Yet Another Fire Call

I went to bed Saturday night around 02:30 hours and got up Sunday morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my digital camera and suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then finished packing my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together and left the house around 07:25 hours and heade up to Lykens to go to work. I stopped at the Tower Mini Mart in Lykens and as I parked, LeeAnn sent me a text message. It said that Hiram from bingo had passed away Saturday at Harrisburg Hospital. I then went into the store and got a paper and a few other things. I then headed over to the station and parked and took my stuff inside. When I went in I noticed that 6-3 was not in the bay, so I knew that they were out on a call. We still can't get I/Net up at Lykens, so without calling down to Eville, I had no idea where 6-3 was at. I then clocked in and put my stuff in the fridge and then did a rig check on 6-7, which was the second due unit. Kuntz then came in and he asked me about 6-3 and I said I had no idea where they were at. I then ate breakfast while I filled out the paperwork on the computer and checking a few other things. 6-3 then got back and Zach told me that there was a crack in the windshield on 6-3 and that the right front tire on 6-7 was nearly flat. I was like oh that's just great. Ron then left and Zach did his tripsheet and then left. I did a rig check on 6-3 and then the paperwork and then sat down and read the Sunday paper. Kuntz kept turning on different movies on the TV for us to watch while he did what he called work. I don't know if it was work for MedMedia, or what. We then ran over to Don's so he could get a plater of food and then we went back to the station. Once there I heated my two chicken breast sandwichs up and ate them while watching another movie on the TV. I then got on the computer and checked a few things on ebay and then sat back down on the couch to watch the moive some more. I then went out and did 20 laps in the bays and then came back in and got back on the computer. Then around 15:30 hours the tones went off for breathing problems in Wiconisco Township. We got in 6-3 and off we went. We got there and it ended up being a panic attack and Kuntz got a refusal on the lady and then I headed on down to the end of town and got fuel and then headed back to the station. Once back there I sat down and watched a moive called "Sahara" and then "The Guardian". Around 18:30 hours I called and order into Cioa's for some sicilian pizza and then walked down and got it and a bag of chips and a soda and walked back up to the station. I then watched my regular show on the Discovery Channel for Friday night and then went back and watched the ending of "The Guardian" and then went to bed around 01:40 hours after checking a few things online. Kuntz went to bed around 22:45 hours. Ealier in the evening, around 20:10 hours, the tones had gone off for a call in Millersburg, and once on the scene, Tim got placed in service by 20-1. I got up this morning around 07:50 hours when Zach and Wertz came in. I got up tand got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and then put my pillow away in my suitcase. I then clocked out and got the stuff out of 6-3 and then the four of us shot the shit for about 15 minutes and then I left and headed on down to Eville. I stopped at Shell and got gas and then continued onto the Eville station. Once there I checked the ALS and BLS supplies and restocked them and then grabbed my check. While I was doing that the tones went off for a fall victim, class 1 in Eville borough. John and Jim took that call. As I was getting on the computer to put an order in for supplies, I heard 13's tones go off, and then my fire pager went off at 09:47 hours for wires down on a truck on Armstrong Valley Road. I grabbed my check and left and got in my car and since it was a class 1, turned my blue light on and off I went headed for the scene. I tried calling Bubba to see if he could throw my gear on the truck, but I forgot that we just had a talk about this. The Engine went responding shortly before I got on the scene. I got on the scene and then Engine was right behind me. When I first got there, I accidently parked by the end of the wire coming out of the Bible Church. I then said something to Bubba about me calling him and he said why don't I run back to the station and get my gear. I asked him if I should bring the Utility back and he said that the Engine wasn't dispatched, it was dispatched as Company 216. So I got back in my car and headed back to the station. Once there I kicked my boots off and got my bunker pants on. I then grabbed my jacket and helmet and put them in the front of the Utility, then opened the Engine bay door and pulled the Utility out, then closed the Engine bay door and put myself responding. I got on the scene and we were there for maybe a total of 45 minutes. Some tractor trailer driver tried to turn around in the parking lot of the church and ripped the power line down from the pole to the church and then was afraid to get out of the vehicle. After we left we headed back to the station. Once there I opened the Engine bay door and backed the Utility in and then Bubba backed the Engine in and Ray closed the door. It was Bubba and Ray on the Engine. Dave and Jason came together, then Jean and Michelle as fire police. Once back I changed out of my bunker pants and then we all shot the shit until around 10:30 hours and then everyone but myself and Bubba left. We stayed maybe another 15 minutes and then we both left and I headed on home. Once at home I changed out of my uniform and then watched the DVD of Indiana Jones and the Radiers of the Lost Ark while I ate lunch. I then read the paper and then went downstairs and rode my 5 miles on the exercise bike. My mother then came home and I helped her bring some things in from the vehicle and we talked for a while. I then got on the computer to do a few things and also ate dinner while I did a few things online and watched MASH on TV. I then changed into old street clothes and left the house around 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire house. Once there I parked in front of the Engine bay door and used the air compressor to put air in my left rear tire. I then parked behind the station and went inside to wait for House and Troy to get there. House got there around 18:30 hours and we talked for a half an hour until Troy got there at 19:00 hours. Troy then pulled the Tanker out, House the Utility and then I pulled the Engine out and backed in back in the station on an angle so we could wash it for Hiram's funeral on Wednesday. We then washed it and moved all the trucks around and back in and we all left the station around 20:00 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and will soon be going to bed as I am tired.
