A Slow Day with Wertz

I went to bed Thursday night around 03:00 hours and got up Friday morning at 06:50 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got my stuff together and then left the house around 07:15 hours and headed up to Swab's. I stopped at Swab's to check on the body and they had the sides clamped in place on the top compartments. I then left and headed up to Lykens to go to work. I stopped at Tower Mini Mart and picked up a paper and a bag of chips and then headed to the station. Once there I parked and took my stuff inside and clocked in and put my stuff away. I then did a rig check on 6-4 and then Yeager came out and gave me his report. I then ate breakfast while I filed the proper form out. I then read the paper while Wertz tided up. We then headed on down to Special Place and met the Eville crew along with Boyer and ate breakfast there. We then went back to the Eville station to pick up 6-7 to take up to Lykens. I got there and saw that he Combi-Carrier's were in so I told Wertz to give me 20 minutes so I could get them tagged and logged on my sheet. We then headed back up to Lykens and I read the paper and then got in the computer to do a few things and I also ate lunch. Then around 15:00 hours we went over to the Gratz Mall and I got a piece of pizza and some beef sticks and then we headed back. Once back at the station we watched Mother, Jugs, and Speed that I brought along. Then around 18:30 hours the tones went off for a Signal 21 at the Wal-Mart. Since Tim and Stutzman were already out on a fall victim from earlier, me and Wertz took the call. It was for some 11 year old boy who was acting up and had slap his mother in the face. We got on scene and PSP said that they would handle the call, which was fine with me. We headed back to Lykens and then at 19:00 hours I called Ciao's and got a ham and cheese sub and then ate that while I watched TV. Kuntz then came in at 20:00 hours and Wertz left. I then called Bubba around 23:00 and we talked and then he called me back around 00:30 hours and we talked some more. In between us talking I hosed 6-5 down again and then got on the computer to do a few things. I then laid down on the bed around 01:30 hours and the tones went off around 02:30 hours I believe it was for Upper Paxton Township. I reset the pager and went back to bed. The tones then went off again around 03:10 hours for breathing problems in Upper Paxton Township. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and then got in the truck and waited until Kuntz got in and then off we went. We got there and I moved his gear over and then headed to Sheetz. Stutzman was sitting there also waiting for Tim to get back with Millersburg. I parked and got in his truck and we talked until Tim got back. I then went into Sheetz and got something to drink and to munch on to help me stay awake. Kuntz then got back and I moved his gear over and then we headed back to Lykens. Once there he restocked and I hosed the truck off again and then went back to sleep. I woke up at 08:02 hours when I heard the doors slaming in the day room. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and then got my boots on and put my pillow away. I then got my stuff out of the truck and clocked out. I talked to John and Ron for a little bit and then I left and headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 12:40 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I am now doing a few things online and am soon going to eat dinner. I am then going to head up to the fire house to call bingo for our special bingo. Once I am done there I am going to come home and take a shower and then hit the old email and surf the net. I should be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk, just give me a buzz.

Worst Case Scenario

I went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and woke up this afternoon at 14:20 hours when my mother called the house. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes and then got my shoes on and grabbed my jacket and waited for her to get home. Once she got home I got in her van and we headed up to Goodwill. Once there we dropped off 5 trash bags of my Grandmother's clothes that my mother and her sister had gone through today. We then ran over to Wal-Mart so she could pick up a few things and then we headed on home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate dinner while I did a few things online and watched MASH on TV. I just got done taking a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Driving Class 1 in the Snow

I left the house last night around 19:15 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. It was already snowing out when I left. I stopped at Koppy's and grabbed something to munch on that evening and then headed to the station. Once there I parked and took my stuff inside and clocked in and put my stuff where it needed to go. I then checked supplies and put the supplies that had come in away. I then did a rig check on 6-5 and then filled out the proper form and did a few other things online. I then swept the carpet in the day room while Bowser ran up to Koppy's in the Squad to get some Advil and something to drink. I had sat down to watch TV when around 22:20 hours the tones went off for an unconscious person in Washington Township. I went out to the bay and Bowser was just backing in, so I started 6-5 and once he got in off we went. The guy accidently overdosed and was almost a code by the time we got there. I took my time as the roads were now covered with snow. We got the guy in and I started bagging him right away while Bowser did his job and once we got him semi-stable, I jumped in the front and off we went to Harrisburg Hospital, class 1, but at a very slow pace, with me never topping 40 mph. After we got what we needed down there, we started the long and slow trek back. We got back around 01:30 hours and I backed the truck in so we could restock. Once we were done with that, I pulled the truck back out and hosed it off while it was snowing out. I then backed it in and sat down in the day room to eat my snack and watch some TV. I also talked to Bubba for a little bit. I then got on the computer at 04:00 hours and put an order for supplies in and checked a few other things. I then finally laid down on the couch around 05:20 hours. I got up at 07:51 hours when I heard Bowser making noise in the day room. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and put my pillow away. I then got my stuff out of 6-5 and took it into the day room. Kathy then got there and the three of us shot the shit for sometime until Jim got there. I then cleaned my car off and headed to Swab's. Once there I got a few pictures and talked to Jay and Bruce and then headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon at 12:30 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch and read the paper. I then got on the computer to do a few things. My father then got home and got the snow blower out and I changed clothers and went out and helped him clear the driveway off. I then came in and ate dinner while I watched MASH in TV and did a few things online. I then took a shower and ate a light snack. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

More Work at the Fire House

I went to bed last night around 03:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:40 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and changed into street clothes as I was going to run into Giant. My mother was gone and I thought she was down at grandpa's house. So I called her to tell her that I was going to head into Giant. She said that she was up at the vets and she was going to run in there anyway, so I told her what I needed. I then read the paper until she got home and I then ate lunch. I then headed up to the fire house to do a few more things. I saw that Bubba had brought his heat gun up for me to use and I decided to do that awhile. So I took the stickers off of the flat shovel, the three scoop shovles and the two broom heads. I then filled out a report for the fire from last Friday night. I then talked to Bubba around 14:00 hours and asked him about what to say to Piffer's. I then loaded my gear into the Utility and then pulled the Engine out and then the Utility, then backed the Engine in and closed the bay door and then got in the Utility and headed up to Piffer's. I got there and picked the cylinder up and headed back to the station. I got there and pulled the Engine out and then backed the Utility in and then backed the Engine in and closed the bay door. I then sat the cylinder on the table and put my gear back in my stall. I then got on the computer to continue to re-type the constitution. Bubba then stopped in before leaving for work and we talked for a little bit. He then left and then Robby and his boy stopped in and we talked for a little bit and then I logged out of the computer and headed on home. I am now eating dinner and am getting ready to head to work for my 12 hour night shift. I won't be back home until tomorrow morning.

