$400.00 in Prize Money

I left the house last night around 19:30 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and LeeAnn and Candy were already there and they were talking to Bubba. I parked and went down to LeeAnn's car and the four of us talked. Jason and Dave pulled in then and then Troy pulled in and Lyle came down from the hall. Then Helen and her friend Sonja came down and Martha decided to go over also. Martha took LeeAnn and Candy in her car and Sonja took Helen, Troy and Lyle in her car. Bubba had Dave, me, Jason and Robin in his car. We then stopped at Shell and then Robin moved over to Martha's van for the ride over. While at Shell I got a bottle of Gatorade for the ride home and an Orange Drink for the ride over. On the way over on Rotue 11/15, Martha passed us and we saw an ass hanging out the passnger's side front window. Here it was Candy's ass. Now she had already had two Steel Reserve's before we even got to the bar. We got there and went inside and I got a Coors Light and then put my songs in. I sang 4 times. I sang "Ring of Fire" first, then me and Bubba sand "East Bound and Down". I then sang "New York, New York" and then me and Bubba sang "Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On". Me and Jason also played two games of pool. I had quite an assortment of drinks, 8 Coors Lights, 2 Yeager Bombs, a Test Tube Shot of California Strawberry, and then a Fire Water. They also brought a cake over for Robin's birthday. Jason had his new camera with him and Candy was running around taking pics. I had Jason take a picture of her sitting on my lap and then LeeAnn took a down blouse shot with the camera and so did Candy of herself. I danced with Candy, Sonja twice and Robin. We left there around 02:00 hours and were home by 03:00 hours. The ride home was a little blurry for me. I know I drank my Gatorade and I know I fell asleep. I woke up once or twice when we hit big bumps and then finally when we pulled in. I got in my car and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then was in bed by 03:25 hours and was out like a light until my alarm went off at 07:00 hours this morning. I got out of bed and ate a few pieces of toast and then got changed into my uniform and then grabbed the small cooler and my flashlight and then headed up to the station. I got there and LeeAnn's car was already there. I parked and went inside and put my gear and Jason's gear in the back of the Utility. My father then loaded his gear up in the Engine and then pulled the Engine out. LeeAnn put her gear in and her cooler when Helen and Kenny came down. Bubba then came up and I gave Jason a call and he said he was leaving his house very soon. Bubba came up and pulled the Tanker out and I pulled the Utility out. Jason then showed up and we all loaded up and headed on into Shell. We stopped at Shell and I got some Gatorade and a bag of ice for the cooler and then we headed on down the road to New Bloomfield. We got there and registered and then went down to the judging area. We did some touch up since we had beat the judges there. They then judged the Tanker and then Engine. The Engine had a few things wrong, such as the one light did not work and they claimed that our fire extinguishers did not meet NFPA standards. We did not get judged until almost 45 minutes after we got there. After we were judged we headed to a small diner and had breakfast and then went back into town and got lined up. Robin met us there and rode with Bubba in the Tanker. The parade started at 13:00 hours and I would say lasted about close to 2 hours. The judges did do spot judging in the parade. We then went back and parked in some field beside the pavillion. They had food there for us and then they handed out the awards. The Utility took 2nd place in the Light Rescue category, the Engine took 2nd place in the Commercial Chassis, 1995 and Newer category, and the Tanker took 1st place in the Tanker, 2,000 gallons or more category. We then left and headed on home. We stopped at Shell and refuled and then went back to the station and put the trucks away and then we all headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and just finished eating dinner. I am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Getting Ready for the Parade

Went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:50 hours when Sue called my cell phone. She asked me if I was still on duty and I told her no that I had gone off at 09:00 hours this morning. She told me that Scott was coming out to her house with his father's tractor to pull 12 bushes out of her yard and she was going to help him. She asked me if I would cover for her for a little bit until they were done and I said that was not a problem. I then got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then headed up to the fire house to wash the Utility. The Engine was still gone as they had gone to a funeral over in Duncannon. I pulled the Utility out and then gave Jason a call and he told me he would be over in 30 minutes. He never did show up and I figured that he had fallen back to sleep, which I was fine with as I know he works night shift. I then washed the Utility and then Katina stopped in and helped me finish washing the Utility as it started to look like it was going to rain out. I then put the pressure washer away and it started to rain. I quickly back the Utility into the station and then put tire shine on the tires. Me and Katina then talked about different fund raisers that we would like to try. She then left because she had to go to work. About 10 minutes later, the Engine got back and Bubba parked the Engine out front. Bubba, Robin, Helen and Kenny got off and they all went home to change clothes. I got the pressure washer back out and got it all set up and then started to sweep out the cab when Helen came down. Robby then got his mustang back up and running with the help of Troy and we heard him do a burn out in front of his mother's house. He then came down the alley and we all looked at the car and then they went out riding around. Bubba, Helen and Kenny then started washing the Engine. Robby then called my cell pone and asked if Bubba was there and I said yes and that he was washing the Engine. Robby then told me to tell Bubba that he needed some one to come out to Badorf Road with jumper cables as the battery in the Mustang had died. I told Bubba and I told him that I had a pair of jumper cables in my car and I would run out. So I ran out and we tried to jump it, but it was to far gone. So Troy asked me if I would run him out to his house so he could get the battery out of his Dodge. I told him that was not a problem. So I ran Troy out to his house and he got the battery and then we headed on back to Badorf Road. Troy had me go in the back way and when we hit Badorf Road which is a straight stretch, I floored it and had my car up to 85 MPH before I had to slow down as we were coming up on Robby. They switched the battery's around and the car started back up. I then headed back to the fire house. I then touched up the tires on the Utility and then pulled it out and touched up the paint under the wheel wells. Gary then came home and went up to the fire house to talk. Lonny and Troy pulled in and then Lyle showed up also. We all sat around talking and then I backed the Utility in and headed on home. I just finished eating and am getting ready to head back up to the fire house to head over to Shade Mountain tonight.

