed and I was unsure if I was even going to make it in to the shed, but I took my time driving and the only hitch I ran into was on Enders Road by Cliff's old house. I started slowing down and actually stopped on the road. I stompped on the gas and kept on it and slow and surely I started moving again and got up to the stop sign. Once I got on Armstrong Valley Road, the road was a little better then the back roads were. I then got into the shed and parked over in front of the flag pole. I got out and noticed that Sue was stuck in the driveway to the shed. I told her to aim her cars towards the back of mine and then I went to the back of her car and started pushing. After a pushing for a minute or two, we got her car off of the road and out of the way that both ambulance would be able to get out. We then went inside and got in 13-1 and off we went. We took our time going to the scene. We were kind of hoping that the lady would refuse due to the road conditions, but alas she didn't. So once we got the lady loaded up we started on our way down to Harrisburg Hospital. We took our time going down to the hospital as none of the roads had been plowed, including the interstate and the on and exit ramps, hell even the entrance to the hospital was not plowed. It took us one hour and 19 minutes to get down to the hospital. While we were heading down, the pager went off for a child birth in Halifax Borough. Kim Stout, Dohn and Carol took that call. After we got what we needed, we started the trek back up home. None of the streets in the city had been plowed, and if they were, it was only one lane. We stopped at McDonald's and we both got something to eat and drink and then started back on our way. We once again took our time going home as the roads were somewhat better, but still not the greatest. Amanda called Sue's cell phone and Sue had me answer it since she was driving. We had a three way conversation on the cell phone. Found out that both Amanda and Bob had to go to work today, even though the roads were terrible. We passed Amanda and Bob at the Clarks Ferry Bride. We decided to go avaialble in deep hollow incase we got another call. As we were coming up on Station 29, we saw alf's car sitting in the parking lot, and Sue decided to stop in and shot the shit for a little bit. Well we ended up getting stuck in the parking lot. I went inside and got Matt and Danner to come out. Danner got the unit unstuck and turned around. Me and Sue then got back in the unit and we slowly inched out way back out to the main road. Now Amanda had called my cell phone before we passed them and told me to tell Sue that the township plow went through her devlopment and had plowed shut the end of their driveway and she would not be able to get up in it. I told Sue that I could help shovel the end of her driveway. So we headed over there and Danner and Matt followed. Well we got up past the end of her driveway and then the unit got a little stuck. Danner plowed the end of her driveway. While he was doing that I decided to check to see if the air compressor for the on-spots had been turned on. Of course it had not. So I turned it on and then the chains started working and we were able to get moving again. While we were leaving her place, Bob, her husband called her cell phone and I answered. I talked to him for a few minutes and then hung up. We then headed back to the shed. We got there and when Sue tried to back 13-1 in, first she got to close to the curb and we had a hell of a time getting out again on the road way. She then tried to back it in again and was making good progress when the unit once again got stuck in the snow. By this point her nerves were so shot that she said fuck it. I told her that I would try and get it backed in. I got it back more but I then got stuck. I then told her to call Scott and have him come out and plow the lot so we could get the units back in and get our cars out. She tried his cell phone and he did not answer so I then called his house and talked to him and he said that he would be out. Meanwhile Sue went back to finish her tripsheet from Tuesday night. I went to the maintenacne room and grabbed a shovel and started moving some snow behind 13-1 so I could get it backed in. I then got it moving again and kept at it and finally got in backed in. 13-2 then got back and they had some trouble backing in, but I didn't care. Scott then showed up with his ATV and started plowing the parking lot. Sue then left and I went outside cause I knew she was going to need pushed to get out of the parking lot. So she started her car up and got it cleaned off. I also got mine started and cleaned it off. While she was cleaning her wind shield off, she thought she broke her driver's side wind shield wiper. I took a look at it and it had just come unsnapped and I was able to put ot back on. When she was ready to leave, me and Scott started pushing her backwards until she could not go back any further. Scott then plowed in front of her car and we pushed her foward and then he plowed behind her and then I gave her a push backwards and she was able to get out and left. I then moved my car so Scott could plow the rest of the parking lot. I then logged my time in and did the paperwork from the call while Scott continued to plow. I then left and headed up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. The streets out my way were plowed, but they plowed closer to the other side of my street, like the usually do. So we had 3 to 4 feet of snow in front of our driveway. I tried backing in but got stuck and was able to get unstuck. I then decided to pull into the driveway and was able to just get the car off of the road and decided to leave it there. I then found out that we were having some problems getting the snow blower to work. After we played around with it for about an hour, dad finally realized that he did not have enough gas in the gas tank. We got the driveway cleared off and I had also called Danner to come out and do the end of our driveway as the snow blower was not able to get through it. He came around 16:30 hours and plowed the end of the driveway for us. After we finished clearing the driveway off, me and my father ran up to the township building to pick something up and then came back home. I then ate lunch and read the paper and watched some TV. I then fell asleep on the love seat and woke back up at 19:00 hours. I then made and ate dinner while I got on the computer to do some things. I then took a shower and am now going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be getting off soon to go watch Mythbusters on TV and will not be back online.