Work at the Firehouse

I went to bed last night around 04:00 hours and got up this morning at 10:40 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and ate lunch and then changed into old street clothes and then headed up to the fire house around 11:30 hours. Bubba was already there along with Matt who was working on the roll up door on the back of the Engine. The three of us shot the shit until Matt was done with both the back of the Engine and putting "Fire Police" on the Utility. Bubba then said that Piffer's was done with the cylinders, so I loaded my gear into the Utility and Matt left and Bubba left to head to work. I then pulled the Engine out and then the Utility, then backed the Engine in and then headed up to Piffer's. I picked them up and headed back to the station. Once there I pulled the Engine out and then backed the Utility in and then the Engine. I left everything in the Utility as I was going to have to head back up to Eville's station after 16:00 hours to get the cylinders filled. While I waited for that time, I preped the two indian tanks that Bubba got from Foestry the other day, marked them up and filled them with water and got them in the back of the Utility. I then marked the new shovles and brooms up and then Bubba called and said to meet Joey at Eville's station. So I pulled the Engine back out and then the Utility and then backed the Engine in and headed to their station. He filled all 6 cylinders and then I left and headed to Shell to get fuel and then headed on back to the station. Once there I pulled the Engine out, backed the Utility in and then the Engine. I then put the cylinders back in the packs on the table and then put my gear back in my stall. I then left and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Wanted: A Decent Football Team

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon around 12:10 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 to play some college football. I decided to play Oklahoma this time as they are ranked #8. Again it was a close first quarter, and then they took off in the sceond quarter and were up at one point by almost 20 points on me. Right before half time I kicked a field goal and that gave me a little momentum going into the half. The third quarter saw me catch up to them and it was still a close game for a little bit, and then I broke it open. Oklahoma came back towards the end oif the game, but they didn't have enough time. The final score was 96 to 83 in favor of me. I don't know if it is due to being on the field for so long that has resulted in the last three teams I now played to drop off in the second half. So far the only two decent teams I have played were USC who beat me by a touchdown and Texas who I beat with a last second field goal to win the game. Other then those two, the other three, Flordia, LSU, and now Oklahoma, have started off a good game, and then go bad real fast. I then got off around 16:00 hours and got on the computer to do a few things. I am now eating dinner while I do a few things online. I am then going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Relaxing Day at Home

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon at 13:00 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the PS2 and played a game of college football. I decided to play LSU this time. LSU took off in the first quarter, but the end start of the second quarter, I was catching up to them, and then finally took the lead and never looked back. Thanks to my defense blocking two extra point attempts and a field goal, I was able to keep a 2 point lead going into half time. However, in the second half I took off and LSU couldn't keep up with me and it ended up being a blow out with the final score being 133 to 61 in favor of me. My parents came home while I was in the first quarter and I helped them bring stuff in from the car and I also told my mother about Hotel Wayne and that we all really liked it and might go back there from now on, but we aren't sure right now. I then got off at 17:00 hours and made and ate dinner while I did a few things online and watched some TV. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Hotel Wayne

I went to bed last night around 02:30 hours and woke up this afternoon at 15:00 hours. I got out of bed and read the paper in my room as my father was going to be home soon. I then got on the computer and did a few things. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV and did a few things online. I then got dressed around 19:00 hours and headed up to the fire house to go to Lee's Bar tonight. I got up there and Bubba and Robin had gone somewhere to get something to eat for dinner. I then went into the station and I checked to see if Bubba had brought back the other 7 SCBA cylinders. They weren't in the station and when I asked Bubba later he said that Phiffer's wasn't done with them yet. I then noticed that he had stuff in the back of the Utility from forestery. They then got back and Bubba came up to the station and I helped him take the stuff out of the back of the Utility and then we heard Lonny pull in and we went outside as we were done in the station. Tonita and LeeAnn had already left and headed on over to the bar. We then left and we got up there to Hotel Wayne. It is up by Altoona and it is a nice little bar and I really like it and hope we go back. I lost count of how many Coors Light's I had. Lonny and Bubba played a game of pool and I told Bubba I would play the winner, which ended up being him. I won because Bubba scratched while he was trying to knock the eight ball in. While we wre playing some guy told Bubba he would play the winner. So I played him and I guess he is some kind of pro as he killed me in the game. I danced one song with Tonita that I had talked to Lee and asked him to put in. We then left there around 00:45 hours to head on home since it took us a little but longer to get here then to Shade Mountain. We stopped at a Sheetz along the way home and I got something to drink and something to munch on. While we were at he bar, apparently we had a call for a structure fire in Halifax Borough, but it was held to Company 29 only. Once back at the fire station I left and headed on home. I am now at home and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Washing the Engine

