A Sad Day for this Country

Went to bed last night at 03:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning at 11:45 hours when the pager went off for chest pains in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and parked and then got in 13-1 and off we went. We got on the scene and Bill was already there. He told me later that he had just left the doctor's office when the call came in and he turned around and went back. We got the guy loaded up and then took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed we headed on back. We dropped the medic off at his squad and then went back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and put my tripsheet in my folder and headed on home. Once at home my mother told me about the shooting at Virginia Tech. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone envoled in this sad act of viloence. I read the paper and watched the coverage on the TV. I then got on the computer to do some things. I then made and ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I then left at 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire house for the meeting tonight. I got there and Eric was sitting in the station and LeeAnn was up in the hall. I went up into the hall and talked with LeeAnn. The meeting was really short tonight and I was heading for home around 20:40 hours. Once at home I took a shower and then ate a light snack while I watched Dateline on TV. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
