No Calls During Stand-By
I went to bed Friday night around 01:00 hours and got up at 06:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed. Once my father finished getting ready, we left the house around 06:40 hours and headed up to the fire house. We got there and LeeAnn was the only person there so far. I went up to Kenny's house and got him up. Bubba then came up, then Troy, then Kenny came down and then Robby and Tandee. We then figured out who was going with who and we loaded our gear into each truck. Kenny and Bubba went with Robby and Tandee. Myself, my father and LeeAnn went with Troy. We left the station around 07:00 hours and headed on into town. We stopped at Shell so both Robby and Troy could get fuel. Then we turned around and went back to Denny's Lennies for breakfast. I had 2 pancakes, a side order of back on and a side order of white toast. Once we were done, we headed on down to Upper Frankford Fire Company. Once we got on the highway, Robby took off and we never caught up with him. When we got to the station, they were all sitting outside of the station and all the doors were down. We got there and unloaded our gear and Bubba said that the Chief was not there yet. He finally showed up and opened the station up and we got to see the new engine they got last Friday. It is a very nice engine. He then took the new engine to the super raffle and we setteled in. I looked at the two photo albums in the day room while a few of the others watched TV and the others took a nap. When Bubba woke up he said to me about pulling their old engine out that they have for sale so I could take pictures of it and all the compartments. I rode on the tailboard as it had one of those buzzers on the back that signals the person in the cab. We then backed it in and then we ate lunch. They had gotten us a meat and cheese tray, and chips. I had 4 ham and cheese sandwichs with chips. Robby then hooked up their Wii and we played then until we ate dinner around 19:20 hours. That was really fun. We played bowling first, then racing, then baseball, boxing, golf, and then a game called carnival games. Sometime in there we ordered dinner. I had a 12 inch cheese pizza and a large order of fires. Also during lunch it started to pour down rain, and that lasted for about 1 hour then it stopped, and then it got hot out. After lunch I moved the portable fan from the kitchen up into the day room since there was no air conditioning in the day room. Bubba also had me take pictures of the kitchen and then funnel cake building. We could not find the key for the kitchen in the pavillion outside. We then pulled the one engine out so we could get out picture taken in front of it for the website. They then got back around 20:45 hours. We got a few more pictures of the new engine and the chief showed us the light tower and deck gun. We then loaded our gear up and headed on back to the station. We got back around 22:30 hours and we put our gear inside and then everybody left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and decided to lay down on my bed until 23:00 hours and then I was going to download the pictures from my camera. Well I ended up falling alseep and woke up when my mother came in and woke me up. She had already taken my glasses off and put them away. I then went to bed around midnight. I got up this morning around 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then watched the race from New Hampshire Raceway. Kurt Busch won under a rain delay as they called hte race with 18 laps to go due to the rain. I then ate dinner while I did a few things online. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

More Engine Driver
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and woke up this morning at 10:18 hours when my mother call the house like I asked her to. I got up and changed into street clothes. I the had something small to eat while I read the paper. I then left the house around 10:37 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got there and parked and went inside and the Tanker was gone. I called Bubba and asked him where he was at and he said that he was at Gonder's Grub House and asked me if I wanted anything to drink and I told him no thanks that I was ok. He then said that he ran the Tanker up to Swab's so they could take some pictures. Once he got back he put his gear on the Tanker. He then told me to put the pipe on the Engine as I would be taking that. So I put that on and then put my gear on the Engine also. He then showed me the paperwork he made up for the township meeting next Wednesday that he has to present regarding the grant we got for the squad. We then left to fill the first pool. We got there and I pulled in behind Bubba. We used all three sections of hose. Two to get to the pool and one from the Engine to the Tanker. When we finished they only need an Engine load. So Bubba helped me get out of the driveway and then sent me into the pump house. He then headed up to Shell to get fuel and said he would be out then. So I got to the pump house and hooked up and wrote everything down. Once I was done I back around so Bubba could pull in when he got there. Once he got there I helped him get hooked up and then we headed back to the station. Once there we dropped off the Tanker and then I put his gear on the Engine and then we headed back to the first pool. He had me run the pump and once we were done there, we headed back to the pump house to fill up. We then headed back to the station. Once there I pulled the Utility out so we could go over to Small Valley Road to look at a brush pile some lady wanted us to burn. While we were at the station, we got a call for another Engine load of water on Mountain House Road. We then headed over to Small Valley Road. Once we got there and saw where the brush pile was at, Bubba said we would not be able to do it, because of it being near woods and lots of leaves on the ground. We headed back to the station and I put the Utility away. We then got back in the Engine and headed out to this place on Mountain House Road and topped off their pool. We then headed back into the pump house to fill up. As we were heading in, it started to rain and then it started to pour. After we got filled up, we headed up to Millersburg. We went to Rife and topped off a pool there. While we were there, the tones went off for a lighting strike in Wayne Township. We got cancelled right away. We then headed into Eville and stopped at Shell and got fuel and then we headed into the pump house to fill up and then headed back to the station. Once there I got Kenny to help me unload the hose from the Engine and put it under the hose rack in the station. I then put my gear away and then headed on home to change. I then headed into town. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then went to Giant and got hot dogs and hamburgers for tonight. I then stopped at The Nook and got a six pack of Coors Light and then headed out to the fire house. Once there I put a pack of hot dogs on the rollers and made the burgers on Bubba's grill out front of the hall. It ended up being myself, Jess, Bubba, Robin, Troy, LeeAnn, Schoffstall, Katina, Angie, and the associated kids. Myself, Katina and Schoffstall played hand and foot while the others played another card game. We finished up around 23:30 hours and I left around 23:45 hours and headed on home. I am going to grab a quick shower and then am going to bed as I have to get up early tomorrow.