I went to bed Tuesday night and got up Wednesday morning and after getting dressed and grabbing my stuff I left the house and headed up to Lykens to go to work. I stopped and picked up a paper and then went to the station. Once there I parked and then took everything inside and put it where it needed to go and clocked in. I then did a quick rig check and filled out the proper forms while I ate breakfast. Jim Hoffman then came in as they were once again working on Truck 22 still. Jim (FH) then needed to go get breakfast and take care of a personal matter. We went to Burger King and he got something to eat and then he took care of his personal matter and then we went to the Eville station. Once there I checked supplies and restocked and/or put away supplies that had come in. The Eville crew then took a call and then we finally headed back up to Lykens. We took 6-3 with us to make it the second due truck. Jim had to stop and put fuel in 6-5 and then we got back to the station. They had moved the Engine over into our bay's so they guys from Sutphen could back the one service truck into the Engine bay. We then backed in front of his truck with 6-5 and I left 6-3 parked in the parking lot and let it run for a little bit before turning it off. Also before I put 6-5 away, I ran Jim over to Don's so he could get something to eat for lunch. I then ate lunch while I started to compare some prices with a new company we are looking to create an account with. The tones then went off for chest pains in Williams Township. I ran Jim up there and then headed back to the station and then finished up my supplies list and emailed it to the guy. 24 then dropped Jim off and then the Sutphen guys were done around 18:00 hours and then we played musical trucks and moved everything around. Kuntz then came in and then around 20:30 hours the tones went off for a CVA in Rush Township, and we were ALS and Tower City was the BLS. Kuntz ended up getting canceled and on the way back I called Ciao's and placed an order and then picked it up and went back to the station and ate while I watched TV. I had just sat down when the tones went off for chest pains at the Tower Mini Mart and Loyalton. Tim called because he thought that Kuntz went with Tower City, and I said that we were back and he asked who was going to take it and they finally ended up taking it. I then went to bed around 01:00 hours after having fallen asleep on the couch. The tones then went off around 01:54 hours for abdominal pains in Lykens Borough. I got up and got everything back on my belt and got my boots on and then we got in 6-5 and off we went. We got there and got the guy loaded and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the station I did my chart and then laid back down in bed around 05:00 hours I believe it was. I then got up at 07:58 hours when Jim came in. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and then got my stuff together and then clocked out and left and headed to Swab's. I stopped there for a little bit and when I left Bubba pulled in with the Utility. He had run 10 cylinders over to Phiffer's to have them hyrdo tested. I talked to him for a little bit and then headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke ip this morning at 11:30 hours. I ate lunch and read the paper and then changed into old street clothes and headed up to the fire house. Once there I saw that we had water and I washed the Engine. I then got the last 6 cylinders ready to go and then Bubba came back from Swab's with the Utility. We were getting ready to wash the Utility when Phiffer's called and said the 10 cylinders were done. So we loaded the 6 cylinders up in the Utility and took them over and dropped them off and picked up the 10 and then ran into Station 29 and got them filled and then headed back to the station. Once back at the station I backed the Utility in and Bubba backed the Engine in and then we put the cylinders away. I then headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and then changed shirts and headed into Halifax and got my hair cut. I then stopped at Giant and picked up two bags of chips and then took my car through the car wash at Shell and then headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

Time to do the Minutes

I went to bed last night around 04:00 hours and I got up this morning at 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and left the house around 13:10 hours and headed up to the fire hall. I went through the firemen's relief folders again and got a partial membership roster. I then went down to the fire house and Bubba was on the computer. He had the SCBA list and was counting how many cylinders need to by hydro tested before the end of this month and it came out to 16. So we can only do 8 at a time. Bubba had to leave for work so he asked me to pull 8 cylinders that need to be hydro tested and I sat them on the table and made a list up also. I then did the minutes and the attendance list. Bill then came in to do his flyers, so I left him get on the computer quickly and then I finished everything I need to do up. I then headed on home and once at home ate dinner and am now getting ready to take a shower. I am then going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Major Accident

I got up Sunday morning and got dressed and went to work. I got there and took my stuff in and clocked in, did my rig check and ate breakfast and then read the paper. Beef and Stutzman had a call around noon time and then around 12:29 hours I heard over the fire radio that 29 had a structure fire in the borough. Naturally the Engine was dispatched on the inital alarm. Naturally I was pissed that I was missing another call, when they upgraded to the first alarm for a working fire, which now brought the Tanker, along with apparatus from Millersburg, Dauphin, Linglestown, and Duncannon. They got a good knock on the fire and weren't out as long as I thought they would be. We then headed down to the Eville station around 14:20 hours. Once down there I kept listening to what was going on down in town. Beef and Stutzman came back while we were there. The 29 box got placed in service around 14:48 hours. Shortly before that, the tones went off for breathing problems I believe it was in Halifax Township. Beef and Stutzman took off on that call. Me and Tim then kind of sat around the station. Then around 14:30 hours the tones went off for an accident with entrapment in Mifflin Township. We got in 6-5 and off we went. We got behind Squad 26 in the square of Berrysburg and had Engine 26 coming behind us. We got there and I believe Rescue 28 was just pulling up. The passenger was already self extricated. The driver and back seat passenger were heavily entraped. It took about I would say 20 minutes to get both extricated. Tim went with Dalmatia to Geisinger with the front seat passenger. The driver and back seat passenger went on Life Lion to Hershey Medical Center. The car took a really good hit on the driver's side door, and pushed it about almost to the middle of the car. 13 brought Beef up to the scene as they weren't getting a whole lot of information about the call and Beef thought he was needed. I got the truck turned around and helped Beef move his gear over so I could take him back to Eville to restock. We didn't even leave the scene yet when the tones went off for a CVA in Halifax Borough. Me and Beef got in 6-5 and off we went. I dropped him off and headed back to Eville. I stopped at the station and restocked the backboards and c-collars and then went to Shell and got fuel and then headed up to Dalmatia's station to pick up Tim. We then went back to Eville so he could restock and then we went to Jo-Jo's and ate dinner and then headed back up to Lykens. Once there I watched a little TV and then went to bed around 00:45 hours as I was tired. The tones then went off around 04:00 hours for a Cardaic Arrest in Mifflin Township. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and my boots on and then went out to 6-5 and woke Tim up and told him that Ron and Yeager were heading out on a code, if we wanted to go help them. Tim got up and then we got in 6-5 and off we went. It ended up being a signal 12 and we weren't there long and we went back to Lykens and I went back to bed. I then got up when Zach came in and got everything together and clocked out and then headed on down to Swab's. I got to Swab's around 08:45 hours and I parked and walked in the door, the fire pager went off for a smoke investigation in the 2 box, I turned around and got back in the car and headed to the scene since it was on Mountain House Road. While I was heading there I called home and asked my mother if my father was going on the call and she said yes and I told her to tell him to grab my gear and throw it on the truck. I didn't find anything in the area and called into county fire and told them. Bubba then came down Mountain House Road and pointed down further and we found a controlled burn. Once he cleared the scene and headed down to get an address, I headed back to the station. Once there Troy, my father and LeeAnn were all there. We talked for a little bit and then Bubba came in and we talked some more and then we all left and I headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I then got up this afternoon around 14:00 hours. I got up and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the computer and did a few things. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I then left the house around 18:00 hours and headed up to the fire house to get things ready for the meeting. The meeting went goof and then afterwards a bunch of us shot the shit and then I left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