More Calls with 13

Went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and got this morning around 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate lunch and read the paper. I left the house a little after 13:00 hours to head up to the fire house to start working on the Utility. I had just past Wil and Jody's house when the pager went off for an unknown problem in Halifax Township. I turned my blue light on and Bubba had just pulled from the alley when I rounded the turn. He waved me past him and I heard him yell "ICE CREAM!!!" as I drove by. I headed to Dohn's house and once there I parked and got in 13-2 nad off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded up and then took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we transferred out patient over, the charge nurse asked us if we would take a lady back up to SLV. We said we had to check with the Chief. So I called Scott and I told him that Dohn did not have a problem with it since the guy said that he had called everyone and no one was able to do it at the time. Scott said that if Dohn did not have a problem with it, it was ok. So we told the charge nurse and he told us where to go. We picked the lady up and I drove back up to SLV. We dropped the lady off and then Dohn asked me to swing by Medic 6 as he had some paperwork to sign. We were there for about 39 minutes and then we headed on back down through. I stopped at Dohn house and picked up my car and then headed into town. I stopped at the "Barn" and put my times in and then ran up to Giant and picked up a gallon of milk and a gallon of diet iced tea. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I then changed into street clothes and then headed on up to the fire house to start working on the Utility for the parade on Saturday. I got up there and Bubba, Robby, Tande, Troy, Jason and Kenny were all there. My father then pulled in and we stood outside for a little bit and talked. Bubba and Robin then left to go to a viewing over in Duncannon. Me and Jason then started working on the compartments of the Utility while my father and Kenny started working on the compartments on the Engine. Robby, Tande and Troy ran into McDonald's to get something to eat. While they were gone it started raining and my father backed the Engine in and I put the bay doors down, but cracked them to let some air in. Me and Jason did all of the outside compartments, the back and the cab of the Utility. I will be washing the Utility later this afternoon. My father left and then Troy left, followed by Robby and Tande. LeeAnn then showed up and then Bubba and Robin got back and Bubba came up to replace a few lights on the Engine and the Utility. Helen then came down and did the tires on both the Engine and the Tanker. Robby and Tande then stopped back in and we all sat around and talked. We all left there around 24:00 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Busy Day at Medic 6

I went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 06:45 hours when the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Halifax Township. Since it was so close to 07:00 hours and me having to leave for work, I decided not to go on the call. I fell back asleep and woke up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate breakfast and read the comics. I left the house around 07:36 hours and headed up to Eville for my 12 hour day shift at Medic 6. I got there and clocked in. Wendy and Wertz were already there when I got there. I went inside and did a rig check on 6-7 which was sitting out back as Capt. Carl and Ron were out on a call with 6-3. Once they got back I did a rig check on 6-3 and then sat down to watch some TV. I then ran Wertz up to Koppy's so he could get something to eat for lunch. When we got back I then ate my lunch and then Steve asked me to help him with year to date stats for the townships and boroughs that we serve. The tones then went off around 12:38 hours for an assult victim at Wal-Mart. Me and Scott got in 6-3 and off we went. It ended up not being an assult victim, but was a traumatic injury. Some dumbass decided to race his friend on foot in the parking lot of Wal-Mart for $5.00. When the guy got to the building, he thought he had slowed down enough and put his hands on the plate glass window. Well needless to say, he went head first through the window and landed inside the store. We bandaged him up and ran him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, I drove back. On the way back me and Wertz decided on meatball subs for dinner. So we first stopped at Dollar General so he could get some drain cleaner for the sink in the men's bunkroom as it was running slow. We then ran up to Wal-Mart and picked up a bag of frozen meatballs, buns, cheese, and sauce. We then stopped at Shell to get fuel and I picked up some chocolate milk. As we were leaving Shell the tones went off for a nose bleed in Gratz Borough. We thought the Lykens crew was back, so we headed back to the station. We got there and started putting out stuff away when Tindel called Wertz and said they were not back in the area yet, so we ended up taking it. We ran up there and got the lady loaded up and we ended up taking her to Lebanon Good Sam Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back over Gold Mine. We got back to the station and people were starting to arrive for the staff meeting. Wertz got the crock pot out to start making the meatball and I sat down to start typing my first chart, when the tones went off for a hand injury in Washington Township. I had Tommy close out the computer while me and Wertz got back in 6-3 and took off. It ended up being some 7 year old kid being bit by a hamster and the bleeding was not stopping. We got on the scene and bandaged the wound and got a refusal. We then headed back to the station. Wertz went to work the crock pot and he got pissed and left in the squad and ran up to Wal-Mart and bought a new crock pot and brought it back. He then put some meatball in the microwave for us. He almost got them done when the tones went off for a chocking in Millersburg Borough. We got back in 6-3 and took off towards Millersburg. We got down there and it ended up being a refusal. We then headed back to the station. We finally were able to eat dinner when we got back. I had two meatball subs. I then sat down to start doing my charts. The night shift (the night EMT really) wanted to go out to eat, so Wertz and his EMT, and Tim and Tommy ran up to Ashley's pizza to get something to eat. I told them I was staying behind to work on my charts. Tim had made the joke that since it was really storming out that we were going to lose power soon at the station. I told him it had better wait until I was done with my three charts. I heard the pole fire that Carsonville had and heard that our Engine and Tanker were dispatched to it. I was talking to Bill on my cell phone and had just finished typing the narrative for it, when the power went off and I lost the whole cart. I was pissed. I found a flashlight in the station and went in and sat down in the dayroom and continued to talk to Bill. After about 30 minutes, the power came back on and I was able to do my three charts. I finally clocked out at 22:40 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Done with Mod C

