Went to bed last night around 02:45 hours and got up this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I made and ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things on the computer. I left the house around 17:30 hours to head down to HACC for class. I stopped at the "Barn" first and logged in my time for yesterday and today. I then stopped at Shell and got an Orange Drink. I then headed on down to HACC. Class was good tonight. We went over Salvage and Overhaul. Class was over a littler after 22:00 hours and I left and headed on home. I followed Troy all the way to Sheetz, where I turned in to get gas and I also grabbed a cheeseburger to munch on. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. I am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Finally a Fire Call
Went to bed last night around 02:45 hours and got up this afternoon around 12:35 hours when Bubba called my cell phone to ask me a question. I then got up and ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then went back to my bedroom and read Chapter 16 Rescue Procedures from my Essentials Book and did the Chapter 16 section in the workbook. I then did a few more things on the christmas party project. I then emailed it off to Bubba. I then opened my final ebay item that I bought which was the 175th Anniversarry Book from Halifax from back in 1969. I was looking through that. Sue got ahold of me and asked me if I could be her partner tonight from 6 to 7 and I said that was not a problem. She told Carol and Carol said I could cover from 17:30 to 19:30 hours until she goes on to cover for Amanda. Then arond 15:40 hours the fire pager went off for assist Chief 216 with extinguishing a controled burn. I got socks and a t-shirt on and then grabbed my pants and got them on and then put my shoes on and grabbed my keys and got in my car and headed up to the station. I got there and Robby and Bubba's vehicles were already there. Bubba was walking back out to his vehicle in his bunker pants when I parked my car. I got out and went inside and kicked my shoes off and got my bunker pants on. Robby then came in and pointed at me and then the Tanker. I shook my head and finished getting my bunker pants on. Meanwhile Kenny had come in and so did Jason Faust. Jason and Kenyy started getting there gear on, I then saw Dave walk by and then Jason came in and got his gear on. I got in the Tanker and put us responding. Jason, Jason, Dave and Kenny got in the Engine and went responding and on scene and then I put us on scene. We pulled the trash line off of the Tanker and I was on the nozzle and Jason Faust was my back up. We extinguished the fire and then Bubba had Jason and Kenny grab pike poles off of the Engine and pull the pile apart and then we put foam on the pile. We then repakced the trash line and then headed back to the station. Once back there I heard my cell phone beeping and it was a missed call from Sue. So I called her back and she told me what Carol said. I then talked to Bubba and Jason for a little bit and then we all left and I headed on home. On the way home I called LeeAnn and told her about the call. I then went to take a shower once I got home and LeeAnn sent me a text that she had just gone by the place and he was still burning. I took a shower and then asked my father if he had seen any smoke when he came home and he said that he saw someone burning. I told him that we had just put that out about 45 minutes ago. So I got dressed in my uniform and my father got dressed and I went up and drove by the place and the guy was out back standing by the pit burning again. I went down to the public sale and told Bubba and him and me walked back up to the fire house and got in his car. My father was still at the fire house and said he was going to drive down also. Bubba stopped at the fire house and picked up a copy of the township burn ordiance. We then drove over to the place and the guy was gone again. So we went back to the fire house and Bubba made a few phone calls to try and find out who owns the garage and the property. LeeAnn then came up to the fire house and we decided to take the Tanker down and put the fire out again. We all got our gear on and I put my EMS pager to vibrate. LeeAnn pulled the trash line off this time and my father backed her up. They extinguished the fire and then put CAFS on it again. We then repacked the trash line. While we were doing that, Bubba put yelloow fire tape around the thing that the guy was using as his burn pit to kind of let him know that we had been there again. We then went back to the fire house and put the Tanker away and I took my gear off again and then we all left and I headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and got on the computer to do a few things. I went off duty around 19:48 hours and then Bill came over and picked up his camera. I am now soon going to go get a light snack. I am also getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Farm Rescue - Confined Spaces
Went to dinner at the Carsonville Hotel last night. I talked to Sue on my cell phone on the ride over to the hotel. I got there and went inside and Eric, Dave, Holly and Bill were already there. I sat down beside Holly and then we decided to order our drinks awhile. I got a Coors Light. LeeAnn and Helen then showed up and I showed them the pictures from the Hardware Bar from the night before. We then ordered dinner. I had the Carsonville Cheeseburger and a side order of chicken fingers. We sat and talked for quite a long time out there. I had two Coors Lights out at the hotel and then I finished with a Pepsi. We left around 20:20 hours and I headed back up to the fire house. Jaz was having a Halloween party at the fire hall and we decided to have and adult halloween party (Adult as in alcohol) after all of the kids left and we cleaned the place up for class today. Andy was down in the fire house watching the Penn State game so I went down and watched a little bit of the end of the second quarter and had two more Coors Lights down there. The kids all left around 22:00 hours and we got the hall back to normal and then myself, Jess, Barb, Andy, LeeAnn, Troy, Helen, and Herb all sat around and drank beer and alcohol and shot the shit. I had two more Coors Lights while we were up there. People slowly started leaving until it was just me, Jess, LeeAnn and Troy left. The four of us left around 01:00 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I checked my email real quick and then went to bed around 02:45 hours. I got up this morning at 08:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got changed into street clothes. I then ate breakfast and headed up to the fire house around 08:30 hours. I got there and parked and then Jason pulled in and parked. Millersburg came down to the class and about 5 guys from Halifax came out. The rest of the class was all our people. Class was good. It was the Awareness Level of Farm Confined Spaces Rescue. We had classroom lecture in the morning and then we took a break for lunch, which was fried chicken. We then loaded up into the trucks and headed on up to the Faust farm. Matt and Robby took the Tanker. Ray, Andy and Lonny went in the Utility and Jason, Bubba, my father, Helen, LeeAnn and myself went in the Engine. We got up there and they showed us the different things on the farm that could become a confined space and result in a rescue or a recovery operation. We then went back to the hall and filled out a course eval form and then everyone started leaving. I had two sandwichs as they had put out lunch meat for us to make sandwichs and we sat around and talked. I then went down to the station with Lonny to take him through the NIMS on line and then Lyle and took him through his NIMS. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and had a light snack and I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!!
Since I forgot to mention this on Monday, I want to wish a HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO AMANDA!!!!!!
