A Day of Cardaic Problems

I went to bed Thursday night around 01:30 hours and got up Friday morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my suitcase and digital camera and took them out to the kitchen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together. I then left the house around 07:40 hours (I left kind of late) and headed on up to Eville to go to work. I stopped at Koppy's and got a paper and a pack of Lance crackers and then headed to the station. I got there and parked and grabbed my stuff and headed inside. Once inside I clocked in and then put my lunch box and Gatorade bottles in the fridge and then did a quick rig check on 6-4. That was when I noticed that the grate at the front of the bays was filled with water. I then went in and got on the computer to fill out the proper form and that was when Yeager told me that they washed the rig inside yesterday and that the little sump pump that we have, doesn't work. He also said that 6-3 was dead the day before for him and he had to put it on the charger to get it started. Him and Wertz then left and then Flipper said about going up to Special Place around 08:30 hours. So we got in 6-4 and headed up to Special Place. We got there and ordered awhile and then the Lykens crew of Stutzman and Fathead came in and then we all ate breakfast. After breakfast me and Flipper headed up to Wal-Mart so he could get a perscription filled. I got some Sharpie markers and then once Flipper got his medicaiton, we headed back to the Eville station. Once there I read the paper and then I went outside to see if 6-3 would start. It was dead again, so I put it on the battery charger. They also had 6-2 parked outside running as the new 6-1 was sitting in the bay so the graphic's guy could fix the stipping on it. Just as I put 6-3 on the charger, the tones went off for chest pains at the Doctor's office in Elizabthville Borough. I went inside and grabbed my jacket and then we got in 6-4 and off we went. We got on the scene and got the guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. While we were on the scene, the tones went off again for abdominal pains, class 3 in Lykens Township. The Lykens crew took that and they ended up going to Evan. After we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. As we were coming down the north side of the mountain, Halifax got hit to head to Millersburg for a class 3 call. Flipper wanted me to head down 147 towards Millersburg so that when 13 didn't get out right away and then we could take the call. I told him that 13 would have a crew and would most likely get out. So I took 225 to head back to Eville. As we were passing Pizza Delight, they hit our tones and I decided to turn around at Bunker Hill Road and Flipper saw the crew for 13 walking towards the ambulance and he said that we could contine back to the station. So we headed on back and once back I ate lunch while I checked on a few things online. I had finished eating lunch and was checking a few things online, when the tones went off for a sick person, class 2 in Jackson Township on White Oak Road. We got in 6-4 and off we went. We got on the scene and I grabbed the BLS bag and we headed on up the flight of stairs outside and then up another flight of stairs inside to the house to the guys wife, laying on her back in the bathroom. When I came up the steps, she looked very pale to me. I started talking to her and Flipper checked her pulse and said he couldn't feel a radial pulse. So I handed him the BP Cuff and her BP was 60. He then turned to me and told me to go get the monitor and med bag and bring them in. So I went down and grabbed them and brought them in. He then did a 12 lead on her and said that she was having an MI. So I set up a 1,000 bag of NSS for him and then went back out and got the stretcher out and set up and then grabbed the Reeves and a sheet and took them back inside. Flipper tried to talk the lady and her husband into having her flown by Life Lion, but the husband didn't think it would save any time, and his wife agreed with him. Later Flipper said that he thought if the husband wasn't there, she would have agreed to the chopper. So we got her loaded up into the Reeves and got her down and loaded up into the ambulance and then I made my way out of the State Game Lands. Once I hit the main road, I went class 1 down to Harrisburg Hospital. As I was passing Shell, I saw Bubba getting ready to pull out and I waved at him. After we got what we needed at Harrisburg Hospital, we headed on back. I stopped at Sheetz and got chicken strips to eat for dinner and Flipper got a sandwich and then I stopped at Shell and got fuel and then we headed on back to Eville. As we were coming down pasr Deppen Park, the tones went off again, for chest pains in Upper Paxton Township. I turned around at Bunker Hill Road again and I put us available and responding and off we went. We got there first and then 20-1 showed up a few minutes later. I helped get the lady loaded up and then they headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital and I headed on back to the Eville station. Once there I ate dinner and got Flipper's supplies. While I was eating, the tones went off for bleeding at SLV and the Lykens crew ended up handling that call. I then left and headed on down to Sheetz to pick Flipper up. Once I picked him up, we headed back to the Eville station. Once back there I helped him restock and then I took the ALS gear out of 6-2 and moved it outside. I then moved 6-1 in and went to work getting the BLS gear on it so it could be licensed. I finally finished up with that around 22:30 hours with that and moved the squads around and put the ALS gear back in 6-2 and then got on the computer to play some Texas Hold 'Em Poker and relax. Flipper went to bed around 23:30 hours on the blue couch out in the day room. I went to bed around 01:30 hours back in the BLS room. I woke up at 07:45 hours when the alarm on my cell phone went off. I got up and then the tones went off for Dalmatia for a structure fire in Jordon Township. I got the stuff on my belt and then put my pillowcase away and took my suitcase out to the day room. I then got my gear out of 6-4 and then ate my breakfast from yesterday while I checked a few things online. The tones then went off for a BLS unit from Company 6 to assist at the structure fire. I then left and headed on home. Shortly before I left work, my mother called me and told me to park in front of my father as she had to take April up to the vets at 09:45 hours this morning. Once at home I talked to my mother and found out that April was having some blood in her urine. I said that it might be a UTI and that I wanted to go along with her up to the vets. I then changed into pj's and laid down in bed to get a little sleep. I then got up at 09:20 hours when my mother woke me up. While I got dressed, my father helped my mother get April in her cage and then we left. We think it is a UTI, we have to try and get a urine sample to the vets for them to test along with blood work then. Once back at home I changed back into my pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 16:00 hours, went to the bathroom and went back to bed and woke up a second time at 17:00 hours. I got out of bed and put my dinner in the oven and then read the paper. I then ate dinner while I watched some College Football on TV. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I found out that Flordia knocked off No. 1 Alabama amd Oklahoma is currenlty leading Missouri. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk ot me, just give me a buzz.