I left Sunday night around 19:30 hours and headed up to Eville. I stopped at Koppy's on the Square and picked up something to snack on that night and some chocolate milk. I then headed down to the station. I got there and clocked in and my father clocked out. Kunst had come in early for Jim. I then did my rig check and folded laundry. I then checked a few things on the computer and then sat down and watched TV. Kunst had on "The War" on PBS and it was very interesting and I watched it. I then went to bed around 24:00 hours. I once again slept on the chair in the day room as I have found that to be the most comfortable to sleep on. I was rocked out of sleep at 08:01 hours when the tones went off for a back pains, class 2 in Lykens Borough. Tommy came back because the Lykens crew had called down. He thought that he was on with Kathy. At this point I sat up and told him that I was his partner as I was working a 36 hour shift. I got my boots on and grabbed my other stuff and then got in 6-7 and we took off. It was at Don's Food Rite and Yeager had taken 6-8 and went to the scene as a QRS to stabalize until we got there. We got there and it ended up being a refusal. We then headed back down to Eville. Flipper then showed up as he had to drop off his truck at West End Garage. Will Leah had not come in for her shift at Lykens and Jim asked Flipper if he wanted to work the day shift in Eville. Flipper said that he would and then Jim said that he would go up to Lykens. Yeager was already on his way down to Eville so when he got there, he washed 6-8. Steve then asked Tommy if he would run 6-3 up to Lykens to take it to the garage and then he would bring him back in 6-1. While they went up there, I then went out and pulled 6-7 out and washed it. I finshed up when Steve and Tommy got back. I then sat down for a little bit and then we heard Flipper out back banging on something. We went out back and saw that he was using a sledge hammer to destroy Jim's old chair. Flipper had to take a break, so Tommy then took over and sent me out to the bay to find a pair of wire cutters to see if they would cut the springs in the bottom of the chair. They didn't so he then asked me to grab a small hammer and a crow bar. I went back in and I saw a beautiful looking lady standing up front talking to Wendy. I looked at her for a little bit and then went out to the bay and grabbed a small hammer and a crow bar and went out back. We finished up and then went inside and the lady was still up front there. Steve then asked Tommy a question about the schedule and I was sent around to check all of the computer for something. I then went up front to ask Wendy about her computer and the lady turned towards me and I saw it was Jaime Simmons, who I had gradurated with from High School. We talked for a little bit and then I went back to the day room to do something. We then talked about what we wanted to do for lunch. We agreed on the R & K Diner. We went up there and I had 2 cheese burgers with a side order of fries. After we ate me and Tommy ran up to the Lykens station to pick up the laptop so a chart could be downloaded. We got there and they told us that they got it to download. So we turned around and left. I then stopped at Koppy's and got a few things to munch on and to drink. We then headed back to the station. Once there I sat down and read and then when I was done with my book, I laid back in the chair and took a nap. Flipper and Tommy were also already taking naps when I laid back. I then woke up I forget what time it was. Lykens then got a call for chest pains. They took that person to Harrisburg Hospital. Tommy then said that he wanted to run up to Wal-Mart, so we got in 6-7 and ran up there. We looked around for a little bit and then headed on back. He had me stop at Koppy's and he got a few thigns to munch on. When we got back I ate my lunch as my dinner and then sat back down. Flipper then ran up to West End to check on his truck and he came back. Fred then came in to the station looking for Flipper. Flipper came out and Fred told him that his truck was ready. Flipper then asked me to run him up to the garage to pick up his truck. I ran him up there in the squad and he picked up his truck and I drove back. He told me to park the squad out front as he was going to run up to Jo-Jo's and get someting to eat for dinner. He ran up and brought it back to the station to eat. Tommy then left at 20:00 hours and me and Flipper sat and watched TV. I watched the begining of Part 2 of "The War". Flipper then wanted to watch wrestleing at 21:00 hours so I gave him the TV. I then checked a few things on the computer at 23:00 hours and went to bed around 23:40 hours. I woke up at 07:45 hours when the alarm on my watch went off. I got up and got my things together. Ron them came in, followed by Zack, Bruce and then Steve. I clocked out and left for home. Once at home I took a shower and then crashed in bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 16:00 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then read the rest of the paper and then made dinner. I ate dinner while I flipped through my Essentials book to look over a few things. I then left the house at 17:30 hours to head into town. I stopped at Shell and got an organe drink and then headed on down to HACC. We did a quick review before we took the written test. The test was not as hard as a lot of us had thought it was going to bed. I got a 93% on the test. After we were done down there, I left and headed on home. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Going Crazy!!!