I went to bed Thursday night around 03:00 hours and got up Friday afternoon around 12:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper and watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to work on the project for the christmas party again. I finished both of them up yesterday and I just have to email them to Bubba now so he can take a look at them. I then did a few things online while I watched MASH on TV. I then got dressed around 17:30 hours. I decided to wear a dark blue pair of jeans, my blue button down shirt that I had gotten for the wedding back in July and naturally sneakers. I left the house at 18:00 hours and headed over to Sue's house. I got there and parked and then Bob pulled up. I then went inside and Sue was at the stove in the kitchen making some dinner. She then finished that up. Meanwhile, Amanda changed into her club clothes. She wore a pair of blue jeans, a black and white top that tied in the back, and her red high heeled boots and a black jacket over top of her top. Sue then changed into the clothes she was going to wear. She wore a pair of jeans, a red sweater top and her brown 3 inch heels. Apparently somewhere along the course of yesterday, they lost power at her house, so the clock on the stove was off by at least 20 minutes. She fixed that and then had me fix he watch. She was running a little late, so Bob told Amanda to just take the truck and her and me could head down awhile and then him and Sue would be down in Sue's car. So me and Amanda left in the truck and headed on down to Outback. We got down there and parked and then fought our way through the rain over to the resturant. Cindy was already there along with her daughter, and one of Cindy's friends from her new work place. While we waited for Sue and Bob, Amanda and Brandi (Cindy's friend), went up to the bar and got something to drink. Amanda got a Smirnof and I don't know what Brandi got. Sue and Bob then showed up. We then told the hostest that a majority of our party was here and they got the tables set up for us and seated us. Chad and Brandon then came in and sat down, and then Alf and Kim showed up. I sat between Sue and Kim at the table. Lori then showed up and I believe there was not a seat there for her right then. Someone said something about getting her a chair, and she said that she found her chair and said she would sit with me. She then proceeded to sit down on my lap. We then got all setteled in and we ordered out drinks. I got a tall mug of Coors Light. We then ordered our food and I got a cheeseburger and fries. Sue gave me her fries since she did not want them. I had two beers with dinner. Some pictures were taken around the dinner table. Brandi then left and then we all paid and then got up to leave. Chad and Brandon left as they were not old enough to go to the bar. Alf and Kim went home as did Bob and Cindy's daughter. We then tried to talk Lori into going to the bar and she said she did not want to ride alone. I told her that I would ride with her to the bar. I told her that I rode down with Amanda in the truck and was going to ride home with Sue in her car. So Lori had to stop at the ATM and so did Sue. We then headed to the bar. We parked in the parking garage and then headed over to the elevator and we got in. When the doors closed Sue made the commet that the should all carress me. She said it was my dream come true, which it was, being in an elevator with 4 women. She said about hitting the stop button in the elevator. We all had a good laugh about it. We then went over to the Hardware Bar and the guy swipped our cards and we got in. We paid a $5.00 cover charge and then went into the first floor od the bar. I went over and got a Coors Light. Sue got a Yueinling Lauger and Amanda got some kind of mixed drink. Within the first 20 minutes I had a second Coors Light. Cidny's older daughter and her boyfriend then showed up and Kenny a guy that runs with Middletown who Amanda met at the Ladders practical of Essentials also showed up and bought Amanda a test tube shot. We then decided to headed up to the second floor. As we were walking out to go up, Steph and Kenny walked in. We all hugged each other and then headed up to the second floor. Lori said that they had changed it since she was last in, as it used to be all red and have huge couchs all over the place. It was now laid out as a casion type place with a bar. We then went up to the third floor which used to have poles and cages all over the place, but now it was just a big dance floor with black couches on the one side of the room and two bars. I got another Coors Light and then sat down on the couch beside Sue. I put my arm around her and we got talking and joking around. I then did a Yeager Bomb with Cindy's older daughter and Lori. I then also grabbed another Coors Light and went back over and sat down beside Sue. Sue then got up and got a diet coke and then sat back down beside me. She was done drinking for the night as she was our DD. We then went back downstairs to the first floor. Sue then paid for me to get up on the bar and in the barbra's chair and get a shot from a waitress. She also paid for Amanda to go up. They give you a playing card and then when you want to go up, you give it to them and tell them what kind of shot you want. While we waited, I got at least two more Coors Lights and then Cindy's oldest daughter took my card and asked me what I wanted to drink. I said Yeagermister. So she went up and gave them the card and the waitress grabbed three sets of beads and then motioned for me to come up. I climbed up on to the bar and she put the beads around my neck and then we danced over to the chair. We then danced a little more and then she had me sit down in the chair. She put a plastic hard hat on me and then got the bottle of Yeagermister and came over and sat on my lap. She then told me to put my head back and then she poured it in my mouth and I swallowed. She then helped me up and asked me if I had a belt on, which I said I did. She told me to turn around and then she went down in front of me and took my belt off. She the told me to turn around and lean on the chair and then she took my belt and smacked my ass with it. All while this was going on, Sue was taking pictures. She then put the belt around my neck and we danced over to the ladder and then I got down. I went over and put my belt back on and went over to Sue and got the camera back. I thanked her for paying for me to get up on the chair. I then danced with Lori, hit on Cindy, danced with Sue and also Amanda. They then had girls dancing on the bar and throwing beads out. The waitress that did my shot threw me one. They then offered two dollar shots at the bar. I had seven of them. You went up and gave the two girls your money. I leaned my head back and the one girl poured the shot in and then the second one put some whipped cream in my mouth. I then had one more Coors Light and we decided to head on home. Both me and Amanda stagged back up to Sue's car and they helped us in the back. Earlier in the evening I had drunk called Bubba, Robby, and Tindel. On the way down Second Street I tried Alf, Kim, Tindel, Carl and Helen with no answers. I then called Bubba again and Sue had me call her Steve. I then don't remember the rest of the ride home until Sue made the right had turned at the traffic light. We dropped Cindy off and then pulled in Sue's driveway. I all of a sudden felt sick and told Sue to open the car door which did not happen in time. I ended up vomiting in my helmet and then she got it open and I vomited some more on the driveway. She told me to leave my helmet on the driveway. Amanda already went into the house and Sue helped me up to the front porch. She had me take my shoes and shirt off. I then gave her everything in my pockets and she then took me downstairs to the laudry room and had me take my jeans off. She then put them in the wahsing machine and put a pillow on the couch for me to sleep on. I laid down and she covered me up with a blanket since I was just in my socks and boxers and then she went up to bed. I went to the bathroom a couple of times and then Sue came downstairs around 10:00 hours and woke me up. She threw my clothes into the dryer and then she got the paper and took Eros for a walk. I then went up and sat on the stairs and we talked. She asked me how I was feeling and I told her fine, just a little hazy. Amanda then came down and laid on the couch and the three of us talked. Bob then came down. The dryer then stopped and I got my clothes and put them on. I then showed Amanda the pictures and she downloaded them onto her lap top. Meanwhile, I went out and cleaned up Sue's car from where I got the vomit on it and I appoligized to her so much and she said not to worry about it, that shit happens. I then said goodbye to Amanda and she thanked me for coming out and hugged me. I then hugged Sue and told her sorry about the car again and I said goodbye to Bob. I then got in my car and left. I stopped at Shell and got a Gatorade and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then laid down in my bed and slept some more. I got up at 16:30 hours and had a pack of crackers and then I am now gettign ready to head out to the Carsonville Hotel for dinner and drinks. I will be back on later tonight so if any sexy girls want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Dinner with Amanda Again
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then I got my Essentials Books, my lunch and my Gatorade together and then left the house around 07:25 hours and headed up to Eville for work. I got there and parked and went inside and clockec in. Kathy was up and talking on her cell phone and Kuntz was in the one bunk room still sleeping. Jason was already there and was doing a righ check on 6-3. Yeager and Jim then showed up, followed by Steve. I sat down and read the SCBA chapter and then did the workbook stuff. I then went in and talked to Steve about picking up the shift on November 3rd. We then moved 6-6 around and stripped all of the equipment off of it since it is no longer in service and is soon going to be picked up by Spittler's. The Lykens crew then got a call to Williamstown and Wertz went down with them. Jim then got a call to Halifax and he went down with Bill and Dohn on 13. Matt then came down from Lykens and then 24 dropped Wertz off at the Eville station. I then ate my lunch and then we al decided to head up to Jo-Jo's for lunch. I got a ham and cheese sub there and ate that. Steve and Jim them joined the five of us and we all ate lunch. As we were finishing lunch, the Lykens crew got a call for chest pains in Lykens Borough. We went back to the Eville station and I clocked out at 14:03 hours and headed on home. I called Bill on my way home so he could swing by the house and drop off his camera for Friday night at the club. I then read the paper. While I was reading the paper, Amanda sent me a text asking me if I wanted to try Ruby Tuesday's with her tonight at the same time before class. I said sure why not, I would love to have dinner with her again. My mother then came home and I helped her bring some stuff in from her car. I got on the computer and worked on the project for the christmas party. I then left the house at 16:30 hours and stopped at Shell and got an Orange Drink. I then headed on down the road to Ruby Tuesday's. I got there and parked and waited on Amanda. She got there a few minutes after I was there and we went inside together and sat at the bar. While I was at the bar talking to Amanda, she pointed out that Nathan Imboden was sitting in a booth close to the bar. I looked towards him and he saw me and we both waved at each other. We both then ordered. She had a crab cake with some kind of red wine. I got the 4 Mini Ruby Cheeseburgers with fries. I had two bottles of Coors Light with dinner and then she had me try a swig of her wine. When I made a face she said "I guess your not a wine drinker" and I told her no I was more of a beer/hard liqour drinker. We then talked a little bit more and then we left and headed to HACC for class, I followed her to make sure she was ok on the way over, which she was. Class was good tonight, we finished up Firefighter Survival and did Rescue Operations. We got out of class around 22:00 hours and I followed Amanda and LeeAnn and Helen home on the highway until we got to the 322/225 split and I contiuned on 322. I then stopped at Giant and they still did not have my diet iced tea. I then continued on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired and have a long night ahead of me tonight.