Fireworks Injuries
I went to bed Tuesday night around 02:00 hours and I got up at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off Wednesday morning. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my camera and suitcase and took them out to the kicthen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together. I then left the house around 07:30 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I got there and Bruce was already there. I got out and we both went inside. I put my lunch box and Gatorade bottles in the fridge. I then clocked in and myself and Bruce did a rig check on 6-4. Tim then came in and then Steve came in. Tindell and Stutzman were the overnight crew. Tindell slept until almost 08:30 hours and then finally got up. The five of us then talked some. When I looked at the schedule, I noticed that Tommy was not coming in till 11:00 hours in Lykens. We called up to Lykens and Kathy said that Yeager was going to stay till 11:00 hours, because he then head to go testify at a deposition regarding a call in Dalmatia. Apparently someone is sueing Dalmatia Ambulance and one of their crew members. It was a very slow day. We left around 09:15 hours and headed up to Special Place to meet the Lykens crew to have breakfast. I had a side order of bacon and a side order of white toast. While we were there, I heard that the Lykens station was struck by lighting Monday night during the storms we had and that it had knocked out the internet to the whole building, and we think it might have fried the computer tower. The tones then went off for a hay field fire in Washington Township. We got in 6-4 and off we went. We pulled up just as Engine 21 was pulling up to the scene. You could see the column for about 1-1/2 miles out. It was hard for me to just stand there and not pull a line off of Engine 21 and head up into the field. After they got it knocked down, we talked to Mike Wertz and we went available on the scene. About 10 minutes later the tones went off for a fall victim in Washington Township. We went enroute. Once we got to the scene we got the lady loaded and took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the station, I ate lunch. The tones then went off for breathing problems in Millersburg Borough. He took off. Tommy and Steve then headed up to Wal-Mart and bought meat to make hamburgers and they made cheeseburgers on the grill. Kathy and Tommy stayed down at Eville the whole day since they did not have any internet access up at Lykens. I had three cheeseburgers. Tim then got back and then Boyer had me set up the laptop and projector for con-ed. He then had me pull 6-4 out back and we played around with the wrench and fat stretcher. After Jim and Zack showed up (the only other 2 full times to show up besides the 5 of us on duty) we went out back again and played around some more. While we were doing that the tones went off for chest pains in Northumberland County. Tim took off in the squad and he ended up going to Geisinger with Dalmatia Ambulance. We then had the con-ed which was fireworks injuries. While we were doing that, the tones went off for breathing problems in Halifax Borough. Kathy and Tommy got in 6-7 and headed on down to Halifax. Tommy ended up going down to the hospital with Halifax. After con-ed I put everything away and then everyone left and it was just me there. I played some Guitar Hero. Kathy then came back and then left 20 minutes later to head on down to Halifax to pick Tommy up. I went back to playing Guitar Hero on her PS2. Tim then called me and told me he was on his way back. I asked him if he had grabbed anything for dinner and he said yes. I told him that I was going to run up to Koppy's and grab something to eat for dinner. I then headed back to the station and ate my popcorn chicken while I played Guitar Hero. I then laid down on the couch to take a nap. Tim woke me up when he got back and I went out and helped him restock. 6-7 then came back down so Tommy could finish his chart. Me and Tim sat down and watched the first episode of Season 4 of Emergency. Stutzman then came back from the Heigin's parade with 6-2. After the episode was over, Kathy, Tommy, and Stutzman all left. I then got back on the PS2 and played some more Guitar Hero. I finally went to sleep around 02:20 hours. The tones went off around 07:05 hours for a diabetic problem in Wiconisco Township. I reset the pager and went back to sleep. I woke up at 07:50 hours and got the stuff back on my belt and put my pillow away in my suitcase. Wertz then came in. I then filled out my time sheet and clocked out once John came in. I left there around 08:40 hours and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon around 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and then read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played some NASCAR 2008. I then got off at 17:40 hours and made and ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I am now getting ready to take a shower. I am then going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Pool Fills
I went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this morning at 08:30 hours when my mother woke me up. I got up and ate breakfast while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes. Me and my mother then got in her car and headed on down to Harrisburg to go to the doctors. We did some quick shopping before hand. She dropped me off at Best Buy and I got Season 4 of Emergency. She then went to Costco's and then came back and picked me up. We then went to the doctors and got out of there around 11:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and finished reading the paper. I then left the house around 13:00 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got there and the Tanker was already out and parked in the lower lot. The Utility was parked in front of the station and had a trailer attatched to the back of it. Katina then showed up and told me about the change of B9yd's Bear Bingo to July 20th and she went down front to change the sign. Kenny then came down and then Bubba came up. I put my gear on the Tanker and then put Bubba's gear on the Tanker. Katina and Kenny then started to wash the Utility and the trailer. We then left and headed to the first pool to fill. We dumped two loads in there and then ran to another pool to top it off. We then took the rest of that load back to the first pool and put it in there. We then dumped one more load in that pool. We then went to the next pool and dumped a load and then dump two loads in our last pool. We ended up doing 4 pools and hauled 7 loads out of the pump house. We then got fuel and we were back at the fire house by 21:30 hours. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Preceptor
I went to bed Saturday night around 02:45 hours and woke up at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and turned my alarm off and decided to just lay down in bed for a few minutes. I must have fallen back asleep as my mother came in around 07:22 hours and asked me if I was getting up or not. I got up again and got dressed and then grabbed my camera and suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together. I then left the house around 07:31 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I got up there and parked and Bruce came in and parked. I got out and we went inside. I put my lunch box and Gatorade bottles in the fridge. I then clocked in and me and Bruce did a rig check on 6-3. Audrey was out in the bay and the three of us were talking and then Tim came in. We then went in to the day room and I checked supplies. I then got on the computer and played some free online games as the day was really going slow. Then around 09:40 hours the tones went off for a call in Williamstown Borough. 6-5 went responding and ended up handling the call. Jim and Matt then came in while me and Bruce were on the computers. We both then got off and went into the dayroom. Audrey was sleeping on the one couch and Tim was back in the men's bunk room sleeping. They then left and myself, Bruce and Audrey talked about getting something to eat for lunch. I went into the bunkroom at 13:00 hours and asked Tim if he wanted to go with us to lunch and he said no. So we got in 6-3 and headed up to Jo-Jo's for lunch. I had a ham and cheese sub and a side order of fries. We then left and headed back to the station. Once back at the station I sat down on the recliner couch and slept for about an hour and then I washed my car out front. I then hosed down the front of the building and then went back inside. The tones then went off around 16:00 hours for an unconscious person, class 3 in Wayne Township. The three of us got in 6-3 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and then me and Bruce got in the back and off we went to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. Once back at the station Bruce did his paperwork and I helped him when he had any questions. We then started empting trash cans when around 19:46 hours the tones went off for bleeding in Eville Borough. Tim told Audrey she could go home and the three of us would take it. We got in 6-3 and off we went. We got to Koppy's and about 30 seconds later the vehicle pulled in. A 6 year old boy got wacked in the head by a tailgate on a trailer. It put a nice 2 inch long by 1/2 inch wide laceration on his forehead that was at least down to the outer membrane of his skull. We got his head wrapped and then we took him and the father down to Hershey Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Tim stopped at the Hess Gas Station so he could get a cup of coffee and I got something to drink. We then stopped at Shell so he could put fuel in the truck and then we headed back to the station. Once there we finished getting the trash together and then me and Tim took the dumpster out front. Bruce started his tripsheet and then saved it to finish on Wednesday when he comes in again. Matt and Beef then showed up and we all talked for about 10 minutes and then Bruce left and headed on home and the 4 of us continued to talk. They then left and headed back up to Lykens and me and Tim went in and sta down on the couchs and watched TV. I finally went to sleep a little after 02:00 hours. The tones went off around 05:10 hours for a diabetic problem in Washington Township. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and then made a quick trip to the bathroom. Me and Tim then got in 6-3 and off we went. We got there and we ended up having to call for the fire department for lift assistance since the guy was so weak and when me and Tim tried to pick him up, he was nothing but dead weight. After we got him loaded we headed on down to Holy Spirit Hospital. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on home. We stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts so Tim could get a cup of coffee. I got a doughnut and a bottle of chocolate milk and a bottle of apple juice and we continued on back to the station. Once back I parked 6-3 beside the station as 6-4 was going back in service for the next two weeks. I helped Tim restock and then gathered my things up and took them out to my car. Kathy then asked me if I would run up to Koppys and get a bag of sugar for her coffee since no one had gotten a new bag yet. So she gave me money and I ran up and then came back. We talked for a little bit and then I clocked out and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some sleep. I got up this afternoon around 13:11 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played GTA Vice City Stories and finished the main storyline. I ate dinner while I played on the PS2. I got off at 19:00 hours and then took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

NEW JERSEY
I went to bed Thursday night around 02:00 hours and got up at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my camera and suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together. I then left the house around 07:25 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I got there and parked and was sitting in my car listening to the radio when Stutzman came out and hit the side of my car with his palm. I was not paying attention, so it statrled me a bit. We talked some and then went inside. I took my stuff inside and put my lunch box and my Gatorade bottles in the fridge. I then clocked in and went out and did a rig check on 6-3. Tim had come in by then. I then checked the BLS and ALS supplies and everything was good and I did not have to order anything. Steve then came in and he said about going to breakfast. So we headed up to Special Place and met Jim and O'Neil and had breakfast. Me and Steve S. then ran up to Wal-Mart so he could get razor's. We then went around back to wait for Boyer to show up with his van and drop it off so we could take him back to the station. Once we got back, I checked a few things online and then decided to head up into the attick to take a look at that one bag that Steve said still had supplies in it. I took a pillow case up and found a lot more then what I thought was up there. I know I took quite a bit of scrap that was just going to be thrown away and put it in my car for the fire company to use. I got the supplies out and down and went through them and put away what we could still use. I then talked to Steve about throwing some of that stuff upstairs away and he did not have a problem with that. I also talked to him about the 6 SCBA's up there and he said about getting rid of them and seeing if we could make any money off of them. So I went back up and started tossing stuff down and handed the SCBA's down so I could clean them up, get info off of them and get pictures of them so I could put them up on Centralpafire. I think I spent about an hour up there going through stuff and then I came down. I cleaned the SCBA's up and got pictures of them and got the info on them so I could post them later. The tones then went off for bleeding in Upper Paxton Township. Tim and Boyer got in 6-2 and took off. We then loaded everything up in the back of Steve's truck and took it out back to the dumpster. Boyer told Steve to go through the maintenance cabinet and straighten it up and he threw a few things away. He also got rid of the metal filing cabinet in the bay's and brought the rubbermaid cabinet out from the wash room. I loaded the filing cabinet up in the back of my car for scrap down at the fire house. I had quite a bit of scrap in my car. I then went to work on all the old oxygen regulators that Stutzman and Steve S. brought down the other day. The tones then went off for an overdose in Halifax Township. 6-5 went responding and then Dohn got on the radio and put 13 out of service. 6-5 then said about dispatching 20 for a BLS truck. So county started dispatching them for their second truck. Of course they never got out and then county told 6-5 that they got a phone call from 13-1 that they would now be getting out. Well PSP ended up cancelling EMS as they were not needed. While this was going on, Boyer had Steve run him up to Wal-Mart in the squad to get his van. I then left and headed down to Sheetz to pick up Tim. Steve left at 16:00 hours due to working at West Schuylkill Friday night, so it was me and Tim in Eville and Jim and O'Neil in Lykens. I ate lunch while I did a few things on the computer. The around 19:10 hours the tones went off for a fall victim, class 2 at Koppy's in Eville. Me and Tim got in 6-3 and off we went. We got there and the kid ended up being a refusal, but we had to wait for his parents to come down from Lykens to sign the paperwork. While we were there, the tones went off for breathing problems in Lykens Township. 6-5 took that call. Once we got the signatures, we headed back to the station. We then talked about grabbing something to eat while I did my paperwork from the call. Jim then called Tim and told him to call Kuntz about coming down to the Eville station until they got back. Tim called Kuntz and then around 19:56 hours while I was on the computer, I heard Chief 24-B call county and ask for his unit and a medic from 6 to be dispatched to Fire Station 24 for chest pains. I went out and told Tim we were heading to Williamstown. He said about Kuntz getting there and taking the squad up to the call. The tones then dropped and Kuntz wasn't there yet. So we ended up taking it anyway. We ended up meeting 24-2 at Koppy's Propane and then Tim went down with them. I then headed back to the station and Kuntz was there. He then said about washing his car in the bay and I pulled 6-2 out and he pulled his car in. He had just started washing it when the tones went off for breathing problems in Williamstown. Kuntz went responding and this time he met 24-1 at Koppy's Propane and they continued on down to Holy Spirit Hospital class 1. Bubba then called and talked to me and then Jim called and rambeled off some stuff and I ended up yelling at him through the phone. They got there and I ended up going up with them to Lykens. We dropped Jim off at the station and then headed up to Koppy's Propane so I could pick up the squad. I got the squad and then we headed back down to Eville. I put the squad away and then waited for Tim to get back. It wasn't shortly after that he got back. I helped him restock and then we ran up to Koppy's and I got something to eat for dinner and we headed back to the station. Kuntz then came in and after he did a few things, they headed back up through to Lykens. I then got on Kathy's PS2 and played some Guitar Hero until 01:45 hours and then I laid down and went to sleep. Around 02:30 hours the tones went off for an overdose in Upper Paxton Township. I got up and got the stuff on my belt and my boots on and then went into the bunk room since Tim had not come out yet. I walked in and told Tim to get up and he said that he didn't hear any tones. I said they went off and again he said that he did not hear them. So I went out to the day room to check I/Net when the tones went off again. I went back in the bunk room and he was getting out of bed. I grabbed my stuff and got in 6-3 and once he came out off we went. We got there and 20-1 was already there. They headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital and I headed back to the station to get some sleep. Tim then called me aorund 04:30 hours and asked me where I was at and I said the station. He asked why I wasn't at Sheetz and I said he never called. He said he sent me a text and I said I told him to call me. He said to meet him at 20's station. So I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and then got in 6-3 and took off for 20's station. I got there and they pulled in about 30 seconds later. I moved his stuff over and then we headed back to the station. Once there I laid back down to go back to sleep again. The tones then went off around 06:10 hours for breathing problems in Williamstown Borough. I reset my pager and went back to sleep. Then at 06:26 hours the tones went off for a cardiac arrest in Jackson Township, followed shortly by my fire pager. I got the stuff on my belt and my boots on and we got in 6-3 and off we went. We got on the scene with Dave and went inside and it was an obvious Signal 12. I put the stuff away and then went to the door as my father was coming in and I waved my hand for him to go back outside. We walked outside and Bubba and Schoffstall were walking up and I said never mind as a Signal 12 had been called. We shot the shit for a little bit and then they left. O'Neil then pulled in as he came down from Williamstown as a Q. While we were there and proibally around 07:30 hours the tones went off for a call in Wiconisco Township. 