I went to bed Thursday night around 02:00 hours and got up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then ate breakfast. I then got things together and then headed on up to Eville for work. I got up there and John and Scott Wertz were there. As I walked in, Scott was leaving on a call in Millersburg and the Lykens crew was getting ready to leave on a call for Klingerstown. Matt and Tindel then came in as they were the other part of the day crew. We found out that Brian Wertz, never came in to work, as he had just gotten home from working at county at 07:30 hours. So Tindel decided that when Wertz got back that I would go up to Lykens. Peiffer's then showed up to do the fire extinguisher's. The Lykens EMT had brought 6-8 back and left it at the station. I was told to run up there and bring 6-8 back down so they could check the extinguisher on the rig. While I was on my way up to Lykens, we got hit for a fall victim in Lykens Township. Matt and Tindel took that call. I ran up there and threw my stuff in the day room and the fridge and then got in 6-8 and headed on back down to Eville. I got back with 6-8 and I took the fire extinguisher off. Wertz then got back and he wasn't there for long when the tones went off for a fall victim in Wiconisco. I got in 6-8 and we headed up to Wiconisco. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, I drove back. Once back at the station I hekped Wertz unloaded the gear from 6-8 and the tones went off for breathing problmes in Jackson Township. It was the frewquent flyer again. Matt and Tindel took that call and went to Hershey. I then sat down and did my chart from the fall victim. The tones then went off for a burn victim in Millersburg Borough. Me and Wertz got in 6-8 and off we went. I drove him there and once 20 got the lady loaded up we headed on down to Station 29 as Wertz was flying the lady out. After she was flown out, I exchanged two oxygen tanks with Kim and then loaded all of Wertz gear back up. We then headed over to Sheetz. I grabbed something to eat there since my lunch was sitting in the fridge in Lykens. We then headed back to Eville. Once there things quieted down. Steve called me in to his office and asked me what I was doing Saturday. I told him that I was working down at 13 and he asked me if I could get someone to cover my tine as he wanted me to do a 24. I said to give me 5 minutes and I would get back to him. I then called Bill and he said he would do it. I then called him back and told him that I wanted to try around to a couple of different people instead of always going to him. I asked Sue and she said that Bob would probally want to go somewhere. I then called Alf and he said that he could do it. I then told Steve that I could do the 24, but I had to leave at 05:00 hours Sunday morning, due to having Essentials at HACC at 08:00 hours. He said that was fine. I then left Eville around 19:40 hours and headed up to Lykens with 6-8. I got up there and backed it in and Steppler was already there. He was going over his gear. The tones then went off for another call for the Eville crew. We were then going to head over to the Gratz Fair. When we went outside, we saw the bay door to Station 22-1, where they house their old 1941 International Engine, open. So we went over to see who was there and it was Jim Hoffman. We talked for a little bit and then we headed back over to the station. Bubba then called and I talked to hime for a little bit. While I was talking to him, Carl called and told me that 6-6, the truck we had scrounged up for them to take to the high school football game, had died and wanted us to come down and try and jump start it. So I told Steppler and we headed on down to the high school in Eville. We got down there and tried to jump start it and it was a no go. Carl had already made a call down to West End Garage for them to come up and tow it. So we talked to someone with the high school and they said that they would leave the gates unlocked for the tow truck to get in. We then loaded Carl and Audrey up to take back to the Eville station, when we heard Gratz talking on the fire channel about an accident on Market Street outside of the Gratz Fair Grounds. Just as we pulled up in front of the station, the tones went off for the accident. I switched seats with Steppler and he drove up to the scene. We got there and there was no injuries (which we had heard over the fire radio) and the guy was sitting in the back of the PSP car. We asked the Trooper if we could talk to him and he said yes, and the guy said he did not want EMS and did not called for EMS and was not hurt. We said ok and then we went available. We then decided to head down to the fair grounds so I could get something to eat. We parked and swung by the first aid station to talk to my father who was at the fair, with Bruce, Kathy, Pam and John. I then went and grabbed something to eat and then we left to head back to Lykens. I asked him to stop at the Shell in Gratz and I grabbed something to munch on for that night. We then went back to the station. I sat down to watch some TV and was starting to think of going to bed when the tones went off for breathing problems in Jackson Township. It was another one of our frequent flyer and she lives on the street above me. We got in 6-8 and I drove down to the scene. Steppler ended up relasing her to BLS and then we headed back up to Lykens. Once we got back there, I laid down on the couch and went to sleep. I had gotten up around 05:00 hours to go to the bathroom and when I came back out, I heard the pager talking. It was for a fall victim in Washington Township and it was ours. So me and Steppler got in 6-8 and he drove. We got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed back to Lykens. While we were heading back, the tones went off for a sick person in Lykens. Shift change had already occured. Don Deppen was my relief in Lykens and I was supposed to go back down to Eville to make a MICU with Jim. Well those two met up at the scene, with Jim brining the unit. It ended up being a refusal. We then made it back up to Lykens and Jim was there waiting. I grabbed my stuff and got in my car and headed on down to Eville with Jim following. He stopped at got fuel at Shell and I continued back to the station so that I could unload my stuff. After I did my rig check and Jim did a few things, we headed down to Gonder's to have breakfast. After we had breakfast, we headed down to Giant so he could buy a few things. We then headed back up to Eville after he got what he was looking for. Once back at the station I did my chart from the fall victim from that morning and then I sat down and watched the end of the second Austin Powers move and then watched Austin Powers in Goldmember. After the movie was over, we turned on the Penn State game. I ate a late lunch while we watched the Penn State game. JoePa needs to do something with Morelli. We need a better quarterback. After the game was over I then got on the computer to check a few things. Then around 19:45 hours the pager went off for a CVA in Jackson Township at Station 216. We got in 6-7 and the radio did not work. So Jim ran back inside and grabbed his portable radio and went responding. We got down there and he went to the hospital. Jim had mentioned something about seeing a red wire hanging under the dash earlier in the day. So once he left, I qucikly ran down to the fire station and grabbed a flash light to check under the dash. I found the wire and decided to go home to work on it. So I ran home with the unit and respliced the wires together. I then ran into Sheetz to wait for Jim to get back. I ran inside and grabbed something small to eat for dinner. Sue then called and I talked to her while I waited for Jim to get back. Jim got back and he ran into Sheetz to get something to eat and then I ran him back up to Eville. While we were on our way back, the tones went off for an unknown problem in Northumberland County. Don Kunst was the evening medic and he went responding in the squad. He got cancelled and came back to the station after we had already been there for about 15 minutes. I then got on the computer to check a few more things and then went out to the day room and sat down in the chair, and eventually fell asleep. I got up around 04:50 hours and got up and got my stuff on. I then clocked out at 05:02 hours and put all my stuff in my car and headed on home. Once at home I set my alarm for 07:00 hours and then got changed and went to bed to try and get a little bit more sleep. I got up this morning at 07:00 hours when the alarm went off. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes and then I grabbed something to eat for breakfast and then got in my car and headed up to the fire station. Once there, I grabbed my gear and then headed into Shell to pick up two bottles of Gatorade for class. Amanda sent me a text asking me to let Tom know that she was going to try and make it to class, but she doubted that she would. I told her that I would let Tom know. I got down there and parked and then took my gear over to the pavillion. There were a few people there already, such as Bill, LeeAnn, Helen, Tom, Warren, Matt. Matt and Warren had brought Engine 29 dowo to use for the standpipe connection test and the sprinkler shut off test. We split up into two groups and my group went through forceable entry first. My partner was Troy. We ran through forceable entry and then we took a break while the other group finished up stand pipes and sprinklers. They the gave them some time to dry off and then the groups switched. We ran through stand pipe connections first and then we did the sprinkler shut off's. I did fairly good with the sprinklers, I did get wet and had some trouble finding the hole to put the wedges in to stop the flow of water. They then gave us another break so we could dry off. They then ran myself, Troy and Lonny through ladders, which we missed last Sunday. We did a single person 10 foot roof lader first, thne a single person 24 foot extension ladder. When I threw the extension ladder, Tom had me set it up in front of the windows on the drill tower. They then had us do a leg lock on the ladder. They then had us go up the 24' extension ladder with a pike pole, and once at top get off the ladder and into the window and then get back on the ladder and come back down. They then gave us a quick break and then we went over to the burn house and we did a two person 24' extension ladder and then a person went up top and threw an 18' roof ladder onto the roof. Troy and Lonny went first and then they took everything down and me and Troy went through it. I then needed a break as I was getting tired and a little out of breath. We took a break and then Tom sent everyone home that had already gone through everything. Me and Lonny then went back over so I could do the roof ladder. I got up to the top, but could not get the leg lock as my foot kept hitting the pulley. I told Tom that I could not get the leg lock and he told me to just come on down as he did not want to push me. I felt bad becuase I was not able to do the roof ladder, but Tom said that was ok. I then went over and changed and then threw my gear in the back of Bil''s truck, and Lonny did also and Bill gave is both rides over to our cars. Once at my car, I loaded my gear in my trunk and then left and stopped at the Uni-Mart on Front Street and got another Gatorade and then headed on back up through. I stopped at the fire house to drop my gear off and the Engine was sitting out front and LeeAnn, Bubba, Robby, his boy, Kenny, Lonny, House and the new guy (I forget his name already) were there. They were looking at the door that holds the cribbing as the handle had busted off because the cribbing had worked itselt up against the door. Warren then stopped in to check on me to make sure I was ok. I told him I was fine now that I got some water and Gatorade in me. We eventually got the door open. Bubba then left for work and LeeAnn, House and Kenny decided to wash the Engine for the parade this Saturday. I moved the Engine around for them and then I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate dinner while I did a few things on the computer. I am soon going to leave to head back up to Medic 6 to work a 36 hours shift at the Eville station. It has been a long and tiring weekend, but well worth it.