Back to Class for Mod D
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 11:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I started to read the paper. I had just finished eating lunch when the pager went off for an unconscious person in Perry County, Duncannon Borough. I got dressed and got in my car and started to make my way into the "Barn". I had just gotten out of Fisherville when we got placed in service. I turned around and headed on back home. Once back at home, I finished reading the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to start copying pictures onto CD's for Troy for the slideshow for the fire company christmas party. Amanda called my cell phone at 15:01 hours and asked me if I wanted to grab dinner with her before class tonight. I said sure and told her to pick the place. She said she wanted to have something to drink with her dinner so she picked TGI Friday's. She said to meet there around 17:15 hours. I told her that I would be there. I then finished copying stuff over onto the CD's. I then left the house around 16:20 hours. I stopped at the fire house and picked up my gear and put it in my trunk. I then stopped at Shell and got an Orange Drink and then headed on down the road. I got to TGIF's and parked and did not see Amanda's car. So I sat in my car and waited until she showed up. Once she showed up we went inside and sat at the bar. She got a Smirnof and I had a tall glass of Coors Light. We then both ordered. She got Chicken Casadia's and I got the Friday's Chesseburger. We ate and then left there around 18:10 hours and headed on over to HACC. We got there and parked and went up to the room. We lost quite a few people since Mod C. Some of them we lost due to their age (you have to be 18 to take Mod D) and the other we are not sure why they dropped out. Class went good and we got down around 22:10 hours. We all left and I said goodbye to Amanda and then got in my car and headed on home. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and Bill pulled in while I was getting gas. I talked to him for a little bit and then I left and headed to Giant. Once I got there I picked up 4 bags of chips and then left. I then stopped at the shed and dropped off my schedule and then I left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to go to bed as I am tired.

Hope You Fell Better Sue
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and woke up this morning around 10:20 hours when Sue sent me a text message. She said that she was not feeling well and we ended up texting each other for a good 20 minutes. I then went back to sleep when we were done and then got back up at 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper. I then ate lunch while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to work on the project for the fire company chirstmas party. I worked on it for at least 4 hours and I finished it. I then emailed it to Bubba. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things on the computer. I then left the house around 18:05 hours and headed up to the fire house for the meeting tonight. The meeting was a short one tonight since Bubba was not at the meeting. After the meeting was over, myself, Troy, Jason and Lonny went down to the fire station and we sat inside and shot the shit and Troy told stories of stuff that they used to do when they were in High School. Dave and Holly then came down and the stories continued. Jason left and then Lonny left. The 4 of us continued to talk and then we all left around 22:00 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Car into a House
Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my lunch and Gatorade's together and then left the house and headed up to Eville to work at Medic 6. I got up there and I n0ticed that 6-7 and the squad were gone, but 6-3 was still sitting inside the station. I parked out back and went inside. I put my lunch and Gaotrade's in the fridge and then I clocked in. I then went out to the bay to do a rig check. When I walked into the bay's I noticed that the hood on 6-3 was open. So I went around the front of it and the battery charger was hooked up to the battery under the hood. I then went into the computer room and got on the computer and started a rig check and ate my breakfast. Jim then showed up and I told him about 6-3. He told me to try starting it and it started and then he had me park it outside and let it run for awhile. Kathy then got there as I was finishing up my rig check. Kuntz then called to let Jim know that all three of them were going down to the hospital on the call that they were on. Jim then had me and Kathy run over to the scene and pick up the squad and bring it back to the station. Once back I once again parked 6-3 out front to let it run for awhile. We then went back inside and sat down to watch some TV. I then got on the computer to check a few things and then sat back down to watch TV. The night shift crew then got back and they put 6-7 back in it's spot and then I backed 6-3 in as it had been running for quite some time now. I then watched some more TV while Don did his two charts from the accident that had over night and Dwayne and Kuntz left. Jim then came by the room and said that he was hungry and that we were going to go get something for lunch. We ended up going to the grub house and Jim and Kathy both got platters. I only got a small bag of chips to much on since I had packed a lunch and had it sitting in the fridge at the station. Once we got back they ate there lunches and I ate the one that I packed. Don was still there when we got back. He had already clocked out and he was just waiting on his wife and son to meet him so they could go eat lunch before his wife had to go to work. We then were watching some TV and then I got back on the computer. Around 13:00 hours I believe it was, the tones went off for an accident with injuries in Wiconisco. 6-5 went responding and Jim had us respond also. We up to the scene and it was a pick-up into a house. The driver was not injured and did not want to go to the hospital, even though he blacked out while he was driving and that was what caused him to crash. The guy did a good job as he really buried the front end of the trunk under the front porch of the house. I talked to one of the guys from 23 and he said that the foundation in the basement had shifted from the impact of the pick-up. We then left as we were not needed and headed back to Eville. Kathy told me we had to stop at a friends house so she could pick up her PS2 so we could play guitar hero at the station. As we were heading on our way down, Jim got hit to go to Halifax for syncope. We stopped and picked up the PS2 and then headed back to the station. We got there and got it set up and started playing her newist version "Rock the 80's". The tones then went off for a call in Upper Paxton Township. 6-5 went responding on that one and he ended up being cancelled by 20. So they decided to stop at the Eville station since Jim was out on the call with 13. Well Tindel and Matt decicded to play a few quick face off's with me before they left and headed back up to Lykens. We then contiued to play Guitar Hero. Kathy then had to take a break so she let me play by myself for a little while. Jim then said he was hungry and wanted to head up to Wal-Mart and pick up a meat lovers pizza for dinner for the 3 of us. We agreed and then left and headed up to Wal-Mart, We got the pizza and I got a bag of chi[s to go with the pizza. While we were in line paying, the tones went off for an accident with injuries in Schuylkill County. 6-5 took that call and they ended up being cancelled on the scene. The pizza was almost done when the tones went off for a fall victim in Lykens Borough. Since me and Kathy were the BLS truck for the day we ended up taking this call. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and then I drove down to Hershey Medical Center. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We stopped at Sheetz so Kathy could get some creamer and then we stopped at the Shell in Halifax and got disiel for the unit. We then stopped at 13's station and dropped off a strap that we found at Hershey Medical Center. I went in and laid it on the desk in the officer and then we headed back up through. Once we got back, I clocked our and then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Penn State Wins Again!!!
Went to bed last night around 01:30 hours and got up this morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my lunch and Gatorade together and then left the house around 07:27 hours and headed up to Eville for work. I got there and parked and went inside. Audrey and Matt were going off and Kuntz was still on duty as he was doing a 36 that he started Friday night. I then took a look at the November schedule and I saw that I had 18 shifts, but class effects 8 of them, so I have to get ahold of Steve and talk to him and explain to him what happened and see what he wants me to do. I then clocked in and did a rig check on 6-3. Dwayne was my partner and he had a function he was at all last night and hardly got any sleep. So he spent most of the day sleeping on the couch in the day room. Kuntz then woke up and told me he was running home to let his dog out and he left in the squad. Now this was around I would say 11:00 hours. The tones then went off for an Automatic Fire Alarm in Lykens Borough. Since there was no crew in Lykens, we had to go responding. I went out to the bay and got in 6-3 and turned the battery switch on and put us responding. Abount 1 minute after I went responding, county came back and said that Chief 22 was placing the box in service and that we were available. By this time it was a little after 12:00 hours. I went into the day room and turned the Penn State game on and then grabbed my lunch and ate my lunch while I watched the game. Don Deppen then showed up. He was the EMT on in Lykens and we all knew that he was coming in late due to him having a chicken bbq in the morning. He showed up and brought 4 chickens for us for dinner. Kuntz was still not back yet from running home. Kuntz finally got back around 15:00 hours. Penn State won the game beating Indiana 36-31. Again Morelli played a very good game, but I don't think that we should have allowed Indiana to score as many points as they did. I then switched to another game and Kuntz went outside to clean out his car. Around 16:30 hours the tones went off for an unconscious person in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. Kuntz left on that. I then had my chicken at 18:00 hours while I watched more college football on the TV. Don was doing some paperwork on his laptop and Dwayne was still sleeping on the couch in the day room. Kuntz then got back from his call and then he started to make dinner when the tones went off for chest pains in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. He left again and we went back to watching our football games. I clocked out around 20:08 hours and then filled out my time card amendment form and then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then just ate a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Yard Sale Rained Out