24 responded with Kuntz from Fisherville and then O'Neil then left to meet up with them and make a MICU. Zack ended up releaving O'Neil. The funerl home got there around 08:30 hours and we helped load the body up and then left and headed back to the station. Once there I clocked out and shot the shit for a little bit and then headed on home to the fire house. I stopped and dropped all this scrap off and then headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I got up this afternoon around 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the computer to post these SCBA's on Centralpafire and then Kathy called me and we were talking on the cell phone. The at 14:56 hours the tones went off for a brush fire on Rutter Road. I quickly hung up with Kathy and got dressed and then got in my car and took off with my father in tow behind me in his truck. I got there and parked and as I parked the Tanker was leaving. I went in and kicked my shoes off and Kenny was getting his gear on. I then saw Bubba over by the Engine door. He got in and told my father to get in with him and for me and Kenny to take the Utility. Schoffstall then showed up and grabbed his gear and then LeeAnn got there as I was pulling out and took off, followed by the Engine. It was a 10' by 10' section of grass and weeds that were on fire. We used the garden hose off of the Tanker and two Indian Rakes off of the Utility. We left there and headed back. The Tanker dropped off the hose and then headed into the pump house to get water. I changed out of my gear and finished up the report and then left and headed on home after everyone else left. Once at home I ate dinner and then Steve from West Milford called me and said that they were about 1 hour out from us. I left he house around 17:50 hours and headed on up. Let me tell you what, these guys were outrageous. I got Schoffstall to help load the Booster Reels up in the back ot their chief's car and then they decided to stay for a little bit at the bingo. We showed them the station and the trucks before bingo and they got a few pictures. Bingo was fantastic. I had at least 7 Coors Lights. I left there around 22:45 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Engine Driver
I went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and got up this afternoon at 12:10 hours. I had wanted to be up by 11:45 hours, but my mother got busy and forgot to call me. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then ate a quick lunch. I then left the house around 12:33 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got up there and Bubba wasn't there yet. I went in and opened up the Tanker door and put my gear on the Tanker. I then put the pool fill pipe on the Tanker and then put two sections of hose in the driver's side compartment. Bubba was walking up by this time and I asked him if he wanted two or three sections of hose on the Tanker and he said three. So I put the thrid section on and then put his gear in the Tanker. He then told me to pull the Engine out. So I helped him open the Engine door and then got in the Engine and pulled it out. Once out he told me to put the pump in gear and then he opened the one discharge up to see what the water looked like and then she shut it. He then shut the Engine door and then told me that when he pulled in the driveway to pull in behind him and then got in the Tanker. He pulled it out and then I followed him in the Engine. We got down to the place and it was charlies from the township. We filled the pool and then ran into the pump house and filled up both trucks. We then ran up to Shell and got fuel and then headed back to the fire house. We got back and put the trucks away. I then helped Bubba move some stuff around in the cabinet and then he got on the computer to work on the final report for the state grant. Troy then showed up while we were looking at a book of hats. I then ran home at 17:00 hours and changed shirts and picked up the portable TV my father found under his work bench that Bubba said we could put on the trash pile up at the fire house. I then headed back up and Robby, Robin and LeeAnn were already there. Myself, Robby and Troy then went down to Gracey's house and loaded the scrap into the back of Troy's truck and then took it down to the old fire house and unloaded it up front since Troy's father needed his truck for today. Robin decided not to go so it was just myself, Troy, Robby, Bubba and LeeAnn in Troy's truck. We put our gear in the back and took it down just incase they got a call while we were there and then headed on down. My father pulled out from the Sheetz then and followed us to the fire house. They showed us the Engine and the QRS, which are the two pieces that we will be running next Saturday while we are down there. The chief then took Bubba out in the Engine, then Robby and then Troy. My father took the QRS out and followed Troy in the Engine. LeeAnn went with Troy and I went with my father. While Robby was out, the two juniors showed us the carnival buildings that they have behind the fire house. I want to tell you what, the kitchen that they use for the carnival, is at least 3 to 4 times bigger then ours. They have a soft serve ice cream machine, a snow cone machine. It just blew all of us away. While we were in the one building, we saw this hugh ass potato peeler sitting there. Bubba asked the chief if they still use it and he said no. He told him that we were looking for one and, well to say the least we came home with one more thing then we showed up with. We got in for $50.00. This thing is huge. We figure we can probally put a whole 50 pound bag of potatos in there at a time. We then left down there around 21:40 hours and headed on home. We stopped at the McDonald's on Front Street as Bubba was getting hungry and ate there. I had chicken tenders, fries and a Vanilla Milk Shake. We then headed on home. Once back at the station, LeeAnn had texted Katina to meet us there as we had a surprise. We showed her and she was amazed. We then unloaded our gear and then I made room in the old fire house for it and me and Troy carried it over there. I then left and headed on home around 23:20 hours. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Look at Kathy
I went to bed Monday night around 04:00 hours and got up Tuesday afternoon around 12:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played some Indiana Jones and then some of NASCAR 2008. I then got off around 17:00 hours and ate dinner while I did a few things online. I then got dressed and left the house around 18:30 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I had to head in early due to a mandatory benefits meeting for the full timers. I got there and parked and then took my stuff inside and then clocked in. I then checked the BLS supplies and then the ALS supplies and resotcked them. I also checked and made a list of ALS supplies to order later on. We then had the benefits meeting. Come August 1st of this year we are switching to Highmark Blue Shield. During the meeting, the tones went off for a fall victim. Steve S. and John took the call. The guy from the insurance company explained everything to us and we all liked it. The board then voted to accept the package. Everyone then trickled out. Kathy was still there when the tones went off for an assult victim in Williamstown Borough. Kathy knew the kid and called him and talked to him. Bowser and Zack ended up getting cancelled. Bowser did not have an EMT for up in Lykens and he could not find anyone, so he ended up coming down to Eville and we made a Squad and a MICU. Around 21:00 hours I believe it was, the tones went off for a syncable episode in Nortumberland County. Tommy took that one in the squad. I continued to play Guitar Hero while Bowser did some stuff on his laptop. Then around 22:30 hours while we were sitting there, we heard Box 21-1 come over the scanner. We got up and started heading towards 6-3 and then the tones went off for a possible structure fire. We went responding and it was a really fucked up call. The lady that called said that the house across the street from her's was on fire. She then said that someone inside the house was on fire and then she said that someone threatened to burn her house down and then hung up. We got there and PSP got there and went in the house. They then came back out and said that the ex-husband was willing to sign papers to have her committeed if need be. So I went in to talk to her while Bowser backed the unit up to the house. We ended up taking her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. I stopped at Sheetz to grab something to munch on and to drink while I did my paperwork and then headed back to the station. Once there I did my paperwork and then laid down to go to sleep around 03:00 hours. The tones went off at 03:30 hours for breathing problems in Wiconisco Township. Me and Bowser got up and got in 6-3 and off we went. We got up there and got the lady loaded up and then took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. While on the way down, the tones went off for chest pains in Jackson Township, in the devleopment below mine. After we got what we needed down there we headed on back. I passed the old man at the traffic light in Halifax. We then stopped at Shell and I got fuel and then headed back to the station. Once there I helped Bowser restock and then I was wide awke and could not get back to sleep. So I decided to play some Guitar Hero. I ended up laying back down around 07:11 hours and then woke up again at 07:45 hours when I heard Jim clocking in. I got up and put my pillow away and got the stuff back on my belt. I then told Steve S. about the truck and the clocked out and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon around 12:50 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer and played some GTA Vice City Stories. I then got off at 18:00 hours and ate the pizza I bought while I did a few things on the computer. I am soon going to go take a shower and then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Call with Bill