The Unit Shuffle

I went to bed Thursday night around 02:45 hours and got up Friday morning at 06:50 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then got everything together and left the house around 07:05 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I stopped at Koppy's and then swung by Swab's. They had the shelves in the back compartment on the driver's side, the suction hose slot, and the compartment for the generator. I then headed to the Eville station. I got there and parked and took my stuff inside and clocked in and put what I needed to into the fridge. Yeager was out in the bay when I took my stuff out and he gave me a report. I then did a rig check on 6-7 and filled out the proper forms while eating breakfast. I then read the paper until we got a call in Halifax Township for chest pains. I ran Tim down there and he went down to the hospital with 13. I then ran back up to the Eville station and once there I went back to reading the paper. The Lykens crew then got a call in Lykens and then shortly after that the tones went off for a phsyc. in Washington Township. Boyer had just gotten back about 2 minutes after they dispatched it and said that me and him could take it, so I said ok. So we took that call and he took me down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed, we headed on back. Once back at the station, Wertz and Matt were there and we talked to them about 6-8 and how it is leaking exhaust. So we decided to put it out of service. Boyer had me and Tim run 6-5 up to Lykens. Tim took 6-5 and I drove 6-7. We switched the trucks around and then got talking and then Jim Hoffman came in and he mentioned about our Tanker being over at New Buffalo's station on a stand-by. My pager didn't go off because I was in the back of 6-7 on front street heading for the hospital. Boyer then called up and said that me and Tim should start heading back down as it sounded like we might get called to Northumberland County for a call. This time took 6-8 while I again drove 6-7. We didn't even make it out of Lykens when the tones went off for the call. Tim pulled over by the Shell station and got in with me and off we went. We got in Gratz and Dalmatia placed us in service. So I turned around and took Tim back to 6-8. I had talked to Bubba after I left the Lykens station and he said that they got the chassis lettered. Tim said he was going to stop at Wal-Mart to get something to eat. I took that opportunity to swing by Swab's and get a few pictures of the chassis which was now sitting outside. I then headed back to the station. Once there I ate lunch and did my chart on the physc. The tones then went off around 17:30 hours for chest pains in Halifax Township. I once again ran Tim down to the scene and he rode down with 13. While we were on the scene there, the tones went off again for an overdose in Eville Borough. Wertz and Matt took that call. I then made a quick stop at Giant and picked up some iced tea and ran them home and then stopped up at the fire hall to help make some subs. Tim then called and said he was getting a ride back with Wertz and Matt. I then headed back to the station and they got back shortly after I did. The four of us then went up to Jo-Jo's tp eat dinner. I had two slices of cheese pizza and a side order of fries. Me and Tim then headed back and he went to bed around 22:00 hours. I then moved 6-1 out and backed 6-3 in and tagged everything on that truck. I then moved it out and put the stretcher and stair chair from 6-8 into 6-3 and then moved 6-1 back in and put 6-3 beside the station so that it can run as second due. I then talked to Bubba for awhile and then finally laid down on the couch around 03:00 hours. I woke up around 05:00 hours when Lykens got a call, and then again at 07:00 hours and Fortney came in. I then woke up around 08:00 hours when John came in and I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and put my pillow away and then gave him my report. I then left around 08:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I changed into street clothes and then headed up to the fire hall to get subs to sell door to door. Schoffstall called me and said that they had sat subs and money out for me and that they were heading out awhile. I sold in town and when I did 225 in town I parked at the church and the one time I went back to sit in my car and warms my hands up, I saw Jess come up to the intersection. She pulled in the parking lot and we talked for a few minutes and then she headed into town to get jaz some McDonald's. I then finished up town, then went and got some more subs and did the development back off of Tourist Park Road, along with Tourist Park Road and then did 225 back to town. I had to run back to the station one more time and I picked up the last 25 subs and went out to finish 225, but I only sold 10 to 12 more subs. I got back and Katina was the only one there and I gave her my money, and I bought 4 more subs myself, and ate one there. I then talked with Katina for a little bit and then I did a few things on the computer and Bubba stopped up in and we talked for a few minutes. I then got two more subs for my father and then left around 15:30 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and updated the township website. I then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Fun with Subs