I went to bed last night around 01:00 hours and got up this morning at 05:10 hours when me alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then grabbed something quick to eat for breakfast. I then grabbed my flashlight and then got in my car and headed into Sue's house. I dropped something in the mailbox at the Post Office and then continued out to her house. I got there and parked and sent her a text message like she told me to due about 20 minutes earlier. I then got out and went up to the front door and she let me in. I said hi to Eros and then she said she was going to take the bus back to the "Barn". So we went out and got in 13-1 and then headed into the shed. She backed it in and then went back into the office to log her time in. We then got in her car and headed up to Sheetz so she could get a cup of coffee. We then headed back to her house. She parked her car out on the street and then we got in the truck and headed over to Station 29 so she could borrow 3 tables for the yard sale. We got there and loaded them up in the back of the truck and then headed back to her house. SHe parked the truck out on the street and was going to have Bob take the GTO to work and Amanda take her Z to work so that they would not be on the street where they could get hit by people coming in. I then went inside and sat down in her living room. Both Bob and Amanada were up. Sue called up to Amanda and she came half way down the steps in a robe and had a towel on her head as she has just gotten out of the shower. She then went back up to get changed. Meanwhile me and Sue were talking about where we were going to start brining stuff out of the house and where we were going to set stuff up at. Bob then came down and left in the GTO. Sue then went upstairs and changed into shorts and sneakers and then camed back down, followed by Amanda. At this point the pager went off for an unknown problem in Halifax Borough. It took Bill and Dohn quite a long time to get out on the call. The three of us were then standing in the living room talking, when we heard Dohn on the radio calling County. I told Sue, "I bet you $5 bucks that he is going to ask for a medic". Well he asked for the fire department to be dispatched for medical assistance. Amanda was debating weather or not to go on the call with 29 as she had to get on her way to work. Sue said she was going to go to the scene and I said I was also and Sue told Amanda that it would probally take only 5 minutes at the most. So all three of us decided to go. As we ran out the front door I asked Sue if she wanted me to drive and she said we could take her car. Her and Amanda got down to her car and I asked her again if she wanted me to drive as I had just realized that when she brought me home, she har a car seat and a booster seat in her back seat and the only way the three of us were going to fit in her car was if someone sat on someone's lap. Sue said yes since I had the blue light. So they ran up to my car, which was still locked and I followed behind. I unlocked the car and then unlocked the doors and quickly grabbed my fanny pack and scope and threw them on my dash. Sue got in the front passenegr's seat and Amanda got in the right rear passenger's seat. I then turned my blue light on and we took off. It was some interesting and very good driving by myself as we headed to the scene. We did not know where exactly they were and we ended up going past the Jelly Bean Junction which was where we were supposed to turn. I got turned around and went back and got to the scene. We grabbed gloves off of the unit and then Dohn came up to get a backboard and Amanda grabbed the CID's and we went into the house. The lady was upstairs in her bedroom. Bill and Dohn needed help getting her down the steep and narrow stairs on the backboard. Engine 29-1 got there and they decided to park out front as we had decided to take her out the front door. The Engine crew took the front door off of it's hinges and I moved 13-1 around front and parked it in front of the Engine. 6-5 then got there and it had Ron and Zack on. We eventually got the lady out while Amanda helped direct traffic. After they left for the hospital, we walked back up to my car and then I headed back to Sue's house. As we were heading back, it started to rain out and it did not look like it was going to stop. Once back Amanda left for work and me and Sue went inside. She did a few things around the house as we had decided that we would not be able to have the yard sale since it was raining out. Me and Sue then pulled the matteress out of the basement so we would have some working room in the basement. Sue's neighboor's then came over and with there help we put a dent in the amount of stuff that she had in her basement. We got a fair amount out and then we decided to stop so that we could go through and sort and price the stuff. By this time Kim had showed up and Sue's neighboor's left. The three of us then went through stuff and then we went through the huge pile of clothes that we had brought up and just stacked on the couch. We then went back down in the basement to go through some more stuff. Kim then had to leave and Sue had to go take a shower as she was going on at 14:00 hours. So Kim left and Sue went up to get a shower. As she got in, Bill pulled up and I went outside to talk to him since she was in the shower. I talked to him for a little bit and then the rain started to pick up again and he left as I headed inside. Sue was up on her computer as she had just gotten out of the shower. We then talked about going to get something to eat. Her neighboor then came back over and talked for a little bit and then after she left, we decided to go up to Pizza Delight and grab a few slices of pizza. We decided to take separte cars since Sue was now on duty. She had to make a quick stop at the Halifax National Bank, so she told me to just head on up to Pizza Delight awhile. Sue also invited Bill to come have a late lunch with us. So I got there and parked and then Sue showed up and we went inside and ordered awhile. I got the one special which was two slices of pizza and a drink. Bill then showed up and got the same special and the three of us ate and talked. We then all left around 16:20 hours. Me and Sue headed back to her house. When we got back there, we unloaded the tables from the back of the truck and put them in the garage, and then went back inside. Sue then got back on the computer to check a few thigns and then we sat down in the living room and talked. We then moved out to the dinning room/kitchen was she had to feed Eros. Amanda then got home and started to go through some of the things that we had set aside for her to go through. Bob then got home and then Sue had to leave to do a stand by at the football game tonight. She gave me a big hug and thanked me for all the help I gave her today and thanked me for sticking it out and being there so early, even though it rained. I then hugged Amanda goodbye and then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then had a snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Busy Day at 13
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 07:45 hours when the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there just as Dohn was pulling in. I parked and then went inside and got in 13-1 and off we went. We did not get far when county cancelled us as it turned out to be a signal 12. We turned around and went back to the station. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate breakfast and then left the house around 09:20 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got there and Bubba, Jason, Robby, Tande and Bill. They then loaded up the Engine and the Tanker. Bubba had Jason drive the Engine in and Robby drove the Tanker. Me and Bill followed behind in our vehicles. We got in there and parked and I changed shirts. The headstart kids then came out and Bubba talked to them and then we pulled some tools off for them to look at. We then took them around the trucks to look at them, when my pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Borough. I got in my car and left and headed for the shed. I got ahold of Dohn and told him to pick me up at the shed and then I changed shirts again and waited for Dohn to show up. He showed up and then we took off. We got there and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. As we were coming up to the traffic light the pager went off again for chest pains in Jackson Township. Dohn put us responding and I turned the lights on and took off. We got there and got the lady loaded in the back and then 6-5 showed up and he went down with us to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. We dropped Ron off at Sheetz and then went back to the shed. Once there I restocked the ambulance and then I logged my times in and then did the paperwork from the call. I then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate dinner. I then got on the computer to work on a project while I watched MASH on TV. I then left the house around 19:00 hours and headed into town to get my hair cut. I got my hair highlighted again and then left there around 20:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Even More Pissed off at HACC
Went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon at 12:10 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I then left the house around 17:26 hours and headed up to the fire house for bingo tonight. I got there and parked and went inside the hall. Bingo went fairly good tonight. After bingo was over, a bunch of us went down to the fire house to shot the shit. Tom then called Bubba and told him that the Essentials class were back on now starting next Tuesday, the 23rd. Naturally this could only happen after I just resubmitted my time at Medic 6 thinking that we were not going to have Mod D until the begining of next year. So now I have to see what times I got on the schedule for next month and see how many I have to drop and see if I can switch with anyone, or if I will just have to let them drop. I left the fire house around 00:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Slow Day at Home
I went to bed last night at 03:00 hours and got up this afternoon at 12:20 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then went up in the attic to bring some Halloween stuff down for my mother and then helped her put some of the stuff outside. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I ate dinner while I was on the computer. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. It has been a very slow day with not much happening at all. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Call with Sue
Went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:45 hours when the phone rang. It was Ron from Medic 6 asking for my times. I told him that I had emailed them to Steve and he said that Steve must not have fowarded them to him. I told him that I would email my times to him. I got up and got on the computer and the pager went off for a sick person in Upper Paxton Township. I got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got in there and Carol's van was parked there. I pulled in and parked and then got in 13-1 and off we went. On the way up, Sue called me and she said that she was back and she wanted me to ask Carol if she wanted to switch out in Halifax on our way back down, and Carol said that was ok. So we got up to SLV and got the lady loaded up and then headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. We stopped at Willits and Carol got out and Sue got in and then Carol took Sue's car back to the shed. We then went down to Harrisburg. After we dropped the layd off, me and Sue went upstairs so she could visit her Aunt for a few minutes to see how she is making out. We then went back down to the unit to head on home. On the way down, Carol called me and asked us where we were at and I told her we were still at the hospital and she said we had a second call. We headed on back and they went enroute to Harrisburg after we passed Camp Hebron Road. We stopped at McDonald's and both got something to eat for lunch and then Sue ran up to Community Banks to deposits checks from the garage. We then went back to the shed and we ate lunch. I then logged my time and then did the paperwork from the call. We had a problem with the printer in the station so I called Carol. Kim then showed up and I told her and she looked at it, and then Carol and Bill got back and she looked at it. We ended up just saving it until they can figure out what is wrong with it. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I got on the computer to do a few things. I am now eating dinner and then am going to take a shower. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Disappointment with HACC