I went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 10:55 hours when the EMS pager went off for a medical alarm in Halifax Township. I got out of bed and got dressed and then just as I got in my car, we got cancelled. So I went back in the house and changed the laces on my boots and put new ones on as the old ones broke. I then made lunch and started to eat lunch and read the paper when around 11:20 hours the pager went off again for a sick person in Millersburg Borough. I got my boots on and got back in my car and headed into the "Barn". I got there and Bill was already there. I parked and got in 13-1 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded up and then took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once at the shed I logged my time in and then left and headed to town. I stopped at the Post Office and got two books of stamps. I then stopped at Dollar General and got a box of envlopes. I then headed on home. Once at home I finished eat lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer and started working on the letters for the Executive Board and Booster Meetings. I also called Chambers Hill and they are going to do a Booster Meeting. I then ate dinner while I continued to work on the letters. I then left the house around 18:05 hours and headed up to the fire house. I got there and went in the old fire house and brought that deep frier down and sat it by the back door for my father to look at. I then brought some more glasses down from the hall for the dime pitch. Bubba then called me and asked if I could come down the street and help him fill a pool. I said I would be right down. I got down there and helped him set up the hoses and then started filling the pool. Shortly after we started, the sky opened up and it poured. Bubba then came up and told me to go sit in the truck while he finished. He then told me to put it in netural when the last light went out. He then had me take the truck out of pump and then back it up to in front of the hall. I was soaked and so was Bubba. The meeting went very well. We decided to hold one of the Executive Board Meetings. After the meeting, me and Lonny ran into the pump house and filled the Tanker up and then finished filling the pool. Bubba and LeeAnn came down and rolled up the hose and took it and the pipe back down to the fire house while me and Lonny went back into town. We went to Shell first and got fuel and then filled up at the pump house and headed on back. Bubba then sprayed the Tanker off before putting it away and then I helped him go over the pool fill papers. We both left around 23:45 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then addressed all the enevlopes and put the letters in them. I am soon going to bed now as I am tired.

Happy Father's Day
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then grabbed something for breakfast and then headed up to the fire house around 07:00 hours. I ate breakfast once I got up there and then went over into the old fire house and started putting the charcoal in the trailer. LeeAnn then showed up and then Bill got there and Bubba came up. Lonny then showed up and opened the front of the old fire house and moved the mower out. Him and me then moved the trailer out after I finished putting the charcoal in. Myself, Dave and Bubba then got the pits going while Troy, Lonny and Schoffstall set the canopy up. Bill and me then brought the table over and then took his truck up and brought the boxes of chicken down. The charcoal really took off today and we had all the chicken off before 10:00 hours. However it was a slow day today with not a lot of people stopping in. We had to resort to the old stand-by of calling people and trying to push chicken on them. While they were selling the chicken, Troy and LeeAnn took the Engine and filled a pool. Bubba took the Tanker back to the church behind the fire hall. After he got done, I went down the alley and helped him fill a pool at the house across the alley from him. Troy and me then ran the Tanker in and filled it up and dropped the second load. I then hopped off and Lonny and LeeAnn took the Tanker out to start filling pools on the list. I then sat down and ate my chicken half while we had the festival meeting. We then finsihed with that and put all the glasses and prizes away and Troy put the Engine away and I put the Utility away. Myself, Kenny and Troy then emptied the ashed out of the pit and put it away. I then pulled down the Circle D Spot Lights from on top of the cabinet and put them in the old fire house. I then left around 16:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I watched the end of the race and Dale Jr. finally winning a race. I then took a shower and ate dinner. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Three Trophies
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning at 06:45 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got ready for the parade. I then put my uniform on. While my father was taking a shower, I got the cooler and drinks ready. I then read yesterdays paper. Once he was dressed he then got some snacks together for us to munch on while we were sitting in line waiting for the parade to start. I then grabbed my father's binoc's out of his truck for in the Utility. We then got in my car and headed up to the fire house. We got there and LeeAnn and Kenny were at the station. Bubba and Troy were over at the sale helping to set up things for the food stand. Jean was already over there and Katina, Robin and Martha were on their way over there. Robby then showed up and gave me his binoc's and I said that the Engine probally was going to need them since I got my father's out of his truck. All we were waiting on now was Schoffstall. Bubba had Katina call him to see if he was going and he just woke up when she called him. We told him he had 10 minutes to get there or we were pulling out. He got there 4 minutes after 08:00 hours and we left around 08:10 hours. Me and my father stopped at Shell in Eville to get ice for the cooler to keep our Gatorade and water bottles cold for the day. We then ran up to R & K Diner to eat breakfast with everyone else. I got two pancakes, a side order of bacon, a side order of toast asnd a glass of apple juice and chocolate milk. We then left and headed up to Williamstown. We registered and then did some last minute touch ups ans then we went up to the judging area. We then went and got lined up along the parade route. We were in line by 10:30 hours. The parade started at 14:00 hours and I thought it was a nice parade. They spot checked the Tanker in front of 24's station. We then went back to the park to wait for them to hand out the trophies. When it came time, we took hom 3 trophies. The Engine took 2nd place, the Tanker took 1st Place and the Utility took 1st Place. We were all happy with what we won. We then left and headed on back. We stopped at Shell and got fuel and then headed back to the station. We got back there and I had Katina come out and take a few pictures of everyone with the trophies in front of the trucks. I then ran my father home and changed into street clothes and then headed back up to the station. I helped Kenny clean off the stainless steel table for tomorrow at the chicken bbq. I then closed everything up and then went up to the hall and got another picture up close of the three trophies. I then went down to Bubba's house and talked to Robin and Jess for a little bit and then left to head home. LeeAnn had left and went down the alley. However a few seconds later she came back up the alley. I went up to get my car and she was putting the station Indian Rake in her car and asked me about the PW extinguishers. She grabbed the two old ones off of the Tanker and said that the burn pit was on fire. She then took off and I got in my car to head home. I stopped at the burn pit to see what was going on and Troy was using the one extinguisher. I then used the second one to wet down the grass around the outside of the fire. I then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then ate dinner. I am soon going to bed as again I have to get up early tomorrow morning.