I went to bed last night around 04:00 hours and woke up this morning at 10:54 hours when Bubba called me cell phone. When I answered he told me to head to the station as we were going to be getting a call. I got out of bed and was getting my jeans on when my mother brought me medication into my room. She asked me where I was going and I said up to the station as Bubba had just called and said that we would be getting a call. So I then got in my car and headed up to the station. I got up there and Dave and Jason we already there. I parked and went inside and Jason said that we probally weren't going to go. I asked him what it was and he said a Chimney Fire in Wayne Township, on a 19-3 box. Carsonville hand't gotten out yet and Halifax was soon on it's second dispatch. Jason was getting itchy just go with the Tanker as no one was on the street yet. After they hit Halifax for the second time he finally told Dave that he was just going to go with the Tanker. I took my jacket off and Jason started the Tanker awhile. I asked Dave if he wanted me to grab the Utility. About that time the tones went off. I didn't hear my pager go off because of the Tanker running, but I heard the breaker for the house siren click in the breaker box, followed by the siren going off. I kicked my shoes off and got my bunker pants on and then grabbed my jacket and helmet. Dave then said to go ahead and start the Engine awhile, which I did and I cracked the bay door some to keep the fumes from building up in the station. He the motioned for me to open it all the way and he said he would pull out and see if anyone else was coming. So he pulled out and I shut the bay door and then got in the officers seat, and then he put us responding and off we went. We got to the scene and stagged behind the Tanker. Truck 20 was already there, along with 6-5 (6-8) and Chief 29-3. Me and Dave went up to the scene and I ended up taking 20's TIC down to their guys in the basement. I then helped Jason get the basket chain off of the Tanker and then I got the chimney buckets off of the Engine and Tanker, along with the two chimney shovels and the mirror. We were out for about 1-1/2 hours at the scene and then we got released and headed back to the station. Once there I got out and opened the Engine bay door so Dave could back the Engine in. I then helped close the Tanker door since Jason had already backed the Tanker in and then I shut the Engine bay door as Dave was already back in. Troy then came in as he had come up from Bubba's house from talking with Robin. I had filled out the report while we were coming back, so I didn;t have to do that. Dave had to leave to go get ready for work and I told Jason that I would hose what we used down and Troy said he would help me. I then got out of my bunker gear and then hosed everything down. Me and Troy then talked for about 10 minutes and then we both left and I headed on home. Once at home I ate lunch and read the paper. My mother had run up to Eville to pick up medication for April and then went to Wal-Mart to pick up some things. Once she got home I helped her bring the stuff in and then finished reading the paper and we talked some about the call. After that I got on the computer to do a few things and then left the house around 17:00 hours and headed up to the hall to help with subs. Katina and Bill were already there and Katina was working on slicing the tomatoes. I sat down and had a quick soda and then brought the rest of the stuff that Katina had to get in to the hall. Jean then showed up and me and her started working on the lettuce. Lonny then showed up, followed by House, then Troy, LeeAnn, Jason, Matt and Aren, and then Jess. We had some problems with Buttercrust not giving us enough buns. Katina talked to the guy and we got a deal worked out for tomorrow with buns. This was the most help that I have seen to help make subs since I have been in the fire company. After we finished with the subs quite a few of us sat around and shot the shit. The remaining 6 finally left around 21:15 hours and I headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and then got my lunch together for work tomorrow and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Cold Wave

I left the house last night around 19:05 hours and headed up to Lykens to go to work. I stopped at the Tower Mini Mart and got something to snack on and then headed to the station. The crew was out when I got there as I parked and took my stuff inside I noticed the unit was gone. I clocked in and put my stuff in the fridge and then swept the bay since the unit was gone. Ron then came in and we got talking and then Zach and Tommy got back with 6-8 and then the four of us got talking. Ron then laid down on the couch to get some sleep and I did a rig check on 6-8 and then filled out the proper form on the computer and then sat down to watch the Discovery Channel. Then around 23:00 hours I went out and hosed the unit off and then talked to Bubba for about a half an hour. I then got on the computer for a little bit. I finally laid down in the bottom bunk a little after 03:00 hours. The Eville crew had already had a call around 20:00 hours that evening. Well now it was our turn. About 15 minutes after I laid down, the tones went off for a stroke in Lykens Borough. I got back up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots back on and then we went responding. After we got the lady loaded we took her down to Harrisburg Hospital. After we got what we needed we headed on back. While we were on our way down, the Eville crew got hit out to meet up with 20-1. We stopped at Sheetz so I could grab something to eat and then we made a quick stop at the Eville station. I took that opportunity to check the supplies, which helped elimante a stop I would need to make later on in the morning after I got off of work. We then headed back up to Lykens. As we were coming into Loyalton, the fire radio dispatched Company 27 to MI Doors and Windows in Gratz Borough for a Automatic Fire Alarm. We went responding and got placed in service before we got to the scene, so we went back to the station. Once there I ate my breakfast and did a quick tripsheet on the fire alarm and then laid back down around 07:00 hours and then Ron did his chart. Tim then came in and I woke up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and put my pillow away. Kathy then came in and I gave her the unit report and then I clocked out and left and headed to Wal-Mart. Once there I got my printer cartridge and then went to Shell and got gas and then stopped at Swab's to see how the body is coming along. Me and Jay talked for a little bit and then I headed on home. Once at home I changed into pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. I woke up this afternoon around 14:00 hours and I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and headed up to the fire house around 16:00 hours to run spy-bot on the computer at the station and then help with bingo tonight. Jess and Katina were already up there when I got there. Jess had Jaz and they were in the hall getting everything set up for the night and Katina was down in the station. I then helped Katina bring in all the stuff for making subs tomorrow night and then went back down to the station to work on the computer. Bingo was low on attendance tonight. After bingo was over a few of us stood around and shot the shit and then we all left and headed on home. Once at home I took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

If you had any brains, you would be scared

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this morning around 11:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then went out and cleaned my windshield off to make sure there was no ice underneath the snow, since my mother had ice on the windshield of her van this morning when she took April up to the vets. April had blood in her urine again this morning and mom was able to get her squeezed in at the vets this morning. I then came inside and got on the PS2 to play a game of college football. Since the games I played against USC and Texas the other day were close, I decided to play Flordia, who was ranked #4 in the game and me (Penn State) was ranked #17. I thought this was going to be a close game. Well I was wrong. With 2 minutes left in the first half, Flordia finally got on the board with a touchdown. However by then the socre was 45 to 7 in favor of me. The final score was 117 to 23 in favor of me so it didn't turn out to be the game I was hoping it would be. I got off and got on the computer to do a few things. I then ate dinner while I watched MASH on TV. I am now going to soon take a shower and then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A Relaxing Day at Home