I went to bed Friday night around 12:30 hours and got up Saturday morning at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my stuff together and then grabbed my lunch, suitcase, and bottle of Gatorade and then got in my car and headed up to Eville for my 24 hour shift. As I was going down Creek Road, my fire pager went off for the Tanker to go to Mifflin Township to assist Berrysburg on a barn fire. I called Bill and bitched to him again as I was once again on my way to work when the fire call came in. The Tanker went responding and then county advised that Command 26 now wanted the Tanker to transfer to Station 26. I listened to the pager the whole way up to work and then took it in with me. I got there and 6-3 was gone, which I figured with the barn fire going on. Steppler was already there, as was Jason, the new guy. I clocked in and then got on the computer to see who was all on the barn fire. I then heard Carl go available as QRS 6. I later found out that Tim was on a call with Millersburg. So Carl came back and I talked to him for a little bit and then he left. Meanwhile Bruce had shown up and we all started talking. Tommy then called Bruce and asked for the BLS truck to come relieve the Lykens MICU at the fire scene. Bruce talked to me and said that he thought about only sending two people up, that way one EMT could stay back and make a MICU with Steppler. Steppler and the Paramedic Student had left about 15 minutes earlier to go pick up Tim at Sheetz in Halifax. So Bruce called Steppler and he was ok with that. Bruce asked me if I wanted to go up since I was the fire guru and I said that was not a probolem. He said I would take the new guy up and that he would be ok to do a stand-by. S0 we got in 6-7 and headed up to Miffling Township. I told Jason that I did not know where I was going and I was stopping at 26's Station since I knew that Bubba would have been on the Tanker. I stopped and Bubba, Troy, and Ray were standing on the one hill beside the station looking down at the fire scene. I asked Bubba where it was at and he told me and then we talked for a little bit. Me and Jason then headed down that way. We came to the road Bubba said to take and it was not the name of the road that the fire was on. We got down and I saw that there were Tanker still sitting on the road beside the dump tank. I talked to a fire police and he told me that I had to go around. So I started backing up and then I saw the driver's side front door on 6-5 come open. I told Jason that I give it 2 minutes before Tommy was on the radio yelling for us to switch to our private. About 2 minutes later, Tommy told us to switch to our private number 1. So I did and called for him and got no answer. So I called again, now answer. So I called one more time and no answer. So I turned to our private number 2 and called him. No answer. So I switched back to private number 1 and called him again, no answer. So I went back to Med 9 and called for him. He then came back and told us to switch to our private channel 1 again. I switched again and called him and got no answer. After about another minute of this, I finally heard Tommy on the radio. He relayed the message that we had gone the wrong way, which I told him that we knew and he told me where rehab was set up at. I then got there and parked and went down to where rehab was set up. Naturally, I started looking in the door at the barn. I talked to everyone on the scene that I knew. They then sent Pillow, Grtaz and Millersburg home. I then saw that Engine 26 was sitting in a field and the front end looked higher up then it should. So me and Jason walked down that way and as we got closer, I could see that the rear axle was buried almost up to the tailboard. The farmer then brought his tractor over and pulled the Engine out. We then walked back up and Flap saw me and told me that we could go in service. So we loaded the rehab stuff up and then left and headed on back to the station. While we were at the scene, Steppler went to Millersburg for a call and had gone down with 20 to the hospital. Once we got back we unloaded the rehab stuff and then I parked 6-7 beside the station out front. I then went inside and Bruce was finishing up the station duties. Bruce then said that he was going to run up to some carpet place in Eville and look at carpet. He went up in his car and left me and Jason at the station. I then did the chart on the fire stand-by and then I ate lunch. Bruce then got back and so did Steppler and the paramedic student. Jason was hungry and I asked Steppler and the student if they wanted to go somewhere and eat and they said they were not hungry. Bruce said he was running back up to the carpet place now that his wife had showed up. I told him that I was going to take 6-3 and run Jason up to Subway so he could get something to eat and we would bring it back. So I ran him up there and then we came back. I then got on the computer to look at a few things and then I went out to the day room and sat down on the couch. I then turned the Penn State Game on to watch. Bruce and Jason then left at 16:30 hours to go the the stand-by at the Little Tiger's game. The game was very good. Morelli looked extremly well with his passing and the decision that he made. During halftime, we called in orders to Jo-Jo's and Steppler and the student ran up in th squad and picked the food up and brought it back so we could watch the rest of the game. Penn State slaughtered Wisconson with a final score of 38 to 7. I then left ABC on for the race. Then around 19:20 hours the tones went off for a burn victim in Halifax Township, at the top of Peter's Mountain. We moved the gear over to the MCIU and then went responding. County then said that the people did not know which trail they were on. Scott then said that the best access was off of Swamp Road and Back Road. He then had 12 dispatched incase they were closer to Route 325 which would have been on their side. Steppler had 6-5 respond also and go down 325 and meet up with 12-1. 29 also had 38 dispatched to access off of their side of the mountain. So I now changed my rotue and turned on to Enders Road and took that out to Powell's Valley Road. I accidently turned left, instead of right. I then found a road that met up with Back Road and turned on to that. We then found Swamp Road and we decided to stage down on Back Road until they brought the kid out. They eventually found him on our side and they started walking him out. About 5 minutes after they found him, they put us in service. So we left and I headed back up to Eville. I turned onto Mountain House Road and went back that way. Once back at the station I sat back down on the couch to watch TV. About 30 minutes later, the tones went off for an accident with injuries in Halifax Township in front of Sheetz. We got in 6-3 and went responding. This turned out to be another cluster fuck as PSP did not know where the accident was. They eventually found it at the intersection of South River Road and Mountain Road. We got as far as the Bible Church and fire placed us in service as PSP was taking the patient. So I turned around and went back to the station. Once back at the station I got on the computer to check a few things and the laid down on the couch around 23:00 hours and fell asleep. I woke up around 01:20 hours and turned the TV off and went to the bathroom and then laid back down on the couch. About 2 minutes later the tones went off for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. I got up and got my boots on and then got my stuff on my belt and then we got in 6-3 and took off. It was at SLV and when we got there we threw the medic's stuff in 20's unit and then went inside. As we walked in, they were brining the guy out and they put him in the unit and Steppler told me to grab his CPAP bag, which I did. They then went down to Harrisburg. I then followed them down to Giant and then turned in. I picked up a gallon of diet iced tea and then ran it home and dropped it off in the fridge upstairs. I then ran back to Sheetz and sat there and waited for 20 to get back. They got back and I helped Steppler move his gear over and then we headed back to Eville. Once back it was round 04:30 hours and I laid back down on the couch and went to sleep. I then got up at around 07:10 hours and went to the bathroom and decided to stay up. I then got my jacket and scope out of the unit and then got my stuff together and took it out to my car. I then emptied the trash cans and Steppler took the trash out. I then got on the computer to check on a few things. Tim them showed up, followed by Carl and then Eric. I then clocked out and headed on home. Once at home my mother told me how the bus trip they went on yesterday went and I told her how my day went. I then took a shower and then went back to bed to try and get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 14:00 hours. I got up and read the paper. While I was reading the paper, Bubba called and told me that he had just talked to Tom Pottiger and the Mod D class is now postponed until the begining of next year, since HACC is screwing around and not confirming dates or if we will have a classroom. Once I finished reading the paper, I got on the computer to do a few things. I then made and ate dinner while I was on the computer. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Slow 24 Hour Shift at Medic 6