Senior Vice-President
I went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and woke up this morning around 10:00 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then got my paperwork for the meeting together and sat in on the kitchen table. My father then got ready and we loaded the flags and stands in his truck and then we left around 10:45 hours and headed on up to Williamstown for the convention meeting. We got up there and I unloaded the flags and then my father parked around back. We then went in and registered and then sat with Brad Delancey. Sean then came in and he sat with us. I had two ham and cheese sandwichs and then the meeting started. I gave my Topics Committee report and then my HACC report. I then got nominated and voted in as Senior Vice-President. So now I get to take care of the gavel. We then adjourned around 14:30 hours and me, my father and Sean talked for about an hour. We then caught a ride with Jerry and Sue down to the church for the memorial service. I thought the memorial service was very nice. After the service was done, we headed back to Station 24 for the meal, entertainment and evening session of the meeting. The meal was delicous. I had baked ham, pork, applesauce and rolls, with water to drink. We then had Elvis again for entertainment. We then had the evening session, all the new officers were sworn in and then Dwayne took over as the new President. After the meeting was over, I got the gavel and we got out of dodge before the shirt tail parade started. We stopped at Wal-Mart quickly to see if they had any brass polish for my father belt buckle. We could not find any so we headed on home. Once at home I dropped my things off, changed t-shirts and then headed up to the fire house to do the detailing on the Utility. I got up there and Bubba and Robby were taking a break from doing work on the Tanker. Troy, Schoffstall, LeeAnn and Kenny were washing the Engine. I did the windows on the Utility. I then armoralled the cab, tire foamed the floor and then put tire shine on the tires. I left there around 22:40 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as tomorrow is a big day.

Insurance Finally
I went to bed Tuesday night around 01:30 hours and woke up at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my camera and suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together. I then left the house around 07:28 hours and headed up to Lykens to go to work. I got there and parked and went inside and put my lunch and Gatorade bottles in the fridge. Enders and Tindell were there overnight. Enders had to leave as he was finishing up his reverse 24 down in Eville. I clocked in and then myself, Tim an Tindell talked for about 45 minutes. I then did my rig check and Tim checked his gear. I then filled out my paperwork online and then checked a few things online while Tim slept on the couch. I then moved 6-8 0utside and swept the bay out and then washed 6-8 and vaccumed out the cab. The tones then went off for a call in Millersburg. Beef took that call and went down to the hospital with 20. I then put 6-8 away and went back inside the day room to cool down some and got back on the computer to do a few things. The tones then went off for a fainting in Halifax Township. Me and Tim got in 6-8 and off we went. We got there and Tim went down with the lady and I headed back to the "Barn". Once there I picked up my check and then headed back home. Once at home I dropped off my check and helped my mother with brining up and putting out some yard decorations. I then swang by the fire house but Bubba was already gone and headed up to Swab's by the time I got there. I then headed back into Sheetz and waited for Tim to get back. Once he got back, I stopped at Shell and got fuel and then Tim told me to stop at Giant as he had to pick up some side dishes since the Eville crew was making lunch. We were under the impresion that they were cooking out on the grill. We got what Tim wanted to get and then headed up to Eville. We got there and here they made pasta instead. I had some garlic bread as I was not really hungry. I restocked Tim's gear and picked up some supplies to take up to Lykens and then we sat down to watch the end of the DVD of Rambo that the Eville crew was watching. After that we headed back up to Lykens. Once there I put the supplies away and then went back to do a few things online. I then ate my lunch at 16:00 hours and about 10 minutes after I finished the tones went off for abdominal pains in Lykens Borough at the doctor's office a block down from the station. We got there and the guy refused to be transported because he had to take care of his animals and get them to a kennel in Millersburg and then he would call 911 and go down to the hospital. We then went up to Tim's house and he got his x-box and I stopped at Tower Mini Mart and got something to snack on for that night and then headed back to the station. Tim laid back down on the couch and I sat down to watch TV. The tones then went off for abdominal pains in Upper Paxton Township. Beef took that one and ended up being placed in service. A short time later the tones then went off for a pregancy in Williamstown Borough. We got in 6-8 and off we went. We got up there and before we even got out of the unit, 24-1 placed us in service. We then headed back to the station. It was quiet the rest of the night with no calls. Me and Tim played on his x-box for a little bit and then he headed on home around 01:30 hours and I laid down and went to sleep. I woke up at 07:40 hours then Tommy came in. I got up and got the stuff back in my belt and then put my pilliow in my suitcase. I then clocked out once John got there and then we talked for a little bit and then me and Tim both left. I stopped at the Shell in Eville and got gas. I then stopped at the Eville station and checked supplies and filled out my time card. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I got up at 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes. I then ran up to the fire house and picked up my subs and brought them home. I then ate my one sub while I read the paper. I then left the house at 13:00 hours and headed up to the fire house. I opened everything up and went down to Bubba's house to talk to him. I talked to him and he asked me to wash that red hose that came off the trash line on the Tanker. I then went back up to the station and did that. Bill stopped in and we talked for a little bit and then he left to run some earands. Bubba then came up and we talked a little bit more before he left to go to work. I then pulled the Utility out and washed that and then painted under the wheel wells. Kenny then came down and LeeAnn showed up. I told her about my neighboors down the road moving out and how they had all of this scrap sitting out with the trash. She ran home and got her trailer and brought it back. Schoffstall then showed up as we were repacking the trash line on the Engine. Troy then showed up and we headed up to my neighboors house and picked up all the scrap. I then headed on home and then left around 19:33 hours and headed into town to get my hair cut. Once I was done in there I headed on back out to the fire house. They were already gone when I got there. Kenny came down and showed me the check from Robin for their dues for tomorrow. I then talked to him for a little bit and then left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

I then got on the computer and typed up my reports for this Friday at the meeting. I then headed up to the fire house to do some work on the Utility. I got up there and went over the outside compartments again and then over the cab behind the seat. I then went through the incident reports from 2004 while I let the cab dry before I put the equipment back in. I then closed everything up and headed on home around 16:55 hours to eat dinner. Once at home I ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things online. I then left around 18:30 hours and headed back up to the station. Troy, LeeAnn, Schoffstall, Robby. Kenny and Robbies son were there when I got there. Both the Engine and the Tanker were pulled out. Robby was going to wash the Tanker but we could hear thunder off in the distance and the sky was getting cloudy. Troy backed the Engine in and they started working on the cab windows. The rain then stopped and Robby and his son washed the Tanker and Troy had me pull the Engine out. LeeAnn and Jason continued to work on the windows and Troy went up to work on the hose bed compartment. Kenny then worked on the Jaws of Life and then the rear generator compartment. I then went up to help Troy close the hose bed lid and asked him about putting the one saw back in the top compartment. I opened it up and told him that I would probally at least wipe down the saws and make sure that they all start. The cutters edge saw would not starts so we kept that saw off until Bubba could take a look at it tomorrow. We tired everything on it. Checked the gas, the spark plug, the air filter, and nothing we tried worked. Troy then backed the Engine in and then we all left and headed on home. around 20:45 hours. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Ron asked weather Tim was coming in or not. I said I would be right back and then got in my car and headed up to Tim's apartment to see if he was home. Both his car and motorcycle were there, so I knocked on his door. He answered and said he would be down and that he told Steve that he would be in a little late do to being at Hershey Park on Saturday. I went back down to the station and told Ron. Then around 09:50 hours the tones went off for breathing problems in Wiconisco Township. We got in 6-4 and off we went. Williamstown ended up coming down as the BLS truck and Jim went up as ALS and they went to Harrisburg Hospital. 6-3 went to Holy Spirit Hospital with their patient. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 13:10 hours. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then ate lunch and read the paper. I then left around 14:20 hours and headed up to the fire house to work on the Utility. Bubba was there and we talked for a little bit and then Kenny came down. Bubba left for work and I got the Indian Rake heads out and painted them and then we washed the yellow 2-1/2" hose so it can be put back on the Engine Wednesday night. Drunk Out of my Mind