The Snow is Here

Went to bed last night at 03:30 hours and got out of bed this morning ar 09:30 hours to go to the bathroom. When I was in the bathroom, I noticed that it was snowing outside. I then weighed myself and I lost 4 pounds. I then went back over to the bedroom and laid down in bed to go to sleep. That was when I heard my cell phone beeping. It was a text from Sue. She asked me if I was still sleeping in bed, and if I would be available if we had a second call today. She also told me to call her when I got up cause her office had been closed. I then fell back to sleep and got up at 11:55 hours. I got out of bed and called Sue and she told me that Alf and Kim were there doing there schedules and that she would call me back. I then got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. Sue then called at 12:50 hours and we talked for an hour about different things. I then got off with here and talked with Bill for a few minutes. I then went outside and shoevled some snow off of the driveway. After I came back inside, I got on the computer to do a few things. I then got off at 16:50 hours to make dinner. Once I made dinner, I sat down and ate it while I watched MASH on TV. Then at 17:50 hours, the pager went off for a traumatic injuiry in Halifax Township on Gali Road. I knew Sue would be going to the scene for this one since it was near her house. Then at 18:00 hours the pager went off for a fall victim in Halifax Borough. Carol call my cell phone and I told her that I was not avaialble. She told me that she was and that I should try Susie since I was dispatching tonight. I called her and she said that she was not available but they would head to the scene. Well of course they could not find it and ended up going home. I then called Scott and asked him if he was available to go on the second call and he said no. I then called Sue and she said that she was able to break away from the first call soon to respond to the second one. Scott then called me and said that he was taking Sue to the scene. Carol then brought the ambulance to the scene and everything was then taken care of. I then finished watching MASH and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. The Threat of Snow

Went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and got out of bed this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch while I read the paper and watched TV. I then filled the bird feeders up and called Charlie from the township and talked to him about the website. He wants to sit down with me next week and talk about it. I then sat down to watch Dr. Phil on TV. Around 15:14 hours the pager went off for a train fire in Halifax Borough by the VFW. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Dohn was already there. I parked my car and got in 13-2 and off we went. We were then told that it was now 2 miles south of Rise Street. So we decided to stage at the sewer plant. It ended up just being a stuck brake on one of the cars and we were released within a half an hour. We headed back to the shed and once there I logged my time in and then did the report on the fire. Bill then stopped in and we talked for a little bit. I then headed on home. I stopped by Bubba's place as I saw Robin sitting in her van. I went over and talked to her about bingo Wednesday night and also about Saturday night. I then went to leave and saw Robby's truck park outside the fire house. So I parked my car again and went inside and talked to him until 17:20 hours. I then headed on home. Once at home I made and ate dinner while I watched MASH. Amanda then called me at about 10 minutes before 18:00 and asked me if I could stay on until she got home cause she was sitting in traffic and did not know if she would make it home in time. I said that I could. I then watched the second hour of MASH and Amanda called at 18:13 hours and said that she was home and thanked me. I then changed into street clothes and finished watching the rest of MASH. I then took a shower and then called down to Jerry from the County Firemen's Association to see if he heard anything about Hap's funeral being postponed. I talked to his wife Sue and she said that as far as they knew, as of now it was still on. I then had a snack and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. One Hell of a Night