I went to bed last night around 03:45 hours and got up this afternoon at 13:30 hours. I got out of bed and I ate lunch while I read the paper. I then got on the computer and played Emergency 3 for awhile and watched the Steelers play the Chargers, and the Steelers one. I also ate dinner while I played on the computer. I then got off around 21:10 hours and I took a shower. I am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Snow on the Ground

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon around 12:50 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. It had snowed overnight and by the time I got up it had started to snow again. It stopped snowing around 17:00 hours. My parents then left the house around 15:30 hours to head over to Perry County to go to a party at one of my father's brother's house. I got on the PS2 and played some College Football. I found out that I need to get a new memory card as the one I have been using keeps messing up. I decided not to start my career over again until I got a new memory card, so I just played a game after I made myself the quarterback for Penn State. I first played USC and I lost by a touchdown. I then ate dinner while I played that game. I then played Texas I was ahread until the last few minutes of the first half and then I was behind by a field goal. I stay neck and neck with them until the start of the fourth quarter and then they got ahead of me by two touchdowns. I fought back and tied the game three times, the final one being 94 to 94, with about 30 seconds left to play in the game. Texas then got the ball and after two plays fumbeled it and I recovered the ball. I was in field goal range and had 11 second left, so I kicked the field goal and made the socre 97 to 94 and they couldn't do anything after I kicked off to them again. I then got off around 22:10 hours and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. It hasn't snowed out anymore, so we won't be getting as much as they had predicted. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

A lot of straighten out to do

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon around 12:45 hours. I got out of bed and ate lunch while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and headed up to the fire house to fix a few things with my meeting attendance sheets that I made up on the computer. I didn't like how they looked, so I changed a few things around. I then went up to the hall to go through the file cabinets in the back room. I have a lot of work to do in those cabinets after I talk to Bubba to see what is what and if anything can be thrown away, or I can put it in file folders to clean the drawers up some. I also have to see what Holly has at her house since she never put anything in the filing cabinets at the hall. So I might have to file a lot of her stuff. I then left around 18:50 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner and am now getting ready to take a shower and then am going to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Again too much to blog about

I kind of like my blog from the other day when I summerized two days, saves me a lot of typing, so I think I am going to stick to that form of blog. I went to bed Tuesday night, got up Wednesday morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got dressed and got my stuff together and then left the house around 19:36 hours after cleaning the ice off of my car and headed up to Eville to go to work. I stopped at Koppy's and then headed to the station. I took my stuff inside and then clocked in and Jim called and said he was going to be a little late as his car had broken down. He finally got in and then Steve and Kuntz got back from a call. I then did a rig check and ate breakfast. Steve and Kuntz had a code down in Halifax Township that ended up being a signal 12. Tim was on with 24-2 and Stutzman and Kathy had taken a BLS call. The tones then went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township, in the square of Fisherville. Tim and 24-2 said that they would handle the call. Me and Jim decided to headed on down incase they needed a hand. We got to about the bible church on Armstrong Valley Road and they called it in as a code. We went responding and they dispatched the fire department also. They also ended up being a signal 12. We then headed back and then I read the paper and then the tones went off for a call in Lykens. Stutzman and Boyer took that so Tim could get caught up on his charts. Boyer wanted Jim to get something to make for lunch. So we started up towards Wal=Mart and then the tones went off for a call in Millersburg. I turned around and we headed there. That ended up being a release to BLS and about that time the tones went off for a call in Wayne Township with 13 as BLS and us for ALS. We went available and said that we would take that call. We got that guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. We then headed on back and stopped at Wendy's so Jim could get something to eat. Once back at the station I hosed 6-4 down and then just as I backed it in, the tones went off for chest pains in Berrysburg Borough. We got there and got that guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. We then headed on back and once again I hosed 6-4 off and then did my tagging for the night. Kuntz then came in and then I ate dinner and then went to bed around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 07:30 hours when Boyer woke me up and told me that Zach had just called off a 24 and asked me to start making some calls. I told him I could only stay until 09:00 hours and then I got Stutzman to cover the day and Smith to cover the night. Then around 08:20 hours the tones went off for chest pains in Millersburg and I ran Kuntz down there and then headed on back and clocked out and left. I stopped at Swab's and talked to Jay some and got a few pictures. I then ran up to Wal-Mart and got a few things and then headed on home. Once at home I changed into my pj's and went back to bed and got some more sleep. I then woke up around 12:45 hours this afternoon and I got out of bed and read the paper and ate lunch. I then straightened up my room some and waited for the guy from Bound Tree to call me. He finally called around 16:00 hours and said he was just now on the turnpike. He then called again around 17:00 hours and said he was sitting outside of Eville's fire station. I told him where to go and then said I would be up in about 10 minutes. I got up there and showed him the scoops and then Troy called me and asked me if I was at home and I said no I was in Eville and I asked him why and he said that we would probally getting hit for a call for an accident with injuries and wanted me to grab his gear. I said I would start making my way back up and I thanked the guy from Bound Tree again and then left and headed back up through. Well they never dispatched us by the time I got to the scene so I just stopped to help. Bubba then called me and said that Robby was going to leave with the Engine. I said I would head back to the station. I already had my blue light on so I took off. I crested the hill and was surprised to see headlights and the car pulled over into a break in traffic and when I went by saw it was Jess, who I later found out had Robin and Jaz with her. I got to the station and Robby and LeeAnn were already there. LeeAnn let me in I got my gear on and then I heard the old man pull in and I let him in and then I grabbed my jacket and helmet and headed to the Engine. Robby decided to drive and I said I would get the door, which I did and then got back in the Engine and off we went. We mainly swept the roadway off and helped Fred with the cars and then went back to the station. Once there we all stood around and shot the shit. I then left around 19:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner while I watched thr BCS National Title game on TV. Flordai beat out Oklahoma for the title. I took a shower during halftime and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

For Those About to Rock...