I went to bed Thursday night around 02:30 hours and got up Friday morning around 10:45 hours when I heard my father out mowing the lawn. I got up and read the paper and then ate lunch while I did a few things on the computer. The house phone rang around 12:00 hours and a few minutes later, my mother came back and said that my Grandfather was in the Harrisburg Hospital again with a fast heart beat. My father was just finishing up mowing the lawn and she told him and he got cleaned up and they both headed on down to the hospital. I then left and headed up to the fire house to do some work on the Engine to get it clean for convention next Saturday. Katina then showed up and then her mother showed up and they went down to work on the thermometer. I helped Katina get tape on the thermometer for her mother. Bev did the one side and then had to run down to the garage to make out some bills. Kenny then came down and me and him worked on the driver's side compartments on the Engine. Bev then came back up and did the other side. My mother then called me and said that my Grandfather was doing better and that he was still in the ER and waiting for a room. She said that they would stop and grab me something to eat for dinner. I then backed the Engine in and Jess got home and came up and we started talking and she grabbed a Miller Lite out of the fridge and we sat outside of the fire house and talked. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I at the sub that they had picked up for me. I then took a shower and got changed into my club clothes and then headed back up to the fire house. We had a crowd last night for shade. Martha, Gary, Robin, and Dave S. went in Martha's van. Lonny drove our van and Bubba sat up front. Ruby and her boyfriend then sat in the first bench seat. Katina and Schoffstall on the secone bench seat. LeeAnn and Roller Dave in the next and then myself, Troy, Tonita, and Jess in the back seat. I had 3 Coors Lights before we even got over to the bar. We had blast over there. I don't even know how many Coors Lights I had. I know Bubba bought me one Yeager Bomb for my birthday. I danced one slow song with Jess and I was hoping to dance with one of the girls from a group of men and ladies that were sitting beside us, but they were all married. I ended up upchucking in the bathroom before we left and they put me up front in the van. I don't remember the ride home. I remember getting in the van and putting my seatbelt on and then waking up when we got back to the station. Once at the station I got in my car and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went to sleep. I got up at 06:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then grabbed mt Gatorade from last night and headed on up to the fire house. I got there and Lonny, Kenny and Katina were all there and then LeeAnn pulled in shortly after me. We got everything together and then Bubba came up and we all headed up to Wal-Mart. Me anmd Kenny went in the Utility and Bubba went with LeeAnn in her Jeep. We got up there and got things set up and had chicken all set up and ready to go. The Children's Marical Network was not. They had nothing ready for us and did not have coolers ready for us when the first round of chicken was done. We ended up doing 500 quarters. Halfway through, once we got coolers out and got the second round of chicken on, Schoffstall then showed up and then Lonny and Kenny left to go fill 3 pools. We finally finished up around 12:45 hours and then tore down and was out of there by 13:30 hours. Once back at the station, I took my gear out of the back of the Utility and then helped put the canopy away. Schoffstall then got the air conditioners out of the old fire house and we got them in the fire hall and I want to tell you what, it really cooled down in the hall. Bubba then had me bring the backboards and stuff up so he could mark our name on it. I then headed on home to eat dinner. Once at home I had shake and bake chicken and then helped my father bring the other two air conditioners up to the house so they could go in my room and their bed room. I then headed back up to the fire house to help get those back boards on the Engine. I guess Lonny somehow knoked the sign off the back of the Tanker. I worked on it and put new hooks on it while Bubba worked on cleaned out the compratments. Before Schoffstall left, he got in the back of the Utility and we found out that a pinched wire was the calpruit for the red flashers on the Utility flashing together instead of alternating. I then wiped down the Indiana rake we used today and then got the backboards on the Engine. I then left around 23:07 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Lost Mudflap
I went to bed last night around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 10:30 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper. I then ate lunch and then got on the PS2 and played some Indiana Jones. Bubba then called the house around 12:45 hours and asked if I was busy. I told him no. He asked me if I wanted to go with him on a pool fill and I said I would be up in five minutes. I changed into old street clothes and then headed up to the fire house. I got there and Bubba asked me if I would mind if Jaz went along with us and I said no. I then put my gear in and Bubba told me to grab another section of 2-1/2" and put on the truck. We then got in the Tanker and headed up to Eville. We stopped at Swab's first so Bubba could check on the truck from Rockville he has to take back down Friday. We then stopped at Kratzer's and picked up supplies to work on the trucks for convention. We then dropped one load in the pool. The guy from Duncannon then called me about picking up the SCBA's today instead of tomorrow. I said that was not a problem as we would be back by then. We then headed over to a guy's place that Bubba knows, who has an old milk tanker he keeps water in that is feed by a spring off of the mountain. He told Bubba that if we ever need to fill up on water while in Eville we could use it. Well we got back there and he has been doing som digging in there and we could not get back to the pipe. Well with it raining and the ground being soft, we kind of sank in some as we turned around. Somewhere in the process, we ripped the right rear mud flap off. We got turned around and then had to stop and Koppy's as Bubba's blood sugar was dropping and he had to get some food in him. I grabbed a soda and something to munch on and then we headed into the pump house to fill up. We then took the second load up and dumped that. We used Bubba's pool fill pipe and it works extremly well. I like it as it is less work and wear and tear on us. We then headed back to the pump house. We dropped Jaz off at Kiner's with her father and then continued into the pump house. We filled up and then headed up to Shell to get fuel and then headed back to the station. The guy from Duncannon was there and he picked up the packs and the two spare cylinders and then left. Bubba then said about running back up to Eville to look for that mud flap and then dropping him off at Swab's so he could pick that truck up and take it home. So we got in the Utility and headed on up through. We stopped at Shell and got gas for the can on the Utility and the station can. We then went back up to this guy's place and found the mud flap and then I dropped Bubba off at Swab's and followed him back to the station. Once there I backed the Utility in and put my gear back in my stall and locked the station gas can up and then headed on home to eat dinner. Once at home I had two cheeseburgers and then headed back up to the station at 20:00 hours. Jess, Troy and Martha were standing in Bubba's parking area talking. I went down there and talked with them and then went up to the house and sat and talked with Troy, Robin and Jess while Bubba worked on the front gate. He finished and then Robin and Jess ran into town to pick up Jaz and bring her home. Bubba then backed the Tanker in and we noticed that he white lights on the light bar were flashing. I said something to Bubba and he said he did not know why they were doing that and that it just started. I then helped him take the other mud flap off so he could take it up to Swab's tomorrow and have them get us two new ones. I then did my weekly med checks on the truck and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