Went to bed Friday night at 02:30 hours and got out of bed at 06:00 hours when my alarm went off. I turned my alarm off and made the mistake of laying back down in bed. Naturally I fell asleep and woke back up at 07:03 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes, grabbed two packs of crackers and headed up to the fire house. I got there and parked and went in the fire station. I then grabbed the key to the hall and headed up to the hall. Bill had pulled up and we both went into the fire hall. I went inside and went to the bathroom. I then ran the key back down to the station and went back up to the hall. Me and Bill sat there and talked for a little bit. Dave and Holly then showed up. Dave took seom of the bread racks back to the fridge and he started loading subs onto them. I carried them out and put them on the counter. Lonny then came next, followed by Robby, Bubba and then LeeAnn. Dave sorted the money out and we figured out who was going with who. Me and Bill went together, Lonny and LeeAnn, Dave and Holly, and Bubba and Robby. We all loaded the subs up and went to our assigned routes. Me and Bill first ran out to Alf's house and dropped off their 5 subs. We then hit the lower devlopment of my neighboorhood. Bubba and Robby did my devlopment. After we finished the lower devlopment, we did Enders. We only sold 14 subs in Enders. Meanwhile, Kim Stout had been busy calling a few friends and was able to sell some subs for us. Her neighboor bought 4 of them, and Jeff Enders bought 2. Megan Tracey bought 5 and then me and Bill hit up Scott and he bought our last 2 subs. We then headed back to the fire hall. We got there and Bubba, Robby, LeeAnn and Lonny were already back. Dave and Holly then showed up a couple of minutes after me and Bill had gotten there. Dave then counted the money up. Bruce then stopped in to talk. Bill, Dave and Holly then left and the rest of us headed down to the fire station to unload all the hose from the hose bed of the Engine. After that we stood around and talked. Bruce, Lonny and Bubba all then left and then me, LeeAnn and Robby talked. LeeAnn then left with Candy and then I headed on home around 14:00 hours. Once at home I ate half of my other sub while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I then left the house after a small argument with my parents and headed up to the fire house for Jess's 25th birthday party. I got up there and parked my car and went in the fire house, grabbed a Coors Light out of the fridge and started my night off with a beer to clam me down. I went inside the hall and there were a few people there. Bill, Whitey, Troy, LeeAnn, Robin and Helen were all there. People slowly started coming in then as time went on. Robin had tons of food and I had two hot dogs and I nibbeled on ring balonga and cheese during the night. They also had a sheet cake for Jess. Troy was the DJ for the night and what a night it was. I got a ton of great pictures. I set a midnight deadline for my alcohol intake. I stopped at 23:45 hours. By that time I had 9 Coors Lights, 2 shots of Aftershock, 1 shot of Hot Damn and a Yager Bomb. After the Yager Bomb, I started on my 8th Coors Light. It was at that time that I decided to drunk call a few people. I first called Amanda and talked to her. I then called Sue but she did not pick up her cell phone, so I called Amanda back. Amanda talked to me for a little bit and then handed her phone off to Sue. I talked to Sue for a little bit and then she gave me back to Amanda. Amanda then told me that if I could not drive home to call her and she would come pick me up. I told her thanks and then hung up and called Alf and talked to him for a little bit. I then went back inside and finished my 8th Coors and started on my 9th and last one. I had one hell of a time. Jess's blew the candles out on her cake and then cut it. I danced with Jess twice during the night. I also drank a few shots with her, and got a nice long hug from her after she opened my card and gift. She also gave me her new cell phone number. Overall I had one hell of a night and look foward to the next time we can do that again. Me, Jess, Bubba, LeeAnn and Lyle all left at the same time as we were the last ones to leave. I headed on home and got home at 03:41 hours. I came inside and crashed in bed. About an hour later I woke up in bed coughing and did not feel to great. So I went over to the bathroom and quietly vomited and then went back to bed. I woke up this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower and then I ran Bill's camera back over to him. I talked to him for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I ate the other half of my sub and then read the paper and then watched the rest of qualifing from Daytona. I then ate dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Cards