I left the house Thursday night around 19:30 hours and headed up to Lykens for work. I stopped at the Tower Sales in Lykens and got a small bottle of chocolate milk. I then went to the Lykens Station and parked and took m y stuff inside. Bruce was sitting on the couch watching TV and Wertz was on the computer and his son was there also. Bruce told me about my truck and then he clocked out and left. I then did a rig check and then sat down on the couch to watch some TV. Flipper then called up and asked us if we were going to do anything for dinner. I told him that I had already eaten before I came up and Wertz said he ate at 18:00 hours. Flipper then wanted to talk to Wertz so I put him on the phone. While they were talking, the Eville crew got hit for a call in Herndon in Northumberland County. Wertz then had to drop his son off at his house in Lykens and he also had to go to the ATM at Koppy's in Eville. I told him that I wanted to stop at the Eville station as I needed to grab pager batteries to take up to Lykens. So we dropped his son off and then stopped at Koppy's and then ran down to the Eville Station. We decided to sit at the Eville station until we heard with 6-3 was going to do. Wertz sat down to watch TV and I got on the computer to check a few things. I then heard 6-3 go avaiable and told Wertz and then we left and headed back up to Lykens. Once back at Lykens I got on the computer up there to continue what I was reading down at Eville and Wertz watched TV. I then laid down on the couch around 23:00 hours and Wertz got on the computer. I slept very good all night, I think I only woke up twice and went to the bathroom. After I got up the last time to go to the bathroom, I laid back down on the couch and I believe like maybe 20 minutes later, around I would say 06:30 hours, the tones went off for a diabetic problem in Wiconisco. I got up and got my boots on and then got all my stuff back on my belt and then went out and got in 6-5 and put us responding. Scott then came out from the bathroom and got in and off we went. We got there and went inside and Wertz checked the guys blood sugare and he ended up giving him some Dextrose. The guy did not go down to the hospital and after we were done there, we headed back to the station. Once back at the station I help Wertz restock and then I got my stuff together and took it out to my car. I then sat down on the couch and ate breakfast while I watched some TV. Jim then came in, followed by Tommy. I then got the rest of my stuff together and then left and headed on down to Eville for my daylight shift. I got down there and Steve was just pulling in. I parked and took my stuff inside. Tim and Carl were already there and Carl was doing his rig check. I then got on the computer to do a few things. Me and Carl then headed up to CVS around 10:00 hours so that I could get my flu shot. Carl decided to get one also and then he did a little shopping there and also at Wal-Mart. We then headed back to the station. We were not back there long when Tim and Steve said that they were heading up to the Subway at Wal-Mart to get lunch. Me and Carl then talked about what we wanted to do and we decided to go to Subway also, except we went to the roon in the square of Eville. I got a personnel pan pizza and we took our lunch back to the station to eat. After we were done eating, we both got back on the computers to check a few things out. We then sat down to watch "Full Metal Jacket", the new DVD that Carl got at Wal-Mart. Tommy and Jim them came in to annoy us while we tired to watch the movie. After the moive was over, and Tommy and Jim had left, I swept the carpet, while Carl swept the tile floor and Tim emptied the trash. We then decided to go over to the Gratz Mall and pick up some steak's for dinner. I drove 6-3 this time and Carl rode shotgun and Tim had the squad. We picked up three steaks and then stopped at Koppy's and I picked up a soda and some microwave french fries and then we headed back to the station. Once back at the station, Carl put the steaks on the grill and I made my french fries. I will tell you what, the steak was very, very good. Tim and Carl then set up Tim's projector and laptop and they put a sheet on the wall behind the TV and we watched "Evan Almighty". I then clocked out once the movie was over and got my stuff together and headed on home. I stopped at Koppy's and got 3 of the Penn State PEZ Dispenser's that they were selling there. One of them was for my father, it was his birthday gift, His birthday is tomorrow and I gave his gift and card to him tonight since I will not see him tomorrow. I am getting ready to take a shower and then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Fire Prevention
I went to bingo last night around 18:00 hours. Bingo went good, we had 29 people play bingo. After bingo was over, we sat around and talked. I left there around 22:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I saw that Sue had left me a few messages on my AIM that she needed someone to talk to. I gave her a call on her cell phone and we talked for a little over 1 hour before I feel asleep on the bed talking to her. I woke up about 10 minutes later and then finished my stuff online and then went to sleep around 02:00 hours. I got up this morning at 08:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got up and changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast and read part of the paper. I then left the house around 09:07 hours and headed up to the fire house. When I pulled in Robby, Tande, LeeAnn, Jason, Bill, House and Michelle were already there and Jean pulled in behind me. I went inside the station and grabbed my gear and put it in the back of the Utility. Lyle then showed up and then all we were waiting on were Bubba and Robin. They showed up and Jason put his gear in the back of the Utility and so did Lyle. Lyle drove the Engine with Bubba up front and House, LeeAnn amd Robin in the back. It was me and Jason in the Utility and Robby and Tande in the Tanker. Bill, Jean and Michelle drove over themselves. Since it was raining out, we had to do the program inside the multi-purpose room. So Bubba had us pull the rigs around back, with them facing the building. Everyone then took their gear inside except for me, since I was going to pack up. They then took a few tools inside to show the kids while I geared up and then House and Jason helped me get my pack on. I then waited outside until they motioned for me to come in. I then went and walked around so the first greaders could see me and then Bubba said I could take it off. House and Jason then helped me get the pack off and then I stood and listened to Bubba and Jean talk some more. It then had stopped raining long enough for us to take the kids outside to see the trucks, However after we got most of them outside, it started to rain again, so we hurried them around so we could get them back inside. They then cleared out and then we put everything back on the trucks since the kids needed to eat lunch in the room. We then decided to go over to Gunder's Grub House for lunch. Jason said that he forget his wallet and I told him that I would run him back to the fire house. I called Bubba and told him that we would be up after I ran Jason back for his wallet. Once at the fire house, Jason told me that he had to run home and grab his wallet and he would be back. I told him I would wait for him. He got back and we then ran up to Gonder's and ate lunch. We then headed back over to the Elementary School and parked out back again. The kids were still eating lunch when we got there, so we waited outside and me, Jason, Robby, Lyle, House and Jean talked about stuff that had changed at the school since we had gone there. We then did the second program at 13:30 hours and it was the Kindergardener's. I again packed up and went inside and walked around. Lyle had helped me get my pack on and House helped me take it off. I then switched the cylinder out with a new one and the put the pack away and went back inside. We then brought the kids out for them to look at the trucks and then Bubba had Bill take a group picture of the kids in front of the trucks. They then left and we packed everything up and then headed back to the station. Bill, House, Jason, and Lyle all left as soon as they got back as Jason and Lyle had to work tonight and House had to get home and Bill ran him home. Me, Robby, Tande and LeeAnn then sat around and shot the shit and waited for Bubba to come back up. He came back up and we shot the shit some more and then I left and headed on home. I just finished eating dinner and am getting ready to take a shower and then head up to Medic 6 to work a reverse 24 hour shift.

Pottsville Good Sam
Went to bed Monday night at 01:30 hours and got up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my suitcase together and then my lunch and Gatorade. I then left the house around 07:25 hours and headed up to Eville to work a 24 hour shift. I got there and parked and went inside. Bowser was already there and Yeager was getting his things together to leave when 08:00 hours came. John then got there around 08:00 hours. I did a rig check on 6-3 and then we cleaned up the station since they were having a Grant meeting at the station. Bowser then went out on a call in Norrthumberland County. Me and John then decided to sweep out and wipe down the cab of 6-3 as it did not look the greatest. Bowser then got back and then the three of us went up to Wal-Mart to get lunch at Subway. Kathy met us there and then we ate lunch and then headed back to the station. We were not there that long when I heard fire tones on the scanner. I went into the day room to hear who in the upper part of the county was getting a call. It was in Pillow for a fire reported out and with a burn victim. I went into John and Bowser and asked them if we covered Pillow and they said yes and asked why and I told them and Bowser said that he would be going. A few minutes later the tones went off for the burn victim in Pillow Borough. I had also heard Northumberland County dispatching Dalmatia Ambulance on the call. Bowser and Steve got in 6-1 and took off and me and John got in 6-3 and followed them incase 62 did not get out. We then heard them go responding and decided to turn around. We headed back to the station. Once back at the station we both went up front and talked with Wendy. John had gone back to the day room and then came back up front and told me to come on as we were going to be getting a call. The tones then went off for a Psychatric Problem in Mifflin Township. Steve and Bowser decided to head oer that way since they had already cleared the call in Pillow as they flew the guy out. Me and John got in 6-3 and took off. It ended up being a refusal and then we headed back to the station. Once back at the station, I did the chart for the refusal and then did a few things on the computer. John then came on and told me to come on as we had to head up to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for Bowser to make dinner. So we ran up to Wal-Mart and picked up the stuff and then headed back to the station. Bowser made meatballs for meatball subs and I had two of them. John then changed the light bulb on 6-3 and then we kind of sat around and we all took naps. I then got on the computer around 19:45 hours to play some computer games. Ron who was the Lykens medic left to go home sick and Bowser could not find anyone to work up there with Audrey, so he had her come down to Eville and her and me were going to make up a BLS truck and he was going to run out of the squad. I then laid down on the couch around 23:30 hours and slept all through the night as we did not have any calls. I woke up around 07:20 hours and went to the bathroom and then laid down on the couch to rest some more, but not necessarly sleep. At 07:31 hours, I heard the fire tones on the scanner, as we got dispatched for an AFA on Rettinger Road. Naturally I was upset somewhat as I was once again missing another fire call, but it was only for an AFA, so I was not as upset. I was getting ready to take my stuff out to my car when the tones went off for breathing problems in Lykens Township. I told Audrey that I would take the call since I did not have to work at 13 today. I went out to the bay and pulled the ALS gear off fo the squad and threw it on 6-3 and then me and Bowser took off. We got there and got the guy loaded up and then I drove Class 1 to Pottsville Good Sam. We got up there and we got the guy out and took him in. Bowser had put him on CPAP so we had to get the guy out and get him inside, so I did not bother to turn the battery switch off. When we came back out 20 minutes later, the dome lights in the back of the unit were flashing and Bowser told me to go start the truck. Well when I tried to start it, it did not turn over, we had drained the battery. Security ended up jump starting us and then we headed on home. I went home by the way of Williamstown, but I went up to the hospital by the way of Gratz. Once back at the station I picked up my two white shirts, clocked out and headed on home. I got home around 11:30 hours and then took a shower and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I then have bingo tonight and then will be back on after bingo.