Day at Sue's Again

Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 09:09 hours when my mother called me. I got up and ate breakfast and read the paper. I then got changed into street clothes and then grabbed my Essential books and Sue and Amanda's T-Shirts and headed on over to Sue's house to house sit. I got there and she was talking on the cell phone. She left around 11:12 hours to head up to Lykens to get her hair cut. I sat down at the kitchen table and started to read my Essentials book when the septic service showed up. I talked to them for a little bit and told them that I would be inside if they needed me for anything. I then went back inside and finished reading Chapter 17 on Forceible Entry. I then started reading Chapter 21 when they finished. Sue had left me a check that she had signed for me to fill out and give to them which is what I did. I then finsihed reading Chapter 21 and then went down to the family room to watch some TV until Sears showed up. I sat down and started watching the movie MASH and I got 40 minutes into it when Sears showed up. They had just started working on the dish washer when Sue called me and asked me how things were going. I told her that the septic service had come and gone and that Sears had just gotten there. She said that she was leaving Eville and that she would be home shortly. She got there before Sears left and talked to them. They then left and then she went back to cleaning the house. She had me move her computer upstairs to where Amanda's computer was and move Amanda's computer down stairs to where Sue's computer had been. We then talked while she cleaned her house. I then gave her there shirts and she liked them. I also showed her my "MILF Hunter" shirt and she loved it. My mother then called me and told me that there was message on the answering machine at home from Rite Aid asking me to call them. So I called and they said that my medication had finally gone through. I left her house around 17:23 hours and stopped at Rite Aid and picked up my medications and then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and watched MASH on TV and did a few things on the computer. I then left around 20:00 hours and headed back into town to get my hair cut. I left a fruit paper with Tab in there and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I wll be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Flew More Out

Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 11:10 hours. I got out of bed and called my insurance company and hopefully got everything straightened out now. I then got dressed and made lunch and sat down to eat lunch. I had just started to eat mu sandwich, when the pager went off for an accident with injuries and confinement in Halifax Township. I got my boots on and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn" while I finished my sandwich. I got there and Carol was there and she was talking on her cell phone. She said that Dohn was coming dowm from Medic 6 and Scott would be able to transport from the scene. She told me to bring 13-2. So I jumped in 13-2 and we both went responding and headed to the scene. We got there and we ended up flying all 4 patient's from the accident. I had the driver of the one vehicle and I stayed with him throughout the whole call until he was carried out to Life Lion. Command 29 ended up calling for our Engine to assist with the LZ and manpower at the scene. After we got everything cleaned up and after talking to a few people, we headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time in and then restocked the ambulance. I then did the paperwork from the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I updated the fire company website and add the September minutes to the township website. I then ate dinner while I did a few things on the computer. I then left the house around 17:24 hours and headed up to the fire house. I stopped there and picked up my gear and then headed in to Shell. When I pulled in I saw Bill had just finished putting gas in his truck. We talked for a little bit and then I grabbed an orange drink and something to munch on and then left and headed on down to HACC for class tonight. When I came under the 225 bridge, I saw Bill just getting on the highway. I passed him and then hew caught up with me at the light. Class was very good. Ron taught as Tom wanted to get some more sleep before he had to go into work tonight as he was on the call this morning. After class was over I headed on home. Bubba had called me while I was in class and I called him back. He asked me to take a look at the report for the call this morning to make sure he had everyone's names down on the sheet. We then talked about various other things. I stopped at the fire house and Robby pulled up to ask me about class. We talked for a little bit and then he left to head into Sheetz to get something to eat. I then dropped my gear off and took a look at the report. I added a name and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. I am soon going to bed as I am tired.