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed at 07:30 hours I believe it was when the pager went off for a CVA in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and parked and then went inside and got in 13-2. Dohn showed up and he got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. After I was done I went to Sheetz and got gas. Bill called me and said that him and his mother pased me while I was waiting to pull out at the shed. He said thay they were on their way downtown to go to his doctor's appointment. I passed them when they turned into Giant. I then got gas at Sheetz and when I was pulling out, they pulled in Sheetz. I then headed on home. I stopped at the fire house when I saw Bubba there. We talked for about 1 hour and then he left to take subs up to Swab's and I headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate my one sub while I watched All My Children. I then kind of sat out in the living room and talked with my mother. I then watched MASH on TV. Bill then called me and said that him and Amanda were going into the shed at 19:00 hours to play some cards and he wanted to know if I was interested. I told him that I was and that I would be in. I then took a shower at 18:00 hours and then watched the rest of MASH. I then did a few quick things on the computer and then headed into the shed. I got there and Amanda and Bill were already there. I went in the office and Bill and Amanda were talking about playing. Amanda said she did not mind if me and Bill went out to Alf's to play poker. We finally decided to go out to Alf's and play. I told Bill I would be there after I grabbed something at the fire house. So I quickly ran out to the fire house and picked up a Coors Light from the fridge and headed back to Alf's. I got there and went inside and we played Poker until 22:00 hours. I left and ran into Shell and picked up to peanut butter easter eggs and then headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old emai land surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Sue has Glasses

Went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 03:40 hours when the pager went off for a Pshycatric Pt. at the Red Rose Motel in Halifax Township. I was not on so I laid in bed. Kathy then called my cell phone and asked me if I could go on a call. I was half asleep at the time so I said yes. So I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Dohn already had the unit pulled out. I parked my car and got in and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed, I logged my time in and then did the tripsheet from the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I decided to read the paper while I was up. After I was done reading the paper I went back to bed at 08:00 hours. I was once again rocked out of bed at 09:30 hours when the pager went off for a sick person in Jackson Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and got in my car and headed back into the shed. I got there and parked my car and Carol ahd pulled 13-2 out. I got in and off we went. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got fuel for the unit and then went back to the shed. Scott was there working on the stretcher from 13-1. I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. I then picked up my check for last month and headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch while I watched All My Children on TV. I then headed up to the fire house at 14:00 hours. I got up there and called Bubb and he said that he was still up at Swabs and that he would call me when he got back. So I headed back home. I then watched Dr. Phil and was getting ready to make dinner at 16:30 hours when Bubba called and said that he was back. I then got in my car and headed back up to the fire hall. I got there and washed my hands and then Bill showed up. We then called Helen to let her know that her dogs had gotten in her trash. Me and Bill then got to work putting lettuce in the little baggies. Jason's daughter then showed up and helped out also. LeeAnn was the next to come, followed by Helen, Holly, Robin, and Lonny. Me and LeeAnn then started putting tomatoes in little baggies. We then moved on to starting to make the subs. We laid the buns out on two tables that had been covered with paper. I did the cheese for the subs. I only got to help with two rounds of subs when the EMS pager went off at 19:14 hours for seizures in Halifax Township. I told Bubba to sit two subs aside for me and I would be back to pick them up. I then got in my car and headed into the shed. I got there and Carol had pulled the unit out awhile for me and Sue. Sue pulled in and when she came around the front of the unit, I saw that she had glasses on. I almost fell out of my seat. Man did they look good on her. She got in and off we went. We got there and got the kid loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed we headed on back. We dropped the medics off at their squad and then stopped at Sheetz where we both got something to eat and drink. We then headed back to the shed. Bill was there when we got back. He had brought my two subs in and to drop off his camera for me to use this Saturday at Jess's party. The three of us then talked. Some of it was about Sue's new glasses that she will be wearing until she gets lasic done on her eyes in March. I also did my tripsheet while we talked. I left there around 22:30 hours and headed on home. I decided to swing by the fire house to see if any one was still up there. I pulled in and Helen's dogs had gottne ahold of two trash bags from the fire house cans and had ripped them open. I went up into the hall and got another trash bag abd picked up the stuff. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am going to crash in bed soon as I am really tired.