Kissing the Pussy
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then ate breakfast. Me and my mother then got in her car and headed on down to Harrisburg for our doctor appointments. We got down there and then after we were done, we did a little shopping. We first went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and then went over to Costco and got quite a few things. We then headed on home. We then stopped at Rite Aid so my mother could drop off her perscriptions to be filled. I then got 4 cards for some upcoming occasions. We then headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then I got on the computer to do a few things. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things on the computer. I then left the house around 17:35 hours and headed up to the fire house for the meeting. A bunch of us sat down in the fire house and shot the shit until the meeting started. The meeting did not go as long as some of us thought it would. Afterwards, we all went down to the fire house and shot the shit some more. I left the fire house around 22:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Busy 48 Hour Shift at Medic 6
Went to bed Thursday night around 01:30 hours and got up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my suitcase together and then got my lunch's and breakfast's together. I then left the house at 07:30 hours and headed up to Eville. I got there and saw that 6-3 was not in the bay, so I knew that Zach and Ron were already out on a call. Tim was already there and doing his med checks. I quickly checked the schedule and I saw that they had moved my nighttime shift down to Eville for Friday night, so I was doing my full 48 hour shift at the Eville Station. I then went back out to the car and grabbed my lunch box and my suitcase and brought them both back in. I then decided to pu0ll 6-7 around front for me and Tim to use until 6-3 got back. I then did a quick rig check on 6-7 to make sure we had the bare essentials on the truck. I then went in and checked a few other things on the schedule. Zach then came back with 6-3 since Ron had gone with 62 to the hospital. I the put 6-7 back in the stall out back and then did my rig check on 6-3. I then went back inside and got on the computer to check a few things off my own and then went out to the day room and watched some TV. Tim then said about going over to the Gratz market to get some ingridents for dinner. So we ran over there and came back. Once back I decided to wash 6-3 since we would be taking that down to 29's open house on Saturday. I went ahead and washed the unit and then backed it in. 10 minutes after I had backed the unit in, the tones went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough. Me and Tim got in 6-3 and we took off with me driving. We got there and he ended up going down with 20 to the hospital. I then headed on down to Halifax to wait for him. I stopped at the "Barn" and picked up my check and then decided to see if Sue was home. I drove by her house and she was not home so I decided to go to Community Banks and cash my check from 13 and then I went to Sheetz and sat there and waited for Tim to get back. While I was sitting there the tones went off for a Diabetic Problem at Wal-Mart. Carl and Tindel took that call and it ended up being a refusal. The tones then went off again for an accident with injuries in Mifflin Township. Carl and Tindel again took that call and again it ended up begin a refusal. Tim finally made it back and then we headed back up to Eville. I told him that I had to swing by my house real quick to drop off my money. So I stopped at the house and ran my money back to my bedroom, said a few quick words to my parents and then got back in 6-3 and went back up to the station. We got there and Tim started cooking the bar-b-que and then we both got on the computer to do a few things. We then ate and then I called up to Lykens to see why they did not come down to eat. I talked to Carl and I said to him that it had been a quiet day. I now know not to say the "Q" word when I am working at Medic 6. Needless to say that night was not the greatest. I believe it was around 00:30 hours the tones went off for a call in Lykens Township that he Lykens crew took. Then around 01:00 hours, the tones went off for a fall victim in Washington Township at Wal-Mart. I got up and got my boots on and then got my stuff back on my belt and then me and Tim got in 6-3 and off we went. We got there and got the guy on a backboard and then I drove down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. I forgot to mention that shortly before we got our call to Wal-Mart the Lykens crew got another call that they went to to the hospital with. Once back at the station, I laid back down on the couch to try and get some more sleep. I forget what time it was, but the tones went off again for a call in Lykens Township. The Lykens crew took that call and I went back to sleep. The tones then went off again around 06:30 hours for a sick person in Millersburg Borough at the Polk Apartments. They were calling for either 20, 12, or us. Tim came out and woke me up and I told him that 13 would be getting out as I knew they had a crew. However I got up and got my boots on and then I heard Sue go responding. I then took my boots off and laid back down on the couch to get some sleep. About 10 minutes later, the tones went off for the Polk call, as it was now upgraded to chest pains. I got back up and got my boots on and then me and Tim got in 6-3 and took off. We got there and Tim ended up releasing her to BLS and Sue and Dohn took her down to the hospital and then we headed on back to the station. Steppler, Don and Jim were there when we got back. Steppler finished his med checks and Don pulled 6-7 around front since the Lykens crew was out on yet another call. Jim then went with Don and we took both units down to Special Place to eat breakfast. We then headed back to the station and then Jim and Don headed on up to Lykens since Carl and Tindel had gotten back. We then did station duties around the station. I emptied the trash and swept the carpet, while Steppler washed the bays out. We were just talking about getting ready to leave to head on down to 29's station for the open house when the tones went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough at Polk Assisted Living. I ran him down there and he got on 20's unit and went down to Harrisburg Hospital. I then ran back to the station to pick something up for Steppler and the Lykens truck was sitting there. I grabbed what Steppler wanted and then asked Don if they were heading back up to Lykens and he said no that they were getting ready to head on down to Halifax. I then left and headed on down there and once there I backed into the one bay. I was hungry, so I headed on in and got a hot dog and something to drink. I then talked to Amanda and Sue and a few other people. I was then in the meeting room talking to Tom when the pager went off for an accident with injuries in Washington Township. Jim and Dohn left in a hurry as the accident involved ejection. They ended up flying the lady out. Stepplper then got back and we decided to head back up to Eville since Jim was on the accident. We said out goodbyes and then headed back up to Eville. We got there and the Lykens crew was restocking and then they left. Steppler then took a nap and I did a few things on the computer. The tones then went off for a pregancy in Lykens Borough and the Lykens crew took that call. Steppler then started showing me the pictures of his patch collection. The tones then went off for abdominal pains in Upper Paxton Township at SLV. We went responding and we ended up handling the call. I teched in the back and we took the guy down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back to the station. We stopped at Sheetz so we could both get something to eat. We then went back to the station. Once back at the station, I did my chart and then decided to lay down on the couch and watch the movie that Steppler had on. I took my boots off around 23:00 hours. Around 23:20 hours the pager went off for a fall victim in Elizabethville Borough. I got my boot on and got in the unit and we went to the scene. We got the lady loaded up and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were on our way down, the Lykens Crew took a call in Halifax for a diabetic problem, that ended up being a refusal. Once back at the station, I laid down on the couch to get some sleep. We got to sleep for a little bit and then the tones went off for a call in Northumberland County. We got up and went responding and then looked at the map and then we started on our way. After we finished chasing 62 around Herndon, I dropped Steppler off and then headed back to 62's station to wait for him. They got back and we moved the gear over and then headed back to the station. Once back at the station, we both laid down to try and get some more sleep. About 30 minutes later the tones went off again, but we had no voice. We ran out to the unit and called Northumberland County and asked them if they had a call pending for us and they said no. We figured out that it was the tones letting us know that 62 had a call. So we went back to sleep. I then woke up at 07:30 hours when Steppler woke me up. I then took care of the trash and took my stuff out to my car. I clocked out and filled out my time card and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then crashed in bed to get some sleep. I had my mother wake me up at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed, changed into street clothes and then headed up to the fire house for Boyd's Bear Bingo. I called the whole game, which I never have a problem doing. I then just stayed up there since we had Con-Ed Class tonight after bingo. After class I then went down to the station to help Robby and Bubba with putting Robby's lightbar on his truck. I then left there around 21:30 hours and headed on home. I am soon going to bed as I am tired.