I went to bed last night around 03:30 hours and got up this afternoon at 13:30 hours. I ate lunch while I read the paper. I then changed into street clothes and headed up to the fire house around 14:30 hours to work on the meeting minutes. I got there and took my briefcase inside and then Bubba came up as he was soon leaving for work. He asked me if I could take the Utility up to Swab's and drop off the suction hose for the portable pump for the new Squad, and I said that wasn't a problem. So I loaded my gear into the Utility and then pulled the Engine out. Robby then pulled up in the alley and we talked for a little bit and then I pulled the Utility out and then backed the Engine and then went back over to Robby who was now talking to Bubba. The three of us talked for a little bit more and then Bubba left for work and I headed up to Swab's. I got there and talked to Jay and brought the hose in and then we talked about a few things with the body and then I left and headed to Shell to fuel the Utility up and then headed back to the station. Once there I pulled the Engine out and backed the Utility in and then rolled the hose up that we had dring, and then backed the Engine in. I then work on my paperwork from the meeting the night before and then headed on home around 17:21 hours. Once at home I ate dinner and then took a shower and am now getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.

Too Much to Write All About

A lot has happened in the past two days, and it is kind of late, so I am going to sum the past two days up as quickly as I can. I worked Sunday and I was able to tag all the equipment on both squads and 6-4, along with everything in the extrication cabinet. Me and Tim also ran 3 calls. We took one down ourselves in Upper Paxton Township, and then he ran another one with Millersburg and one with Williamstown. I got to bed late, around 02:30 hours I laid down and then came home this morning and slept some more until 12:50 hours this afternoon. I got up, read the paper and ate and then got on the PS2. I then ate dinner and headed up to the fire hall around 18:00 hours to get some things in line for the meeting tonight since I took over as Secretary. The meeting went good and I was able to keep up. I then went home and took a shower and when I got out and was drying myself, the pager went off for a cardiac arrest in Jackson Township. I yelled to my father to let him know and then got clothes on and grabbed my pager and other stuff and headed up to the station. LeeAnn was already there and I followed her in the front door and kicked my shoes off and got my bunker pants on and grabbed my jacket and helmet and then went over and opened up the bay door while LeeAnn started the Engine up awhile. About that time my father came walking in the bay door and got in the driver's seat of the Engine. We took off then as Dave was heading to the scene. We got back onto the dirt road and almost to the scene when Dave said it was a signal 12. We got turned around and headed back out. We picked LeeAnn up as we had dropped her off a little ways back to direct EMS in and then stopped and talked to House and Jean and then headed back to the station. After chaning out of my bunker gear, I filled out an incident report and then headed on home. I am soon going to bed then as I am tired.