One Hell of a Welcome Back

I went to bed last night around 02:10 hours as I was falling alseep at the computer. I was rocked out of bed at 07:13 hours when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Carol ahd 13-1 already pulled out. I parked me car and got in and off we went. We got there and it ended up being a roll over. We got the lady backboarded and into the back of the ambulance while Sue and Alf worked on getting the kid backboarded and into the unit. Medic 6 then showed up and Tim and Tommy jumped on board. Tim decided to fly both of them out and we headed to Station 29 for the LZ. We got there and Life Lion said that they could not land there due to the fog. So we decided to start heading towards Dauphin for the LZ, but then the Life Lion crew said they saw a clearing about 2 miles east of the accident scene. So we headed up towards Ridge Road and Meadow Lane. We got there and Life Lion circled over head trying to find a good spot to land. They finally landed and we transferred both patient's over to them. We then ran Tim and Tommy back to there rig at station 29. We then headed back to the shed. We had just pulled in when the pager went off for a sick person in Jackson Township. I told Carol not to go responding as I had to use the bathroom. She then left me drive out to the scene. We went responding and found out that this was our frequent flyer and we had county dispatch the fire company for lifting assistance. We got there and then I got on the fire company private and talked to Bubba and asked him how many he had coming to the scene. He asked me if I thought we needed more then 4 people and I said probally so he said about hitting for Engine 29-1, which I said was fine. Sue came on Engine 29-1 to help with lifting. After everyone got there we got her moved and then loaded into the back of the ambulance. I then drove down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were heading down to the hospital, the tones went off for breathing problems in Halifax Borough. Sue and Kim took that call and they went down to Osteo. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. I stopped at Shell and got fuel and then headed back to the shed. Once there I restocked and then logged my times in. Sue and Kim got back and then we talked for a little bit and then we all left. I headed on home as I was now off duty. I got home and ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got changed into street clothes and then headed into town to drop off two perscriptions at Rite Aid. I dropped the perscriptions off and then ran up to Sheetz and got gas. I then ran back to the shed and gave Bill his camera and taffy and then did my two tripsheets from the accident. I then headed back up to Rite Aid to pick up my medication. Well I ran into a problem with my insurance. Basically the guy said my insurance was not accepting it, so if I wanted the medications, it would cost me $400.00 for both. I almost died when he said that. I told him to let me talk to my insruance tomorrow and I would get back with him. I then ran over to Giant and picked up 4 bags of chips, a loaf of bread and a gallon of diet iced tea. I then called Bill to bitch at him and as I was getting in the car, my fire pager went off for a medical assist in Jackson Township. I put my blue light on and started making my way out to the fire house. I called Bubba when I heard the Engine go responding and told him that I would grab the Utility. I pulled in and the Engine was just pulling out. I parked and Kenny was walking back up to the house. When he saw me he asked me about the Utility. I told him that I was taking it and to move the tires from in front of the Utility so I could pull it out. I then went inside and got my bunker pants on and grabbed my coat and helmet and got in the Utility. As I got in I felt the back button of my pants that hold the suspenders down on the right side, pop off. I did not have time to worry about it as Kenny got in. I started it up and went responding with 2. We got there a few minutes after the Engine. Here Life Team had brought the lady back from the hospital and needed help moving her from the stretcher to her bed. We got her moved over and then we headed back to the station. Once back at the station, Bubba gave me a new button to put on my pants and then him, me, LeeAnn, and Helen sat around and talked. We all then left and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Fantastic Time in Wildwood!

I left the house Thursday morning at 090:30 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and parked beside Jason's truck and waited for Robby to show up. Bubba came back from Swab's and Jess came back from making a sweet tea run in to McDonald's. Robby then showed up, followed by Troy. I loaded my shit up in the back of Robby's truck and then we loaded Bubba and Jess's cars up and we left the fire house around 11:00 hours. We stopped at Shell and fueled up each vehicle an then we headed on down the road to Wildwood. We stopped at Arby's somewhere in Delaware and had lunch. I rode with Robby, Tande and Josh in Robby's truck. Jess took Troy, Jason and Lonny with her and Bubba had Robin, Jaz, and Jeffery in his car. In our car we had a small cooler with beer in it for on the way down. I had 3 Coors Lights on the way down to the motel. We stopped at a few gas stations on the way down for people to use the bathroom and for the smokers to buy some smokes. We got down there around 16:30 hours. We got there and Bubba and Robby got the keys for our rooms and they opened them up and we started unloading the vehicles. We got everything setteled in to our room and then I called home to let them know we made it down ok. Bubba and Robin then ran to the store to pick up some things and we all went out on the balocony to drink and yell at the girls walking by. While Bubba was gone, we found out that the people below us were from the Mount Joy Fire Company, which is in Lancaster County. We talked to them all weekend long and it was nice to have people from PA. to talk to during the trip. Bubba and Robin brought back some fried chicken. We then went down to the boardwalk to walk around on it. We stopped at quite a few arcade's and then the five of is from my room (Robby, Tande, Myself, Josh, and Jason) we ate at the Hot Spot on the boardwalk. I had 3 slices of pizze and a side order of fries. We then went back to the motel and we played a drinking game called "Thumbmasters" Myself, Bubba, Robby, Jason, Josh, Troy and Jess all played the game, and oh my god we had a blast. I went to bed around 03:00 hours and I shared a bed with Jason. I got up Friday morning around 10:30 hours. I got up and took a shower and then ate breakfast, Robby made chocolate chip pancakes. We all then went down to the convention center parking lot to go to the expo type setting. They had tents set up on the ball field and we walked through them. I got a t-shirt for myself and one each for Sue and Amanda. The girls and Jason and Troy went back to the motel, while myself, Bubba, Robby, Lonny and Josh walked around and looked at the trucks. We then headed back to the motel around 16:45 hours. We got back there and I started drinking again. I figured I must have had at least 10 to 13 beers Thursday and I had at least 10 to 13 beers Friday night. We ate dinner at the motel Friday night and I had a hamburger and a chesse burger. It rained Friday night down there and when we saw a decent break in the rain we decided to go down and walk the boardwalk. We hit the arcade's some more. I then stopped at got 3 post cards for me and two keychains for my mother. We then headed on back to the motel. When we got back Robby, Troy and Tande had beer pong all set up. We then picked teams and we started playing. I got paired up with Josh and we won our first game, lost our second game and then Bubba and Jason ended up winning the first round. The group from downstairs we invited them up and we got two of them to play with us during the second round. We then stopped and I went outside and sat on the balocony and started falling asleep in the chair, so Jess and Troy told me to go bed, soI got up and went to bed around 04:20 hours. I got up Saturday morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate breakfast and then me, Bubba, and Troy went down to the tents again so that Bubba could pick up a few thigns. We then went back to the motel and picked up our chairs and then headed on down to set up shop along the parade route to watch the parade. Robby and Josh said that they would bring the cooler down with them. They had to stop at the beer place to pick up another case of Miller Lite and I had them pick me up a 10 pack of Coors Light. They brought the cooler down and I had two beers while we watched the parade. The parade was nice and it lasted two hours. After the parade was over, we headed back to the hotel. Everyone was tired, so a few laid down to take naps and some of us sat out on the balocony. We then went out to an all you can eat buffet for dinner. We ate there and then headed back to the motel. We picked up a few things and then went down to the boardwalk for the night. I picked up taffy for Bill and some Swedish Fish for me. I then picked up another t-shirt for me and then I headed back to the motel, while Jess, Robin, Troy and the kids finished walking the boardwalk. Once back at the motel, I had 8 beers and was drunk by the end of the night. I went to bed around 02:30 hours and got up Sunday morning at 09:15 hours. I got out of bed and got changed and then got everything in my bag and then ate breakfast. I then started helping to pack stuff up and get it loaded into the back of Robby's truck. We left the motel around 10:30 hours to head on home. We again stopped at a few gas stations for people to use the bathrooms. We then stopped at Fudrucker's and had lunch and then continued on our way home. Our car swung by Josh's work so he could pick up his paycheck and then we continued on our way home. We stopped at Shell and fueled up one last time and then headed on back out to the fire house. We got there and got all of my stuff unloaded and into my car. LeeAnn and Helen then got back from class and we talked to them for a little bit and then we all headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then unpacked and got on the computer to do a few things. I talked to Bill about vacation and just finished talking to Sue about vacation and about her computer. I am soon going to bed as I am tired.