Rest In Peace Hap

Went to bed last night at 02:00 hours and got out of bed at 11:00 hours when Bubba called my cell phone. He asked me if I could help him for a few minutes at the fire house. I told him that I would be right up. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then got in my car and headed up to the fire house. I got there and Bubba had the Tanker sitting out front and he was hosing down the CAFS Skidder truck from Swab's that they offered us. He told me to pull the Utility out and park it behind the fire house for now. So I went in and started the Utility up and he moved the Tanker and I pulled the Utility out and parked it behind the fire house. He then backed the CAFS unit in and then the Tanker. He told me that I could drool over it for now, but he had to go to a eye doctor's appointment. He said we had it to show he township that nigth what we are looking at getting. I looked it over for about an hour and then headed on home. Once at home I read part of the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched All My Children. I then finished reading the rest of the paper. I then watched Dr. Phil and then made dinner at 16:30 hours. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH. I then left at 18:00 hours and went up to the fire house. Bingo had been cancelled for the night, but I went up anyway as I was one bored, two I wanted to make sure we had no one sitting up there, and three I knew Bubba and Robby were going to be there. I got there and Robby was already there. I went inside the fire house and he was looking at the truck. I talked to him for a little bit and then Bubba showed up, followed by LeeAnn. We all talked about what they were going to tell the township. Bubba then went up to the hall to see if we had water back yet. He came back down at 18:45 hours and said that the water was working again. Bubba then pulled the Tanker out and then the CAFS truck. Him and Robby then went up to the township building. Me and LeeAnn stayed at the station and talked about the truck and the hall. Lonny then showed up, followed by Whitey and then Troy. Bubba and Robby then got back and they had Troy pull the Tanker out and they backed the truck in and then Troy back the Tanker back in. All of us then looked over the truck and talked about things. That was when I found out that Jason had worn my bunker pants by mistake on the accident on Tuesday morning. I also found out that he broke the one button of the left side of my bunker pants in the back. We then talked some more about stuff. Whitey left first and then Troy left and then the rest of us left around 22:30 hours. Once at home I talked to mom for a little bit and am now getting ready to watch Mythbusters.

The Day of Accidents

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning at 08:50 hours when the EMS pager went off, followed by my fire pager for an accident with injuries on Creek Drive in Jackson Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and went to the scene. I got there and parked my car. I got there at the same time as Tom Pottiger and Jim Dull. I went inside the house there and checked on the kid. His mother showed up and said that she would take him home and did not want him transported to the hospital. So I got her to sign the refusal and then I left and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Alf was out front sitting and waiting for Kim to get back with 13-1. I went in the office and logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the refusal. Kim then showed up with 13-1 and the three of us talked for a little bit. I then ran to the doctor's office and paid my bill. I then stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then stopped at Giant and got a gallon of milk and two gallons of diet iced tea. I then went home. Once at home I sat down and started to read the paper and watch a little TV, when the pager went off at 11:19 hours for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed back into the shed. I got there and Dohn was already there. I parked and went inside and got in 13-2 and off we went. It ended up being two refusals. After we were done there we headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in again and did the paperwork from the call. I then went home. Once at home I ate lunch and watched a little TV. I then finished reading the paper and watched some more TV. I also stopped at the fire hall after both calls and we still do not have running water yet. I then made dinner and watched MASH. After that I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