The Start of Fire Prevention
Went to bed last night at 02:00 hours and woke up this morning at 08:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate a few pieces of toast and then started to read the paper. I left the house at 09:10 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and parked and went inside the fire house and turned on the lights. Bill then showed up followed by Bubba. Bubba asked me if I was able to put a pack on and I said that would not be a problem. Bubba then moved the Tanker to the front of the hall and he had me move the Engine up front also. I then went back down to the station and grabbed my gear, plus his helmet and a black helmet and threw it in the Utility. I then moved it around in front of the Utility. I then took my gear inside plus the two helmets. Bubba had opened all the compartments on the Tanker and I did the same to the Engine and Bill opened up the compartments on the Utility. He then grabbed the flat shovel, Hooligan Bar, and the Flat and Pickhead axe's off of the Utility. He then grabbed the Multi-Purpose Hook off of the Engine and took them inside the hall and laid them on the table. Bubba then had me bring an SCBA in and lay it on the table. The group from the Pre-School them came up to the hall. There were 12 kids in all. Bubba talked to them about what to do incase their house would catch on fire. He also talked to them about "Stop, Drop and Roll" He then showed them a few of the tools that we would use on a fire scene. He then had me get into my gear and he me put the SCBA on to let the kids see what a firefighter looks and sounds like with the SCBA on. I then got out of my gear and then we took the kids outside to show them the apparatus. We then let them walk through the Engine and the Utility and then we showed them some things on the Tanker. Bill then took a group shot of us and then the kids went back down to the church. We then put the equipment away and Bubba put the Tanker away and then I put the Utility away and then Bubba brought the Engine down and put it away. We then sat and talked for a little bit and then we both headed on home. Once at home I finished reading the paper. I then got on the computer and copied the pictures off of the CD's that Bill gave me. I then ate lunch while I renamed all of the pictures and then put pics up on the website and upload some to my myspace. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things on the computer. I am now getting ready to take a shower and then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
Bingo Once Again
Went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this afternoon around 13:10 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then read the paper and watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things. I then made and ate dinner while I was on the computer. I then left the house at 17:15 hours and headed up to the fire house for bingo tonight. I got there and Bubba, Robin, and Anggie were already there. I went into the station and talked to Bubba for a little bit and then we both headed up to the hall. I got things ready and then Bill showed up to do the tickets. We had 23 players for the night, which is pretty good, but we would like to have more. I played the rip off tickets and did not get any holders. Jess won multiple times at bingo tonight so I was happy for her. Her and me talked during the first half while Bubba called and then I called the second half. After bingo was over, we put the stuff away and emptied the trash. Bubba then moved the Tanker and I backed the Utility in and then he backed the Tanker and then we all left. I headed home and once at home took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I wll be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Almost!
Went to bed last night at 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 11:40 hours when the pager went off for a pregancey in Halifax Borough at Willit's Shoe Company. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed to Dohn's house. I got there and parked and then got in 13-2 and off we went. Carol went to the scene and when we got there we got the lady loaded up. We put 6-5 in service and then I drove down to Harrisburg Hospital. We got there and took the lady up to Labor and Delivery. About three minutes after we moved her over to the bed in the room, she gave birth to a baby girl. We then got what we needed and headed on back. I dropped Carol off at her vehicle and then we headed back to the "Barn". Once there I logged my time in and then helped restock the unit and then I ran back out to Dohn's house and picked up my car. I then ran into Sheetz and got gas and something to eat for lunch and then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do a few things. My father then came home and then him and me left at 18:00 hours and headed up to Millersburg to eat dinner at the Wooden Nickle. I had two cheeseburgers and fries. Sue went on at 14:00 hours when I had gone off and not long after she had gone on, she got a call for a fall victim in Halifax Township. Then Bill told me that around 18:41 hours they had a call in Halifax Township for an accident with injuries and ejection. They flew both people out by Life Lion to Hershey. I then had the fire pager open and heard 29 get dispatched to the high school to assist EMS with a neck injury. They had a sccoer player that had a neck injury that they took down to the hospital. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Quiet 24 Hour Shift in Lykens
I went to bed Saturday night at 02:00 hours and got up at 07:00 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed in my uniform and then packed my lunch and got my suitcase together. I then grabbed my three bottles of Gatorade and then got in my car and headed up to Lykens around 07:25 hours. I got up there and parked and went inside. John and Don Kuntz were sleeping on the couch's. I quietly put my lunch and Gatorade bottles in the fridge and set my suitcase down. I then clocked in and got on the computer to print out my rig check sheet. John then woke up, followed by Don. Don then had me call down to Jim in Eville. Jim told me to tell Don to come down to Eville first and then Jim would leave and head up to Lykens. Don logged his meds and then gather his things together and then left in his car to head on down to Eville. About 5 minutes after Don left, the tones went off for breathing problems in Schuylkill County. Jim called up to Lykens and asked if Don had left already and I said yes. Jim said he would go in the squad. I then did my rig check on then got on the computer to check a few things. Tommy then called up to Lykens and told me to come down to Eville and him and me would make up a BLS truck until Jim got back, that way we could keep Don available. I then got in 6-5 and headed on down to Eville. I got there and parked 6-5 out front and then Tommy said to get in 6-3 as he wanted to go get something to eat for breakfast. We went up to McDonald's and I got a sausage biscut, hash brown and a large oragne juice. We then headed back to Eville and we did a few things around the station and then I got on the computer to do a few things. Jim then got back and I told him I needed to get fuel for 6-5. He gave me his pin number and I stopped at the Shell in Eville and got fuel. I then headed back up to the Lykens Station. Jim then got in and said he wanted to go to Tower Sales to get something to drink and eat. He then wanted to run over to Don's Food Rite to get something to eat for lunch. We then headed back to the station. Once back, I ate lunch and read the Sunday paper that Jim had brought in. I then sat down and watched the race. Sometime in the afternoon, the tones went off for an accident with injuries in Reed Township. 6-3 went responding and Jim wanted to head on down through as the second due medic to assist. So he drove 6-5 while I rode shotgun. We got as far as Loyalton, when both units were placed in service. So we turned around and headed back to the station. Once there I went back to watching the race. All I did was watch the race for the rest of the afternoon and into the early evening. It was rain delayed twice for a total of 3 hours. They finally got it restarted and had to shorten the race since the track did not have lights. Greg Biffle ended up winning the shortened race. Wertz then came in as the night medic with me. He had already gotten something to eat from Dairy Queen, I told him I was going to take 6-5 and run over to Dairy Queen and grab something to eat and come back to the station. So I ran over and got some chicken strips, fries and a drink and then headed back to the station. I backed 6-5 in and then went inside and ate dinner while we watched TV. I then got on the computer again around 23:00 hours to check a few things and then laid down on the couch around 00:05 hours. I got up around 01:50 hours to go to the bathroom and I had just laid back down on the couch and started to drift off to sleep, when the tones went off for chest pains in the Borough of Williamstown. I got up and got my boots on and my things back on my belt, while Wertz went to the restroom. I then got in 6-5 and started it up and put us responding. We then ran up to Williamstown. We got there and the EMT placed Wertz in service. We then headed back to the station and I laid back down and went back to sleep. Around 04:10 hours the tones went off for a fall victim in Mifflin Township. It ended up being in Jackson Township, and county thought the address was in Mifflin Township. Then at 07:02 hours this morning, I sat straight up on the couch when I heard the fire tones drop for an accident with injuries in Jackson Township. I laid back down on the couch and listened to the fire scanner to hear what I was missing. They ended up being all done by the time I made my way down through. Jim and John came in then around 07:50 hours to relieve both me and Wertz. I clocked out and then we talked for a little bit and then I made my way home. Once at home, I went back to bed to try and get a little bit more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 13:05 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper while I watched All My Children on TV. I then got on the computer to do a few things and to type up my two articles for the county convention book. I then made and ate dinner while I was on the computer and watching MASH on TV. I am now getting ready to take a shower and then am going to check the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