She told me to give her my key and she took it and gave it to her father and told him that she was going to have me drive the car over to the Firestone. I ran over and jumped in and House got in and then LeeAnn came in and we told her to get in the other side. Ray then came in and we told him we had room in the middle and he jumped in. We then saw Jason S. pull up and when he came in we told him to take the Utility. We were still waiting for a driver. Jason F. then pulled in and we told him to hurry up as we had a full boat and just needed a driver. He got in and we took off. We got to the scene and we did not do much except help then load the lady in the ambulance. We then went available and went back to the fire house and we all sat around and talked. I finished getting my gear on and went around the Tanker and Bubba was coming in the station. We all got in the Engine and he pulled it out and we saw that Helen was getting her gear on and then she got in and Lonny pulled up and he got in the back and we went responding with 5. We then heard Dave F. go responding in his POV. We then heard the Utility go responding with 3. Ray drove, and Kenny and Jason were also in there. House and Michelle came in their van, Lyle came in his truck, my father came in his truck, Robby came in his truck, Jess and Robin came in Jess's car and Jean drove to the scene. Jason and Matt also went to the scene as well as Andy. Overall we had a total of 20 members at the scene. We did not do much except stand by as they had enough help back there. The box was placed in service and then we ran up to the Shell in Eville and got fuel for both trucks and then headed back to the station. Once back we sat around and talked and then we all left at 16:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then did a few things on the computer while I ate dinner. I am getting ready to go back up to the fire house for Con-Ed Training tonight and then am coming home and leaving for work tonight at Medic 6. It is a busy, busy week leading up to my vacation.

Another Night at Shade Mountain

Went to bed Thursday night at 02:00 hours and got up at 10:15 hours when Sue called my cell phone. I talked to her for a little bit and she told me that she was now on with me and asked me if I wanted to come out to the house, and I said sure I would be out. So I got up and got dressed and did a few things on the computer real quick, then packed a lunch and then left and headed to Sue's house. I got there and went inside and she was on the computer. I put my lunch bag in the fridge and then I sat down and talked to her. She then made a phone call and I went outside and grabbed her paper and she asked me to grab her mail for her and I brought it in. I then read the paper while she spent nearly an hour on the phone. After she got off we then talked while I ate lunch. She then had to fold laundry, so she took it up to the room and I laid on her bed while she folded laundry. I went off duty at 14:00 hours and I ended up leaving around 15:20 hours. I stopped at Giant and picked up a box of water for my mother, a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. I then headed on home. Once at home I did a few things on the computer while I ate dinner. I then changed into street clothes and then headed up to the fire house at 19:00 hours. I got there and parked and went into the station and Bubba was not back from his doctor's appointment. Troy then pulled up I went over and talked to him. He was not going tonight because he had to DJ. LeeAnn and Candy then showed up next, followed by Jason and his dad, and then Bubba and Robin showed up, Helen came down and then Lonny got there. Jess could not go becuase she has Jasimen. We then figured out who was going with who. All the guys went in Bubba's car and all the girls went in Helen's car. Bubba drove, Dave sat up front, then me and Jason were in the back and Lonny sat in the very back. We stopped at Shell and I grabbed a Gaotrade and then we left and headed over to the bar. It was a good night. I got to sing 7 times, and that was mainly due to the fact that a group got kicked out for fighing and breaking two glasses. Me and Jason played 3 games of pool and me and Candy played one. I had 6 Coors Lights, a Yeager Bomb, a shot of Southern Comfort, and a test tube shot of Red Headed Slut. Candy went around to collect the money for the sounds guys and I took a $5.00 and put it between her breast in her bra. Overall I had a great time and we left there around 02:20 hours. Since they did not cook any food last night at the bar, all of us were hungry. So we laoded the cars up and this time I rode in the very back on the way home. We stopped at Angie's Dinner on 11/15 to eat breakfast. We went inside and where we sat, it was really cold. Candy was shivering becuase all she had on was a pair of white short shorts, a see throught top and a black strapless bra. If I would have brought a jacket along with me, I would have given it to her. We had a blast while we ate breakfast and when we were done, we headed on back. Helen dropped Candy off at her house. Once we got back we all went our separate ways and I left the fire house around 04:00 hours. I got home and got changed and then did a few things and went to bed around 04:45 hours. My cell phone woke me up around 10:45 hours and it was Whitey calling me. I answered and he asked me if I knew if we had a Slim Jim on the Utility. I told him no, and he told me that he was down at the hospital to take Barb and the baby home, and he had accidently locked his keys in the car. He thanked me anyway and then hung up and I went back to bed. I finally got up this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and took a shower and then read the paper. I then got on the computer and did a few things and then at dinner while I was on the computer. I am now watching the Penn State game and we just scored our second touchdown of the game. I am also getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Busy Day at 6