No Water

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch while I read the paper and watched TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I got off and ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I then left at 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire house for the meeting tonight. I got up there and parked and went inside the fire house to get warm. I then went up to the hall. I went to the bathroom and when I went to wash my hands, I noticed that no water came out. So I tried the sink in the woman's bathroom, and again no water. So I now tried the sink in the kitchen, and again no water. Now I knew we had a problem. I then went down to the fire house and tried the sink down there, and once again, we had no water. I went back up to the hall and when LeeAnn came in I told her. She then called Matt Faust and he said he would stop in and look at it. Come to find out, that the pipe coming in the hall from the well is frozen. We ended up cancelling bingo for this Wednesday. After the meeting some of us stayed and talked. A lot of us are hoping that the pipe thaws out before we make subs and also before Jess's B-day party this Saturday. After I was done up there I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and ate a snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. Super Bowl Sunday

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower. I then read the paper while I ate lunch. Sue then called around 12:40 hours and said that they were going to run up to Giant and get a few balloons and then go to the Dollar Store and get a card. She said that she would call me back when they were done shopping. Then at 12:59 hours the fire pager went off for a chimney fire in Jackson Township. I got my shoes on and grabbed my jacket, hat and keys and got in my car and headed up to the fire house. My father went about getting his bunker pants on before heading up to the fire house. I pulled in and parked and Bruce pulled in behind me. I went inside and Bubba was already there and Robby was getting his gear on. I kicked my shoes off, put on my bunker pants, grabbed my jacket and helmet and then went over to the Engine. I got in the left rear jump seat. Bruce was driving, Bubba had the OIC's seat. LeeAnn then came in and got in the right jump seat. My father came in and was going to get in the Engine, when Bubba told him to go with Robby in the Tanker. We then stopped and Ray got on the Engine. It ended up being Wil's house. We got there and took the 24 foot ladder off of the Tanker and set that up against the chimney. We ended up cleaning the chimney and the stove inside. I set up the exhuast van inside by the back door to draw the smoke out of the house. We were there for about 1-1/2 hours. We then went back to the fire house and once I got changed out of my bunker gear, I called Sue's cell phone. I had called them when we were leaving the station and told her that I would be in as soon as I got back from the call. I talked to her and she said that I didn't have to come in and that they would sign my name on the card for me. I talked to both Sue and Amanda for a little bit and then hung up. I then filled out the report for the call and then me, Bubba, Jason and LeeAnn talked for some time. I then headed on home. Once at home I updated the website and did a few things on the computer. I then grabbed my chips, soda, and fudge and headed back up to the fire house. I dropped the food off at the hall and then parked my car and went inside the station. Bubba then showed up and we talked for a little bit. He then went down to the house to bring his TV up to the hall. Bill then showed up and went into the hall. LeeAnn then came back from running in town to get a few things and went up to the hall. After Bubba got his TV up to the hall, we hooked the cable up and ran it up into the hall to the TV. We then sat all the food out and setteled in to watch the game. It started out as a good game, as I was for the Bears, and then it went downhill and they ended up losing to the Colts. I had fun at the party and then after it was over, we cleaned everything up. We all then slowly left and after we got Bubba's TV loaded up in his car, I left and went home. Once at home I called Sue to thank her and Amanda for putting my name on the card. We then talked for about close to an hour. I am soon going to hit the sack as I am tired.