A Road Full of Shit

I went to bed Thursday night around 03:30 hours and got up Friday morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got out of bed and got dressed and then grabbed my digital camera, my bag that had the equipment stickers and my note pad in and my suitcase and took them out to the kitchen. I then packed my lunch and got my Gatorade bottles together and then left the house around 07:30 hours and headed up to Eville to go to work. I stopped at Koppy's and picked up a snack and a newspaper and then headed to the station. When I got there I saw that 6-4 was gone so I knew they were out on a call. I parked and took my stuff inside and clocked in and put my stuff in the fridge. Flipper was already there and he said that there was no medic in Lykens last night so Stutzman came down and him and Yeager were out on a call. He also said that 6-2 had to be at the garage before 09:00 hours. So I took that time to go out and tag everything in the squad, which wasn't alot and Flipper called Tim and told him to come down to the Eville station since Stutzman had to take CPR yesterday. Tim was just backing in when the tones went off for an overdose in Jackson Township. Flipper was just going to take the squad and then my fire pager went off for a cardaic arrest. I told Flipper that it just came over for fire as a code and he told me to grab Tim and take the MICU down. So I walked out and told Tim who said he had to do CPR also and I told him to go say something to Flipper quick, while I got in 6-5. Tim came back out and got in and said to just go. So we went responding and we got there right behind the Engine and as Dave was calling a Signal 12. Well PSP was right behind me and once we told them it was a Signal 12, they took over the scene right away. 13 got there and that was when they found out that the guys wife took some of the sleeping pills also. So Tim ended up going down with 13 to Harrisburg Hospital. The Engine headed on back and that had my dad driving, Jason, Ray, and Schoffstall and Dave came POV and Jean was doing fire police. Dave was going to leave but PSP asked him to stay so he could talk to the other crime scene guy once he got there. I stayed to help the corner with the body. Dave ended up staying until we all left and that was after Tommy, the corner said we could go. My father also came back to help after getting the Engine squared away. I then left and headed down to Sheetz to pick Tim up and then we headed back to the station. Once there the CPR class was already in porcess. I helped Tim restock and then went in and sat down and read the paper while they had class. Boyer then had me get some of the new equipment out so we could play with it. We put Tim on the Scoop and when we took him off, we noticed that it was bent. So Boyer had me put a call into Bound Tree and I am waiting on a call back from them to see what we are going to do. Then Boyer, Tim and Flipper did date checkes on 6-2 and 6-4, and 6-5. The Flipper, Boyer and Wentzel went in Boyer's office and me and Tim finished up the date checks. Stutzman ran up to Jo-Jo's and got all of us lunch and after we were done doing the checks, headed into the day room and I sat down at the table and ate two of my three slices if pizza and tried to finish reading the sports section of the paper. Then around I believe 13:00 hours the tones went off for a CVA in Eville Borough. Me and Flipper were getting ready to get in 6-4 to take that call, when the tones went off again for breathing problems in Eville Borough. Tim and Stutzman took that call. After we got the lady loaded up and I went enroute to Harrisburg Hospital, county asked if we had a medic that could break free and headed to Upper Paxton for a call. I told them to go ahead and hit the tones as we might have a third medic available. All three of us ended up going to Harrisburg Hospital, with Boyer coming down on Millersburg's ambulance. Once we got what we needed down there, we headed on back. Once back I finished my other slice of pizza and the sports section and then Tim and Stutzman showed up and then Boyer got back and then we all sat around out in the bay and shot the shit and then Tim and Stutzman left and headed back up to Lykens and Boyer left for home. I then got stickers on all of the ALS gear and then sat down and ate my lunch, which was now dinner and got ready to watch the Sugar Bowl between Utah and Alabama. At 20:08 hours my fire pager went off for an accident with entrapment in Jackson Township. Our pagers then went off and we got in 6-4 and off we went. We heard the reports of something slippery on the roadway and I assumed it was in the area of the scene. Well when we came down the other side of the Eville mountain I noticed that there was something on the northbound lanes of the road and continued for a long way. I told Flipper that there was something on the road all the way up here to. Then just before we got to Rutter Road, someone slid off into one of the fields and I now told county that there was something on the roadway starting from the top of the Eville mountain and was still on the road. So we got to the scene and there was an SUV on it's roof in the grass in front of Hoffman's. I grabbed my vest and put it on and headed down to the car. Flipper and Alf were working on pulling back the one front door and then Tom asked me how much cribbing we had on the Engine and I told him about half a compartment full and he said that we were going to need all of it. So I ran up towards the Engine to tell them when I saw Andy and Jeff Enders walking down through with cribbing. I saw my father and told him that we needed all of the cribbing off and then grabbed the 3 big 8 x 8 ones and carried them down to the scene and then grabbed a backboard off of 13's rig and took it down to the car as now she was going to crawl out of the vehicle. Flipper then went abc got back in the truck and I talked with Jason for a little bit and we all said it smelled like shit. Jason said it was going to be a long night. I told him I would get off at 08:00 hours Saturday morning and if they were still out I would relieve someone. We then followed Rescue 21 back up through and then Flipper asked me to stop at Koppy's which I did. We had just come out of Koppy's when the tones went off, but it was for a call in Lykens Borough, that 6-5 took. We then headed back to the station and before I backed the truck in, I hosed all the tires off and the wheel wells and the mudflaps to get the shit off of them. After I backed the unit in I had to wash the bays out as I ended up getting some in the bay. I then got on the computer and centralpafire and started a thread and started posting stuff I got from listening to my pager and reading the comments and units off of I/Net. I watched the game while I did all this and Utah ended up beating Alabama. I also called the TV stations to see if they had been advised of the road closers and the lady from ABC27 ended up asking me some questions about it. I answered them the best I could and then watched the news at 11 and they had it as breaking news with a team on their way to the scene. Then sometime after midnight, the tones went off for a CVA in Washington Township and we took that call. After we got the guy loaded up we ended up having to the Millersburg way to get to Harrisburg Hospital as PennDot had the road completely shut down now. The tones then went off about 15 minutes later for another ALS call, this time in Halifax Township. They went the back way by the way of Powell's Valley Road to get to the scene and Tim got placed in service anyway. After we got what we needed, we headed on back up through. We got back to the station and I hosed the bay out again and then backed the truck in and helped Flipper restock and then he did his chart and I got back on the computer. When we were headed down through it sounded like they were getting ready to start hosing the roadway down as they had Engine and Tanker 29 dispatched along with Engine 35-1 and Tanker 35. I finally laid down in bed around 03:30 hours and around 04:56 hours the fire pager went off for all fire police to open the roadway back up. In the end they had apparatus there from us, Halifax, Millersburg, Elizabethville, Gratz, Linglestown, Duncannon and Summerdale, and Fire Police from Berrysburg. I got up this morning at 07:45 hours when the alarm on my cell phone went off. I got up and got the stuff back on my belt and got my boots on and put my pillow away and then took my suitcase out to the day room. I then got my stuff out of the truck and once Zach got there I clocked out and headed on home. I drove down through to see what the roads looked like and they looked pretty good, only a few spots where the shit had frozen before they could spray it off. I then stopped at the station to see if anything was going to need cleaned up later on or not and there was. I then headed on home and once at home I changed into my pj's and went back to bed to get some more sleep. My cell phone rang around 10:20 hours and it was ABC27 again wanting to do a follow up and wanted to know if they could ask me some questions. I said about my father and to call back later since they had just gotten home around 06:00 hours this morning. The tones then went off around noon for all available personnel to respond to the station for an emergency work detail. I got up and changed into street clothes and then headed on up. Once up there Jason and Matt were already there and I said my father was coming up behind me then. My fathe then showed up and then Schoffstall, Katina, Lonny, then Robby, Andy and Barb. Schoffstall then went in and got us three pizza's and Katina got some soda's out for us. Jean then showed up and talked with Jason about the fire police. Meanwhile we pressure washed the hose that was used and then they hosed off the Engine and then I did the utility and then we broke for lunch. After lunch we went back down and they hosed the Tanker off while my father did a follow up interview with ABC27. The lady had called while we were eating lunch and talked to him a little bit and then when he got off he said that someone was coming up to do a follow up. We then hosed the dump tank off from the Tanker and then put the trucks away and everyone headed on home. My father loaded the barricades up in the back of his truck and I met him at home and then we ran them over to the township building and stacked them out back. We then headed back home. Once at home I read the paper and then ate dinner and then took a shower and am soon going to bed as I am tired.

HAPPY 2009!!!

I went to bed last night around 04:30 hours and got up this morning at 11:00 hours when my mother woke me up. I got out of bed and I changed into street clothes and then we got the stuff we needed together and then got in my car and we headed on down to my Grandfather's house for our New Year's Day dinner. We got down there and then my Aunt and Uncle showed up and then we had the traditonal dinner of pork and sauerkraut. After dinner I read the paper while my father and grandfather watched the different bowl games on TV. Desert was set on the table and everyone just picked at the items since there was a lot of them. We then left around 16:20 hours and headed on home so we could watch the Rose Bowl without having to leave in the middle of it. I stopped at Sheetz and got gas and then contiuned on home. Penn State lost the game by a score of 38 to 24. We played great in the 1st quarter, then fell apart in the second quarter. In the second half we played very well, like how we should have played in the 2nd quarter. I then took a shower and got my lunch ready for work tomorrow. I am now watching the Orange Bowl and am getting ready to hit the old email and surf the net. I will be on late tonight so if any sexy ladies want to talk to me, just give me a buzz.
