Natural Cover Fire in the Afternoon

I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and was rocked out of bed around 08:30 hours when the pager went off for a call in Upper Paxton Township at SLV for either 20 or us. 20 got out right away and we were placed in service. I reset the pager and went back to bed. About 5 minutes later the pager went off again for a fall victim in Halifax Borough at the Boyer Apartments. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and pulled in behind Dohn and then we both got in 13-2 nad off we went. We got there and the lady only needed help getting back up. Once we helped her back up we got a refusal and then headed back to the shed. Once there I logged my time and then left and headed up to Sheetz to get gas. Once I got gas I headed on home. I decided to stop at the fire house and to my gear checks on the med bags and first aid kits in the trucks and the AED in the Engine. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate lunch. My mother then came home and said that my father checked the septic tank this morning and noticed that it looked high, so my mother had called the septic tank guy and he said that he would be out at sometime today to take a look at it. I then got on the computer to work on my letter to Health America. At 14:04 hours the fire pager went off for a natural cover fire in Jackson Township. I quickly called Carol and asked her if she could cover for me while I went on this fire call and she said yes. So I quickly changed out of my uniform and into street clothes and then grabed my fire pager, wallet and cell phone and got in my car and headed up to the fire house. The Engine went responding about a minute after the dispatch, so I called Bubba and asked him if he wanted me to bring the Utility and he said yes. So I got to the fire house and parked just as Schoffstall was pulling in. I ran inside and kicked my shoes off and he came running in. As he ran around me I told him to pop the Engine bay door. I got my bunker pants on and then grabbed my jacket and helmet and then unplugged the Utility and got in. Jason then came in and grabbed his gear and threw it in the Tanker and then I started the Utility and pulled that out and Schoffstall shut the Engine bay door and then I followed the Tanker out to the scene. Bubba had reported having a column about a half a mile out and asked for two additional brush trucks and an additional tanker. We got there and parked behind and partially beside the Engine. Bubba then told me to get the Indian Rakes out. I jumped in the back and started pulling the handles out and Schoffstall and Troy grabbed the heads out of the side compartment. I then got my jacket and helmet on and grabbed a rake. Schoffstall was getting back in the Utility to get an Indian Tank out. I headed up into the woods awhile. Scott was already up there along with Troy and Warren. Me, Troy, and Scott started working on creating a fire line to prevent it from spreading any more. Brush 29 then came up on the access road and then Sherm grabbed the leaf blower off of the Brush and started using that to create a fire line and the brush started to wet stuff down. When they ran out of water, Brush 26 had shown up and they came in and took over for Brush 29 while they went and got refilled. Once they were refilled they came down to the lower end and started wetting stuff down there. We were there for a little over 1-1/2 hours and then the box was placed in service and we headed back to the station. Once there we cleaned the rakes up and refilled the Indian Tanks and then myself, Schoffstall, Troy, Robby and Jason sat around and shot the shit. I left there around 18:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and finished my letter. I then took a shower and am soon going to be going to bed as I am tired.