Busy Day

Last night around 00:41 hours while I was talking with Sue on the phone, the pager went off for breathing problems in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then headed into the "Barn". I got there and Sue was already there. I parked my car and we went inside and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and placed Medic 6 in service and took the lady down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at the Uni-Mart on Front Street and got something to drink and then continued on home. Once at the shed, I logged my time in and then me and Sue talked for a little bit more and then I did the paperwork from the call. After I was done I headed on home. Once at home I logged off the internet and then hit the sack as I was tired. I got up this morning at 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch while I read the paper. I then sat down to watch the "The Towering Inferno", when at 14:40 hours the EMS pager went off, followed by the fire pager for an accident with injuries in Jackson Township. I got my boots on while my father got his bunker pants on. He got in his truck and took off for the fire house. I got in my car and headed to the scene. I got there and Jason Faust, Matt Faust and Jamie Stoneroad were already there. I parked my car in front of Stoneroad's and went over to the two cars. I originally thought it would be all sign-offs. I talked to the couple in the SUV and they said that they were both ok, and just shaken up. I then went over and started talking to everyone from the van. At first no one wanted to go down. But slowly they all started complaing of back pains. Me and Scott ended up taking two down to Hershey, and Dohn and Kim Stout took two to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. We stopped at the Hess Store by Wal-Mart and got something to drink and then continued on our way home. We got behind MICU 6-5 on the mountain and Scott called them and told them that they had some lights out on the back of there unit. I then ran out to the fire station and got my car. I had my father take it back to the fire station for me. I then went back into the shed and logged my time in and did the paperwork from the accident. I also restocked the units with backboards and cervical collars. After I was done I headed on home. Once at home I talked to the parents for a little bit. I then went downstairs to grab a soda and a bag of chips, when the pager went off at 19:40 hours for chest pains in Jefferson Township. I came upstairs and got my boots on and then got in my car and headed back into the shed. I got there and parked my car and Dohn pulled in. We both went inside and got in 13-1 and off we went. County then advised us, Perry Medic 81 and QRS 6-3 that it was now a cardiac arrest. Carsonville Fire Company was also dispatched to assist. QRS 6 got there behind Engine 19-1. We were next. When we pulled up they were brining the Pt. down the drive way in the back of a pickup truck. I helped 19 and 6 load the Pt. in the back of 6-3 and then took over CPR for Charlie Bisking. It ended up being called. We went available and went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then did a quick tripsheet on the call and then headed on home. Once at home I fianlly ate dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Let It Snow, Let the Accidents Start

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 07:30 hours when the pager went off for a childbirth in Upper Paxton Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and parked. Carol and Kim Stout pulled in behind me in parked. We got in 13-1 and started out the door when Medic 6 told us to stay available, so we did. I then ran up to Giant and picked up a few things and then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and then read the paper. I then watched some TV. I then ate lunch and watched a little bit more TV. Then arond 15:12 hours the pager went off for bleeding in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and got in my car and headed back into the "Barn". It was snowing out, as it had been since about 13:30 hours. I got in there and Carol was just in front of me. I parked my car and then went inside and we both got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and Jim and the other medic were already there. We got the guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back home. It was still snowing out, and there was an accident on Clarks Valley Road in Rush Township. County called us once while we were still at he hospital and wanted to know our location. They then called us a second time when we were going down Second Street, and a thrid time while we were coming down Front Street. Jim finally told them that we were trying to get ALS back into the upper county. We then heard that Engine 66 who was on their way to the accident, was also in an accident of their own. There was then an accident in Lykens Township, one in Wiconisco, and another one in Lykens Township. Ambulance 24-2 ended up going down to the Rush Township accident. Scott called my cell phone, but I did not answer due to driving, so he called Carol's cell phone. He told her that the mountain was at a stand still and that I should go around the mountain. So I went around the mountain and just as we were coming into Sleepy Hollow, county called us again. Jim answered and they dispatched us to an accident with injuries and roll over at the interesction of Million Dollar Road and Lehman Roads in Halifax Township. I pulled over on Million Dollar Road and me and Carol switched places and we took off again. We got there and it ended up being a refusal. We then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my times in and then did the paperwork from the two calls. I then ran up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Quiet Day

Went to bed last night around 03:00 after watching Mythbusters on TV. I got up this morning at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch and watched some TV. I then helped mom get stuff put away up in the attic. I then sat down to read the paper. I then watched a little more TV. I then made dinner and sat down to eat it while I watched MASH. Around 17:20 hours the pager went off for an assault victim in Halifax Borough. I handed my mom my dinner and got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Dohn already had the unit pulled out. I parked my car and got in 13-1 and off we went. We staged at Front and Market and then PSP wavied us off as we were not needed. We then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then headed on home. Once at home I finshed eating dinner and watching MASH. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