Went to bed Tuesday night at 02:00 hours and got up at 07:15 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and read the comics. I then got dressed and grabbed my suitcase, bag with my Essentials Books in, lunch box and two bottles of Gatorade and left for work. I headed up to Lykens and got there around 07:50 hours. I took my stuff inside and clocked in. Tindel and Audrey were going off and both left. I then did my rig check on 6-8 and then sat down at the table and read Chapter 3, and started 12 while Tim slept on the couch. Tommy then called and said that Steve wanted us to come down to the Eville station. We loaded up and headed on down to Eville. Tommy, Kathy and Ron were on down at Eville. Steve asked if we brought the tripsheets down and we said no, cause Tommy didn't tell us. Well it was a miscommunication between us. We then talked for a little bit and then we decided to leave. Tim asked me to run up to Gonder's so he could pick something up for lunch, which I did and then we headed back up to Lykens. Once we got up there I ate lunch while I finished reading Chapter 12 and then read 13. After I was done with Chapter 13, I then got on the computer to check a few things. Then around 15:30 hours we got hit for chest pains in Lykens Borough. We went responding, got there and got the lady loaded up and took her down to Osteo. After we got what we needed, Tim had me stopped at the Sunnco so he could get something to drink. I then grabbed something to eat later on tonight and we headed on back. We stopped at Eville so Tim could restock and then we continued on up to Lykens. I then sat down to watch some TV, when Tim said we had to run down to Eville cause he was having problems uploading his tripsheet onto the laptop. We got down there and Ron was out with Millersburg on a call so Tommy was just there. Tim uplaoded his tripsheet and finished it, when we got hit for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. Tim was waiting for Ron and 20-1 to take it, but then Ron called him and told him that he was out of supplies and asked Tim to take it. So we loaded up and I ran him down to meet 20-2 and then they headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. I then swung by the "Barn" and picked up my check so that I could cash it in the morning along with my check from Medic 6. I then ran up to Sheetz and grabbed something to eat for dinner. I then decided that I was going to pop in and surprise Sue, but when I drove by I saw Bill's trcuk parked out front and decided to keep on driving as they were probally talking and I did not want to interupt. I then went up and sat and Sheetz and ate my dinner while I waited for Tim to get back. Bill then called and I talked to him and he told me that he was not at Sue's, just his truck, as Amanda was taking it down to the garage tomorrow. Tim then got back and he ran into Sheetz and got something to eat and drink and then we headed back. We swung by Eville and I parked out front and Tim was able to upload his tripsheet onto the laptop and then we headed on back to Lykens. We got there and Tim did his tripsheets and I watched TV. I went to bed at 03:00 hours and then the tones went off at 04:30 hours for chest pains, class 3 in Wiconisco. We got up and went over there and talked to the guy, and it ended up being a refusal. We went back to the station and I did my chart and then checked a few things on the computer and then went back to bed around 05:20 hours. I got up at 07:45 hours when my alarm on my watch went off. Jim came busting in about 2 minutes later, slammed the door, turned the lights on and had his portable radio sky high and woke Tim up. I got my boots on and took my stuff out to my car. John then showed up and we talked for a little bit and then I left and headed on down to Eville. I stopped at the station and picked up my check and the newly revised schedule and the schedule for October that I was going to use to put in for my time. I talked some and then left. I stopped at the Community Banks in Eville and they were not open yet. So I decided that I was not waiting, plus I need to get gas, so I headed into Halifax. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and something to munch on and drink and then stopped at Community Banks and cashed my two checks. I then headed on home. Once at home I did a few things and then went to bed to get some sleep. I was rocked out of bed around 12:20 hours when the pager went off for back pains in Jackson Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and parked and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and MICU 6-3 was already there. We got the guy loaded up and then took him down to Holy Spirit Hospital. While I was down there Sue called me and we talked while we waited for the buffer sheet. She asked me if I could stay on a little bit longer tonigth while Amanda got her hair done. I said that was not a problem. Once we got the buffer, we headed on back. They picked Bowser up at the shed. Once we got back there, I logged my time in and then did the paperwork from the call. We then ran out to Dohn's house and I picked up my car and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then I worked on my October schedule for Medic 6. I then ate dinner while I watched TV and did a few things on the computer. Around 18:50 hours the pager went off for a Diabetic Problem in Millersburg Borough. I got my boots on and then got in my car to started heading to Dohn's house. I got as far as the end of my street when we were cancelled as MICU 6-5 was going to handle it. I turned around and headed on home. I am now getting ready to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Went to bed last night at 02:30 hours and got up this afternoon at 13:20 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I then ate dinner and then got changed into street clothes. I grabbed my books and headed up to the fire house around 17:20 hours. I got up there and Helen had her vehicle parked outside of the station and LeeAnn was parked behind it. I parked and went inside and grabbed my gear and put it in the trunk of my car. I then went over and talked to Helen and LeeAnn. I then left and headed on into town. I stopped at the Post Office and dropped something in the mailbox outside and then ran up to Shell and got an orange drink. I then continued on down to HACC. I got down there and parked beside Lonny. Class was good tonight, though it did get boring towards the end. I left there around 22:20 hours and headed on home. I followed Lonny home the whole way to Giant. He turned in and went to McDonald's and I went to Giant. Once there I picked up a card and a gallon of iced tea. I then headed on out through. I stopped at the station to drop my gear off and both bay doors were open and the Engine was pulled out. Bubba had his car pulled into the bay. I unloaded my gear while Troy got in his car and left for home. LeeAnn and Bubba were back at the computer when I walked back. The three of us talked and then we all left around 23:30 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting things ready for work at Medic 6 tomorrow and then I am hitting the sack as I am tired.
