Again too much to blog about
I kind of like my blog from the other day when I summerized two days, saves me a lot of typing, so I think I am going to stick to that form of blog. I went to bed Tuesday night, got up Wednesday morning at 07:10 hours when my alarm went off. I got dressed and got my stuff together and then left the house around 19:36 hours after cleaning the ice off of my car and headed up to Eville to go to work. I stopped at Koppy's and then headed to the station. I took my stuff inside and then clocked in and Jim called and said he was going to be a little late as his car had broken down. He finally got in and then Steve and Kuntz got back from a call. I then did a rig check and ate breakfast. Steve and Kuntz had a code down in Halifax Township that ended up being a signal 12. Tim was on with 24-2 and Stutzman and Kathy had taken a BLS call. The tones then went off for an unconscious person in Jackson Township, in the square of Fisherville. Tim and 24-2 said that they would handle the call. Me and Jim decided to headed on down incase they needed a hand. We got to about the bible church on Armstrong Valley Road and they called it in as a code. We went responding and they dispatched the fire department also. They also ended up being a signal 12. We then headed back and then I read the paper and then the tones went off for a call in Lykens. Stutzman and Boyer took that so Tim could get caught up on his charts. Boyer wanted Jim to get something to make for lunch. So we started up towards Wal=Mart and then the tones went off for a call in Millersburg. I turned around and we headed there. That ended up being a release to BLS and about that time the tones went off for a call in Wayne Township with 13 as BLS and us for ALS. We went available and said that we would take that call. We got that guy loaded up and headed on down to Harrisburg Hospital. We then headed on back and stopped at Wendy's so Jim could get something to eat. Once back at the station I hosed 6-4 down and then just as I backed it in, the tones went off for chest pains in Berrysburg Borough. We got there and got that guy loaded up and took him down to Harrisburg Hospital. We then headed on back and once again I hosed 6-4 off and then did my tagging for the night. Kuntz then came in and then I ate dinner and then went to bed around 02:00 hours and got up this morning around 07:30 hours when Boyer woke me up and told me that Zach had just called off a 24 and asked me to start making some calls. I told him I could only stay until 09:00 hours and then I got Stutzman to cover the day and Smith to cover the night. Then around 08:20 hours the tones went off for chest pains in Millersburg and I ran Kuntz down there and then headed on back and clocked out and left. I stopped at Swab's and talked to Jay some and got a few pictures. I then ran up to Wal-Mart and got a few things and then headed on home. Once at home I changed into my pj's and went back to bed and got some more sleep. I then woke up around 12:45 hours this afternoon and I got out of bed and read the paper and ate lunch. I then straightened up my room some and waited for the guy from Bound Tree to call me. He finally called around 16:00 hours and said he was just now on the turnpike. He then called again around 17:00 hours and said he was sitting outside of Eville's fire station. I told him where to go and then said I would be up in about 10 minutes. I got up there and showed him the scoops and then Troy called me and asked me if I was at home and I said no I was in Eville and I asked him why and he said that we would probally getting hit for a call for an accident with injuries and wanted me to grab his gear. I said I would start making my way back up and I thanked the guy from Bound Tree again and then left and headed back up through. Well they never dispatched us by the time I got to the scene so I just stopped to help. Bubba then called me and said that Robby was going to leave with the Engine. I said I would head back to the station. I already had my blue light on so I took off. I crested the hill and was surprised to see headlights and the car pulled over into a break in traffic and when I went by saw it was Jess, who I later found out had Robin and Jaz with her. I got to the station and Robby and LeeAnn were already there. LeeAnn let me in I got my gear on and then I heard the old man pull in and I let him in and then I grabbed my jacket and helmet and headed to the Engine. Robby decided to drive and I said I would get the door, which I did and then got back in the Engine and off we went. We mainly swept the roadway off and helped Fred with the cars and then went back to the station. Once there we all stood around and shot the shit. I then left around 19:20 hours and headed on home. Once at home I ate dinner while I watched thr BCS National Title game on TV. Flordai beat out Oklahoma for the title. I took a shower during halftime and am soon going to bed as I am tired.