The Look on their Faces
I went to bed Monday night around 02:00 hours and woke up Tuesday morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played some Indiana Jones till 13:40 hours. I then changed into old street clothes and headed up to the fire house to work on the Utility. I got up there and the Tanker bay door was open. I went in and pulled the hose down and started rolling it and then Bill pulled in and we talked while I rolled the rest of the hose. I then pulled the old Cairns SCBA's out to clean them up and get pictures of them to post them on Centralpafire. Bill helped me clean them up and get them ready to have pictures taken. I then went to work on the back of the Utility. I pulled the packs out and wiped them down and the brackets down also. I also pulled the 2-1/2" hose out and wiped down in there and put the hose back. I wiped down the portable generator and the portable pump. I also wiped down the spanner wrenchs and the fire extinguishers. I then climbed up and and fixed the spill pig and made sure all the cribbing was in place and I put the hose clamp back up on the second shelf. I then made sure the two spades and the 3 pitch forks were in place and not going to fall out. I then saw Bubba go by in a Rockville Maryland truck and head down to the house. I then heard a loud noise down at his place and went down to see what he was doing. He was using a jack hammer to break up the blacktop in his parking spots so he could get the post. Bill then left on a call. Me and Bubba then went back up to the station and he showed me a few things and called hte one lady back about a pool fill. He asked me if I wanted to go with him to fill the first pool and I said I could but I had to be back to the station no later then 17:30 hours so I could get ready to go to work. He ran up to the restroom and I put my gear in the Tanker and then put his gear in the Tanker and then helped him put his pool fill pip on the Tanker. As we pulled out, Troy pulled in and Bubba said to me that he had a second pool to fill after the one we were going to do that Troy was going to go with him on it. I said that if Troy wanted to go that was fine was I could then head home and get ready for work awhile. So I took my gear out and Troy put his gear in and then they left. I then closed the Tanker door and the top panel started to bend and the door did not go all the way down. I hit the stop button and played with it for a little bit. Lonny then pulled in and asked if Bubba was here and I said that him and Troy had just left to fill 2 pools. The station phone then rang and it was someone looking for a pool fill. I took down the guys information and then called Bubba and told him and also told him about the Tanker door. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then got ready for work. I changed into my uniform and grabbed my camera and suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then grabbed my Gatorade bottle and then left around 19:05 hours and headed up to Lykens to go to work. I stopped at Tower Mini Markets and grabbed something to snack on and a half gallon of Guers Orange Drink. I then headed to the station. I got there and parked and went inside and 6-4 was gone. I clocked in and checked the supplies and a few things online. Tim and John then got back. I then did a rig check on the 6-4 and then me and Tim sat down to watch Gallagher on DVD. We then ran up to Shell for Tim to get a pack of smokes and then back to the station. Once back, Tim hooked up his Xbox for me to play GTAIV while he worked on his charts from the day. He then left around 00:30 hours and headed on home for the night. I watched Deadlist Catch and then played some more GTA IV. I went to sleep around 03:00 hours and woke up at 07:35 hours when the tones went off for a call in Millersburg. Beef took that call with the squad. Shultz then came in and then Tindell came in and the four of us talked for about 30 minutes and then I left and headed on down to the Eville station. I got there and went through supplies and then put supplies away. I then helped Steve with the big boy stretcher and then I left around 10:00 hours and headed on home. Once at home I changed into street clothes and then read the paper. I then ate lunch while I did a few things online. I then got on the PS2 to play some Indiana Jones. I got off at 17:00 hours and ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. At 18:30 hours I left and headed up to the fire house. LeeAnn, Troy and Lonny's cars were there. Lonny and Troy were down at Bubba's house and LeeAnn came out of the hall. Kenny then came down and then my father showed up. Bill came in and Bubba came up and then Lonny and Troy came up. Robin then came up and we all left around 19:15 hours and headed up to the township building. I think everything went fine with the meeting and we should have the letter of support from the township. We then headed back to the station and myself, Bubba, Kenny, LeeAnn and Bill stayed and shot the shit while LeeAnn typed something up for Bubba. We all left around 21:30 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Call at Lake Tobias
I went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and was rocked out of bed this morning around 09:45 hours when the pager went off for a call in Millersburg. I got up and started getting dressed and then 20-2 went responding and we were put in service. I reset my pager and got undressed and went back to bed. I woke up then around 10:50 hours and got out of bed. I sat down and started reading the paper. At 11:01 hours the pager went off for a sick person in Halifax Township at Lake Tobias. I went back to my room and got dressed and then got in my car and headed into the "Barn". Sue was already there and had 13-2 pulled out. I parked and got in 13-2 and off we went. We got there and got the lady loaded and I drove down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the shed I logged my time and then pulled the times up for the call. I then left and ran up to Sheetz and got gas and then headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch while I read the paper. I went off duty at 14:00 hours and changed into street clothes. I then got on the PS2 and played Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. I got of at 16:45 hours and then ate dinner while I did a few things online and watched MASH on TV. I then left the house at 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire hall for the meeting. The meeting went good. We found out we made more money then we thought we would on the scrap metal, and that was just with Troy taking the prepared steel, batteries, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum cans, and reel rims. The Faust dump truck, the trailer with the appliances on and the trailer of aluminum still need to go up. Then Troy and the Faust's have to go to Hiram's place and get his about 1 ton of scrap and the two riding mowers on Creek Drive. After the meeting, a lot of us shot the shit and then people slowly started leaving. Then myself, Troy and LeeAnn stood outside and shot the shit. I then left up there around 21:45 hours and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

John Deere Bingo
I went to bed last night around I believe it was 00:30 hours. I had originally laid down on the bed to relax some and ended up falling asleep. When I woke up at 00:30 hours, I turned the internet off and then went to sleep. I woke up this morning around 11:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and then headed up to the fire hall for the John Deere Bingo. LeeAnn and Katina were already there when I pulled in. I went into the hall and we talked for a little bit. Robin and Jess then came in and then Troy and Kenny and Martha came in. Then the people started coming in. I thought it was fairly good, we had 22 players. Bingo went good and after it was over we all sat around and shot the shit. Robin and Jess left first. Then Troy followed Hiram over to his place to take a look at the scrap that Hiram told us about yesterday. Katina then left and it was just myself, Gary, Martha, Lyle and LeeAnn. LeeAnn then got up to trun off the lights and we heard her yell that there was a snake. We all got up to take a look and there was a baby milk snake inside the hall by the front door. Lyle stepped on it's back and then put a rock on it's head. He then called Troy and him and Jess came up to look at it. Jess then left and headed back home and then we shot the shit. I left there around 19:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I got on the PS2 and played some Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. I then got off at 22:20 hours and did a few things online. I am now going to take a quick shower an then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
